Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a flush toilet, and more particularly to a flush toilet that is washed with washing water to discharge dirt.
Background Art
[0002] Conventionally, as a flush toilet that is washed with washing water to discharge dirt, for example, as described in Patent Documents 1 and 2, in a skirt portion that forms the outer peripheral portion of a ceramic toilet body, at least a part on the rear side of the central portion in the front-rear direction of the toilet body is removably attached with a cover member so as to cover from the outside. These cover members are removed, for example, during maintenance, during a toilet washing operation during a power outage, and during cleaning of the toilet body, and it is possible to wipe and clean the surface of the toilet body. Further, in the conventional flush toilet described in Patent Document 1 mentioned above, the front edge portion of the cover member attached to the rear end portion of the skirt portion of the toilet body is inclined downward from the upper end portion on the front side to the lower end portion on the rear side along an inclined surface that inclines downward from the upper end portion on the front side to the lower end portion on the rear side at the rear end surface of the skirt portion of the toilet body. Further, when the cover member is attached to the toilet body, the front edge portion of the cover member is elastically deformed outward while contacting the rear end surface (inclined surface) of the skirt portion of the toilet body, and then is biased in the direction of contacting the inclined surface. Also, a single strip of sponge (buffer body) is adhered to the inner surface (back side surface) of the front edge portion of the cover member, and in a state where the cover member is attached to the toilet body, the sponge on the back side surface of the front edge portion of the cover member contacts the rear end surface (inclined surface) of the skirt portion of the toilet body without a gap. Furthermore, in the conventional flush toilet described in Patent Document 2 mentioned above, a fixing member such as a hook-and-loop fastener is provided on the attachment surface of the attachment portion of the cover member, while a fixing member such as a hook-and-loop fastener is also adhered to the attachment surface on the side of the ceramic toilet body to which the attachment portion of the cover member is attached, and the hook-and-loop fastener of the attachment portion of the cover member can be engaged.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] However, in the conventional flushing toilet described in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, when sewage such as small amounts of water from the user side or the toilet body side accidentally splashes onto a part of the upper surface of the toilet body and enters the gap between the toilet body and the cover member, the sewage adheres and stays on the inner surface of the front edge of the cover member attached to the toilet body, which causes problems such as the generation of odors and dirt. In addition, when sewage penetrates into the adhesion surface (adhesive surface) between the inner surface of the front edge of the cover member and the sponge, the function of the sponge as a buffer is impaired, and the adhesion force between the sponge and the cover member also weakens, resulting in the problem that the sponge itself peels off from the cover member. Moreover, when using a ceramic toilet body with poor mechanical dimensional accuracy, there is a major premise that it is difficult to achieve various considerations. Furthermore, in the conventional flushing toilet described in the above-mentioned Patent Document 2, a hook-and-loop fastener is adhered to the mounting surface (ceramic surface) of the ceramic toilet body to which the mounting portion of the cover member is attached. Therefore, when sewage that has entered the gap between the toilet body and the cover member penetrates into the adhesion surface between the mounting surface (ceramic surface) of the toilet body and the hook-and-loop fastener, the adhesion force of the adhesion surface weakens, and there is a problem that the cover member may come off from the toilet body together with the hook-and-loop fastener. Therefore, in recent years, there has been a demand for effectively suppressing the unintentional detachment of the cover member from the toilet body together with the fixing member such as a hook-and-loop fastener due to the sewage that has entered the gap between the toilet body and the cover member. This has become an issue that needs to be addressed.
[0006] Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems of the prior art and the issues demanded in recent years. The object of the present invention is to provide a flushing toilet that can effectively suppress the unintentional detachment of the cover member from the toilet body together with the fixing member due to the sewage that has entered the gap between the toilet body and the cover member.
