[0114] The term service / microservice (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, a service / microservice includes any system (or platform) configured to functionally perform the operations of a service, where the system may be data integrated, including data collection circuitry, blockchain circuitry, artificial intelligence circuitry, and / or smart contract circuitry for processing lending entities and transactions. A service / microservice may facilitate data handling and may include facilities for data extraction, transformation, and loading, data cleansing and deduplication, data normalization, data synchronization, data security, computation (e.g., performing predefined computational operations on data streams and providing output streams), compression and decompression, analytics (e.g., providing automated generation of data visualizations), data processing, and / or data storage (including storage retention, formatting, compression, migration, etc.).

[0115] A service / microservice may include controllers, processors, network infrastructure, input / output devices, servers, client devices (e.g., laptops, desktops, terminals, mobile devices, and / or dedicated devices), sensors (e.g., IoT sensors associated with one or more entities, equipment, and / or collateral), actuators (e.g., automatic locks, notification devices, lights, camera controls, etc.), virtualized versions of any one or more of the foregoing (e.g., outsourced computing resources such as cloud storage, computing operations, virtual sensors, collected subscribed data such as stock or commodity prices, recording logs, etc.), and / or components configured as computer-readable instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform one or more functions of the service. A service may be distributed across multiple devices, and / or the functions of a service may be performed by one or more devices that cooperate to perform the given functions of the service.

[0116] A service / microservice may include application programming interfaces that facilitate connectivity between components of a system (e.g., microservices) that execute the service and between the system and entities external to the system (e.g., programs, websites, user devices, etc.). While not limiting to other aspects of the present disclosure, exemplary microservices that may be present in certain embodiments include: (a) a multimodal set of data collection circuits that collect and monitor information about entities related to loan transactions; (b) a blockchain circuit for maintaining a secure historical ledger of loan-related events, the blockchain circuit having access control capabilities that manage access by the set of parties involved in the loan; (c) a set of application programming interfaces, data integration services, data processing workflows, and user interfaces for processing loan-related events and loan-related activities; and (d) a smart contract circuit for specifying the terms of a smart contract that governs at least one of the loan terms, loan-related events, and loan-related activities. Any of the services / microservices may be controlled by or have control over a controller. Certain systems may not be considered services / microservices. For example, a point-of-sale device that simply charges a set cost for goods or services may not be a service. In another example, a service that tracks the cost of goods or services and issues notifications when the value changes may not be the rating service itself, but may depend on the rating service or may form part of the rating service in certain embodiments. It is understood that a given circuit, controller, or device may be a service or part of a service in certain embodiments, such as when the functionality or capabilities of the circuit, controller, or device are configured to support a service or microservice described herein, but may not be a service or part of a service in other embodiments (e.g., when the functionality or capabilities of the circuit, controller, or device are not related to a service or microservice described herein). In another example, a mobile device operated by a user may form part of a service described herein at a first point in time (e.g., when the user accesses the functionality of the service via an application or other communication from the mobile device and / or when a monitoring function is being performed via the mobile device), but may not form part of the service at a second point in time (e.g., after the transaction is completed, after the user uninstalls the application, and / or when the monitoring function is stopped and / or handed over to another device). Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applied to a wide variety of processes or systems, any of which may be considered a service (or part of a service) herein.

[0117] One skilled in the art, given the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated systems typically available to that person, will readily be able to determine which aspects of the disclosure herein will benefit a particular system and how the processes and systems of the disclosure can be combined and configured to provide performance characteristics (e.g., bandwidth, computational power, time response, etc.) and / or operational capabilities (e.g., uptime requirements including time between checks, longitudinal (e.g., continuous operation time), and / or sequential (e.g., time of day, calendar time, etc.) uptime requirements, sensing resolution and / or accuracy, data determination (e.g., accuracy, timing, data volume), and / or actuator confirmation capabilities) of components of a service sufficient to provide a given embodiment of the services, platforms, and / or microservices described herein. Specific considerations that one skilled in the art should take into account when determining the configuration of components, circuits, controllers, and / or devices for implementing the services, platforms, and / or microservices (hereinafter, "Services") described herein include, but are not limited to, the balance of capital costs versus operational costs of implementing and operating the service; the availability, speed, and / or bandwidth of network services available to system components, service users, and / or other entities that interact with the service; response time considerations for the service (e.g., how quickly intra-service decisions must be made to support the commercial functionality of the service, the operation times of various artificial intelligence and other advanced computational processes), and / or the capital or operational costs of supporting a given response time; the location of interacting components of the service and the impact of such location on the operation of the service (e.g., location of data storage, relevant regulatory schemes, and / or the impact of such location on the operation of the service). The location of components that interact with the service and the impact such location has on the operation of the service (e.g., location of data storage and associated regulatory schemes, network communication limitations and costs, power costs depending on location, whether time zones associated with the service are supported, etc.); the availability of certain types of sensors, associated support for those sensors, and availability of sufficient substitutes (e.g., cameras may require lighting support); the underlying value aspects of the service (e.g., loan principal, value of collateral, changes in value of collateral, net worth or relative net worth of lenders, guarantors, borrowers, etc.), including the time sensitivity of the underlying value (e.g., loan principal, value of collateral, changes in value of collateral, net worth or relative net worth of lenders, guarantors, borrowers, etc.); trust metrics between the parties to the transaction (performance history between the parties, credit ratings, social ratings, or other external metrics, and the relationship between the parties to the transaction); (e.g., conformance of related activities to industry standards or other standardized transaction types), and / or availability of cost recovery options (e.g., subscriptions, fees, payments for services, etc.) for a given configuration and / or functionality of the service, platform, and / or microservice. Without being limited to other aspects of the present disclosure, specific operations performed by the services herein include executing real-time changes to loans based on tracked data, utilizing data to execute secured smart contracts, revaluing debt transactions depending on tracked status or data, etc. While specific examples of services / microservices and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system benefiting from the disclosure herein and any considerations understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

One skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated systems typically available to him or her, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of a contemplated system. Among the considerations one skilled in the art may consider in determining the configuration for a particular service include: distribution and access devices available to one or more parties to a particular transaction, jurisdictional restrictions on the storage, type, and communication of particular types of information, requirements or desirable aspects regarding security and verification of information communication of the service, information collection, inter-party communications, and response times of decisions made by the algorithms, machine learning components, and / or artificial intelligence components of the service.Considerations regarding the cost of the services, including capital and operating costs, which party or entity will bear the costs, whether costs can be recovered through subscription or service fees or similar, the amount of information stored and / or communicated in support of the services, and / or the processing or computing power utilized in support of the services.

[0119] The terms "items and services" (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, items and services include items and services used as compensation, items and services used as collateral, items and services that are the subject of negotiation, and the like, such as products, services, deliverables, solutions, physical products, software, service levels, service quality, financial instruments, liabilities, secured items, performance of services, and other items, applications for guarantees regarding items that are the subject of loans, collateral for loans, etc. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, the items and services may include items and services applied to physical items (e.g., vehicles, boats, airplanes, buildings, homes, real estate properties, undeveloped land, farms, crops, municipal facilities, warehouses, sets of inventory, antiques, fixtures, items of furniture, items of equipment, tools, items of machinery, and items of personal possessions), financial items (e.g., commodities, securities, currency, tokens of value, tickets, cryptocurrencies), consumables (e.g., edible items, beverages), high-value items (e.g., precious metals, items of jewelry, gemstones), intellectual items (e.g., items of intellectual property, intellectual property rights, contractual rights), etc. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applied to a wide variety of systems, and any such system may be considered with respect to the items and services herein, while in certain embodiments, certain systems may not be considered with respect to the items and services herein. One skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems generally available to him or her, will be able to readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine the processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system.

[0120] As used herein, the terms agent, automated agent, and similar terms should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, an agent or automated agent can process events related to at least one of the value, status, and ownership of an item of collateral or asset. The agent or automated agent can also take action related to a loan, debt transaction, bond transaction, subsidized loan, etc., to which the collateral or asset is subject, such as in response to a processed event. The agent or automated agent can interact with the market for purposes such as collecting data, testing spot market transactions, executing trades, etc., where the behavior of a dynamic system includes complex interactions that a user may wish to understand, predict, control, and / or optimize. A particular system may not be considered an agent or automated agent. For example, if events are merely collected but not processed, the system may not be an agent or automated agent. In some embodiments, if a loan-related action is taken that is not in response to a processed event, it may not have been taken by an agent or automated agent. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to that person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure include and / or benefit from an agent or automated agent. Particular considerations for embodiments of the present disclosure involving an agent or automated agent include, but are not limited to, rules for determining when there has been a change in the value, condition, or ownership of an asset or collateral, and / or rules for determining whether a change warrants further action regarding a loan or other transaction, and other considerations. While specific examples of market values and market information are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0121] As used herein, market information, market value, and similar terms should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, market information and market value describe the condition or value of an asset, collateral, food, or service at a defined point in time or period. Market value may refer to the expected value placed on an item in a market or auction setting, or to pricing and financial data for an item, asset, or collateral-like item in at least one public market. For a company, market value is the number of outstanding shares multiplied by the current stock price. Valuation services may include market value data collection services that monitor and report market information related to the value (e.g., market value) of a collateral, an issuer, a set of bonds, a set of assets, a set of subsidized loans, or parties. Market value may be dynamic in nature, as it depends on a variety of factors, from physical operating conditions to economic conditions and supply and demand dynamics. Market value may be affected by, and market information may include, proximity to other assets, asset inventory and supply, demand for the asset, the origin of the item, the history of the item, the underlying current value of the item's components, the bankruptcy status of the company, the foreclosure status of the company, the contract default status of the company, the regulatory violation status of the company, the criminal status of the company, the export control status of the company, the embargo status of the company, etc. The export control status of the entity, the embargo status of the entity, the tariff status of the entity, the tax status of the entity, the credit report of the entity, the credit rating of the entity, the website rating of the entity, a set of customer reviews for the entity's products, the social network rating of the entity, a set of qualifications of the entity, a set of referrals of the entity, a set of testimonials of the entity, a set of behaviors of the entity, the location of the entity, and the geographic location information of the entity. In certain embodiments, market value may include information such as the volatility of value, the sensitivity of value (e.g., relative to other parameters that have associated uncertainty), and / or the particular value of the valued object to a particular party (e.g., an object may be more valuable if owned by a first party than if owned by a second party).

[0122] Some information may not be market information or market value. For example, if a value-related variable is not market-derived, it may be use value or investment value. In certain embodiments, investment value may be considered market value (e.g., if the appraiser intends to use the asset as an investment if acquired), and in other embodiments, it may not be considered market value (e.g., if the appraiser intends to immediately liquidate the investment if acquired). One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the assumed systems typically available to that person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure benefit from market information or market value. For those skilled in the art, specific considerations in determining whether the term market value refers to an asset, item, collateral, good, or service include the presence of other similar assets in the market, variations in value by location, opening bids for an item above list price, and other considerations. While specific examples of market value and market information are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment benefiting from the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0123] The terms apportionment value or apportionment value and similar terms used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of the present disclosure, apportionment value describes the process of allocating or allocating value proportionately, or dividing and allocating value according to the rules of pro rata allocation. The allocation of value may be to multiple parties (e.g., multiple parties each being the beneficiary of a portion of the value), to multiple transactions (e.g., each transaction utilizing a portion of the value), and / or in a many-to-many relationship (e.g., a group of objects has an aggregate value that is allocated among multiple parties and / or transactions). In some embodiments, the value may be a net loss, and the allocated value is the allocation of debt to each entity. In other embodiments, allocated value may refer to the distribution or allocation of economic benefits, real estate, collateral, etc. For example, if a $10 million asset is allocated 50 / 50 between two parties, one party may credit the allocation and receive a different value as a result of the allocation if the parties consider the asset to be of different value. For example, a first type of transaction (e.g., a long-term loan) may have a different asset valuation than a second type of transaction (e.g., a short-term line of credit).

[0124] Certain conditions or processes may not be relevant to the allocated value. For example, the total value of an item may provide its inherent value, but it does not tell us how much value each identified entity holds. Those skilled in the art, with the benefit of this disclosure and knowledge of allocated value, can readily determine which aspects of this disclosure will benefit their particular application for allocated value. Specific considerations for those skilled in the art, or for embodiments of the present disclosure regarding allocated value, include, but are not limited to, the currency of the principal, the expected type of transaction (loan, bond, or debt), the specific type of collateral, the loan-to-value ratio, the collateral-to-loan ratio, the total transaction / loan amount, the principal amount, the number of debtors, the value of the collateral, etc. While specific examples of allocated values are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment having the benefit of this disclosure, and any considerations understood by those skilled in the art having the benefit of this disclosure, are specifically contemplated within the scope of this disclosure.

[0125] The term "financial condition" and similar terms used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, financial condition refers to the current state of a company's assets, liabilities, and capital position at a defined point in time or period. Financial condition may be recorded in financial statements. Financial condition may also include an assessment of the company's ability to weather future risk scenarios and meet future or maturing obligations. Financial condition may be based on a set of attributes selected from a publicly available company valuation, a set of assets owned by the company as shown in public documents, a valuation of a set of assets owned by the company, the company's bankruptcy status, the company's foreclosure status, the company's contract default status, the company's regulatory violation status, the company's criminal status, the company's export control status, the company's embargo status, and a set of attributes owned by the company. Financial status may also represent conditions or thresholds for a contract or loan. For example, a developer's ability to proceed may be conditional on various certifications and financial payments. That is, the developer's ability to proceed may be conditional on financial factors in particular. Some conditions may not be financial. For example, a credit card balance alone may provide a clue to financial status but not necessarily financial status. In another example, a payment schedule may determine how long a liability has been on a company's balance sheet but may not provide an accurate picture of financial status. One of ordinary skill in the art, given the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems generally available to him or her, will be able to readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure involve and / or benefit from financial conditions.Matters that one of ordinary skill in the art would consider when determining whether the term financial condition refers to the current state of a company's asset, liability, and capital position at a defined point in time or period and / or for a given purpose include reporting of multiple financial data points, loan to collateral value ratios, loan to collateral ratios, total transaction / loan amounts, borrower and lender credit scores, and other considerations. While specific examples of financial terms are set forth herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of this disclosure, are specifically contemplated within the scope of this disclosure.

