Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present application relates to fastening clips, and in particular to fastening clips for fastening two or more plates. [Background technology]

[0002] In industrial applications, for example in the automotive industry, it may be desirable to use fastening clips to securely join two or more plates. One solution is to drill holes in the plates to be joined and insert the fastening clip into the holes in the plates to be joined. The fastening clip has an elastic fastening element. The elastic fastening element is in a contracted state before being inserted into the plates to be joined. Once fully inserted into the plates to be joined, the elastic fastening element expands outwardly and abuts against the plates, thereby firmly joining the two or more plates. Summary of the Invention

[0003] The present application provides a fastening clip that is easy to install and strong. The fastening clip comprises: a fastening pin having a head and a pin portion extending downward from the head and having a retaining portion formed at a distal end thereof; a fastening sleeve having a base portion and two pairs of retaining wings, each of the two pairs of retaining wings being disposed opposite one another, the base portion having a hole into which the pin portion can be removably inserted, the two pairs of retaining wings each extending downwardly from a lower surface of the base portion and distributed circumferentially around a center of the hole, the inner surface of a lower portion of each of the two pairs of retaining wings being inwardly inclined to form a clamping portion cooperating with the retaining portion of the fastening pin, and the outer surface of at least one of the two pairs of retaining wings having a circumferentially extending raised rib.

[0004] According to this fastening clip, the two pairs of retention wings include a pair of first retention wings and a pair of second retention wings, the pair of first retention wings being provided with a raised rib adjacent to an upper end of the pair of first retention wings, and the pair of second retention wings being provided with a raised rib adjacent to a lower end of the pair of second retention wings.

[0005] According to this fastening clip, the raised ribs at the upper ends of the first pair of retaining wings are positioned to contact at least two plates of a first thickness so as to fasten the at least two plates of the first thickness together by the fastening clip, and the raised ribs at the lower ends of the second pair of retaining wings are positioned to contact at least two plates of the second thickness so as to fasten the at least two plates of the second thickness together by the fastening clip.

[0006] According to this fastening clip, the pair of second clamping portions of the two pairs of retaining wings are arranged so that the thickness of the clamping portion of the pair of second retaining wings is smaller than the thickness of the clamping portion of the pair of first retaining wings in the same radial portion.

[0007] According to this fastening clip, in the same radial portion, the distance between the outer surfaces of the clamping portions of the first pair of retaining wings of the two pairs of retaining wings is smaller than the distance between the outer surfaces of the clamping portions of the second pair of retaining wings, and the distance between the inner surfaces of the clamping portions of the first pair of retaining wings of the two pairs of retaining wings is greater than the distance between the inner surfaces of the clamping portions of the second pair of retaining wings.

[0008] According to this fastening clip, a claw that abuts against the holding portion is provided on the inner surface of the clamp portion, and the raised rib at the lower end of the pair of second holding wings is located above the claw.

[0009] According to this fastening clip, the raised ribs at the upper ends of the pair of first retention wings have a distance D from the lower surface of the base portion.

The inner surface 345c of the lower portion of the retention wing lower portion 342c is inclined inwardly from top to bottom to form a clamp portion 332c. The clamp portion 332c is used to cooperate with the retaining portion 241. A claw 361c is formed on the lower portion of the inner surface of the clamp portion 332c, and the claw 361c can enter the groove 245 of the retaining portion 241 of the fastening pin 110.

[0026] The outer surface 371c of the retention wing 312 has two circumferentially extending raised ribs 337e, 337f, which are located at the end of the lower retention wing 342c close to the upper retention wing 341c. That is, the raised rib 337e is near the junction of the upper retention wing 341c and the lower retention wing 342c. The two raised ribs 337e, 337f are provided to be higher than the claw 361c. Similarly, the two raised ribs 337e, 337f have crests 333e, 333f and upper bevels 329e, 329f, respectively, which are adapted to abut against at least two plates of the second thickness.