Means for Solving the Problem
[0007] In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention is a flushing toilet that is washed with washing water to discharge dirt, and includes a bowl portion that receives dirt, a skirt portion provided on at least the front and both left and right outer peripheral portions of the bowl portion, and a rear side wall portion provided behind the skirt portion. The toilet body is provided with a boundary wall surface that forms a boundary wall surface on the rear end side of the skirt portion, and a mounting surface that is provided on the rear side of the boundary wall surface and includes a mounting portion of the cover member and is capable of guiding the mounting portion of the cover member to the fixing region of the mounting surface. The mounting portion of the cover member is fixed to the fixing region of the mounting surface by a fixing member. The fixing member is arranged to be spaced apart rearward from the boundary wall surface so as to form a gap between the fixing member and the boundary wall surface. In the present invention configured as described above, in a conventional flushing toilet, for example, when sewage such as small amounts of water from the user side or the toilet body side accidentally splashes onto a part of the upper surface of the toilet body, etc., it enters the gap between the toilet body and the cover member, and the sewage that has come into contact with the toilet body or the cover member spreads along the contact surface with the toilet body or the cover member, adhering to the mounting portion of the cover member or the mounting surface of a part of the toilet body, or adhering to the fixing member that fixes the mounting portion of the cover member to a part of the toilet body. There has been such a problem. In particular, in a conventional flushing toilet, as a fixing member for fixing the mounting portion of the cover member to the fixing area of the mounting surface of the toilet body, for example, when a member such as a hook-and-loop fastener that is adhered to the mounting surface with an adhesive or the like is employed, there has been a problem that sewage enters the adhesive surface between the hook-and-loop fastener and the mounting surface, the adhesive strength of the adhesive surface weakens, and there is a risk that the cover member may come off the toilet body together with the hook-and-loop fastener. Therefore, in the present invention, the guiding wall portion on the rear side wall of the toilet body enables the mounting portion of the cover member to be guided up to the fixing area of the mounting surface, and even when a fixing member for fixing the mounting portion of the cover member to the fixing area of the mounting surface is adhered in the fixing area of the mounting surface of this guiding wall portion, this fixing member is arranged to be spaced apart rearward from the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion on the rear side wall of the toilet body, so that a gap can be formed between the fixing member and the boundary wall surface. As a result, even if sewage such as small amounts of water from the user side or the toilet body side accidentally splashes onto a part of the upper surface of the toilet body, etc., and enters the gap between the rear side wall of the toilet body and the cover member, the sewage that has come into contact with the toilet body or the cover member will flow down within the gap between the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion on the rear side wall of the toilet body and the fixing member on the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to suppress sewage from adhering to the fixing member or entering and adhering to the adhesive surface between the fixing area of the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion and the fixing member, so that it is possible to effectively suppress the cover member from unintentionally coming off the toilet body together with the fixing member.
[0008] In the present invention, preferably, the mounting surface of the guiding portion includes a reference surface where the fixing region is not provided, a fixing region surface where the fixing region is provided, and a step portion formed so as to project the fixing region surface in an out-of-plane direction with respect to the reference surface. In the present invention configured as described above, even if sewage such as small water from the user side or the toilet body side accidentally splashes on a part of the upper surface of the toilet body or the like and enters the gap between the rear side wall portion of the toilet body and the cover member, since the step portion that projects the fixing region surface of the mounting surface of the guiding portion in an out-of-plane direction with respect to the reference surface is formed, the sewage will flow down within the gap between the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body and the fixing member of the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion without overcoming the step portion. Further, due to the step portion provided between the reference surface and the fixing region surface of the mounting surface of the guiding portion, the adhesion surface between the fixing region surface and the fixing member can be projected in an out-of-plane direction more than the reference surface, so that it is possible to effectively suppress the sewage from entering and adhering to the adhesion surface between the fixing region surface and the fixing member. Therefore, it is possible to more effectively suppress the cover member from being unintentionally detached from the toilet body together with the fixing member.