[0126] The term interest rate and similar terms used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, interest rates include the amount of interest payable per period as a percentage of the amount loaned, deposited, or borrowed. The total interest amount on a loaned or borrowed amount may depend on the principal, the interest rate, the frequency of compounding, and the term of the loan, deposit, or borrowing. Interest rates are typically expressed as a yearly percentage, but can also be defined for any period. Interest rates relate to the amount a lender, such as a bank, charges to borrow its money or the interest rate a bank or other institution pays to savers to hold money in an account. Interest rates may be floating or fixed. For example, interest rates may fluctuate depending on the directives of a government or other stakeholder, the currency of the principal being lent or borrowed, the time to maturity of the investment, the borrower's perceived probability of default, supply and demand in the market, the amount of collateral, the state of the economy, or special features such as call provisions. In certain embodiments, interest rates may be relative rates (e.g., rates relative to the prime rate, an inflation index, etc.). In certain embodiments, the interest rate may further take into account costs or fees (e.g., "points") applied to adjust the interest rate. A nominal interest rate may not adjust for inflation, while a real interest rate takes inflation into account. Specific examples may not be interest rates for purposes of certain embodiments. For example, a bank account growing by a fixed dollar amount each year and / or growing by a fixed fee amount may not be an example of an interest rate for certain embodiments. Those skilled in the art with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of interest rates can readily determine the characteristics of interest rates for particular embodiments. Specific considerations for those skilled in the art of interest rates, or for embodiments of the present disclosure, include, but are not limited to, the currency of the principal, variables for setting the interest rate, criteria for adjusting the interest rate, the expected type of transaction (loan, bond, or debt), the specific collateral type, loan-to-value ratio, collateral-to-loan ratio, total transaction / loan amount, amount of principal, the appropriate lifespan of the transaction and / or collateral in a particular industry, the likelihood that the lender will sell and / or consolidate the loan before its term, etc. While particular examples of interest rates are set forth herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, is specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0127] The term "valuation service" (and similar terms) used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, a valuation service includes any service that assigns a value to goods or services. A valuation service may use a valuation model to assign a value to collateral based on information from a data collection and monitoring service. A smart contract service may process output from a series of valuation services to allocate items of collateral sufficient to provide security for a loan and / or allocate the value of items of collateral among a series of lenders and / or transactions. A valuation service may include an artificial intelligence service that iteratively improves a valuation model based on outcome data related to collateral transactions. A valuation service may include a market value data collection service that monitors and reports market information related to the value of collateral. Some processes may not be considered valuation services. For example, a point-of-sale device that simply charges a set cost for goods or services may not be a valuation service. In another example, a service that tracks the cost of goods or services and provides notifications when the value changes may not be a valuation service itself, but may depend on and / or form part of a valuation service. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of process systems, and any such process or system may be considered an assessment service herein, while in certain embodiments, certain services may not be considered assessment services herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to him or her, will readily be able to determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and how processes and systems from the present disclosure may be combined to enhance the operation of the contemplated system and / or provide assessment services.Particular considerations that one of ordinary skill in the art would take when determining whether a contemplated system is a rating service and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure would benefit the contemplated system include, but are not limited to, making real-time changes to loans based on the value of collateral, utilizing market data to execute secured smart contracts, revaluing collateral based on storage condition or geographic location, collateral having volatile value, being utilized, and / or prone to movement, etc. While particular examples of rating services and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0128] The term "collateral attributes" (and similar terms) used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, collateral attributes include characteristics such as durability (the ability of the collateral to withstand wear or the useful life of the collateral), value, distinctiveness (whether the collateral has distinctive characteristics that make it easy to identify or market), stability of value (whether the collateral maintains its value over time), standardization, grade, quality, marketability, liquidity, transferability, desirability, traceability, deliverability (whether the collateral can be delivered or transferred without depreciation), market transparency (whether the value of the collateral is easily verifiable or widely agreed upon), and physical or virtual. Collateral attributes can be measured absolutely or relatively and can include qualitative (e.g., categorical descriptions) or quantitative descriptions. Collateral attributes may vary across different industries, products, elements, applications, etc. Collateral attributes can be assigned quantitative or qualitative values. Values associated with collateral attributes may be based on a scale (e.g., 1 to 10) or a relative designation (e.g., high, low, good). Collateral includes various components, and each component can have collateral attributes. Thus, collateral may have multiple values for the same collateral attribute. In some embodiments, multiple values for collateral attributes may be combined to generate a single value for each attribute. Some collateral attributes may apply only to specific portions of collateral. Some collateral attributes may have different values, even for specific components of collateral, depending on the stakeholders (e.g., a party that values certain aspects of the collateral more highly than another party) and / or depending on the type of transaction (e.g., collateral may be more valuable or appropriate for a first type of loan than a second type of loan). Certain attributes associated with collateral may not be collateral attributes described herein, depending on the purpose of the collateral attributes herein. For example, a product may be rated as durable relative to similar products, but if the product's lifespan is much shorter than the term of the particular loan under consideration, the product's durability may be rated differently (e.g., not durable) or irrelevant (e.g., if current inventory of the product is attached as collateral and is expected to be replaced over the term of the loan). Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applied to a variety of attributes, any of which may be considered collateral attributes herein, while in certain embodiments, certain attributes may not be considered collateral attributes herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of anticipated collateral attributes typically available to him or her, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure benefit particular collateral attributes. Specific considerations that one of ordinary skill in the art would consider when determining whether a contemplated attribute is a collateral attribute and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure would benefit a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the source of the attribute and the source of the attribute value (e.g., whether the attribute and attribute value come from a trusted source), the volatility of the attribute (e.g., whether the attribute value of the collateral fluctuates or whether the attribute is a new attribute of the collateral), the relative differences in the attribute values of similar collateral, the exceptional values of the attribute (e.g., some attribute values may be high, such as the 98th percentile, or very low, such as the 2nd percentile, compared to similar classes of collateral), the fungibility of the collateral, the type of transaction associated with the collateral, and / or the purpose for using the collateral for a particular party or transaction. While particular examples of collateral attributes and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system benefiting from the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0129] The term "blockchain service" (and similar terms) used herein should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, a blockchain service may include any service related to processing, recording, and / or updating a blockchain, including services for processing blocks, calculating hash values, generating new blocks in a blockchain, adding blocks to a blockchain, creating forks in a blockchain, merging forks in a blockchain, verifying previous calculations, and updating a shared ledger. Creating a fork in a blockchain, merging forks in a blockchain, verifying previous calculations, updating a shared ledger, updating a distributed ledger, generating cryptographic keys, validating transactions, maintaining a blockchain, updating a blockchain, validating a blockchain, and generating random numbers. Services may be performed by executing computer-readable instructions on a local computer and / or on a remote server and computer. While a particular service may not be considered a blockchain service individually, it may be considered a blockchain service based on the end use of the service and / or in certain embodiments. For example, calculating a hash value may be performed in a context outside of a blockchain, such as in the context of secure communications. While some initial services may be invoked without first being applied to a blockchain, further actions or services that interact with the initial service may associate the initial service with aspects of a blockchain. For example, random numbers may be periodically generated and stored in memory. The random numbers may be utilized by a blockchain without initially being generated for the purpose of the blockchain. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable in a wide variety of services, any of which may be considered a blockchain service herein, while in certain embodiments, a given service may not be considered a blockchain service herein.A person skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated blockchain services typically available to that person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure can be configured to implement and / or benefit from a particular blockchain service. Particular considerations for a person skilled in the art in determining whether a contemplated service is a blockchain service and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the use of the service, the source of the service (e.g., if the service is associated with a known or verifiable blockchain service provider), the responsiveness of the service (e.g., some blockchain services may have an expected completion time and / or may be determined by usage), the cost of the service, the amount of data required by the service, and / or the amount of data generated by the service (e.g., blocks on a blockchain or keys associated with a blockchain may be of a particular size or a particular range of sizes). While specific examples of blockchain services and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system that would benefit from the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by a person skilled in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0130] As used herein, the term blockchain (and variations such as cryptocurrency ledger) is broadly understood to describe a cryptocurrency ledger that records, manages, or otherwise processes online transactions. A blockchain may be, without limitation, public, private, or a combination thereof. A blockchain may also be used to represent a set of digital transactions, agreements, terms, or other digital value. In the former case, and without limitation to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, a blockchain may also be used in connection with investment applications, token trading applications, and / or digital / cryptocurrency-based marketplaces. A blockchain may also be associated with the provision of consideration, such as the provision of goods, services, items, fees, access to restricted areas or events, data, or other valuable benefits. Various forms of blockchain may be included when discussing units of consideration, collateral, currency, cryptocurrency, or other forms of value. Those skilled in the art, with the benefit of this disclosure and commonly available knowledge of the contemplated system, can readily determine the value symbolized or represented by a blockchain. While particular examples of blockchains are described herein for purposes of illustration, any embodiment having the benefit of this disclosure, and any considerations that would be understood by a person of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of this disclosure, is specifically contemplated within the scope of this disclosure.

[0131] The terms ledger and distributed ledger (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, a ledger may be a document, file, computer file, database, book, etc. that maintains a record of transactions. A ledger may be physical or digital. A ledger may include records related to sales, accounts, purchases, transactions, assets, liabilities, income, expenses, capital, etc. A ledger may provide a history of transactions associated with time. A ledger may be centralized or decentralized. A centralized ledger is a document that is managed, updated, or viewable by one or more selected entities or clearinghouses, and changes or updates to the ledger may be managed or controlled by the entities or clearinghouses. A distributed ledger is a ledger that is distributed to multiple entities, participants, or regions, and these entities, participants, or regions can update or modify their copies of the ledger independently, simultaneously, or with consent. Ledgers and distributed ledgers may include security measures and cryptographic functions for signing, concealing, and verifying content. Distributed ledgers may use blockchain technology. In distributed ledgers implemented using blockchain, the ledger may be a Merkle tree consisting of a linked list of nodes, where each node contains the hashed or encrypted transaction data of the previous node. A particular transaction record may not be considered a ledger. A file, computer file, database, or book may or may not be a ledger depending on the data it stores and how the data is organized, maintained, or secured. For example, a list of transactions is not considered a ledger if it cannot be trusted or verified, or if it is based on inconsistent, fraudulent, or incomplete data. Ledger data can be organized in any format, such as a table, list, or binary stream of data, depending on convenience, the source of the data, the type of data, the environment, and the application.A ledger shared among various entities may not be a distributed ledger, although the distinction of being distributed may be based on which entities have the authority to make changes to the ledger and / or how changes are shared and processed among the different entities. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of data, and any such data may be considered a ledger herein, while in certain embodiments, certain data may not be considered a ledger herein. With the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated ledgers and distributed ledgers generally available to them, one of ordinary skill in the art can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure can be used to implement and / or benefit a particular ledger. Particular considerations for a person of ordinary skill in determining whether contemplated data is a ledger and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated ledger include, but are not limited to, the security of the data in the ledger (can the data be tampered with or changed?), the time it takes to change data in the ledger, the cost (computational and monetary) of the change, the details of the data, and the composition of the data (does the data need to be processed for use in an application?). Data confidentiality (who can see or track data in the ledger), infrastructure size, communication requirements (distributed ledgers may require communication interfaces or specific infrastructure), resilience. While specific examples of blockchain services and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of this disclosure.

[0132] The term loan (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, a loan may be a contract involving borrowed assets that are expected to be repaid in kind (e.g., borrowing money and returning it) or as an agreed-upon transaction (e.g., a first good or service is borrowed and money, a second good or service, or a combination thereof) is returned. An asset may be money, property, time, a physical object, a virtual object, a service, a right (e.g., a ticket, license, or other right), depreciation, credits (e.g., tax credits, emission credits), an agreed-upon assumption of risk or liability, or a combination thereof. A loan is based on a formal or informal agreement between a borrower and a lender, where the lender may provide an asset to the borrower for a predefined period, a variable period, or an indefinite period. The lender and borrower may be individuals, entities, corporations, governments, groups of people, organizations, etc. Types of loans include mortgages, personal loans, secured loans, unsecured loans, concession loans, commercial loans, and microloans. A contract between a borrower and a lender may specify the terms of the loan. The borrower may be required to return an asset or to repay with a different asset than the one used to borrow. In some cases, interest may be required to repay the borrowed asset. The borrower and lender may be intermediaries between other entities and may not own or use the asset. In some embodiments, a loan may not involve a direct transfer of an item, but rather a right of use or a shared right of use. In certain embodiments, the contract between a borrower and a lender may be executed between the borrower and lender and / or with an intermediary (e.g., the beneficiary of the loan interest, such as through the sale of the loan). In certain embodiments, the contract between the borrower and lender may be executed via a service herein, for example, via a smart contract service that determines at least a portion of the terms of the loan, and in certain embodiments, may commit the borrower and / or lender to the terms of the contract, which may be a smart contract. In certain embodiments, the smart contract service may input the terms of the contract and present it to the borrower and / or lender for execution. In certain embodiments, the smart contract service may automatically commit one of the borrower or lender to the terms (at least as an offer) and present the offer to the other of the borrower or lender for execution. In certain embodiments, a loan agreement may include multiple borrowers and / or multiple lenders, e.g., a set of loans may include multiple payment beneficiaries and / or a set of loans may include multiple borrowers, etc. In certain embodiments, the risk and / or obligations of a set of loans may be individualized (e.g., each borrower and / or lender is associated with a particular loan of the set of loans), allocated (e.g., a default on a particular loan has an associated loss allocated among the lenders), and / or a combination thereof (e.g., one or more subsets of the set of loans may be treated separately and / or allocated).

[0133] Certain types of agreements may not be considered loans. An agreement to transfer or borrow assets may not be considered a loan depending on the type of asset transferred, how the asset is transferred, or the parties involved. For example, in some cases, the transfer of assets may be for an indefinite period and be considered a sale or permanent transfer of the asset. Similarly, an agreement to borrow or transfer assets without explicit terms or without consensus between the lender and borrower may not be considered a loan in some cases. Even if a formal agreement is not directly codified in a contract, it may be considered a loan as long as the parties willingly and knowingly consent to the arrangement and / or because common practice (e.g., in a particular industry) would allow the transaction to be treated as a loan. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of agreements, any of which may be considered a loan herein, while in certain embodiments, certain agreements may not be considered loans herein. A person skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated loans typically available to that person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure would benefit a loan, utilize a loan, or a particular loan transaction. Particular considerations in determining whether a contemplated loan is a loan and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure could benefit or enhance a contemplated loan include, but are not limited to, the value of the assets involved, the borrower's ability to return or repay the loan, the type of assets involved (e.g., how the loan was entered into, the form of the agreement, the details of the agreement, the details of the loan agreement, the collateral attributes of the loan, and / or the normal business expectations of any of the foregoing in the particular circumstances). While specific examples of loans and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system benefiting from the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by a person skilled in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0134] The term loan-related event (and similar terms including loan-related events) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of the present disclosure, a loan-related event may include an event related to the terms of a loan or an event triggered by a contract related to a loan. A loan-related event may include a loan default, a breach of contract, performance, repayment, payment, a change in interest rate, assessment of a late fee, assessment of a refund, a distribution, etc. A loan-related event may be triggered by an explicit contractual term. For example, a contract may specify that an interest rate will increase after a certain period of time has passed since the origination of the loan, and a contractually triggered increase in interest rate may be a loan-related event. A loan-related event may be implicitly triggered by the relevant loan contractual terms. In certain embodiments, any occurrence that is considered to be related to the assumptions of the loan contract and / or the expectations of the parties to the loan contract is considered to be the occurrence of an event. For example, if the collateral for a loan is expected to be exchangeable (e.g., inventory as collateral), a change in inventory levels may be considered to be the occurrence of a loan-related event. In another example, when a review and / or confirmation of the collateral is expected, a lack of access to the collateral, a disabled or failed monitoring sensor, etc. may be considered to be the occurrence of a loan-related event. In certain embodiments, the circuitry, controller, or other device described herein may automatically trigger the determination of a loan-related event. In some embodiments, a loan-related event may be triggered by an entity managing the loan or loan-related agreement. A loan-related event may be conditionally triggered based on one or more terms in the loan agreement. A loan-related event may be related to a task or requirement that a lender, borrower, or third party must complete. A particular event may be considered a loan-related event in certain embodiments and / or in certain contexts, but may not be considered a loan-related event in other embodiments or contexts. Many events, while related to the loan, may be caused by external triggers that are not related to the loan. However, in certain embodiments, an externally triggered event (e.g., a change in a commodity price related to a collateral item) may be a loan-related event. For example, a renegotiation of loan terms initiated by a lender may not be considered a loan-related event if the terms and / or performance of the existing loan agreement did not trigger the renegotiation. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of events, any of which may be considered a loan-related event herein, while in certain embodiments, a given event may not be considered a loan-related event herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems generally available to him or her, will readily be able to determine which aspects of the present disclosure may be considered loan-related events for the contemplated systems and / or particular transactions supported by the systems. Specific considerations that a person skilled in the art may consider when determining whether contemplated data is a loan-related event and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated trading system include, but are not limited to, the impact of the relevant event on the loan (events that cause loan default or termination may have a higher impact), the costs (capital and / or operational) associated with the event, the costs (capital and / or operational) associated with monitoring the occurrence of the event, the entity responsible for responding to the event, the duration and / or response time associated with the event (e.g., the time required to complete the event and the time allotted from when the event occurs until the event is desired to be processed or detected), the entity responsible for the event, the data required to process the event (e.g., sensitive information may have different safeguards or restrictions), the availability of mitigating measures in the event of an undetected event, and / or the remedies available to the party at risk in the event of an undetected event. While particular examples of loan-related events and considerations are described herein for purposes of illustration, any system having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0135] As used herein, the term "loan-related activities" (and similar terms) should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, loan-related activities may include activities related to loan origination, maintenance, termination, collection, enforcement, servicing, billing, marketing, performance, or negotiation. Loan-related activities may include activities related to signing loan agreements or promissory notes, reviewing loan documents, processing payments, valuing collateral, assessing borrower or lender compliance with loan terms, renegotiating terms, perfecting security or collateral for a loan, and / or negating terms. Loan-related activities may relate to events related to a loan before the terms are formally agreed upon, such as activities related to initial negotiations. Loan-related activities may relate to events during the life of a loan and after the loan is terminated. Loan-related activities may be performed by the lender, the borrower, or a third party. While an activity may not be considered a loan-related activity individually, it may be considered a loan-related activity based on the activity's specificity to the loan's life cycle. For example, an invoice or bill related to an outstanding loan may be considered loan-related activity, but if the invoice or bill for the loan is combined with an invoice or bill for non-loan-related elements, the invoice or bill may not be considered loan-related activity. Some activities may be performed in connection with an asset regardless of whether the loan is related to the asset, in which case the activity would not be considered loan-related activity. For example, a periodic audit related to an asset may be performed regardless of whether the asset is related to a loan and may not be considered loan-related activity. In another example, a periodic audit related to an asset may be required by a loan agreement and would not normally occur without a loan connection, in which case the activity may be considered loan-related activity. In some embodiments, an activity may be considered a loan-related activity if it is an activity that would not otherwise occur if the loan were inactive or non-existent, although in some cases it may still be considered a loan-related activity (e.g., if an audit normally occurs but the lender does not have the ability to perform or review the audit, the audit may be considered a loan-related activity even though it would otherwise have occurred). Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of events, any of which may be considered a loan-related event herein, while in certain embodiments, a given event may not be considered a loan-related event herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated system generally available to that person, can readily determine loan-related activity for purposes of the contemplated system. Particular considerations for one of ordinary skill in the art when determining whether contemplated data is loan-related activity and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance the contemplated loan include, but are not limited to, the following: The necessity of the activity for the loan (can the loan agreement or terms be met without the activity), the cost of the activity, the uniqueness of the activity for the loan (is the activity similar or identical to other industries?), the time the activity will take, the impact the activity will have on the life cycle of the loan, the entity performing the activity, the amount of data required for the activity (does the activity require confidential information related to the loan or personal information related to the entity?), and / or the ability of the parties to perform and / or review the activity. While specific examples of events and considerations related to loans are described herein for purposes of illustration, any system having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0136] Terms used herein, such as loan-terms, loan terms, terms for a loan, terms and conditions, etc., should be understood broadly ("Loan Terms"). Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, loan terms may relate to conditions, rules, restrictions, contractual obligations, etc. related to timing, repayment, origination, and other enforceable terms agreed upon by the borrower and the loan lender. Loan terms may be specified in a formal agreement between the borrower and the lender. Loan terms may specify aspects such as interest rates, collateral, mortgage terms, debt consequences, payment methods, payment schedules, and covenants. Loan terms are negotiable and may change during the life of the loan. Loan terms may change or be affected by external parameters, such as market prices, bond prices, and conditions related to the lender or the borrower. Certain aspects of a loan may not be considered loan terms. In certain embodiments, aspects of a loan that are not formally agreed upon between the lender and the borrower and / or that are not commonly understood in the course of business (and / or in a particular industry) may not be considered loan terms. Certain aspects of a loan may be preliminary or informal until formally agreed or confirmed in a contract or formal agreement. Certain aspects of a loan may not be considered loan conditions individually, but may be considered loan conditions based on the specificity of the aspect to a particular loan. Certain aspects of a loan may not be considered loan conditions at certain times during the loan, but may be considered loan conditions at other times during the loan (e.g., obligations and / or waivers that may arise from the parties' performance and / or expiration of the loan term). For example, an interest rate is generally defined in the context of a loan and may not be considered a loan condition until the compounding rate (annual, monthly), calculation method, etc. are defined. Some aspects of a loan may not be considered terms if they are unclear or unenforceable. Some aspects may indicate or be related to the terms of a loan, but may not be conditions themselves. For example, a loan term may be the repayment period of the loan, such as one year. The term does not specify how the loan is repaid during the year. It may be repaid in 12 monthly payments or in one annual payment. The monthly payment plan in this case may not be considered the term of the loan, as it is merely one or many options for repayment that are not directly specified by the loan. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applied to a wide variety of loan aspects, any of which may be considered loan terms herein, while in certain embodiments, certain aspects may not be considered loan terms herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to him or her, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure are loan terms of the contemplated systems.