[0027] Similar to retention wing 312, retention wing 314 has upper retention wing portion 341d and lower retention wing portion 342d. Outer surface 371d of lower retention wing portion 342d also has two raised ribs 337g, 337h. Raised rib 337g is located above raised rib 337h, raised rib 337g is symmetrical to raised rib 337e, and raised rib 337h is symmetrical to raised rib 337f. Raised rib 337g has upper bevel 329g and crest 333g, and raised rib 337h has upper bevel 329h and crest 333h. Outer surface 346d of lower retention wing portion 342b has fastener sleeve guide portion 348d. An inner surface 345d of the retention wing lower portion 342d has a clamping portion 322d, and a claw 361d is formed on the lower portion of the inner surface of the clamping portion 322d.

[0028] The fastening sleeve guide portions 348a, 348b, 348c, 348d of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 together form an inverted cone structure that gradually narrows from top to bottom, and is used to guide the fastening pin 110 when it is inserted into the fastening sleeve 120 and reaches the ready position of the fastening clip 100. In the ready position of the fastening clip 100, the claws 361a, 361b, 361c, 361d of the fastening sleeve 120 are located on the retaining portions 241 of the fastening pin 110.

[0029] At least a portion of the lower retention wing portion 342c of retention wing 312 has a thickness greater than a corresponding portion of the lower retention wing portion 342a of retention wing 311. That is, in some radial portions of the lower portion of fastening sleeve 120, the thickness of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313 is less than the thickness of the pair of second retention wings 312, 314. Figure 3E is a bottom-up cross-sectional view taken along line FF in Figure 3D. As shown in FIG. 3E, the circumferential diameter at the location where the inner surfaces of the clamping portions 322a, 322b of the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 are located is larger than the circumferential diameter at the location where the inner surfaces of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314 are located, and the circumferential diameter at the location where the outer surfaces of the clamping portions 322c, 322d of the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 are located is smaller than the circumferential diameter at the location where the outer surfaces of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314 are located. That is, in the cross-sectional view shown in Fig. 3E, the distance between the outer surfaces of the clamping portions 322a, 322b of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313 is smaller than the distance between the outer surfaces of the clamping portions 322c, 322d of the pair of second retention wings 312, 314, and the distance between the inner surfaces of the clamping portions of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313 in the two pairs of retention wings 311, 312, 313, 314 is larger than the distance between the inner surfaces of the clamping portions of the pair of second retention wings 312, 314. In other words, compared with the clamping portions of the pair of second retention wings 312, 314, the clamping portions of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313 are thinner from the inner and outer surfaces, respectively.

[0030] 1A, in the ready position of the fastening clip 100, the pin portion 212 of the fastening pin 110 is partially inserted into the fastening sleeve 120, and the holding portion 241 is located on the clamping portions 322a, 322b, 322c, 322d. The diameter of the cylindrical space surrounded by the upper portion of each of the two pairs of holding wings 311, 312, 313, 314 is not smaller than the outer diameter of the holding portion 241. Therefore, the holding portion 241 is close to the inner surface of the two pairs of holding wings 311, 312, 313, 314 or has a certain gap from the inner surface of the two pairs of holding wings 311, 312, 313, 314. The two pairs of holding wings 311, 312, 313, 314 are in a free state and are not clamped by an external force. At the same time, the contact surface 268 of the resilient arm 269 of the fastening pin 110 abuts against the underside of the base portion 301, thereby preventing the fastening pin 110 from slipping out of the fastening sleeve 120. The fastening clip 100 is held in the ready position prior to use.