[0009] In the present invention, preferably, the upper end portion of the boundary wall surface is provided on the front side of the lower end portion of the boundary wall surface. In the present invention configured as described above, since the upper end portion of the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion on the rear side wall portion of the toilet body is provided on the front side of the lower end portion of the boundary wall surface, the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion on the rear side wall portion of the toilet body can be made into an inclined surface that slopes downward from the front side and the upper end side of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body toward the rear side and the lower end side. Therefore, even if, for example, sewage such as small water from the user side during standing urination in front of the toilet body accidentally splashes near the upper end portion of the boundary wall surface of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body, the sewage can be smoothly flowed down to the rear side and the lower end side while being transmitted along the inclined surface that slopes downward from the front side and the upper end portion side of the boundary wall surface of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body without being retained near the upper end portion of the boundary wall surface. Therefore, it is possible to more effectively suppress the intrusion and adhesion of sewage to the adhesion surface between the fixed region of the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion and the fixing member, so that it is possible to more effectively suppress the unintentional detachment of the cover member from the toilet body together with the fixing member. On the other hand, in the present invention, although not adopted, if the upper end portion of the boundary wall surface of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body is provided on the rear side of the lower end portion of the boundary wall surface, the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body becomes an inclined surface that slopes downward from the rear side and upper end side of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body toward the front side and lower end side. As a result, the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion provided on the rear side from the inside of the boundary wall portion, and the fixing member fixed to the fixed region of this mounting surface are positioned below the downwardly inclined surface of the boundary wall surface. Therefore, a part of the sewage flowing down along this inclined surface toward the front side and the lower end side falls onto the mounting surface or the fixing member facing below the inclined surface, etc., and the risk of sewage intruding and adhering to the adhesion surface between the fixing member and the fixed region of the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion from an unexpected direction increases. Therefore, according to the present invention, since the upper end portion of the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body is provided on the front side of the lower end portion of the boundary wall surface, it is possible to suppress the intrusion of sewage from an unexpected direction into the adhesion surface between the fixing member and the fixed region of the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion, and it is possible to effectively suppress the unintentional detachment of the cover member from the toilet body together with the fixing member.
[0010] In the present invention, preferably, further, it has a local sanitary cleaning device that enables the user's local area to be cleaned, and this local sanitary cleaning device includes a housing provided on the upper surface on the rear side of the bowl portion in the toilet body and incorporating functional parts, and the position in the front-rear direction of the lower end portion on the front side of this housing is arranged at substantially the same position in the front-rear direction as the upper end portion of the boundary wall portion in the rear side wall portion of the toilet body where the upper end portion on the front side of the cover member is attached. In the present invention configured as described above, a housing incorporating a functional unit in a local hygiene washing device that enables washing of a user's local area is provided on the upper surface at the rear side of the bowl portion in the toilet body, and the position in the front-rear direction of the lower end portion on the front side of this housing is substantially the same as the position in the front-rear direction of the upper end portion of the boundary wall portion on the rear side wall portion of the toilet body where the upper end portion on the front side of the cover member is attached. Thus, even if, for example, sewage such as small water from the user side during standing urination in front of the toilet body splashes onto the upper part of the housing of the local hygiene washing device and flows down to the lower end portion on the front side of the housing, this sewage can be made to flow downward along the boundary wall surface from the upper end portion of the boundary wall portion on the rear side wall portion of the toilet body, which is arranged at substantially the same position in the front-rear direction as the position in the front-rear direction of the lower end portion on the front side of the housing. Therefore, it is possible to effectively suppress sewage from the local hygiene washing device side from entering the adhesion surface between the fixing member and the fixing area of the attachment surface of the guiding wall portion from an unexpected direction. Thus, it is possible to more effectively suppress the cover member from accidentally coming off the toilet body together with the fixing member.