[0137] Matters that a person skilled in the art should consider when determining whether the contemplated data are loan terms and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure could benefit or enhance the contemplated loan include, but are not limited to, the enforceability of the terms (whether the lender, lessor, or borrower can enforce the terms), the cost of enforcing the terms (the time or effort required to ensure the terms are followed), the complexity of the terms (how easy are the parties to follow or understand, and whether the terms are prone to error or misinterpretation), who is responsible for the terms, the fairness of the terms, the stability of the terms (how often do they change), the observability of the terms (can another party verify the terms), the favorability of the terms to one party (are the terms favorable to the borrower or lessor), the risks associated with the loan (the terms may depend on the likelihood that the loan will not be repaid), the characteristics of the borrower or lessor (their ability to meet the terms), and / or normal expectations for loans and the related industry.

[0138] While specific examples of loan terms are provided herein for illustrative purposes, any system having the benefit of this disclosure and considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of this disclosure are specifically contemplated within the scope of this disclosure.

[0139] As used herein, terms such as loan terms, loan conditions, loan terms, and conditions should be understood broadly ("loan terms"). Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, loan terms may relate to rules, restrictions, and / or obligations associated with a loan. Loan terms may relate to rules or required obligations for obtaining a loan, maintaining a loan, applying for a loan, transferring a loan, etc. Loan terms may include the debt principal, debt balance, fixed interest rate, variable interest rate, payment amount, payment schedule, balloon payment schedule, collateral designation, collateral fungibility designation, collateral treatment, access to collateral, parties, guarantees, guarantors, collateral, personal guarantees, liens, term, covenants, lien conditions, default conditions, conditions regarding the debtor's other obligations, and consequences of default.

[0140] Certain aspects of a loan may not be considered loan conditions. Aspects of a loan that are not formally agreed upon between the lender and borrower and / or that are not commonly understood in the course of business (and / or in a particular industry) may not be considered loan conditions. Certain aspects of a loan may be preliminary or informal until formally agreed upon or confirmed in a contract or formal agreement. Certain aspects of a loan may not be considered loan conditions individually, but may be considered loan conditions based on the specificity of that aspect to a particular loan. Certain aspects of a loan may not be considered loan conditions at a particular time during the loan, but may be considered loan conditions at another time during the loan (e.g., obligations and / or waivers that may arise from the parties' performance and / or expiration of a loan condition). Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of loan aspects, any of which may be considered loan conditions herein, while in certain embodiments, a given aspect may not be considered a loan condition herein. A person skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated system typically available to that person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure are loan terms of the contemplated system. Specific considerations for a person skilled in the art in determining whether contemplated data are loan terms and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure could benefit or enhance a contemplated loan include, but are not limited to, the enforceability of the terms (whether the lender, lender, or borrower can enforce the terms), the cost of enforcing the terms (the time or effort required to ensure the terms are followed), the complexity of the terms (how easily the parties can follow or understand the terms, and whether the terms are prone to error or misinterpretation), who is responsible for the terms, the fairness of the terms, the observability of the terms (whether the other party can verify the terms), the favorability of the terms to one party (whether the terms favor the borrower or the lender), the risks associated with the loan (the terms may depend on the likelihood that the loan will not be repaid), and / or normal expectations for loans and / or the related industry.

[0141] While specific examples of loan terms are provided herein for illustrative purposes, any system having the benefit of this disclosure and considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of this disclosure are specifically contemplated within the scope of this disclosure.

[0142] As used herein, terms such as loan collateral, pledge, items of collateral, and items of collateral should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, loan collateral may refer to any asset or property that a borrower pledges to a lender as a backup and / or security for a loan in exchange for a loan. Collateral may be any item of value that is acceptable as an alternative method of repayment in the event of a loan default. Collateral may include any physical or virtual item, such as a vehicle, boat, airplane, building, house, real estate, undeveloped land, farm, crops, municipal facilities, warehouse, inventory, goods, securities, currency, tokens of value, tickets, cryptocurrency, consumables, food, beverages, precious metals, jewelry, intellectual property, intellectual property rights, contractual rights, antiques, fixtures, furniture, equipment, tools, machinery, or personal property. Collateral may include multiple items or types of items.

[0143] A collateral item refers to an asset, property, value, or other item defined as collateral for a loan or transaction. A set of collateral items can be defined, and collateral items can be substituted, removed, or added within the set. For example, collateral items can include, but are not limited to, cars, boats, airplanes, buildings, homes, real estate, undeveloped land, farms, crops, municipal facilities, warehouses, inventory, merchandise, securities, currency, tokens of value, tickets, cryptocurrency, consumables, food, beverages, precious metals, jewelry, gemstones, intellectual property, intellectual property rights, contractual rights, antiques, fixtures, furniture, equipment, tools, machinery, and personal property. When a set or multiple collateral items are defined, substituting, removing, or adding a collateral item effectively replaces, removes, or adds a collateral item to or from the set of collateral items. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, a collateral item or set of collateral items may also be used in combination with other terms of the agreement or loan, such as representations, warranties, indemnities, covenants, outstanding debt, fixed interest rates, variable interest rates, payment amounts, payment schedules, balloon payment schedules, collateral designations, collateral fungibility designations, pledges, personal guarantees, liens, terms, lien conditions, default conditions, and default consequences. In certain embodiments, a smart contract may calculate whether a borrower has met a condition or covenant, and if the borrower has not met such a condition or covenant, may activate an automated action, trigger another condition or provision that may affect the status, ownership, or transfer of a collateral item, or initiate the replacement, removal, or addition of a collateral item to the collateral set of the loan. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of this disclosure and knowledge of collateral items, can readily determine the purpose and use of collateral items in the various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein, including their replacement, removal, and addition.

[0144] While the specific example of loan collateral is described herein for purposes of illustration, any system having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, is specifically contemplated within the scope of this disclosure.

[0145] The term "smart contract service" (and similar terms) used herein should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, a smart contract service includes any service or application that manages smart contracts or smart lending contracts. For example, a smart contract service may specify the terms of a smart contract, such as in a rules database, or process the output from a set of evaluation services to allocate items of collateral sufficient to secure a loan. A smart contract service may automatically execute a set of rules or conditions embodying a smart contract, and the execution may be based on or utilize collected data. A smart contract service may automatically initiate a loan payment request, automatically initiate a foreclosure process, automatically initiate an action to claim replacement or backup collateral, automatically initiate an ownership transfer of collateral, automatically initiate an inspection process, automatically change payment or interest periods based on collateral, or configure a smart contract to automatically perform a loan-related action. The smart contract may specify at least one of loan terms, loan-related events, and loan-related activities. A smart contract may be a contract encoded as a computer protocol that may facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of the smart contract. A smart contract may or may not be one or more of partially or fully self-executing, or partially or fully self-enforcing.

[0146] A particular process may not be considered smart contract-related individually, but may be considered smart contract-related in the aggregate system. For example, automatically undertaking loan-related actions may not be smart contract-related in one instance, but may be governed by the terms of a smart contract in another instance. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of process systems, and any such process or system may be considered a smart contract or smart contract service herein, while in certain embodiments, a given service may not be considered a smart contract service herein.

[0147] Those skilled in the art, having the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems generally available to them, will be able to readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit their particular systems and how the processes and systems of the present disclosure may be combined to implement smart contract services and / or enhance the operation of the contemplated systems. Specific considerations that one skilled in the art may have when determining whether a contemplated system includes smart contract services or smart contracts and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the ability to automatically transfer ownership of collateral in response to an event; automated actions available when compliance (or lack of compliance) with covenants is found; collateral amenities for clustering, rebalancing, allocation, addition, substitution, and removal of items from collateral; modification parameters of aspects of a loan in response to an event (e.g., timing, complexity, suitability for loan type, etc.); the complexity of the system's loan terms, including the benefit of quickly determining and / or predicting changes in entities related to the loan (e.g., collateral, financial status of the parties, collateral offsets, and industries related to the parties); the suitability of the automated generation and / or execution of terms for the types of loans, parties, and / or industries contemplated by the system; While particular examples of smart contract services and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0148] The term IoT system (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, an IoT system includes any system of uniquely identified and interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, sensors, and objects that can transfer data over a network without intervention. While particular components may not individually be considered an IoT system, in the aggregate, the system may be considered, for example, a single networked IoT system.

[0149] A sensor, smart speaker, and / or medical device may be part of a larger system without being an IoT system, and / or may be integrated with many other similar components and be considered an IoT system and / or part of an IoT system. In certain embodiments, a system may be considered an IoT system for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, a smart speaker may be considered part of an IoT system for certain operations, such as providing surround sound, but not for other operations, such as streaming content directly from a single local network source. Furthermore, in certain embodiments, other similar-looking systems may be distinguished when determining whether and / or what type of IoT system such a system is an IoT system. For example, one group of medical devices may not be sharing data to an aggregated HER database at a given time, while another group of medical devices may be sharing data to an aggregated HER for clinical research purposes; accordingly, one group of medical devices may be an IoT system, while the other group of medical devices may not. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of systems, any of which may be considered an IoT system herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered an IoT system herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to him or her, will be able to readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system, how to combine processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system, and what circuits, controllers, and / or devices comprise the IoT components of the contemplated system.Particular considerations that one of ordinary skill in the art would take into account when determining whether a contemplated system is an IoT system and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance the contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the system's transmission environment (e.g., low power, availability of device-to-device networking), shared data storage for devices, establishment of geofences by devices, service as blockchain nodes, ability to monitor assets, collateral, or entities, relaying data between devices, ability to aggregate data from multiple sensors or monitoring devices, etc. While specific examples of IoT systems and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system having the benefit of the disclosure herein and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0150] The term "data collection service" (and similar terms) used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, a data collection service includes any service that collects data or information, including any circuit, controller, device, or application that can store, transmit, transfer, share, process, organize, compare, report, and / or aggregate the data. A data collection service may include and / or communicate with a data collection device (e.g., a sensor). A data collection service may monitor an entity to collect data or information. A data collection service may be event-driven, run periodically, or obtain data from an application at a specific point during the application's execution. A particular process may not be considered a data collection service individually, but may be considered a data collection service in an aggregated system. For example, a network-attached storage device may be a component of a data collection service in one example, but may have standalone functionality in another example. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of process systems, and such processes or systems may be considered data collection services herein. While in certain embodiments, a given service may not be considered a data collection service herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to him or her, will be able to readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and how processes and systems from the present disclosure may be combined to perform data collection services and / or enhance the operation of the contemplated systems.Particular considerations that one of ordinary skill in the art would take into account when determining whether a contemplated system is a data collection service and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure would benefit a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the ability to change business rules on the fly to modify data collection protocols, performing real-time monitoring of events, connecting data collection devices to a monitoring infrastructure, executing computer-readable instructions that cause a processor to record or track events, using automated inspection systems, sales occurring at a networked point of sale, the need for data from one or more distributed sensors or cameras, etc. While specific examples of data collection services and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0151] The term "data integration service" (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, a data integration service includes any service that integrates data or information, including any device or application that can extract, transform, load, normalize, compress, decompress, encode, decode, and otherwise process data packets, signals, and other information. A data integration service may monitor entities, such as to identify data or information for integration. A data integration service may integrate data regardless of the required frequencies, communication protocols, or business rules required for complex integration patterns. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of process systems, and such processes or systems may be considered data integration services herein, while in certain embodiments, a given service may not be considered a data integration service herein. With the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated system typically available to that person, one of ordinary skill in the art can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and how processes and systems from the present disclosure may be combined to implement a data integration service and / or enhance the operation of the contemplated system. Particular considerations that one of ordinary skill in the art should take into account when determining whether a contemplated system is a data integration service and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure would benefit the contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the ability to modify business rules on the fly and change data integration protocols, communication with third-party databases to bring in data to be integrated, synchronization of data across disparate platforms, connection to a central data warehouse, data storage, processing, and / or communication capacity distributed across the system, connection of separate automated workflows, etc. While specific examples of data integration services and considerations are described herein for purposes of illustration, any system benefiting from the disclosure herein and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0152] The term "computational service" (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, a computational service may be included as part of one or more services, platforms, or microservices, such as blockchain services, data collection services, data integration services, evaluation services, smart contract services, data monitoring services, data mining, and / or any service that facilitates the collection, access, processing, transformation, analysis, storage, visualization, or sharing of data. Certain processes may not be considered computational services. For example, a process may not be considered a computational service depending on the type of rules governing the service, the end product of the service, or the intent of the service. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of process systems, and such processes or systems may be considered computational services herein. In certain embodiments, a given service may not be considered a computational service herein. A person skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to that person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and how processes and systems from the present disclosure can be combined to implement one or more computational services and / or enhance the operation of the contemplated system. Particular considerations for a person skilled in the art in determining whether a contemplated system is a computational service and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance the contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the following: agreement-based access to services; brokering exchanges between different services; providing on-demand computational power for web services; achieving one or more of monitoring, collecting, accessing, processing, transforming, analyzing, storing, integrating, visualizing, mining, or sharing data; etc. While specific examples of computational services and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any system benefiting from the disclosure herein and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0153] The term sensor as used herein should be understood broadly. [0176] The term loan-related action (and other related terms, such as loan-related event and loan-related activity) is utilized herein and may be broadly understood to describe one or more actions, events, or activities related to a transaction that includes a loan within the transaction. Actions, events, or activities may occur in many different loan contexts, such as, without limitation, lending, refinancing, consolidation, factoring, brokering, foreclosure, administration, negotiation, collection, procurement, enforcement, and data processing (e.g., data collection), or combinations thereof. A loan-related action may be used in its noun form (e.g., a notice of default is communicated to a borrower in a formal notice; this is considered a loan-related action). A loan-related action, event, or activity may refer to a single instance or may characterize a group of actions, events, or activities. For example, a single action, such as providing a specific notice to a borrower whose payment is past due, may be considered a loan-related action. Similarly, a series of actions related to a default from start to finish may also be considered a single loan-related action. Without limitation, appraisals, inspections, funding, and recording may also be considered loan-related actions that have occurred and events related to the loan. Similarly, activities that complete these actions may also be considered loan-related activities (e.g., appraisals, inspections, funding, recording, etc.) without limitation. In particular embodiments, a smart contract or robotic process automation system may process appropriate tasks to perform and complete loan-related actions, events, or activities on behalf of one or more of the parties. In some cases, a smart contract or robotic process automation system may not complete a loan-related action, which, depending on such outcome, may enable automated actions or trigger other conditions or clauses. One of ordinary skill in the art, having the benefit of this disclosure and knowledge of loan-related actions, events, and activities, can readily determine the purpose and use of this term in its various forms and embodiments as described throughout this disclosure.