[0031] FIG. 4 shows two plates with a first thickness (total thickness). As shown in FIG. 4, the total thickness of the first and second plates 401, 402 is the first thickness. The first and second plates 401, 402 with the first thickness cooperate with the raised ribs on the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 to strengthen the fastening of the fastening clip 100 on the first and second plates 401, 402. The first and second plates 401, 402 have holes 411, 412, respectively. When the plates 401, 402 need to be fastened, first align the hole 411 with the hole 412, then insert the fastening clip 100 of FIG. 1A into the holes 411, 412, and press down the fastening pin 110 to fasten the plates 401, 402. The diameter of the holes 411, 412 is set to be equal to or slightly larger than the outer diameter of the fastening sleeve 120 of the fastening clip 100 in the ready position shown in Fig. 1A, so that the fastening clip 100 can be easily inserted into the holes 411, 412. The hole 412 of the lower second plate 402 matches the size of the fastening clip 100, so that when the fastening clip 100 is in the functional position, the fastening sleeve 120 can abut against the lower edge 419 of the hole 412 to fasten the first and second plates 401, 402.

[0032] Fig. 5A shows a cross-sectional view of the fastening clip 100 in the ready position, fitted between two plates of a first thickness. As shown in Fig. 5A, the fastening clip 100 is inserted into the hole 411 of the first plate 401 and the hole 412 of the second plate 402, and the upper surface of the first plate 401 contacts the lower surface 303 of the base portion 301. At this time, the fastening clip 100 is in the ready position, so that the fastening clip 100 can be easily slid into the hole 412 of the second plate. Also, at this time, the first and second plates 401, 402 are not fastened together.

[0033] 5B shows a cross-sectional view of the relationship between the fastening clip 100 and two plates of a first thickness in the functional position. As shown in FIG. 5B, the lower surface 216 of the head 211 of the fastening pin 110 is close to the upper surface 302 of the base part 301 of the fastening sleeve 120. At this time, the clamping parts 322a, 322b, 322c, 322d expand outward, so that the outer surface of each retaining wing contacts and abuts the lower edge 419 of the hole 412 of the second plate 402. Thus, the first and second plates 401, 402 are fastened. In the functional position of the fastening clip 100, the claws 361a, 361b, 361c, 361d of the fastening sleeve 120 enter the groove 245 of the retaining part 241 of the fastening pin 110 and abut the groove bottom 247. When the fastening pin 110 attempts to move upward relative to the fastening sleeve 120, the lower side wall 249 of the groove 245 can prevent the claws 361a, 361b, 361c, 361d from falling out of the groove 245, thereby maintaining the fastening clip 100 in the functional position.

[0034] As the fastening clip 100 changes from the ready position shown in FIG. 5A to the functional position shown in FIG. 5B, the operator presses down on the fastening pin 110, causing the retaining portion 241 to contact the inwardly inclined bevel of the clamping portion 322, and the retaining portion 241 to push the clamping portions 322a, 322b, 322c, 322d outward, causing each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 to deform and causing the outer surfaces of the upper portions of each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 to incline outward. When the fastening pin 110 reaches its functional position, the outer surfaces of each of the retaining wing upper parts 341a, 341b, 341c, 341d of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 abut against the lower edge 419 of the hole 412 in the second plate 402, thereby pressing the first and second plates 401, 402 together to fasten the first and second plates 401, 402 together.

