AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing acupressure bands, such as those described in Patent Document 1, face challenges in accurately maintaining pressure on acupressure points due to movable protrusions and can cause discomfort or pain with exposed magnet tips.

Method used

The acupressure band features a band body made of elastic material with protrusions that have a hard core material embedded on the inner surface, covered by the elastic material. This design ensures the protrusions remain fixed at specific positions, providing accurate pressure while being soft on the skin. Additionally, the band can incorporate a small vibrator for enhanced acupressure effects and includes a mark to aid in aligning the protrusion with the acupoint.

Benefits of technology

The band effectively maintains accurate pressure on acupressure points, providing comfort and preventing slipping, while also offering improved acupressure effects through micro-vibrations. The design ensures a gentle touch and avoids skin irritation or pain.

Abstract

To provide a pressure point pressing band which can press a pressure point properly, and excellent in wearing feeling.SOLUTION: A pressure point pressing band comprises: a band body which can be wound around a part of a body; and a protrusion part capable of pressing a pressure point and being provided on an internal face contacting the body. The band body is formed of an elastic member such as silicon rubber, in at least a periphery of the protrusion part. The protrusion part is formed by integrally embedding a hard core material in an internal face side of the band body and covering the same with the elastic material. Some embodiments may employ a small size vibrator instead of the core material. In addition, an optional mark indicating a position of the protrusion part is provided on an external face side of the band body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

Claims

1. The band body has a length that allows the band to be wrapped around the wrist, and a protrusion that protrudes from one location on the inner surface of the band body that contacts the wrist and is capable of pressing an acupressure point, the band body is made of an elastic material such as silicone rubber at least around the protrusion, and the vertical width around the protrusion is formed into a thick ellipse with the protrusion as the center, and the protrusion is entirely covered with the elastic material by integrally embedding a hard core material on the inner surface of the band body, This acupressure band is characterized in that an outer surface covering portion that covers the outer surface of the protrusion opposite the inner surface facing the band body is integral with the periphery of the protrusion in the band body.

2. An acupressure band as described in claim 1, wherein the protrusion has a small vibrator removably embedded in the band body in place of the core material.

3. An acupressure band as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein an arbitrary mark indicating the position of the protrusion is provided on the outer surface of the band body.

4. An acupressure band as described in claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein the protrusion is hemispherical with a smooth surface.