[0177] Additionally, the terms "loan-related actions," "events," and "activities" herein may be used more specifically to describe loan call situations. A loan call is an action by which a lender can request repayment of a loan, typically triggered by some other condition or term, such as a late payment. For example, a loan-related action may occur if a borrower misses three consecutive payments, causing serious delinquency in the loan payment schedule and resulting in the loan going into default. In such a scenario, a lender may initiate a loan call-related action to protect its rights. In such a scenario, perhaps the borrower paying a late payment or penalty, would also be considered a loan-related action for a loan call. In some circumstances, a smart contract or robotic process automation system may initiate, manage, or process loan-related actions for a loan call, including, but not limited to, providing notifications, investigating and collecting payment history, or other tasks performed as part of a loan call. Those skilled in the art, having the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of loan-related actions for calling a loan, or other forms of this term and its various forms, can readily determine the purpose and use of this term in the context of an event or other various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0178] Also, as described herein, the terms loan-related actions, events, and activities may be used to more specifically describe circumstances related to loan payments. Typically, in transactions involving loans, including but not limited to, the loan is repaid according to a payment schedule. Various actions may occur to provide the borrower with information to repay the loan and for the lender to receive the loan payment. For example, when a borrower makes a loan payment, loan-related actions for the loan payment may occur. Such a payment may include, but is not limited to, several actions occurring in connection with the loan payment, such as the payment being applied to the lender, a loan ledger or accounting reflecting that the payment has been made, a receipt being provided to the borrower for the payment made, and the borrower being requested to make the next payment. In some circumstances, a smart contract or robotic process automation system may initiate, manage, or process such loan-related actions for the loan payment, which may include, but are not limited to, providing notifications to the lender, researching and collecting payment history, providing receipts to the borrower, providing notice of the borrower's required next payment, or other actions related to the loan payment. One of ordinary skill in the art, having the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of loan-related actions for disbursement of a loan, or other forms of this term and its various forms, can readily determine the purpose and use of this term in the context of an event or other various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0179] As described herein, the terms actions, events, and activities related to a loan can also be used to more specifically describe the context of a payment schedule or an alternative payment schedule. Typically, but not exclusively, in transactions involving loans, the loan is repaid on a payment schedule that may change over time. Alternatively, such a payment schedule may establish and agree upon an alternative payment schedule. For a lender or borrower, various actions may occur related to a payment schedule or an alternative payment schedule, such as: the amount of the payment, the due date of the payment, any penalties or fees for late payments, or other terms. For example, if a borrower makes an early payment on a loan, a loan-related action may occur related to the loan payment schedule and alternative payment schedule. In this case, the payment would likely be applied to principal, and regular payments would continue to be made. Without limitation, loan-related actions for payment schedules and alternative payment schedules may consist of several actions that may occur with respect to the payment of a loan, such as a payment being submitted to a lender, a loan ledger or accounting reflecting that a payment has been made, a receipt being provided to the borrower for the payment made, a calculation of whether any fees are attached or paid, and a next payment being requested from the borrower. In certain embodiments, an activity that determines a payment schedule or an alternative payment schedule may be a loan-related action, event, or activity. In certain embodiments, an activity that communicates a payment schedule or an alternative payment schedule (e.g., to a borrower, a lender, or a third party) may be a loan-related action, event, or activity. In some circumstances, smart contract circuitry or a robotic process automation system may initiate, manage, or process such loan-related actions for payment schedules and alternative payment schedules, which may include, but are not limited to, providing notices to lenders, researching and collecting payment history, providing receipts to borrowers, calculating the next payment due date, calculating the final payment amount and due date, providing notice of the next payment due date to borrowers, determining a payment schedule or alternative payment schedule, communicating a payment schedule or alternative payment schedule, or other actions related to paying a loan. Those skilled in the art, having the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledgeable regarding loan-related actions for payment schedules and alternative payment schedules, or other forms of this term and its various forms, can readily determine the purpose and use of this term in the events disclosed herein or in various other embodiments and contexts.

[0180] As used herein, the term regulatory notice requirement (and its derivatives) is broadly understood to refer to an obligation or condition to communicate a notice or message to another party or entity. A regulatory notice requirement may be required under one or more triggering conditions or may be generally required. For example, a lender may have a regulatory notice requirement to provide a borrower with notice of a loan default, a loan interest rate change, or other notice related to the transaction or loan. The regulatory aspect of the term may result from jurisdiction-specific laws, rules, or codes that mandate specific communication obligations. In certain embodiments, a policy directive may be treated as a regulatory notice requirement, such as when a lender has an internal notice policy that may exceed the regulatory requirements of one or more jurisdictions related to the transaction. The notice aspect generally relates to formal communication and may take various forms, but may specifically specify a particular form of notice (e.g., certified mail, facsimile, email transmission, other physical or electronic form), the content of the notice, and / or timing requirements related to the notice. The requirement aspect relates to the need for a party to complete its obligations to comply with a law, regulation, code, policy, standard practice, or the terms of a contract or loan. In certain embodiments, a smart contract can handle or trigger regulatory notification requirements and provide appropriate notice to the borrower. This may be based on at least one of the following: the lender, the borrower, the funds provided via the loan, the repayment of the loan, the collateral for the loan, or any other location specified in the terms of the loan, transaction, or contract. If a party or entity fails to meet such regulatory notification requirements, certain changes to the rights or obligations between the parties may be triggered. For example, if a lender provides a notice of non-compliance to a borrower, automated actions or triggers based on the terms of the loan and / or based on external information (e.g., regulatory prescriptions, the lender's internal policies, etc.) may be executed by smart contract circuitry and / or robotic process automation systems. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and commonly available knowledge of the contemplated systems, can readily determine the purpose and use of regulatory notification requirements in the various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0181] Additionally, the term "regulatory notification requirement" may be used herein to describe an obligation or condition to communicate a notice or message to another party or entity based on a general or specific policy rather than on the laws, rules, or codes of a specific jurisdiction or location (as in jurisdiction-specific regulatory notification requirements). Regulatory notification requirements may be prudent or suggestive rather than mandatory or required, subject to one or more triggering or generally required conditions. For example, a lender may have a policy-based regulatory notification requirement to notify borrowers of a new informational website, future changes in loan interest rates, or other transaction- or loan-related notices that are advisory or helpful but not mandatory (although mandatory notices may also be policy-based). Thus, in the policy-based use of the term "regulatory notification requirement," smart contract circuitry may process or trigger the regulatory notification requirement and provide appropriate notices to borrowers that may or may not necessarily be required by law, rule, or code. The basis for the notice or communication may be prudence, courtesy, custom, or obligation.

[0182] The term regulatory notice may also be used to describe an obligation or condition to communicate a notice or message to another party or entity, such as a lender or borrower. Regulatory notices may be specifically directed to any party or entity, or to a group of parties or entities. For example, it may be desirable or necessary to provide a particular notice or communication to a borrower, such as when the borrower defaults on a loan payment. Such regulatory notices directed to specific users, such as lenders or borrowers, may occur as a result of jurisdiction-specific or policy-based regulatory notice requirements. Thus, in some circumstances, a smart contract may process or trigger a regulatory notice to provide appropriate notice to a specific party, such as a borrower. This notice may or may not necessarily be required by law, regulation, or code, but may instead be provided based on prudence, courtesy, or custom. Failure of a party or entity to meet such regulatory notice requirements with respect to a particular party may create circumstances in which certain rights may be waived by one or more parties or entities, may enable automated action, or may trigger other conditions or clauses. One of ordinary skill in the art, having the benefit of this disclosure and generally available knowledge of the contemplated systems, will be readily able to determine the purpose and use of regulatory notification requirements based on the various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0183] As used herein, the term regulatory foreclosure requirement (and its derivatives) is broadly understood to refer to obligations or conditions that may trigger a loan default, foreclosure or repossession of collateral, or other related foreclosure action. A regulatory foreclosure requirement may be required by one or more triggering conditions or generally required conditions. For example, a lender may have a regulatory foreclosure requirement that provides a borrower with a notice of loan default or other notice related to a loan default prior to foreclosure. The regulatory aspect of the term may result from jurisdiction-specific laws, rules, or regulations that require specific communication obligations. The foreclosure aspect generally relates to the specific remedies of foreclosure or repossession of collateral and loan default, which may take many different forms and may be specified in the terms of the loan. The requirement aspect relates to the need for a party to complete its obligations in order to comply with or fulfill the terms of a law, rule, code, or contract or loan. In certain embodiments, smart contract circuitry can process or trigger a regulatory foreclosure requirement and process the appropriate tasks related to such foreclosure action. This may be based on the jurisdictional location of at least one of the lender, borrower, funds provided through the loan, repayment of the loan, and collateral for the loan, or other location specified by the terms of the loan, transaction, or agreement. If a party or entity fails to meet such regulatory foreclosure requirements, certain rights may be waived by the party or entity (e.g., a lender), or failure to comply with such regulatory notice requirements may enable automated action or trigger other conditions or clauses. Those skilled in the art, with the benefit of this disclosure and generally available knowledge of the contemplated systems, will be able to readily determine the purpose and use of regulatory foreclosure requirements in the various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0184] The term regulatory foreclosure requirement may also be used to refer to or be used to refer to an obligation to cause a loan default, foreclosure or repossession of collateral, or other related foreclosure action. It may be based on a general or specific policy rather than on the laws, regulations, or codes of a particular jurisdiction or location (as in jurisdiction-specific regulatory foreclosure requirements). A regulatory foreclosure requirement may be prudent, suggested, or generally required, rather than an obligation or requirement, under one or more triggering conditions. For example, a lender may have a policy-based regulatory foreclosure requirement to provide a borrower with a notice of loan default or to provide other notices related to the transaction or loan that are advisory or helpful, but not mandatory (although mandatory notices may also be policy-based). Thus, in a policy-based use of the term regulatory foreclosure requirement, a smart contract may process or trigger a regulatory foreclosure requirement and provide appropriate notices to the borrower, even though they may not necessarily be required by law, regulation, or code. The basis for notice or communication may be prudence, courtesy, custom, industry practice, or obligation.

[0185] Additionally, the term regulatory foreclosure requirements may be used herein to refer to obligations or conditions to be performed with respect to particular users, such as lenders or borrowers. Regulatory notices may be specifically directed to any party or entity, or to a group of parties or entities. For example, it may be desirable or necessary to provide a particular notice or communication to a borrower, such as when a borrower defaults as a result of failing to make a scheduled loan payment. As such, such regulatory foreclosure requirements may be directed to particular users, such as lenders or borrowers, and may be the result of jurisdiction-specific or policy-based regulatory foreclosure requirements. For example, foreclosure requirements may relate to particular entities involved in a transaction (e.g., a current borrower receives unique treatment because they have been a customer for 30 years) or classes of entities (e.g., a “preferred” borrower or a “first-time defaulter”). Thus, in some circumstances, smart contract circuitry may process or trigger obligations or actions that must be taken pursuant to a foreclosure, actions that may or may not be dictated by a particular party, such as a lender or borrower, or that are necessarily required by law, regulation, or code, but may otherwise be provided for out of prudence, courtesy, or custom. In certain embodiments, obligations or conditions to be performed with respect to a particular user may form part of a contract or otherwise be known to the particular user to whom it applies (e.g., as in the following cases: Also, in some embodiments, obligations or conditions to be performed with respect to a particular user may not be known to the particular user to whom it applies (e.g., a bank may have policies relating to a class of users to which a particular user belongs, but the particular user is unaware of that class).

[0186] As used herein, value, valuation, valuation model (and similar terms) should be understood broadly to describe approaches to evaluating and determining the estimated value of collateral. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, valuation models may be used in combination with collateral (e.g., collateralized property), artificial intelligence services (e.g., to improve valuation models), data collection and monitoring services (e.g., to set valuations), valuation services (e.g., processes to inform, use, and / or improve valuation models), and / or results related to transactions of collateral (e.g., as a basis for improving valuation models). A "jurisdiction-specific valuation model" may also refer to a valuation model used in a particular geographic / jurisdiction or region, where the jurisdiction may be specific to the lender, borrower, delivery of funds, loan disbursement, or jurisdiction of the collateral for the loan, or a combination thereof. In certain embodiments, a jurisdiction-specific valuation model considers the impact of jurisdiction on the valuation of the collateral. This may include, at a minimum, the rights and obligations of borrowers and lenders in the relevant jurisdictions, the impact of jurisdiction on the ability to transfer, import, export, substitute, and / or liquidate collateral, the impact of jurisdiction on the timing between default and foreclosure or recovery of collateral, and / or the impact of jurisdiction on the volatility and / or sensitivity of collateral valuation. In certain embodiments, a geographic location-specific valuation model considers the impact of geographic location on the valuation of collateral. This may include a similar list of jurisdictional effects (although jurisdictional location may differ from geographic location), but may also include additional effects such as weather-related effects, the collateral's distance from monitoring, maintenance, or foreclosure services, and / or the proximity of risk phenomena (e.g., faults, industrial areas, nuclear power plants, etc.). The valuation model may utilize valuations of offsetting collateral (e.g., general values such as similar items of the collateral, market values of similar or forgivable collateral, and / or values of items that correlate to the value of the collateral) as part of the valuation of the collateral. In certain embodiments, the artificial intelligence circuitry includes one or more machine learning and / or artificial intelligence algorithms, including utilizing historical information across multiple transactions involving similar or offsetting collateral to improve the valuation model, and / or utilizing outcome information from the same transaction or other transactions (e.g., when a loan transaction is successfully or unsuccessfully completed and / or in response to a collateral foreclosure or liquidation event indicating an actual collateral valuation decision) to iteratively improve the valuation model. In certain embodiments, the artificial intelligence circuitry is trained through interaction with a collateral valuation dataset, e.g., previously determined valuations, and / or a trainer (e.g., human, accounting valuation, and / or other valuation data). In certain embodiments, the valuation model and / or parameters of the valuation model (e.g., assumptions, calibration values, etc.) may be determined and / or negotiated as part of the terms of the transaction (e.g., loan, set of loans, and / or subset of set of loans). One skilled in the art, with the benefit of this disclosure and commonly available knowledge of the contemplated systems, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular application of a valuation model and how to select or combine valuation models to implement an embodiment of the valuation model. Particular considerations for a person skilled in the art in selecting an appropriate valuation model or for an embodiment of the present disclosure include, but are not limited to, the following: legal considerations of the valuation model taking into account the jurisdiction of the collateral, available data for a given collateral, the expected transaction / loan type, the specific collateral type, the loan-to-value ratio, the collateral-to-loan ratio, the total transaction / loan amount, the borrower's credit score, the type of loan and / or related industry accounting practices, uncertainties related to any of the above, and / or sensitivities related to any of the above. While specific examples of valuation models and considerations are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment having the benefit of this disclosure, and any considerations understood by one skilled in the art having the benefit of this disclosure, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0187] As used herein, the term "market value data" or "market information" (and other forms or variations) is broadly understood to refer to data or information related to the valuation of real estate, assets, collateral, or other items of value that may be used as the subject of a loan, security, or transaction. Market value data or market information may change from time to time and may be estimated, calculated, objectively, or subjectively determined from a variety of sources. Market value data or market information may relate directly to the collateral item or to offset collateral items. Market value data or market information may include financial data, market valuations, product valuations, customer data, market research to understand customer needs and preferences, competitive information (e.g., competitors and suppliers), entity sales, transactions, customer acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, brand awareness, and churn rates. The term may occur in many different contexts of contracts and loans, including, but not limited to, lending, refinancing, consolidation, factoring, brokerage, foreclosure, and data processing (e.g., data collection), as well as combinations thereof. Market value data or market information may be used as a noun to identify a single number or multiple numbers or data. For example, without limitation, market value data or market information may be used by a lender to determine whether a property or asset serves as collateral for a secured loan, or alternatively, in determining foreclosure if the loan defaults. Market value data or market information may also be used to determine a loan-to-value figure or calculation. In certain embodiments, a collection service, smart contract circuitry, and / or robotic process automation system may estimate or calculate market value data or market information from one or more sources of data or information. In some cases, the value or market information of the market data may enable automated actions or trigger other conditions or clauses depending on the data / information contained therein. Those skilled in the art, having the benefit of this disclosure and commonly available knowledge of the contemplated system and relevant market information available, will be able to readily determine the purpose and use of this term in the various forms, embodiments, and contexts disclosed herein.