[0035] 5A and 5B, the total thickness of the at least two plates to be fastened is a first thickness, and the at least two plates of the first thickness increase the fastening force fastening the fastening clip 100 to the plates through the raised ribs 327e, 327f, 327g, 327h of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313. FIG 5B shows the relationship between the fastening clip 100 and the first and second plates 401, 402 in the functional position. As shown in Fig. 5B, when the fastening clip 100 is inserted into the hole 401 and the hole 412 and reaches the working position, the overlapping portion 501 of the second plate 402 shown in Fig. 5A and each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 deform and enter the hole 412, so that each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 applies a certain force to the second plate 402 and presses the second plate 402 and the first plate 401. In the fastening clip without the raised rib, the first and second plates 401, 402 of the first thickness are relatively thin, and the overlapping portion 501 is located at the end of the retaining wing upper portion 341a, 341b, 341c, 341d of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 close to the base portion 301. Due to the relatively thin retaining wing upper portions 341a, 341b, 341c, 341d and the small overlapping portion 501, the portions of each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 close to the hole 412 are easily deformed, i.e., the force generated by the deformation of each retaining wing is small. After the fastening clip reaches the working position, the portions of each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 below the second plate 402 are pushed into the hole 412 by the lower edge 419 of the hole 412, and the first and second plates 401, 402 are loosened. In one embodiment of the present application, the outer surfaces of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313 have raised ribs 327e, 327f, 327g, 327h such that the contact points between the outer surfaces of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313 and the lower edge 419 of the hole 412 in the second plate 402 are located on the upper bevels 328e, 328g of the raised ribs 327e, 327g.Compared with the fastening clip without the raised ribs, since the peaks 331e, 331g of the raised ribs 327e, 327g extend outwardly beyond the lower edge 419 of the hole 412 of the second plate 402, the fastening clip with the raised ribs requires a larger external force to push the peaks 331e, 331f into the hole 412, so that the first and second plates 401, 402 are relatively less likely to come loose. That is, the fastening clip 100 fastens the first and second plates 401, 402 more firmly.

[0036] When the fastening pin 110 is inserted into the fastening sleeve 120 until it reaches the functional position, the applied external force needs to overcome the acting force caused by the deformation of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314, and the raised ribs 327e, 327f on the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 slightly increase the deformation of the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313, so that the raised ribs 327e, 327f slightly increase the insertion force of the fastening clip 100. That is, while the fastening force of the fastening clip 100 for the two plates of the first thickness is significantly increased, the insertion force of the fastening clip 100 is only slightly increased.

[0037] In one embodiment of the present application, the raised ribs for the at least two plates of the first thickness are provided on the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313, while the outer surfaces of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314 also abut against the lower edge 419 of the hole 412 and contribute to the fastening force of the fastening clip 100. In another embodiment, the raised ribs for the at least two plates of the first thickness can also be provided on the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314.

[0038] 5A and 5B, the lower edge 419 of the hole 412 of the second plate 402 in the plate to be fastened abuts against the bevels 328e, 328g of the upper raised ribs 327e, 327g, and the plate to be fastened that is slightly thicker than the total thickness of the first and second plates 401, 402 can also abut against the bevels 328f, 328h of the lower raised ribs 327f, 327h to achieve the same technical effect. In another embodiment of the present application, the total thickness of the two plates to be fastened is greater than the distance from the lower raised rib to the lower surface 303 of the base portion 301, so that the plate cannot just abut against the bevels of the raised ribs, but the tops 331e, 332g of the raised ribs 327e, 327g or the tops 331f, 331h of the raised ribs 327f, 327h abut against the inner surface of the hole 412. Compared with a fastening clip without raised ribs, the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 can deform more and can also provide a larger fastening force, so that the two fastened plates are less likely to loosen and fall off. When at least two plates of a first thickness are fastened, the two pairs of retaining wings of the fastening clip 100 cooperate to provide a fastening force, but the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 provides a larger fastening force than the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314.

[0039] FIG. 6 shows two plates with a second thickness (total thickness). As shown in FIG. 6, the total thickness of the first and second plates 601, 602 is the second thickness. The first and second plates 601, 602 with the second thickness cooperate with the raised ribs 337e, 337f, 337g, 337h on the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314 to strengthen the fastening of the fastening clip 100 on the first and second plates 601, 602. The first and second plates 601, 602 have holes 611, 612, respectively. When the plates 601, 602 need to be fastened, first align the hole 611 with the hole 612, then insert the fastening clip 100 in the ready position in FIG. 1A into the hole 611, 612, and press down the fastening pin 110 to fasten the plates 601, 602. The diameter of the holes 611, 612 is set to be equal to or slightly larger than the outer diameter of the fastening sleeve 120 in the ready position shown in Fig. 1A, so that the fastening clip 100 can be easily inserted into the holes 411, 412. The hole 612 in the lower second plate 602 matches the size of the fastening clip 100, so that when the fastening clip 100 is in the functional position, the fastening sleeve 120 can abut against the lower edge 619 of the hole 612 to fasten the first and second plates 601, 602.