[0011] In the present invention, preferably, the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion on the rear side wall portion of the toilet body is provided extending from the upper end portion to the lower end portion of the toilet body. In the present invention configured as described above, even if sewage such as small water splashing onto the upper end portion of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body enters the gap between the rear side wall portion of the toilet body and the cover member and then splashes onto the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion, since this boundary wall surface is provided extending from the upper end portion to the lower end portion of the toilet body, it is possible to prevent the sewage flowing down along the boundary wall surface from stagnating in the middle between the upper end portion and the lower end portion of the toilet body, and the sewage can be made to flow smoothly to the lower end portion of the toilet body. In addition, regarding the sewage flowing down along the boundary wall surface, by stagnating midway between the upper end and the lower end of the toilet body, it is possible to more effectively suppress the sewage from entering the adhesion surface between the fixing member and the fixing area of the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion from an unexpected direction, and it is possible to more effectively suppress the cover member from unintentionally coming off the toilet body together with the fixing member. Furthermore, after the sewage flows down the boundary wall surface, it oozes out from the lower end of the toilet body, so that the oozing of the sewage can be detected at an early stage, and thus the cleaning property can be improved.
[0012] In the present invention, preferably, the step portion includes a vertical wall portion formed to extend in the longitudinal direction from the upper and front side to the lower and rear side on the mounting surface, and a horizontal wall portion extending in the lateral width direction of the mounting surface, and the vertical dimension (L1) of the vertical wall portion is set to be larger than the lateral dimension (L2) of the horizontal wall portion. In the present invention configured as described above, in the unlikely event that the upper surface of the toilet body above the step portion on the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion is wetted with sewage or the like, and sewage gets on the vicinity of the upper end of the horizontal wall portion of the step portion, etc., since the vertical dimension (L1) of the vertical wall portion of the step portion is set to be larger than the lateral dimension (L2) of the horizontal wall portion (L1 > L2), the sewage does not stay near the upper end of the step portion (such as the horizontal wall portion), but easily flows in the lateral width direction along the horizontal wall portion of the step portion, and then easily flows down along the vertical wall portion of the step portion. Therefore, the sewage that has flowed into the vicinity of the upper end of the step portion can be smoothly made to flow down within the gap between the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion of the rear side wall portion of the toilet body and the fixing member of the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion. Thus, it is possible to prevent the sewage from stagnating midway between the upper end and the lower end of the toilet body and make it flow smoothly to the lower end of the toilet body. Therefore, it is possible to more effectively suppress the sewage from entering the adhesion surface between the fixing member and the fixing area surface of the mounting surface of the guiding wall portion from an unexpected direction, and it is possible to more effectively suppress the cover member from unintentionally coming off the toilet body together with the fixing member.
Advantages of the Invention
[0013] According to the flushing toilet of the present invention, it is possible to effectively suppress the cover member from being unintentionally detached from the toilet body together with the fixing member due to the sewage that has entered the gap between the toilet body and the cover member.

Also, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the front-rear direction position P1 of the lower end portion 14d on the front side of the housing 14b of the local sanitary washing device 14 is substantially the same as the front-rear direction position P2 of the upper end portion 28a of the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 of the toilet body 2 to which the upper end portion 6b on the front side of the cover member 6 is attached.
[0023] Next, FIG. 6 is an enlarged partial side view showing the attached surface 30 of the guide wall portion 26 and a portion of its surface fastener 36 on the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 of the flushing toilet 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 5. FIG. 7 is an enlarged partial perspective view of the boundary wall portion 24 and the guide wall portion 26 on the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 of the flushing toilet 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention as viewed obliquely from above. Further, FIG. 8 is a longitudinal sectional view taken along line VIII-VIII of FIG. 5. FIG. 9 is a plane sectional perspective view taken along line IX-IX of FIG. 6. Further, FIG. 10 is a plane sectional perspective view taken along line X-X of FIG. 6. As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the surface fastener 36 adhered to the fixed region A1 of the attached surface 30 of the guide wall portion 26 of the toilet body 2 is disposed spaced apart rearward from the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 on the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2. Thereby, a gap G1 is formed between the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 on the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 and the front end surface 36a of the surface fastener 36 on the attached surface 30 of the guide wall portion 26 (see FIGS. 5 and 6).