[0188] As used herein, terms such as similar collateral, similar to collateral, and offsetting collateral are broadly understood to describe property, assets, or items of value that may be similar in nature to collateral (e.g., items of value held as security) in a loan or other transaction. Similar collateral refers to property, assets, collateral, or other items of value that are aggregated, substituted, or otherwise referenced with other collateral. This may be expressed in terms of common attributes such as the history of the collateral, ownership of the collateral, custodianship of the collateral, security of the collateral, owner status of the collateral, liens on the collateral, storage status of the collateral, geographic location of the collateral, or jurisdictional location of the collateral. In certain embodiments, offsetting collateral refers to items that are correlated in value with the collateral item. For example, offsetting collateral may exhibit similar price fluctuations, volatility, storage requirements, etc., as the collateral item. In some embodiments, similar collateral may be aggregated to form a larger security interest and serve as collateral for an additional loan, distribution, or transaction. In certain embodiments, offsetting collateral may be used to inform the valuation of the collateral. In certain embodiments, the smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation system may estimate or calculate values, data, or information related to similar collateral, or perform functions related to the aggregation of similar collateral. One of ordinary skill in the art, given the benefit of this disclosure and with commonly available knowledge of the contemplated systems, can readily determine the purpose and use of similar collateral, offsetting collateral, or related terms as they relate to collateral in the various forms, embodiments, and contexts disclosed herein.

[0189] As used herein, the term restructuring (and other forms such as restructuring) is broadly understood to mean modifying the terms, conditions, collateral, or other considerations affecting a loan or transaction. Restructuring can be successful when the parties adopt modified terms, or unsuccessful when no modifications or restructuring takes place. Restructuring can occur at various stages of a contract or loan, including, but not limited to, application, lending, refinancing, collection, consolidation, factoring, brokerage, and foreclosure. Debt restructuring also means that debt owed to one party is modified in terms of timing, amount, collateral, or other terms. For example, a borrower may restructure a loan to address a changing financial situation, or a lender may offer a debt restructuring to a borrower for its own needs or prudence. In certain embodiments, the smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation system may automatically or manually restructure debt based on monitored conditions, generate options for restructuring debt, manage the process of negotiating or executing debt restructurings, or take other actions related to restructuring or amending the terms of a loan or transaction. One of ordinary skill in the art, given the benefit of this disclosure and with generally available knowledge of the contemplated systems, can readily determine the purpose and use of this term in the various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein, whether or not in the context of debt.

[0190] As used herein, the terms social network data collection, social network monitoring service, and social network data collection and monitoring service (and various forms and derivatives thereof) may be broadly understood to refer to services related to obtaining, organizing, observing, and otherwise acting on data and information obtained from one or more social networks. Social network data collection and monitoring services may be part of a related service system or a standalone set of services. Social network data collection and monitoring services may be provided by, but are not limited to, a platform or system. Social network data collection and monitoring services may be used in a variety of contexts, including, but not limited to, lending, refinancing, negotiation, collection, consolidation, factoring, brokerage, foreclosure, and combinations thereof. Requests for social network data collection and monitoring may be requested by other services using configuration parameters, initiated automatically, or triggered to occur based on conditions or circumstances that occur. Successful negotiation may enable automated actions or trigger other conditions or clauses that are enforced by the smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation system. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of this disclosure and generally available knowledge of the contemplated systems, can readily determine the purpose and use of negotiation in the various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0193] Various forms of the term "negotiate" are more specifically utilized herein in verb form (e.g., "to negotiate") and noun form (e.g., "a negotiation") to describe the context of a mutual discussion leading to an outcome. For example, a robotic process automation system may negotiate terms on behalf of parties, which would be used as a verb clause. In another example, a robotic process automation system may negotiate terms for a loan modification, a consolidated offer, or other terms. As a noun clause, a negotiation (e.g., an event) may be performed by a robotic process automation system. Thus, in some circumstances, a smart contract circuit or robotic process automation system may negotiate terms (e.g., as a verb clause), or a description of doing so may be considered a negotiation (e.g., as a noun clause). Those skilled in the art, with the benefit of this disclosure and knowledge of negotiation and other forms of the word "negotiation," will be able to readily determine the purpose and use of this term in the various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0194] Various forms of the term "negotiate" may also be used to specifically refer to a mutually agreed-upon outcome, such as the completion of negotiations that result in a compromise or outcome. For example, a loan may be considered negotiated as a successful outcome of the parties reaching an agreement upon completion of negotiations, such as by a robotic process automation system. Thus, in some circumstances, a smart contract circuit or robotic process automation system may be negotiating a set of terms or to complete a negotiated loan. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of this disclosure and commonly available knowledge of the systems envisioned, can readily determine the purpose and use of this term as it relates to a mutually agreed-upon outcome upon the completion of negotiations in the various embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0195] Additionally, various forms of the term negotiate may be used to specifically characterize events such as negotiation events and events involving reaching mutually agreeable terms between parties. Events requiring agreement or compromise between parties may be considered, without limitation, negotiation events. For example, the process of reaching a mutually agreeable set of terms between parties during loan procurement may be considered a negotiation event. Thus, in some circumstances, smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation systems may respond to the communications, actions, or behavior of parties for a negotiation event.

[0196] As used herein, the term collection (and other forms such as collect or collecting) is broadly understood to refer to the acquisition of a tangible (e.g., physical item), intangible (e.g., data, license, or right), or monetary (e.g., payment) item or other obligation or asset from a source. Generally, the term may relate to the entire prospect of acquiring such an item, from early-stage related work to later-stage related work or full completion of the item's acquisition. Collection may result, but is not limited to, in the successful bidding of an item to a party, in the unsuccessful bidding of an item to a party or in the unsuccessful bidding of an item to a party, or in a combination thereof (e.g., if the item is bidding late or has other deficiencies). Collection may occur in various contexts of a contract or loan, including, but not limited to, lending, refinancing, consolidation, factoring, brokerage, foreclosure, and data processing (e.g., data collection). Collect may be used as a noun (e.g., when referring to or characterizing an event, such as data collection or collection of overdue fees), as a noun when referring to an assortment of items (e.g., when referring to several items in a transaction, such as collection of collateral for a loan), or as a verb (e.g., when collecting payment from a borrower). For example, a lender may collect overdue fees from a borrower via online payment or may successfully collect overdue fees obtained via a customer service call. In certain embodiments, smart contract circuitry or a robotic process automation system may perform collections on behalf of one or more of the parties and process appropriate tasks to complete or attempt collections for one or more items (e.g., overdue fees). In some cases, negotiations by a smart contract or robotic process automation system may not be completed or successful, and depending on such outcome, this may enable automated actions or trigger other conditions or clauses. Those skilled in the art, having the benefit of the disclosure herein and generally available knowledge of the contemplated systems, will be able to readily determine the purpose and use of collection in the various forms, embodiments, and contexts disclosed herein.

[0197] Additionally, various forms of the term "collection" are used herein more specifically as a noun to describe events or contexts such as collection events or collection payments. For example, a collection event may refer, without limitation, to contacting parties or other activities related to the acquisition of items in that activity. A collection payment may, for example, relate to payments made by a borrower that are acquired in the course of collection or through a lender's collections department. While not limited to overdue, delinquent, or defaulted loans, collection may also characterize an event, payment, or department, or other noun related to a transaction or loan, as a remedy for something that has become delinquent. Thus, in some circumstances, a smart contract circuit or robotic process automation system may collect payments or installments from a borrower, and the activity of doing so may be considered, without limitation, a collection event.

[0198] Additionally, various forms of the term collection may be utilized herein, more specifically as an adjective or other term to describe a litigation-related context, such as the outcome of a collection action (e.g., a lawsuit regarding loan arrears or missed payments). For example, the outcome of a collection action may relate to past due amounts owed by a borrower or other party, and collection efforts related to those past due amounts may be litigated by the party. Accordingly, in some circumstances, smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation systems may receive, determine, or otherwise manage the outcome of a collection action.

[0199] Additionally, the term collection in its various forms may be used more specifically herein as an adjective or the like to refer to a context relating to a collection action, such as a taking action (e.g., an action to induce the tender or taking of delinquent or defaulted payments on an obligation, such as a loan). The terms collection yield, collection financial yield, and / or collection financial yield may also be used. The result of such a collection action may or may not have a financial yield. For example, a collection action may result in the payment of one or more outstanding amounts on a loan, which may result in a financial harvest for another party, such as a lender. Thus, in some circumstances, smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation systems may render a financial yield from a collection action or otherwise manage or in some way assist in the financial yield of a collection action. In embodiments, a collection action may include the need for collection litigation.

[0200] Additionally, various forms of the term collection (e.g., collection ROI, ROI for collection, ROI for collection activity, collection activity ROI, etc.) may be used herein to more specifically describe contexts related to value-receiving activities, such as collection activities with a return on investment (ROI) (e.g., activities that induce or obtain delinquent or defaulted payments on loans or other debts). The results of such collection activities may or may not have an ROI, either for the collection activity itself (ROI for the collection activity) or for the broader loan or transaction that is the subject of the collection activity. For example, the ROI of a collection activity may be prudent or unwise with respect to defaulted loans, depending on whether an ROI is provided to a party, such as a lender. A predicted ROI for a collection may be estimated or calculated taking into account actual events that elapse. In some circumstances, smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation systems may, without limitation, render an estimated ROI for a collection activity or collection event, or calculate an ROI for the actual events that elapse in the collection activity or collection event. In an embodiment, such ROI, whether estimated or actual, may be a positive or negative numerical value.

[0201] Terms such as reputation, reputation measure, lender reputation, borrower reputation, and entity reputation may include commonly held, widely held beliefs, opinions, and / or perceptions about an individual, entity, collateral, etc. Reputation measures may be determined based on social data, including likes and dislikes, reviews of the entity or products and services offered by the entity, company or product rankings, and current and historical market and financial data (including prices, forecasts, buy / sell recommendations, financial news about the entity, competitors, and partners). Reputation may be cumulative, in that product reputation and the reputation of a company's leaders and lead scientists influence the overall reputation of the company. The reputation of institutions associated with the entity (e.g., schools attended by students) may influence the entity's reputation. In some situations, smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation systems may collect or begin to collect data related to the above to determine reputation measures or rankings. The reputation measures or rankings of entities may be used by smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation systems to decide whether to enter into a contract with the entity, determine loan terms, determine interest rates, etc. In particular embodiments, the reputation determination metric may determine a measure or ranking of an entity's reputation in relation to the outcome of one or more transactions (e.g., a comparison of "likes" in a particular social media dataset with outcome metrics such as successful payments, successful negotiation outcomes, the ability to liquidate particular types of collateral, etc.). One of ordinary skill in the art, given the benefit of this disclosure and generally available knowledge of the contemplated systems, will be readily able to determine the purpose and use of reputation, reputation measurements or rankings, and / or the use of reputation in negotiations, determining terms, deciding whether to proceed with a transaction, and various other embodiments and contexts disclosed herein.

[0202] The term collection (e.g., collector) in its various forms may also be used more specifically herein to describe a party or entity that triggers, manages, or facilitates a collection action, collection event, or other collection-related context. A measure of reputation for a party, such as a collector, or in the context of a collection may be estimated or calculated using objective, subjective, or historical metrics or data. For example, a collector may be involved in a collection action, and the collector's reputation may be used to determine decisions, actions, or terms. Similarly, collection may also be used to describe objective, subjective, or historical metrics or data for measuring the reputation of a party, such as a lender, borrower, or debtor. In some circumstances, smart contract circuitry or robotic process automation systems may render collections or measures or implement collectors within the context of a transaction or loan.

[0203] Additionally, the terms collection and data collection, including various forms of collection and data collection systems, may be used more specifically herein to describe, without limitation, contexts related to the acquisition, organization, processing, or combinations thereof of data. The results of such data collection may relate to the collection of items (e.g., physically or logically grouping items) or to action taken due to delinquency (e.g., collecting collateral, debt, etc.), or may not relate at all. For example, data collection may be performed by a data collection system, where data is acquired, organized, or processed for prospective or actual transaction or loan decision-making, monitoring, or other purposes. In some circumstances, but not limited to, smart contracts or robotic process automation systems may incorporate data collection or data collection systems to perform some or all of the tasks of data collection. Those skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and commonly available knowledge of the contemplated systems, can readily determine and distinguish the purpose and use of collection in the context of data or information as used herein.

[0204] As used herein, terms such as refinancing, refinancing activity(ies), refinancing interaction, refinancing outcome, and similar terms should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, refinancing and refinancing activity include replacing an existing mortgage, loan, bond, debt transaction, or the like with a new mortgage, loan, bond, or debt transaction that pays off or terminates the previous financial arrangement. In certain embodiments, any change to the terms of a loan and / or any material change to the terms of a loan may be considered a refinancing activity. In certain embodiments, refinancing activity only considers changes to a loan agreement that result in a different financial outcome of the loan agreement. Typically, the new loan should be favorable to the borrower or issuer and / or mutually agreeable (e.g., improving the raw financial outcome of one and improving the security or other outcome of the other). Refinancing may be done to lower interest rates, lower periodic payments, change the loan term, change the collateral associated with the loan, consolidate debt into a single loan, restructure debt, change the type of loan (e.g., from an adjustable rate to a fixed rate), pay off loans as they come due, expand loans in response to improved credit scores, and / or in response to changes in market conditions (e.g., interest rates, collateral value, etc.).

[0205] Refinancing activities include initiating a refinancing offer, initiating a refinancing request, setting a refinancing interest rate, setting a refinancing payment schedule, setting a refinance balance according to the amount or terms of the refinanced loan, setting up collateral for the refinance, including changing the collateral used, changing the terms of the collateral, changing the amount of the collateral, etc., and managing the use of the refinance proceeds. Attaching liens to different items of collateral as necessary if the terms are changed as part of the refinance, verifying ownership of new or existing items of collateral used to secure the refinanced loan, managing the ownership verification process for new or existing items of collateral used to secure the refinanced loan, preparing a loan refinancing application, negotiating the terms of the refinanced loan, and completing the refinance. Refinancing and refinancing activities may also be disclosed in the context of a data collection and monitoring service that collects a training set of interactions between entities for a series of loan refinancing activities. Refinancing and refinancing activities may also be disclosed in the context of an artificial intelligence system that is trained using the collected training set of interactions, including both refinancing activities and outcomes. The trained artificial intelligence may then be used to recommend refinancing activities, evaluate refinancing activities, predict likely outcomes of refinancing activities, etc. Refinancing and refinancing activities may be disclosed in the context of a smart contract system that can automate a subset of refinancing interactions and activities. In one example, the smart contract system may automatically adjust the interest rate of a loan based on information collected via at least one of an Internet of Things system, a crowdsourcing system, a set of social network analysis services, and a set of data collection and monitoring services. The interest rate may be adjusted based on rules, thresholds, and model parameters that determine or recommend an interest rate for refinancing the loan based on interest rates available to the lender from secondary lenders, borrower risk factors (including predicted risk based on one or more predictive models using artificial intelligence), marketing factors (e.g., competitive interest rates offered by other lenders), etc. The outcomes and events of the refinancing activity may be recorded on a distributed ledger.Based on the results of the refinancing activity, the smart contract for the refinancing loan may be automatically reconfigured to define the terms of the new loan, such as the debt principal, the debt balance, the fixed interest rate, the variable interest rate, the payment amount, the payment schedule, the balloon payment schedule, etc. The terms of the new loan may be automatically reconfigured, such as the collateral designation, the collateral fungibility designation, the parties, guarantees, guarantors, collateral, personal guarantees, liens, duration, covenants, lien conditions, default conditions, and default consequences.