[0040] Fig. 7A shows a cross-sectional view of the fastening clip 100 in the ready position, fitted into the holes of two plates of the second thickness. As shown in Fig. 7A, the fastening clip 100 is inserted into the hole 611 of the first plate 601 and the hole 612 of the second plate 602, and the upper surface of the first plate 601 contacts the lower surface 303 of the base part 301. At this time, the fastening clip 100 is in the ready position, so that the fastening clip 100 can be easily slid into the hole 612 of the plate. Also at this time, the first and second plates 601, 602 are not fastened together.

[0041] 7B shows a cross-sectional view of the fastening clip 100 in the functional position, fitted between two plates of the second thickness. As shown in FIG. 7B, the lower surface 216 of the head 211 of the fastening pin 110 is close to the upper surface 302 of the base part 301 of the fastening sleeve 120. At this time, the clamping parts 322a, 322b, 322c, 322d expand outward, so that the outer surface of each retaining wing contacts and abuts against the lower edge 619 of the hole 612 of the second plate 602. Thus, the first and second plates 601, 602 are fastened together. Since the total thickness of the two plates of the second thickness is large, the lower edge 619 of the hole 612 of the second plate 602 contacts the retaining wing lower parts 342c, 342d of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314.

[0042] The total thickness of at least two plates fastened in Fig. 7A and 7B is the second thickness. Fig. 7B shows the relationship between the fastening clip 100 and the first and second plates 601, 602 in the functional position. As shown in Fig. 7B, when the fastening clip 100 is inserted into the holes 601, 602 and reaches the functional position, the overlapping portion 701 of the second plate 602 shown in Fig. 7A and each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 deform into the hole 612, so that each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 applies a certain force to the second plate 602 and presses the second plate 602 and the first plate 601.

[0043] While the fastening clip 100 is changing from the ready position shown in FIG. 7A to the functional position shown in FIG. 7B, the operator presses down on the fastening pin 110, causing the retaining portion 241 to contact the inwardly inclined bevels of the clamping portions 322a, 322b, 322c, 322d and forcing the clamping portions 322a, 322b, 322c, 322d outward, causing the outer surfaces of each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 to be pushed outward and deformed by the holes 611 and 612. When the fastening pin 110 reaches its functional position, the outer surface of the upper part of each of the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 abuts against the lower edge 619 of the hole 612 in the second plate 602, thereby pressing the first and second plates 601, 602 together to fasten the first and second plates 601, 602 together.

[0044] As shown in FIG. 7B, when two plates 601, 602 of the second thickness are fastened, the overlapping portion 701 is relatively large, so that the overlapping portion 701 is close to the thicker retaining wing lower portion 342a, 342b, 342c, 342d, and thus a large external force is required to deform the two pairs of retaining wings 311, 312, 313, 314 so that the overlapping portion 701 enters the hole 612. That is, a large pushing force is required in the conventional fastening clip. In one embodiment of the present application, the thickness of the retaining wing lower portion 342a, 342b of the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 is smaller than the thickness of the retaining wing lower portion 342c, 342d of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314, and thus the external force required to deform the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314 and enter the hole 612 is reduced, that is, the pushing force of the fastening clip 100 is reduced. At the same time, the outer surfaces of the pair of second retention wings 312, 314 have raised ribs 337e, 337f, 337g, 337h. Similar to the raised ribs 327e, 327f, 327g, 327h of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313, the raised ribs 337e, 337f, 337g, 337h can increase the fastening force of the fastening clip 100 against the first and second plates 601, 602 of the second thickness, so that the first and second plates 601, 602 are less likely to come loose. The principle by which the raised ribs 337e, 337f, 337g, and 337h of the pair of second retention wings increase the fastening force is the same as the principle by which the raised ribs 327e, 327f, 327g, and 327h of the pair of first retention wings 311, 313 increase the fastening force, and therefore will not be described in detail again here.