[0024] Next, as shown in FIGS. 7 to 10, the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 on the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 includes a reference surface 30a where the fixed region A1 is not provided, a fixed region surface 30b where the fixed region A1 is provided, and a step portion G2 formed so as to project the fixed region surface 30b in the out-of-plane direction (the direction of the surface normal vector N) with respect to the reference surface 30a. That is, as shown in FIG. 10, the surface fastener 36 is not adhered to the reference surface 30a where the fixed region A1 is not provided on the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26. On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 7 to 9, the surface fastener 36 is adhered only on the fixed region surface 30b of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26. Also, as shown in FIG. 9, the adhesion surface C1 between the fixed region surface 30b and the surface fastener 36 is arranged in the out-of-plane direction (outside in the horizontal left-right direction) with respect to the reference surface 30a by the step portion G2. Further, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 8, the step portion G2 includes a vertical wall portion 30c formed to extend in the longitudinal direction from the upper and front side to the lower and rear side on the mounting surface 30, and a horizontal wall portion 30d extending in the lateral width direction of the mounting surface 30. Also, the vertical dimension L1 of the vertical wall portion 30c in FIG. 6 is set to be larger than the lateral dimension L2 of the horizontal wall portion (L1 > L2).
[0025] Next, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 10, the operation of the flush toilet 1 according to the above-described embodiment of the present invention will be described. First, according to the flush toilet 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention, in a conventional flush toilet, for example, when sewage such as small water from the user side or the toilet body side accidentally splashes on a part of the upper surface of the toilet body, it enters the gap between the toilet body and the cover member, and the sewage that has come into contact with the toilet body or the cover member spreads along the contact surface between the toilet body and the cover member and adheres to the mounting portion of the cover member or a part of the mounting surface of the toilet body, or adheres to the fixing member that fixes the mounting portion of the cover member to a part of the toilet body. In particular, in a conventional flush toilet, when a member such as a surface fastener that is adhered to the mounting surface by an adhesive or the like is employed as a fixing member for fixing the mounting portion of the cover member to the fixing region of the mounting surface of the toilet body, there is a problem that sewage may penetrate into the adhesion surface between the surface fastener and the mounting surface, the adhesive force of the adhesion surface may weaken, and the cover member may come off from the toilet body together with the surface fastener. Therefore, in the flush toilet 1 of the present embodiment, the guiding wall portion 26 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 can guide the front side mounting portion 32a of the cover member 6 to the fixing region A1 of the mounting surface 30, and even when the surface fastener 34 of the front side mounting portion 32a of the cover member 6 is fixed to the fixing region A1 of the mounting surface 30 by the surface fastener 36 adhered to the fixing region A1 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26, the surface fastener 36 is arranged to be spaced apart rearward from the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion 24, so that a gap G1 can be formed between the surface fastener 36 and the boundary wall surface 28. As a result, even if sewage W such as small water from the user side in front of the toilet body 2 or the toilet body 2 side accidentally splashes on a part of the upper surface of the toilet body 2 and enters the gap between the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 and the cover member 6, the sewage W that has contacted the toilet body 2 or the cover member 6 will flow down within the gap G1 between the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 and the surface fastener 36 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 (see FIGS. 6 and 7). Therefore, it is possible to prevent the sewage W from adhering to the surface fastener 36 of the guiding wall portion 26 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 or the surface fastener 34 of the mounting surface 32c of the front side mounting portion 32a of the cover member 6 attached thereto. In addition, since it is possible to prevent the sewage W from penetrating and adhering to the adhesion surface C1 (see FIGS. 7 to 9) between the fixing region A1 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 and the surface fastener 36, it is possible to effectively prevent the cover member 6 from accidentally coming off from the toilet body together with the surface fasteners 34 and 36.