[0206] Those skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and commonly available knowledge of the contemplated systems, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure benefit from a particular application of refinancing activities, how to select or combine refinancing activities, how to implement a system, service, or circuit that automatically performs one or more (or all) aspects of a refinancing activity, etc. Selecting an appropriate training set of interactions for training an artificial intelligence to interpret, recommend, or predict the outcome of a particular refinancing activity, or particular considerations for an embodiment of the present disclosure, will be within the scope of the present disclosure. While specific examples of refinancing and refinancing activities are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment benefiting from the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by one skilled in the art with the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0207] As used herein, the terms consolidation, consolidation activity, loan consolidation, debt consolidation, consolidation plan, and similar terms should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, consolidation, consolidation activity(ies), loan consolidation, debt consolidation, and consolidation plan relate to using a single larger loan to repay multiple smaller loans and / or using one or more of one set of loans to repay at least a portion of one or more of a second set of loans. In embodiments, loan consolidation may be secured (i.e., backed by collateral) or unsecured. Loan consolidation may be undertaken to obtain a lower interest rate than one or more current loans, to reduce the total monthly loan payments, and / or to bring a debtor into compliance with the consolidated loan or the debtor's other obligations. Loans classified as consolidation candidates may be determined based on a model that processes attributes of the entities involved in a set of loans, such as the identity of the parties, interest rates, payment balances, payment tempo, payment schedule, loan type, collateral type, financial status of the parties, payment status, collateral status, and collateral value. Consolidation activities may include managing at least one of identifying loans from a set of candidate loans, preparing a consolidation offer, preparing a consolidation plan, preparing content to communicate the consolidation offer, scheduling the consolidation offer, communicating the consolidation offer, negotiating amendments to the consolidation offer, preparing a consolidation agreement, executing the consolidation agreement, amending collateral for the set of loans, processing application workflows for consolidation, managing inspections, managing appraisals, setting interest rates, postponing payment requirements, setting payment schedules, and executing the consolidation agreement. In embodiments, there may be systems, circuits, and / or services configured to create, configure (e.g., using one or more templates or libraries), modify, set, or otherwise process various rules, thresholds, conditional procedures, workflows, model parameters, etc., to determine or recommend consolidation actions or plans for a set of loan transactions or loans based on one or more events, conditions, states, actions, etc.In embodiments, the integration plan may be based on a variety of factors, such as the status of payments, the interest rates of the set of loans, prevailing interest rates in the platform market or external markets, the status of the borrowers of the set of loans, the status of the collateral or assets, risk factors of the borrowers, lenders, one or more guarantors, market risk factors, etc. Integration and integration activities may be disclosed in the context of a data collection and monitoring service that collects a training set of interactions between entities for a set of loan integration activities. Integration and integration activities may be disclosed in the context of an artificial intelligence system that is trained using the collected training set of interactions, including both integration activities and outcomes related to those activities. The trained artificial intelligence may then be used to recommend integration activities, evaluate integration activities, make predictions regarding the likely outcomes of integration activities, etc., based on models that include the status of the debt, the status of the collateral or assets used to secure or back the set of loans, the status of the business or operations (e.g., receivables, debt, etc.), the status of the parties (e.g., net worth, wealth, debt, location, other status, etc.), the behavior of the parties (e.g., behavior indicative of preferences, behavior indicative of debt preferences, etc.), etc. Debt restructuring, loan restructuring, and related restructuring activities may be disclosed in the context of a smart contract system that can automate a subset of restructuring interactions and activities. In embodiments, consolidation may include consolidating on the terms of a set of loans, selecting appropriate loans, establishing payment terms for the linked loans, establishing payoff plans for existing loans, communicating to facilitate the consolidation, etc.In embodiments, the smart contract's artificial intelligence may automatically recommend or set rules, thresholds, actions, parameters, etc. (optionally by learning to do so based on a training set of results over time), resulting in a recommended integration plan that may specify a course of actions necessary to achieve the integration recommendation or desired outcome (e.g., within a range of acceptable outcomes), which may be automated and may include conditional execution of steps based on monitored conditions and / or smart contract conditions, which steps may be created, configured, and / or described by the integration plan, resulting in the recommended integration plan. The consolidation plan may be determined and executed based on at least one of market factors (e.g., competitive interest rates offered by other lenders, value of collateral, etc.) and regulatory and / or compliance factors. Consolidation plans may be generated and / or executed for the creation of new consolidated loans, secondary loans related to consolidated loans, amendments to existing loans related to consolidation, modifications to consolidated loan terms, foreclosure situations (e.g., changing from secured to unsecured loan rates), bankruptcy or insolvency situations, situations involving market changes (e.g., changes in prevailing interest rates), etc.

[0208] Some activities related to loans, collateral, entities, etc. may apply to a wide variety of loans and may not explicitly apply to consolidation activities. Classification of an activity as a consolidation activity may be based on the context of the loan for which the activity is being performed. However, one of ordinary skill in the art, having the benefit of the disclosure herein and generally available knowledge of the contemplated systems, will be able to readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure benefit from a particular application of consolidation activities, how to select or combine consolidation activities, how to implement selected services, circuits, and / or systems described herein to perform a particular loan consolidation operation, etc. While specific examples of consolidation and consolidation activities are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment benefiting from the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0209] As used herein, terms such as loan factoring, loan transaction factoring, factor, loan interaction factoring, factored assets or a set of assets used in factoring, and similar terms should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, factoring may apply to the factoring of assets such as invoices, inventory, and accounts receivable, where the realizable value of the item lies in the future. For example, accounts receivable have higher value when payments are complete and there is a low risk of default. Inventory and work in progress (WIP) may have higher value as finished products rather than components. The term accounts receivable should be understood to encompass these terms and is not limiting. Factoring involves selling accounts receivable at a discount to their current value (often cash). Factoring also includes using accounts receivable as collateral for a short-term loan. In either case, the value of the accounts receivable or invoice may be discounted for several reasons, such as the future value of money and the term of the accounts receivable (e.g., 30-day net payment vs. 1-year net payment). Discounts can be given for several reasons, including the tenor of the receivables (e.g., 30-day net payment vs. 90-day net payment), the degree of risk of default on the receivables, the status of the receivables, the status of work in progress, the status of inventory, the status of delivery / shipment, the financial status of the party owed the receivables, the status of shipping / billing, and the status of payment. payment status, borrower status, inventory status, risk factors of the borrower, lender and one or more guarantors, market risk factors, debt status (whether there are other liens on receivables or inventory payables), status of secured assets (e.g., inventory status (e.g., is inventory current or stale, are invoices past due), business and management status, counterparty status (e.g., net worth, assets, liabilities, location), counterparty behavior (e.g., behavior indicating preferences, behavior indicating negotiating style), current interest rates, current regulatory and compliance issues relating to inventory and receivables (e.g., whether inventory is factored or not), market risk factors.Factoring inventory involves many factors, including risk predictions based on one or more predictive models using artificial intelligence, such as whether the intended product has proper approvals and legal action against the borrower. Factoring refers to an individual, company, organization, or group of individuals agreeing to provide value for the acquisition of invoices through the sale or for a loan secured by the invoice. Factoring involves identifying candidates (lenders and borrowers) for factoring, creating a factoring plan specifying the proposed receivables (all, partial, or only those that meet certain conditions) and the proposed discount rate, communicating the plan to candidates, making and receiving offers, verifying the quality of the receivables, and setting terms for handling the receivables over the life of the loan. While specific examples of factoring and factoring activities are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment having the benefit of this disclosure, and any considerations understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of this disclosure, are specifically contemplated within the scope of this disclosure.

[0210] As used herein, the terms mortgage, mortgage brokerage, mortgage securing, mortgage loan activities, and / or mortgage-related activities are to be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, a mortgage is an exchange in which a borrower provides an item of value, typically ownership of real estate or a lien on ownership, to a lender as collateral in exchange for money or another item of value, typically with interest. This exchange includes a condition that ownership reverts to the borrower and / or the lien on the real estate is removed upon repayment of the loan. Mortgage brokerage may include identifying potential properties, lenders, and other loan parties, and negotiating and arranging the terms of the mortgage. Certain components and activities may not be considered individually related to mortgage loans, but are considered related when used in connection with mortgage loans, when acting on mortgage loans, when relating to mortgage entities or parties, etc. For example, brokering may apply to various loan offerings, including unsecured loans, outright sales of real estate, etc. Mortgage activities and mortgage interactions include mortgage marketing activities, identifying potential borrowers, identifying mortgaged properties, identifying collateral properties for mortgages, borrower qualification, title searches and / or title confirmations for mortgaged properties, mortgaged property appraisals, property inspections, or property valuations, income verification, borrower demographic analysis, identifying capital providers, determining available interest rates, determining available payment terms, analyzing existing mortgages, analyzing existing mortgage terms compared to new mortgage terms, completing the application workflow (e.g., initiating next steps to advance the application as needed), extracting application fields, preparing the mortgage agreement, completing the mortgage agreement schedule, negotiating mortgage terms with the capital provider, negotiating mortgage terms with the borrower, transferring ownership, granting a lien on the mortgaged property, and executing the mortgage agreement, and similar terms as used herein should be understood broadly. While specific examples of mortgage loans and mortgage brokerage are set forth herein for purposes of illustration, any embodiment, and any considerations that would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, is specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0211] As used herein, the terms debt management, debt transactions, debt actions, debt terms, debt syndication, debt consolidation, and / or debt portfolio should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, debt includes anything of value owed to another party. A loan typically results in a borrower having a liability (e.g., money that must be repaid according to the terms of the loan, which may include interest). Debt consolidation involves using a new single loan to repay multiple loans (or various debt structuring arrangements, as described herein and understood by those skilled in the art). The new loan often may have better terms or a lower interest rate. A debt portfolio includes many debt fragments or groups with different characteristics, including term, risk, etc. Managing a debt portfolio may include decisions regarding the quantity and quality of debt held and how best to balance various debts to achieve a desired risk / return: investment policy, risk-return ratio for individual debts or debt groups. Debt may also be syndicated, in which multiple lenders fund a single loan (or multiple loans) to a borrower. Debt portfolios may also be sold to third parties (e.g., at a discount). Debt compliance involves various measures taken to ensure debt repayment. Demonstrating compliance may include documentation of actions taken to repay debt.

[0212] Debt-related transactions and actions may include offering debt, underwriting debt, setting interest rates, deferring payment requirements, modifying interest rates, verifying title, administering inspections, recording changes in ownership, valuing assets, calling loans, closing transactions, setting transaction terms, providing required notices, attaching a set of assets, modifying terms, rating entities, syndicating debt, and / or consolidating debt. Debt terms may include, for example, outstanding debt, principal, fixed interest rate, floating interest rate, payment amounts, payment schedule, balloon payment schedule, identification of assets supporting the debt, identification of asset fungibility, parties, issuer, purchaser, guarantees, guarantors, collateral, personal guarantees, liens, duration, covenants, attachment conditions, conditions of default, and consequences of default. While specific examples of debt management and debt management activities are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment, and any considerations that would be understood by a person skilled in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, is specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0213] As used herein, terms such as condition, condition classification, classification model, condition management, and similar terms should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, conditions, condition classification, classification model, and condition management include classifying or determining conditions, such as those of assets, issuers, borrowers, loans, obligations, bonds, regulatory status, and contractually specified and monitored terms or conditions for a bond, loan, or obligation transaction. Based on the classified status of an asset, condition management may include actions to maintain or improve the asset's condition or use the asset as collateral. Based on the classified status of an issuer, borrower, or party's regulatory status, condition management may include actions to modify the terms of a loan or bond. Condition classification may include various rules, thresholds, condition procedures, workflows, model parameters, etc., for classifying conditions such as assets, issuers, borrowers, loans, bonds, regulatory status, terms or conditions of bonds, loans or bond transactions, based on data from Internet of Things devices, data from a set of environmental condition sensors, data from a set of social network analytics services, and a set of algorithms for querying network domains, social media data, crowd-sourced data, etc. Condition classification may include grouping or labeling entities or clustering entities as similarly positioned with respect to some aspect of the classified condition (e.g., risk, quality, ROI, likelihood of recovery, likelihood of default, or some other aspect of the related obligation).

[0214] Various classification models are disclosed, in which the classification and model may be tied to geographic locations associated with collateral, issuers, borrowers, fund distributions, or other geographic locations. Classification and classification models are disclosed in which artificial intelligence is used to improve the classification model (e.g., using artificial intelligence data to refine the model). Thus, artificial intelligence may be considered part of the classification model in some examples, and vice versa. Classification and classification models are disclosed in which social media data, crowdsourced data, or IoT data is used as input to refine the model or as input to the classification model. Examples of IoT data may include images, sensor data, location data, etc. Examples of social media data or crowdsourced data may include loan party behavior, the parties' financial status, and the parties' compliance with the terms and conditions of the loan or bond. Loan parties may include the bond issuer, related entities, lenders, borrowers, and third parties with an interest in the debt. Term management may be discussed in connection with smart contract services, including term classification, data collection and monitoring, and transaction management for bonds, loans, and debt. Data collection and monitoring services are also discussed in relation to bond issuers, assets or collateral assets associated with the bonds, collateral assets backing the bonds, parties to the bonds, and classifications and classification models associated with classifying these sets. In some embodiments, classification models can be included when discussing bond types. Specific steps, factors, or refinements may be considered part of a classification model. In various embodiments, classification models may vary in embodiments tied to specific jurisdictions, or both in the same embodiment. Different classification models may use different data sets (e.g., based on issuers, borrowers, collateral assets, bond types, loan types, etc.), and multiple classification models may be used in a single classification. For example, a certain type of bond, such as municipal bonds, may have a classification model based on bond data from municipalities of similar size and economic prosperity, while another classification model may emphasize data from IoT sensors related to collateral assets. Thus, different classification models offer advantages or risks over other classification models, depending on the embodiment and the details of the bond, loan, or debt transaction. A classification model comprises an approach or concept for classification. Classified terms for a bond, loan, or debt transaction include debt principal, debt balance, fixed interest rate, floating interest rate, payment amount, payment schedule, balloon payment schedule, specifications of the assets backing the bond, loan, or debt transaction, specifications of asset fungibility, parties, issuer, purchaser, guarantees, guarantors, collateral, personal guarantees, liens, duration, covenants, lien conditions, default conditions, and / or default consequences. Classified terms may include types of bond issuers, such as municipalities, corporations, contractors, government agencies, non-government agencies, non-profit organizations, etc. An entity may include a collection of issuers, a collection of bonds, a collection of parties, and / or a collection of assets. Classified terms may include entity terms, such as net worth, wealth, debt, location, etc., party behavior (e.g., behavior indicating preferences, behavior indicating debt preferences, etc.), etc. Classified conditions may include asset or collateral types such as municipal assets, vehicles, vessels, airplanes, buildings, homes, real estate, undeveloped land, farms, crops, municipal facilities, warehouses, inventory, commodities, securities, currency, tokens of value, tickets, cryptocurrency, consumables, food, beverages, precious metals, jewelry, gemstones, intellectual property, contractual rights, antiques, fixtures, furniture, equipment, tools, machinery, and personal property. Classified conditions may include bond types. Bond types include municipal bonds, government bonds, treasury bonds, asset-backed bonds, and corporate bonds. Classified conditions may include default conditions, foreclosure conditions, conditions indicating breach of contract, financial risk conditions, behavioral risk conditions, policy risk conditions, financial soundness conditions, physical defect conditions, physical soundness conditions, substance risk conditions, and substance soundness conditions. The classified conditions may include an environment selected from among a municipal environment, a corporate environment, a stock trading environment, a real estate environment, a commercial facility, a warehouse facility, a transportation environment, a manufacturing environment, a storage environment, a home, and a vehicle.Actions based on the status of an asset, issuer, borrower, loan, debt, bond, regulatory status, etc. may include managing, reporting, syndicating, consolidating, etc. a series of bonds (e.g., municipal bonds, corporate bonds, performance bonds), monitoring, categorizing, predicting, and otherwise dealing with information such as the reliability, quality, condition, health, financial condition, and physical state of a series of loans (subsidized, unsubsidized, guarantees, guarantors, collateral supporting the guarantees, and assets supporting the guarantees). [0215] Those skilled in the art, having the benefit of the disclosure herein and generally available knowledge of the contemplated systems, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure are beneficial to a particular application of the classification models and how to select or combine classification models to arrive at terms and / or calculate the value of collateral given the required data. Particular considerations in selecting appropriate terms for those skilled in the art, or for embodiments of the present disclosure to administer, include, but are not limited to, the legality of the terms given the jurisdiction of the transaction, the available data for the given collateral, the expected type of transaction (loan, bond, or debt), the specific collateral type, the loan-to-value ratio, the collateral-to-loan ratio, the total transaction / loan amount, the credit scores of the borrower and lender, and other considerations. While specific examples of terms, condition classifications, classification models, and condition administration are described herein for illustrative purposes, any embodiment having the benefit of the disclosure herein, and any considerations understood by one skilled in the art having the benefit of the disclosure herein, are specifically contemplated within the scope of the present disclosure.

[0216] The terms "classify," "classifying," "categorization," "categorizing," "categorize," and similar terms used herein should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, classifying a condition or item may include the act of classifying a condition or item into a group or category based on some aspect, attribute, or characteristic of the condition or item that is common or similar to all items placed in that classification, even if other aspects or criteria based classifications or categories exist at that time. Classification may include the recognition of one or more parameters, features, characteristics, or phenomena related to the condition or parameter of an item, entity, person, process, item, financial structure, etc. Conditions classified by a condition classification system may include a default condition, a foreclosure condition, a condition indicating a covenant breach, a financial risk condition, a behavioral risk condition, a contract performance condition, a policy risk condition, a financial health condition, a physical defect condition, a physical health condition, an entity risk condition, and / or an entity health condition. A classification model may automatically classify or categorize items, entities, processes, items, financial structures, etc. based on data received from various sources. A classification model may classify items based on a single attribute or a combination of multiple attributes and may utilize data and models related to the items being classified. A classification model can classify individual items, entities, financial structures, or groups thereof. Bonds may be classified based on bond type (e.g., municipal, corporate, performance bond), yield, bond rating (a third-party indicator of bond quality related to the financial strength of the bond issuer and / or its ability to pay principal and interest on the bond), etc. Lenders or bond issuers may be classified based on lender or issuer type, permitted attributes (e.g., income, assets, location (domestic or international), various risk factors, issuer status, etc.).Borrowers may be classified based on permitted attributes (e.g., income, assets, total assets, location, credit history), risk factors, current status (e.g., employed, student), and party behavior (e.g., behaviors indicative of preferences, trustworthiness, etc.). A condition classification system may classify students receiving loans based on the student's progress toward a degree, the student's grades or rank in classes, the student's status at school (e.g., matriculated, probation), the student's participation in nonprofit activities, the student's deferral status, and the student's participation in public welfare activities. Conditions classified by a condition classification system may include the status of the collateral set for the loan and the status of entities related to the loan's guarantee. Conditions classified by a condition classification system may include medical conditions of the borrower, guarantor, or subsidiary. Conditions classified by a condition classification system may include compliance with at least one law, regulation, or policy related to the loan transaction or the loan institution. Conditions classified by a condition classification system may include the status of the bond issuer, the terms of the bond, and the ratings of the loan-related companies. The states classified by the state classification system may include identification of machines, parts, and operating modes. The condition classification system may classify a set of loan refinancing actions based on predicted outcomes of the set of loan refinancing actions. The condition classification system may classify a set of loans as candidates for consolidation based on attributes such as the identity of the parties, interest rates, payment balances, payment terms, payment schedules, loan types, collateral types, financial status of the parties, payment status, collateral status, and collateral value.A condition classification system may classify entities involved in a set such as factored loans, bond issuance activities, mortgage loans, etc. A condition classification system may classify a set of entities based on expected outcomes from various loan management activities. A condition classification system may classify a set of issuer conditions based on information from IoT data collection and monitoring services, a set of issuer-related parameters, a set of social network monitoring and analysis services, etc. A condition classification system may classify a set such as loan collection activities, loan consolidation activities, loan negotiation activities, loan refinancing activities, etc. based on a set of expected outcomes for those activities and entities.