[0045] When the fastening clip 100 is used to fasten at least two plates of a second thickness, the clamping portions 322a, 322b of the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 are thinned, so that when the fastening clip 100 is inserted into the plates of the second thickness to be fastened, the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 are more easily deformed, and the pressing force required for the fastening clip 100 to reach the functional position is reduced. In order to prevent the two plates from loosening while the pressing force is reduced, the outer surfaces of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314 are also provided with raised ribs 337e, 337f, 337g, 337h. The positions of the raised ribs 337e, 337f, 337g, 337h correspond to the thicknesses of the plates of the second thickness to be fastened, and the raised ribs 337e, 337f, 337g, 337h increase the fastening force of the fastening clip 100 to at least two plates of the second thickness. That is, by thinning the clamping portions 322a, 322b of the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 and providing raised ribs 337e, 337f, 337g, 337h on the outer surfaces of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314, when the fastening clip 100 fastens at least two plates of a second thickness, the pressing force is reduced and the fastening force remains unchanged or is slightly reduced so as to meet the fastening force requirements.

[0046] 7A and 7B, the lower edge 619 of the hole 612 of the second plate 602 in the plate to be fastened abuts the bevel 328e, 328g of the upper raised rib 327e, 327g. In another embodiment of the present application, a plate to be fastened that is slightly thicker than the total thickness of the first and second plates 601, 602 can also abut the bevel 329f, 329h of the lower raised rib 337f, 337h to achieve a similar technical effect. In another embodiment of the present application, the total thickness of the two plates to be fastened is greater than the distance from the lower raised rib to the lower surface of the base portion 301, so that the plates cannot just abut the bevel of the raised rib, but the crests 333e, 333g of the raised ribs 337e, 337g or the crests 333f, 333h of the raised ribs 337f, 337h abut the inner surface of the hole 612. Compared with a fastening clip without a raised rib, the deformation of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314 is greater, so that the two plates to be fastened are less likely to loosen and fall off. When at least two plates of a second thickness are fastened, the two pairs of retaining wings of the fastening clip 100 cooperate to provide a fastening force, but the contribution of the pair of second retaining wings 312, 314 to the fastening force of the fastening clip 100 is greater than the contribution of the pair of first retaining wings 311, 313 to the fastening force of the fastening clip 100.

[0047] FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a fastening clip according to another embodiment of the present application. The embodiment shown in FIG. 8 is similar to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A, except that the number and size of raised ribs on the two pairs of retaining wings 811, 812, 813, 814 of the fastening clip 800 in FIG. 8 are different from those of the fastening clip 100 shown in FIG. 1A. As shown in FIG. 8, similar to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A, the structure of the pair of first retaining wings 811, 813 of the fastening clip 800 is symmetrical with respect to the central axis of the fastening clip, and the structure of the pair of second retaining wings 812, 814 is symmetrical with respect to the central axis of the fastening clip. The structure of the pair of first retaining wings will be described below by taking the retaining wing 811 as an example, and the structure of the pair of second retaining wings will be described by taking the retaining wing 812 as an example.

[0048] The outer surface of the retaining wing 811 has five circumferentially extending raised ribs 827a-827e, which are arranged side by side at the end of the retaining wing 811 near the base 301. Since the structure of each of the five raised ribs is the same, the structure of the raised ribs on the outer surface of the retaining wing 811 will be described below by taking the first rib 827a, which is closest to the base 301, as an example. Similar to the fastening clip 100, the raised rib 827a has an upper bottom 832a and a crest 831a in succession from top to bottom, and the raised rib 827a transitions gradually from the upper bottom 832a to the crest 831a to form an upper bevel 828a, which is used to abut against at least two plates. The retaining wing 811 is used to cooperate with at least two plates having a relatively thin thickness. The distance between the crest of each raised rib of the retaining wing 811 and the crest of the adjacent raised rib is a predetermined value D, that is, the five raised ribs of the retaining wing 811 are evenly distributed in the axial direction of the fastening clip.