[0026] Next, according to the flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, in the unlikely event that sewage W such as small water from the user side or the toilet body 2 side accidentally splashes on a part of the upper surface of the toilet body 2 or the like and enters the gap between the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 and the cover member 6, even in such a case, a step portion G2 is formed that protrudes the fixed region surface 30b of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 in the out-of-plane direction (the direction of the surface normal vector N) with respect to the reference surface 30a (see FIGS. 7 to 9). As a result, the sewage W does not cross the step portion G2 and flows down within the gap G1 between the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 and the surface fastener 36 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 (see FIGS. 6 and 7). Further, due to the step portion G2 provided between the reference surface 30a and the fixed region surface 30b of the mounting surface 30 in the guiding wall portion 26 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2, the adhesive surface C1 between the fixed region surface 30b of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 and the surface fastener 36 can be made to protrude in the out-of-plane direction (the direction of the surface normal vector N) more than the reference surface 30a, and it is possible to effectively suppress the sewage W from entering and adhering to the adhesive surface C1 (see FIGS. 7 to 9). Therefore, it is possible to more effectively suppress the cover member 6 from unintentionally coming off from the toilet body 2 together with the surface fasteners 34 and 36.
[0027] Moreover, according to the flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the upper end portion 28a of the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 in the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 is provided on the front side of the lower end portion 28b of the boundary wall surface 28. As a result, the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 in the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 can be made into an inclined surface that slopes downward from the front side and the upper end side to the rear side and the lower end side of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2. Therefore, even if, for example, as shown in FIG. 7, sewage W such as small amounts of water from the user side during standing urination in front of the toilet body 2 splashes near the upper end 28a of the boundary wall surface 28 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2, the sewage W can be smoothly drained downward along the inclined surface S1 (see FIGS. 6 and 7) that slopes downward from the front side and the upper end 28a side of the boundary wall surface 28 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 without being retained near the upper end 28a of the boundary wall surface 28. Therefore, it is possible to more effectively suppress the intrusion and adhesion of the sewage W to the adhesion surface C1 between the fixed region A1 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 and the surface fastener 36. As a result, it is possible to more effectively suppress the unintentional detachment of the cover member 6 from the toilet body 2 together with the surface fasteners 34 and 36. On the other hand, in this embodiment, although not adopted, if the upper end of the boundary wall surface 28 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 is provided on the rear side of the lower end of the boundary wall surface 28, the boundary wall surface of the boundary wall portion 24 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 becomes an inclined surface that slopes downward from the rear side and the upper end side of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 toward the front side and the lower end side. As a result, the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 provided on the rear side from the inside of the boundary wall portion 24, and the surface fastener 36 fixed to the fixed region A1 of this mounting surface 30 will be located below the downwardly inclined surface S1 of the boundary wall surface 28. Therefore, a part of the sewage W flowing downward along the inclined surface S1 toward the front side and the lower end side may fall onto the mounting surface 30 or the surface fastener 36 facing below the inclined surface S1, etc., increasing the risk of the sewage W entering and adhering to the adhesion surface C1 between the surface fastener 36 and the fixed region A1 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 from an unexpected direction. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the upper end portion 28a of the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 is provided on the front side of the lower end portion 28b of the boundary wall surface 28. Thereby, it is possible to suppress the sewage W from entering the adhesion surface C1 between the hook-and-loop fastener 36 and the fixing region A1 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 from an unexpected direction, and it is possible to effectively suppress the cover member 6 from unintentionally coming off from the toilet body 2 together with the hook-and-loop fasteners 34 and 36.
[0028] Furthermore, according to the flush toilet 1 of the present embodiment, a housing 14b incorporating a functional portion 14a in the local sanitary cleaning device 14 that enables the cleaning of the user's private part is provided on the upper surface 10a of the rim portion 10 on the rear side of the bowl portion 8 in the toilet body 2. In addition, the front-rear direction position P1 of the front lower end portion 14d of the housing 14b is arranged at substantially the same front-rear direction position as the front-rear direction position P2 of the upper end portion 28a of the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 of the toilet body 2 where the front upper end portion 6b of the cover member 6 is attached. Thereby, even if, for example, as shown in FIG. 5, sewage W such as small water from the user side during standing urination in front of the toilet body 2 hits the upper part such as the upper surface (inclined surface 14c) of the housing 14b of the local sanitary cleaning device 14 and flows down to the front lower end portion 14d of the housing 14b, with respect to this sewage W, it can be made to flow downward along the boundary wall surface 28 from the upper end portion 28a of the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 arranged at substantially the same front-rear direction position as the front-rear direction position of the front lower end portion 14d of the housing 14b. Therefore, it is possible to effectively suppress the sewage W from the local sanitary cleaning device 14 from entering the adhesion surface C1 between the hook-and-loop fastener 36 and the fixing region A1 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 from an unexpected direction. Thus, it is possible to more effectively suppress the cover member 6 from unintentionally coming off from the toilet body 2 together with the hook-and-loop fasteners 34 and 36.