[0217] As used herein, the terms subsidized loan and subsidized loan (and similar terms) should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, a subsidized loan is a loan of money or valuable items in which interest payments on the loan value, whether accrued or not, are deferred, postponed, or delayed while the borrower is attending school, unemployed, ill, etc. In embodiments, a loan may be subsidized if interest payments on a portion or subset of the loan are borne or guaranteed by someone other than the borrower. Examples of subsidized loans include municipal subsidized loans, government subsidized loans, student loans, asset-backed subsidized loans, and corporate subsidized loans. Examples of subsidized student loans include government-subsidized student loans in which interest accrual is deferred or not accrued based on a student's progress toward a degree, their participation in nonprofit activities, their deferral status, and their participation in charitable activities. Examples of government-subsidized mortgage loans include government subsidies that allow borrowers to waive closing costs, first mortgage payments, etc. The terms of such subsidized loans may include the location of the property (rural or urban), the borrower's income, the borrower's military status, whether the purchased home meets health and safety standards, and whether there are any restrictions on the profit that can be made on the sale of the home. Certain uses of the word "loan" may apply to conventional loans rather than subsidized loans. Those skilled in the art, having the benefit of this disclosure and knowledge of the contemplated systems generally available to them, can readily determine which aspects of this disclosure benefit from considering a subsidized loan (e.g., determining the value of the loan, negotiations related to the loan, terms related to the loan, etc.), and the borrower may be relieved of some of the loan obligations common to non-subsidized loans, and subsidies may include the waiver, delay, deferral, or payment of interest on the loan by a third party.Subsidies may include the payment of closing costs, including points, initial fees, etc., by individuals or entities other than the borrower, and / or methods that combine the processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance or benefit from title verification.

[0218] The term subsidized loan management (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, subsidized loan management can include multiple activities and solutions for managing or responding to one or more events related to a subsidized loan, which may include requesting a subsidized loan, providing a subsidized loan, and accepting a subsidized loan. Providing underwriting information for a subsidized loan, providing a credit report of a borrower seeking a subsidized loan, deferring payments required as part of a subsidy, setting an interest rate for a subsidized loan (a lower interest rate may be part of the subsidy), deferring payments required as part of a subsidy. Identifying collateral for a loan, verifying ownership of collateral or guarantee for a loan, recording a change in ownership, assessing the value of collateral or guarantee for a loan, inspecting property related to a loan, identifying changes in the condition of an entity related to a loan, and changes in the value of an entity related to a loan. Changes in a borrower's employment status, changes in a lender's financial rating, changes in the financial value of items provided as collateral, providing insurance for a loan, providing evidence of insurance on property related to a loan, providing evidence of loan eligibility, and identifying collateral for a loan. Underwriting loans, disbursing loans, defaulting on loans, calling loans, closing loans, establishing loan terms, foreclosing on loaned properties, modifying loan terms, establishing loan terms (such as principal, outstanding debt, fixed or variable interest rates, payment amounts, payment schedules, balloon payment schedules, designation of collateral, designation of collateral fungibility, parties, guarantees, guarantors, collateral, personal guarantees, liens, duration, covenants, lien conditions, conditions of default, consequences of default, etc.), or managing loan-related activities (including, but not limited to, finding parties interested in participating in loan transactions, processing loan applications, underwriting loans, forming legal agreements for loans, monitoring loan performance, disbursing loans, restructuring or modifying loans, and settling loans).and terminating loan transactions). In embodiments, a system for processing subsidized loans may include classifying parameters of a set of subsidized loans based on data related to those parameters obtained from an Internet of Things data collection and monitoring service. Classifying the set of parameters of a set of subsidized loans may also be based on data obtained from one or more configurable data collection and monitoring services that utilize social network analysis services, crowdsourcing services, etc. to obtain parameter data (e.g., determining whether a person or entity is eligible for a subsidized loan, determining the social value of providing a subsidized loan or removing a subsidy from a loan, determining whether a subsidizing entity is legitimate, determining appropriate subsidy terms based on characteristics of a purchaser and / or subsidy provider, etc.).

[0219] As used herein, the terms foreclose, foreclosure, foreclose or foreclosure condition, default foreclosure collateral, default collateral (and similar terms) should be broadly understood. Without limiting other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, foreclosure condition, default, etc., refer to a borrower's failure to meet the terms of a loan. Without limiting other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, foreclose and foreclosure include the process by which a lender attempts to collect the remaining balance of a loan from a foreclosed or defaulted borrower or the process of depriving the borrower of their right to redeem a mortgage held as security for the loan. Failure to meet the terms of a loan may include failure to make specified payments, failure to adhere to a payment schedule, failure to make a balloon payment, failure to properly secure the collateral, failure to maintain the collateral in a specified condition (e.g., in good repair), obtaining a second loan, etc. Foreclosure may include notifying the borrower, the public, and / or competent authorities of a forced sale of the collateral, such as at a foreclosure auction. Following a foreclosure, the collateral may be listed on an auction site (e.g., eBay®) or on an auction site appropriate for the particular property type. A minimum bid for the collateral may be set by the lender and may cover the remaining loan balance, loan interest, and foreclosure fees. Attempts to collect the remaining loan balance may include transferring the deed to the collateral in lieu of foreclosure (e.g., in a real estate-secured loan where the borrower holds the deed to the property that secures the mortgage). Foreclosure may include taking possession of or seizing the collateral (e.g., automobiles, sporting vehicles such as boats, ATVs, skimobiles, jewelry, etc.). Foreclosure may also include securing the collateral items related to the loan (e.g., by locking connected devices such as smart locks or smart containers that contain or secure the collateral). Foreclosure may also include arranging for shipment of the collateral via a carrier, freight forwarder, etc.Foreclosure may include arranging for transportation of the collateral item by drone, robot, etc. to transport the collateral. In embodiments, a loan may allow for collateral substitution, or the shifting of a lien from the collateral item originally used to secure the loan to the substitute collateral if the substitute collateral is of greater value (to the lender) than the original collateral or is an item in which the borrower has a greater interest. If a loan is foreclosed as a result of substitution, the substitute collateral may be subject to forced sale or seizure. Some uses of the term default may apply to the regular condition or state of default of an item, rather than to foreclosure. One skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems generally available to such person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure benefit from foreclosure and / or how the processes and systems of the present disclosure can be combined to enhance or benefit from foreclosure. Certain considerations exist for those skilled in the art when determining whether terms such as foreclosure, foreclosure condition, default, etc. refer to the borrower's failure to meet the terms of the loan and the associated attempt by the lender to collect the remaining balance of the loan or take ownership of the collateral.

[0220] As used herein, terms such as title verification, title verification, title validation, and similar terms should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, ownership verification and title confirmation include any effort to verify or confirm a person's or entity's ownership or interest in property, such as vehicles, vessels, airplanes, buildings, homes, real estate, undeveloped land, farms, crops, municipal facilities, warehouses, and chains of inventory; merchandise, securities, currency, tokens of value, tickets, cryptocurrencies, consumables, food, beverages, precious metals, jewelry, intellectual property, contractual rights, antiques, fixtures, furniture, equipment, tools, machinery, and personal possessions. Verification of ownership may include reference to a purchase and sale contract, a government certificate of title transfer, a legal will transferring ownership, a certificate of release of liens on the property, or a certificate of assignment of intellectual property rights to a prospective borrower in an appropriate jurisdiction. In the case of real estate, verification may include reviewing deeds and records in the country, state, county, or district court where a building, home, real estate property, undeveloped land, farm, crop, municipal facility, vehicle, vessel, aircraft, warehouse, etc. is located or registered. The particular use of the word verification may apply not to title verification or title validation, but to confirmation that a process is operating correctly, that an individual is correctly identified using biometric data, that intellectual property rights are valid, that data is correct and meaningful, etc. One of ordinary skill in the art, given the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the envisioned systems typically available to that person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure would benefit from title verification and / or how the processes and systems of the present disclosure can be combined to enhance or benefit title verification. Particular considerations for those skilled in the art when determining whether the term verification refers to title verification are specifically intended within the scope of this disclosure.

[0221] Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, verification includes any verification system, including verifying title for collateral or loan security, verifying the terms of collateral for a security or loan, verifying the terms of a guarantee for a loan, etc. For example, a verification service may provide a lender with a mechanism to more reliably provide a loan, such as verifying components of loan or security information (e.g., income, employment, title, loan terms, collateral terms, and asset terms). In a non-limiting example, the verification service circuitry may be configured to verify multiple loan information components with respect to a financial entity configured to determine loan terms for an asset. Certain components may not be considered verification systems individually, but may be considered verification in an aggregated system. For example, an Internet of Things component may not be considered a verification component by itself, but an Internet of Things component utilized to collect and monitor asset data may be considered a verification component when applied to verifying reliability parameters of a personal guarantee for a load when the Internet of Things component is associated with a collateral asset. In certain embodiments, other similarly appearing systems may be distinguished when determining whether such systems are for verification. For example, a blockchain-based ledger may be used to verify identity in one example and to maintain confidential information in another example. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applied to a wide variety of systems, any of which may be considered a verifying system herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered a verifying system herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated systems typically available to them, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system.Particular considerations for those skilled in the art in determining whether a contemplated system is an effective system and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance the contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the following: a loan platform having a social network monitoring system to verify the authenticity of guarantees for loans, a loan platform having an Internet of Things data collection and monitoring system to verify the authenticity of guarantees for loans, a loan platform having a crowdsourcing and automated classification system to verify the terms of bond issuers, a crowdsourcing system to verify the quality, title, or other terms of collateral for loans, biometric identity verification applications such as utilizing DNA or fingerprints, IoT devices utilized to collectively verify the location and identity of fixed assets tagged with virtual asset tags, verification systems utilizing voting or consensus protocols, artificial intelligence systems trained to recognize and verify events, verification expressions related to behaviors such as verifying information such as records of rights, video footage, photographs, or witness testimony, verifying the occurrence of a condition of compliance, verifying the occurrence of a condition of default, deterring inappropriate behavior or false statements, reducing uncertainty, or reducing information asymmetry, etc.

[0222] The term "underwriting" (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, underwriting includes all underwriting, such as relating to underwriters, providing underwriting information for loans, underwriting debt transactions, underwriting bond transactions, underwriting subsidized loan transactions, and underwriting securities transactions. Underwriting services are provided by financial institutions, such as banks, insurance companies, and investment companies, which guarantee payment when loss conditions (such as damages or financial losses) are confirmed and assume financial risk for liability resulting from the guarantee. For example, a bank may underwrite a loan through a mechanism that performs credit analysis leading to a loan decision, such as analyzing personal information elements related to individual borrowers requesting consumer loans (e.g., employment history, salary, publicly disclosed financial statements, such as the borrower's credit history) and analyzing business financial information elements from companies requesting commercial loans (e.g., tangible net worth, debt-to-net worth ratio (leverage), and available liquidity (current ratio)). In a non-limiting example, the underwriting services circuitry may be configured to underwrite financial transactions involving multiple financial information components with respect to a financial institution configured to determine the financial condition of an asset. In certain embodiments, an underwriting component may be considered underwriting for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, an artificial intelligence system that collects and analyzes transaction data may be utilized in conjunction with a smart contract platform to monitor loan transactions, but may alternatively be utilized to collect and analyze underwriting data, such as utilizing models trained by expert human underwriters. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of systems, any such system may be considered underwriting herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered underwriting herein.A person skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to that person, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system. Specific considerations for a person skilled in the art in determining whether a contemplated system is underwriting and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance the contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the following: a loan platform having a loan underwriting system with a set of data-integrated microservices such as data collection and monitoring services, blockchain services, artificial intelligence services, smart contract services, etc., underwriting processes, operations, and servicing; underwriting data such as data related to the identities of prospective and actual parties involved in insurance and other transactions; actuarial data; data related to the probability of occurrence and / or degree of risk associated with activities; data related to observed activities; and other data used to underwrite or estimate risk. Underwriting applications, such as underwriting of insurance, loans, and other transactions, including, but not limited to, applications for detecting, characterizing, and predicting the likelihood and extent of risk; underwriting and inspection flows for companies providing loan solutions, analytics solutions, and asset management solutions; underwriting of insurance policies, loans, guarantees, or guarantees; blockchain and smart contract platforms for aggregating identity and behavioral information for insurance underwriting, including with an optional distributed ledger to record the sequence of events, transactions, activities, identities, facts, and other information related to the underwriting process.Examples include crowdsourcing platforms, such as for underwriting various types of loans and guarantees; loan underwriting systems with a set of data-integrated microservices, including data collection and monitoring services, blockchain services, artificial intelligence services, and smart contract services for underwriting loan entities and transactions; underwriting solutions that create, configure, modify, set, or otherwise process various rules, thresholds, conditional procedures, workflows, or model parameters; underwriting actions or plans for managing a given type of loan based on one or more events, conditions, states, actions, secondary loans or loan-backing transactions, collections, consolidations, foreclosures, bankruptcies, insolvency situations, modifications to existing loans, market-changing situations, and foreclosure activity; adaptive intelligent systems that include artificial intelligence models trained on a training set of expert underwriting activities and / or the results of underwriting activities to generate a set of predictions, classifications, control instructions, plans, and models; and loan underwriting systems with a set of data-integrated microservices, including data collection and monitoring services, blockchain services, artificial intelligence services, and smart contract services for underwriting lending entities and transactions.

[0223] The term insurance (and similar terms) used herein should be broadly understood. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, insuring includes any insurance, including providing insurance on a loan, providing evidence of insurance on assets related to a loan, a first entity assuming risk or liability for another entity, etc. Insuring or insurance may be a mechanism by which a holder of insurance is provided protection from financial loss, such as in the form of risk management for contingent or uncertain risks of loss. An insurance mechanism may provide insurance, determine the need for insurance, determine evidence of insurance, etc., related to assets, asset transactions, asset loans, securities, etc. An entity providing insurance may be referred to as an insurance company, insurance carrier, underwriter, etc. For example, a mechanism for insuring may provide a financial institution with a mechanism for determining evidence of insurance on assets related to a loan. In a non-limiting example, the insurance services circuitry may be configured to determine evidence of insurance terms on assets based on multiple insurance information components for a financial entity configured to determine loan terms on assets. In certain embodiments, a component may be considered insurance for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, a blockchain and smart contract platform may be utilized to manage aspects of a loan transaction, such as for identity and confidentiality, but may alternatively be utilized to aggregate identity and behavioral information for insurance underwriting. Accordingly, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of systems, any of which may be considered insurance herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered insurance herein. With the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated systems typically available to them, one of ordinary skill in the art will readily be able to determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine the processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system.Specific considerations for those skilled in the art in determining whether a contemplated system carries insurance and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure could benefit or enhance the contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the following: insurance facilities, such as branches, offices, storage facilities, data centers, and underwriting operations; insurance claims, such as business interruption insurance, product liability insurance, goods, premises and equipment insurance, flood insurance, and insurance for contract-related risks, as well as claims data related to liability claims, such as product liability, general liability, workers' compensation, and personal injury claims, and claims data related to contracts, such as supply contract performance claims, product delivery requirements, contract claims, property damage claims, points or rewards redemption claims, access rights claims, warranty claims, indemnity claims, energy production requirements, delivery requirements, timing requirements, milestones, key performance indicators, and the like; insurance-related lending; and blockchain and smart contract platforms for aggregating identity and behavioral information for insurance services, insurance brokerage services, life insurance services, health insurance services, retirement insurance services, property and casualty insurance services, finance and insurance services, reinsurance services, and underwriting. Information on the identity of the applicant for insurance, the identity of the party who may be providing the insurance, and the risks that may be insured (of any type, including but not limited to property, life, travel, breach, health, home, commercial liability, product liability, auto, fire, flood, casualty, retirement, unemployment, etc.) Distributed ledgers can be used to facilitate the offering and underwriting of microinsurance, for example, insurance against defined risks associated with defined activities for narrower time periods than typical insurance policies, providing insurance on loans, and providing evidence of insurance on property related to loans.