[0049] The outer surface of the retention wing 812 has six circumferentially extending raised ribs 827f-827k, which are arranged side by side and located at the end of the retention wing 811 away from the base 301. Since the structure of each of the six raised ribs 827f-827k is the same, the structure of the raised ribs on the outer surface of the retention wing 812 will be described below by taking the raised rib 827f closest to the base 301 as an example. Similar to the raised rib 827a, the raised rib 827f has an upper bottom 832f and a crest 831f in succession from top to bottom, and the raised rib 827f transitions gradually from the upper bottom 832f to the crest 831f to form an upper bevel 828f, which is used to abut against at least two plates. The retention wing 812 is used to cooperate with at least two plates having a relatively large thickness. The distance between the top of each raised rib of the retaining wing 812 and the top of the adjacent raised rib is equal to a predetermined value D, i.e., the six raised ribs of the retaining wing 812 are evenly distributed in the axial direction of the fastening clip. In addition, the distance between the top of the highest raised rib 827f among the six raised ribs on the outer surface of the retaining wing 812 and the top of the lowest raised rib 827e among the five raised ribs on the outer surface of the retaining wing 811 is equal to a predetermined value D, so that in the axial direction of the fastening clip 800, the raised ribs of each of the retaining wings 811 and 812 are evenly distributed. Similarly, in the axial direction of the fastening clip 800, the raised ribs of each of the retaining wings 813 and 814 are evenly distributed. Compared with the fastening clip 100, the fastening clip 800 can be adapted to at least two plates of more types of thickness.

[0050] In another embodiment, the height of the highest raised rib among the plurality of raised ribs on the outer surface of the retention wing 812 is higher than the height of the lowest raised rib among the plurality of raised ribs on the outer surface of the retention wing 811, i.e., the radial protrusion of the plurality of raised ribs on the outer surface of the retention wing 812 overlaps with the radial protrusion of the plurality of raised ribs on the outer surface of the retention wing 811. The above embodiment can also achieve the technical effect of the fastening clip 800.

[0051] In the axial direction of the fastening clip 800, the distance A between the top of the highest raised rib 827a among the multiple raised ribs on the outer surface of the pair of first retention wings 811, 813 and the bottom of the lowest raised rib 827k among the multiple raised ribs on the outer surface of the pair of first retention wings 812, 814 occupies a length that exceeds 65% of the length of the two pairs of retention wings 811, 812, 813, 814.

[0052] When at least two plates are fastened, the fastened plates abut against the upper bevel of the raised rib, and the raised ribs of the fastening clip 800 are numerous and closely arranged, so that they can accommodate plates of various thicknesses to be fastened. In other embodiments, the number and size of the raised ribs can be designed according to actual needs.

[0053] The fastening clip of the present application can be adapted to plates of different thicknesses, for example plates with a total thickness of 2mm to 7mm, so that when the fastening clip fastens at least two thin plates of a first thickness, the fastening force of the fastening clip on the at least two plates is increased to prevent the two plates from loosening. When at least two thick plates of a second thickness are fastened, a fastening force that meets the requirements is ensured with a small insertion force. Of course, the size of the fastening clip of the present application can be proportionally increased or decreased to fit at least two thicker or thinner plates.

[0054] While only certain features of the invention have been illustrated and described herein, various improvements and modifications can be made by those skilled in the art, and it is therefore to be understood that the appended claims are intended to cover all such improvements and modifications which fall within the true spirit and scope of the invention.