[0029] Moreover, according to the flushing toilet 1 of the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, in the unlikely event that sewage W such as small water splashes on the upper end 22a of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 and enters the gap between the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 and the cover member 6, and then splashes onto the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24, this boundary wall surface 28 is provided from the upper end 22a to the lower end 22b of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the sewage W flowing down along the boundary wall surface 28 from stagnating midway between the upper end 22a and the lower end 22b of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2, and it can flow smoothly down to the lower end 22b of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2. In addition, regarding the sewage W flowing down along the boundary wall surface 28, by stagnating midway between the upper end 22a and the lower end 22b of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2, it is possible to more effectively suppress the sewage W from invading the adhesion surface C1 between the hook-and-loop fastener 36 and the fixed region A1 of the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 from an unexpected direction, and it is possible to more effectively suppress the cover member 6 from accidentally coming off the toilet body 2 together with the hook-and-loop fasteners 34 and 36. Furthermore, after the sewage W flows down the boundary wall surface 28 and oozes out from the lower end 22b of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2, it is possible to quickly detect the oozing of the sewage W, so that the cleanability can be improved.
[0030] Furthermore, according to the flushing toilet 1 of the present embodiment, in the unlikely event that the upper surface of the toilet body 2 above the step portion G2 between the inner end 28c of the boundary wall surface 28 and the mounting surface 30 of the guiding wall portion 26 is wetted with sewage or the like, and sewage splashes near the upper end of the step portion G2, as shown in FIGS. 6, 8, and 9, the vertical dimension L1 of the vertical wall portion 30c of the step portion G2 is set to be larger than the horizontal dimension L2 of the horizontal wall portion 30d of the step portion G2 (L1 > L2). Thereby, the sewage W1 does not stay near the upper end (such as the horizontal wall portion 30d) of the step portion G2, but easily flows in the horizontal direction along the horizontal wall portion 30d of the step portion G2, and then easily flows down along the vertical wall portion 30c of the step portion G2. Therefore, the sewage W1 flowing into the vicinity of the upper end of the step portion G2 can smoothly flow down within the gap G1 between the boundary wall surface 28 of the boundary wall portion 24 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2 and the surface fastener 36 of the mounting surface 30 of the guide wall portion 26. Thus, it is possible to prevent the sewage W1 from stagnating midway between the upper end portion 22a and the lower end portion 22b of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2, and the sewage W1 can smoothly flow down to the lower end portion 22b of the toilet body 2. Therefore, it is possible to more effectively suppress the sewage W from entering the adhesive surface C1 between the surface fastener 36 and the fixed region surface 30b of the mounting surface 30 of the guide wall portion 26 from an unexpected direction, and it is possible to more effectively suppress the cover member 6 from unintentionally coming off from the toilet body 2 together with the surface fasteners 34 and 36.
[0031] In addition, in the present embodiment, surface fasteners 34 and 36 are respectively adopted as fixing members for fixing the front side mounting portion 32 of the cover member 6 to the fixing region A1 of the mounting surface 30 of the guide wall portion 26 of the rear side wall portion 22 of the toilet body 2, and a form in which one is a male side fastener member and the other is a female side fastener member has been described. However, as the fixing member, other forms than the surface fastener may be adopted. For example, a magnet or the like may be adopted. Also, the number of each of the plurality of surface fasteners 34 and 36 is not limited to three, and may be set to a plurality other than three.