[0224] The term aggregation (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, aggregation or aggregating includes any aggregation involving aggregating items together, such as aggregating or linking similar items (e.g., as follows): collateral to provide security for a series of loans, aggregating collateral items for a series of loans in real time based on the similarity of the status of the series of items, etc.; collecting data together (e.g., for storage, communication, analysis, as training data for a model, etc.); collapsing aggregated items or data into a simpler description; or other methods for combining several (e.g., heterogeneous) elements to create a formed whole. Furthermore, an aggregator may be any system or platform for aggregation, as described. Certain components may not be considered aggregates individually, but may be considered aggregates in an aggregated system. For example, a collection of loans may not be considered an aggregation of loans in itself, but may be an aggregation when collected in that manner. In a non-limiting example, the aggregation circuitry may be configured to provide a lender with a mechanism for aggregating loans together from multiple loans based on loan attributes, parameters, terms or conditions, financial institution, etc. In certain embodiments, what may be considered an aggregation for some purposes may not be considered an aggregation for other purposes. For example, an aggregation of asset-backed terms may be collected in one example for the purpose of aggregating loans together and in another example for the purpose of determining default actions. Furthermore, in certain embodiments, other similar-looking systems may be distinguished in determining whether and / or what type of aggregator such a system is an aggregator. For example, both a first aggregator and a second aggregator may aggregate financial institution data, where the first aggregator aggregates to build a training set for the analytical model circuitry and the second aggregator aggregates financial institution data for storage in a blockchain-based distributed ledger. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applied to a wide variety of systems, and any such system may be considered an aggregation herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered an aggregation herein. With the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated systems typically available to them, one of ordinary skill in the art can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of a contemplated system. Particular considerations for one of ordinary skill in the art in determining whether a contemplated system is an aggregation and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, demand aggregation in forward markets (e.g., blockchain and smart contract platforms for demand aggregation in forward markets, expressed or committed interest in a demand aggregation interface, blockchains used to aggregate future demand in forward markets for various products and services, processing a set of potential configurations with different parameters for a subset of the configurations that are consistent with each other, and a subset of the configurations used to aggregate committed future demand for an offering that satisfies a sufficiently large subset at a profitable price, etc.). Correlated aggregated data (including trend information) about workers' age, qualifications and experience (including by process type) and data about the processes in which those workers are involved; accommodation demand that is pre-aggregated and conveniently fulfilled by automatic recognition of conditions that meet pre-set commitments represented on a blockchain (e.g., a distributed ledger); transportation offers that are aggregated and fulfilled (e.g., with a wide range of pre-defined contingencies); aggregation of goods and services on a blockchain (e.g., a distributed ledger used for demand planning); on a demand aggregation interface (e.g., presented to one or more consumers); aggregation of multiple submissions; aggregation of identity and behavioral information (e.g.,Examples include: insurance underwriting), multi-party accumulation and aggregation, aggregation of data for a set of collateral, aggregated value of collateral or assets (e.g., based on real-time condition monitoring, real-time market data collection and integration, etc.), aggregated tranches of loans, collateral for smart contracts aggregated with other similar collateral, etc.

[0225] The term "linking" (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or explanations of this disclosure, linking includes any link, including a link as a relationship between two things or circumstances (e.g., one thing affects another). For example, linking a subset of similar items, such as collateral, to provide security for a series of loans. Certain components may not be considered linked individually but may be considered in the process of linking in an aggregated system. For example, a smart contract circuit may be configured to operate in conjunction with a blockchain circuit as part of a loan processing platform, but the smart contract circuit processes contracts without storing information via the blockchain circuit; however, the two circuits may be linked by the smart contract circuit linking financial institution information via a distributed ledger on the blockchain circuit. In certain embodiments, a link may be considered a link for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, links for goods and services for users and wireless links between access points are different forms of links; links for goods and services for users are considered together, while an RF link is a communications link between transceivers. Furthermore, in some embodiments, other similar-looking systems may be distinguished when determining whether such systems are linked and / or what type of link they are. For example, linking similar data for analysis is different from linking similar data for graphing. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of systems, and such systems may be considered linked herein, while in some embodiments, certain systems may not be considered linked herein. One of ordinary skill in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to him or her, will be able to readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine the processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system. For those skilled in the art, particular considerations in determining whether a contemplated system is linked and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, linking a marketplace or external marketplace with a system or platform, linking data (e.g., data clusters including links and nodes), storing and retrieving data linked to local processes, links (e.g., relating to nodes) in a common knowledge graph, data linked to proximity or location (e.g., of an asset), links to the environment, links to the environment (e.g., goods, services, assets, etc.), linking events (e.g., for storage, communication, or analysis, such as on a blockchain), linking ownership or access rights, linking to access tokens (e.g., travel offers linked to access tokens), linking to one or more resources (e.g., secured by cryptography or other technology), linking messages to smart contracts, etc.

[0226] The term "indicator of interest" (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, an indicator of interest may include an indicator of interest from a user or multiple users or parties related to a transaction, etc. (e.g., parties interested in participating in a loan transaction), a record or storage of such interest (e.g., a circuit that records input of interest from a user, party, circuit, system, etc.), a circuit that analyzes data related to the interest to set an indicator of interest (e.g., a circuit that sets or communicates an indicator based on input to the circuit from a user, party, entity, system, circuit, etc.), a model trained to determine an indicator of interest from input data related to an interest from one of multiple inputs from a user, party, or financial institution, etc. A particular component may not be considered an indicator of interest individually, but may be considered an indicator of interest in the aggregated system. For example, a party may seek information related to such a transaction, despite the translation marketplace in which the party is interested in seeking the information, but that may not be considered an indicator of interest for the transaction. However, once a party asserts a particular interest (e.g., via a user interface with a control input for indicating interest), the party's interest may be recorded (e.g., in storage circuitry, blockchain circuitry), analyzed (e.g., via analysis circuitry, data collection circuitry), monitored (e.g., via monitoring circuitry), etc. In a non-limiting example, an indication of interest may be recorded (e.g., in a blockchain via a distributed ledger) from a set of parties regarding a product, service, etc., such as defining parameters under which the party is willing to commit to purchasing the product or service. In particular embodiments, an indication of interest may be considered an indication of interest for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, a user may indicate interest in a loan transaction, but that does not necessarily mean that the user is indicating interest in providing the type of collateral associated with the loan transaction. For example, the data collection circuitry may record an indication of interest in the transaction but have separate circuitry for determining an indication of interest in the collateral.Furthermore, in certain embodiments, other similar-looking systems may be distinguished in determining whether such systems are determining an indication of interest and / or what type of indication of interest is present. For example, one circuit or system may collect data from multiple parties to determine an indication of interest in securing a loan, while a second circuit or system may collect data from multiple parties to determine an indication of interest in determining ownership interests associated with the loan. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applied to a wide variety of systems, and any such system may be considered an indication of interest herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered an indication of interest herein. With the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated systems typically available to them, one of ordinary skill in the art will readily be able to determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine the processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system. Particular considerations for one of ordinary skill in the art in determining whether a contemplated system is an indicator of interest and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, parties expressing an interest in participating in a transaction (e.g., a loan transaction), parties expressing an interest in securing a product or service, recording or storing the indicator of interest (e.g., via memory circuitry or blockchain circuitry), analyzing the indicator of interest (e.g., via data collection and / or monitoring circuitry), etc.

[0227] The term accommodations (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of this disclosure, accommodations include any service, activity, event, or the like in which someone can live, stay, sit, inhabit, or participate, such as a room, a group of rooms, a table, a seat, a building, an event, a shared space provided by an individual (e.g., AirBnB space), a bed and breakfast, a workspace, a conference room, a convention space, fitness accommodations, health and wellness accommodations, dining accommodations, or the like. As such, accommodations can be purchased (e.g., tickets through a sports ticketing application), reserved (e.g., reservations through a hotel booking application), offered as a reward or gift, traded or exchanged (e.g., through a marketplace), offered as access rights (e.g., offerings through aggregate demand), offered based on contingency (e.g., reserving a room contingent on the availability of a nearby event), and the like. Certain components may not be considered accommodations individually, but may be considered accommodations in an aggregated system. For example, a resource such as a hotel room may not be considered an accommodation by itself, but a room reservation may be considered an accommodation. For example, a blockchain and smart contract platform for a forward market right of accommodation may provide a mechanism for providing access rights for accommodation. In a non-limiting example, a blockchain circuit may be configured to store access rights in a forward demand market, which may be stored in a distributed ledger with associated shared access to multiple actionable entities. In certain embodiments, an accommodation may be considered an accommodation for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, a room reservation may be an accommodation in itself, but not a fulfilled accommodation if, for example, associated contingencies are not met as agreed upon at the time of booking.Furthermore, in some embodiments, other similar-looking systems may be distinguished when determining whether the system is related to accommodations and / or what type of accommodation it is. For example, accommodation offers may be based on different systems, such as one system that collects data related to future demand and a second system that provides accommodation offers as a reward based on a system that processes performance parameters. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applied to a wide variety of systems, and any such system may be considered related to accommodations herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered related to accommodations herein. With the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of contemplated systems typically available to them, one of ordinary skill in the art can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine the processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system. Particular considerations for those skilled in the art when determining whether a contemplated system relates to accommodations and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure could benefit or enhance the contemplated system include, but are not limited to, accommodations provided as determined via service circuits, trading or exchanging services (e.g., via applications and / or user interfaces), accommodations provided as a combination of products, services, and access rights (e.g., aggregation of demand for offerings in the forward market), accommodations booked in advance, accommodations booked in advance upon meeting certain conditions (e.g., regarding price within a given time frame), etc.

[0228] The term contingency (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, a contingency includes any contingency involving an action that is dependent on a second action. For example, a service may be provided that is conditional on a parameter value, such as collecting data that is conditional on an asset tag indication from an Internet of Things circuit. Also, a hotel reservation or other accommodation may be conditional on a concert (local to the hotel and occurring at the same time as the reservation) occurring as scheduled. For example, data input collected from a data collection service circuit may be stored, analyzed, processed, etc., and may not be considered contingent, but the smart contract service circuit may apply contract terms that are conditional on the collected data. For example, data may indicate the status of collateral for a loan transaction, and the smart contract service circuit may apply the data to contract terms that depend on the collateral. In certain embodiments, a contingency may be considered a contingency for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, delivery of a contingent access right for a future event may be contingent on the satisfaction of a loan condition, but the loan condition itself may not be considered contingent if there is no contingency link between the condition and the access right. Furthermore, in certain embodiments, other similar-looking systems may be distinguished in determining whether such systems are associated with a contingency and / or what type of contingency. For example, two algorithms may both create forward market event access right tokens, but the first algorithm creates tokens without any contingency and the second algorithm creates tokens with a contingency regarding the delivery of the token. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of systems, any such system may be considered contingent herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered contingent herein.A person skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems generally available to him or her, will be readily able to determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of a contemplated system. Specific considerations in determining whether a contemplated system is contingent and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, forward markets operated within or by the platform may be contingent forward markets, such as those in which future rights are vested, triggered, or emerge based on the occurrence of an event, the satisfaction of a condition, etc. Blockchain contingency or underlying access rights or tokens used to create contingent markets for all forms of events or access tokens, including pricing and monitoring of contingent access rights, underlying access rights, tokens, fees, etc.; optimizing delivery methods, timing, pricing, etc.; recognizing and predicting patterns; and establishing rules and contingencies for the exchange of access tokens and / or contingent access tokens; creating contingent forward market event access tokens, where tokens may be created and stored on the blockchain for contingent access rights that may result in ticket ownership; discovering and delivering contingent access rights for future events; contingencies that influence or represent future demand for offerings, including sets of products, services, etc.; pre-defined contingencies; recognizing and predicting patterns and establishing rules and contingencies for optimized offerings, timing, pricing, etc.; creating contingent future offerings within a dashboard; contingent access rights that may result in ownership of virtual goods or respective smart contracts for purchasing virtual goods when available under defined conditions; etc.

[0229] The term service level (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, service level may include a qualitative or quantitative measure of the extent to which a service is provided, such as first-class versus business-class service (e.g., travel reservations or mail delivery), the extent to which resources are available (e.g., Service Level A indicates that resources are highly available, while Service Level C indicates that resources are constrained (e.g., limited traffic volume on a road)), the degree to which operational parameters are being implemented (e.g., a system is operating in high and low service states), etc. In embodiments, service level may be multimodal, such as when a system or circuit provides a service rating (e.g., when the service rating is used as an input to an analysis circuit that determines an outcome based on the service rating), where the service level is variable. For example, a system that monitors traffic flow rates may provide data regarding current flow rates but not indicate a service level; however, when determined traffic flow rates are provided to the monitoring circuit, the monitoring circuit may compare the determined traffic flow rates with historical traffic flow rates and determine a service level based on the comparison. In certain embodiments, a service level may be considered a service level for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, the availability of first-class travel accommodations may be considered a service level for determining whether an airline ticket will be purchased, but not for predicting future demand for flights. Furthermore, in certain embodiments, other similarly appearing systems may be differentiated in determining whether and / or what type of level of service such systems utilize. For example, an artificial intelligence circuit may be trained on past service levels for traffic flow patterns on a certain freeway and used to predict future traffic flow patterns based on current flow rates, while a similar artificial intelligence circuit may predict future traffic flow patterns based on the time of day. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of systems, and any such system may be considered in terms of the service levels herein, while in certain embodiments, certain systems may not be considered in terms of the service levels herein. With the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems typically available to them, one of ordinary skill in the art will readily be able to determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of the contemplated system. Particular considerations for one of ordinary skill in determining whether a contemplated system is a service level and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure can benefit or enhance a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, the provision of transportation or accommodations with predefined contingencies and parameters, such as with respect to price, mode of service, and service level, the application of warranties or guarantees, the transportation market, etc.

[0230] The term "payment" (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, payment includes any payment, including the act or process of paying (e.g., a payment on a loan) or being paid (e.g., a payment from insurance), the amount paid or payable (e.g., a $1,000 payment is made), a repayment (e.g., repaying a loan), a mode of payment (e.g., using a loyalty program, reward points, or a particular currency, including cryptocurrency), etc. Certain components may not be considered payments individually, but may be considered payments in an aggregated system. For example, submitting an amount may not be considered a payment on its own, but may be considered a payment (or repayment) when applied to a payment to satisfy loan requirements. For example, the data collection circuitry can provide a lender with a mechanism for monitoring loan repayments. In a non-limiting example, the data collection circuitry may be configured to monitor payments of multiple loan components for a financial loan agreement configured to determine loan terms for an asset. In certain embodiments, a payment may be considered a payment for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, a payment to a financial institution may be a payment to repay a loan or may be to satisfy a secured obligation in the event of loan default. Furthermore, in some embodiments, other similar-looking systems may be distinguished in determining whether such a system relates to a payment and / or what type of payment it is. For example, funds may be applied to reserve accommodations or may be applied to satisfy the provision of services after the accommodations have been fulfilled. Thus, the benefits of the present disclosure may be applicable to a wide variety of systems, and any such system may be considered a payment herein, while in certain embodiments, a given system may not be considered a payment herein.A person skilled in the art, with the benefit of the disclosure herein and knowledge of the contemplated systems generally available to him or her, can readily determine which aspects of the present disclosure will benefit a particular system and / or how to combine processes and systems of the present disclosure to enhance the operation of a contemplated system. Particular considerations for a person skilled in the art in determining whether a contemplated system is a payment and / or whether aspects of the present disclosure will benefit or enhance a contemplated system include, but are not limited to, deferring required payments, deferring payment requirements, loan payments, payment amounts, payment schedules, balloon payment schedules, payment performance and satisfaction, mode of payment, etc.

[0231] The term location (and similar terms) as used herein should be understood broadly. Without being limited to other aspects or descriptions of the present disclosure, location includes any location, including a specific place or the location of a person, place, or item, or location information regarding the location of a person, place, or item, such as geolocation (e.g., geolocation of collateral), storage location (e.g., storage location of assets), location of a person (e.g., lender, borrower, worker), location information regarding the same, etc. Certain components may not be considered location-based individually, but may be considered location-based in an aggregated system—for example, smart contract circuitry may be configured to specify a requirement that collateral be stored in a fixed location but not specify a specific location for a particular collateral. In certain embodiments, a system may be considered a location for some purposes but not for other purposes. For example, in one example, a borrower's address location may be required to process a loan, while in another example, a specific location may be required to process a default. Furthermore, in some embodiments, other similar-looking systems may be distinguished in determining whether they are a location and / or what type of location they are. For example, the location of a music concert may be required to be a concert hall that seats 10,000 people in one example, while in another exampl...
