Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a lid of a cooker, and particularly to a lid of a cooker that can prevent food from spilling during cooking.

Background Art

[0002] Generally, a cooker includes a pot in which food is contained and a lid disposed on top of the pot.

[0003] In the pot, soups or stews are cooked, and are cooked more quickly by the lid so that the food does not scatter outside during the boiling process.

[0004] On the other hand, when a conventional lid of a cooker is installed on a pot and used, there is a problem that the food easily spills out due to the internal pressure, and in order to prevent this, a device for relieving the pressure is provided.

[0005] By the way, the conventional lid of a cooker has a very complicated structure for relieving the internal pressure, which is not only difficult to manufacture, but above all, difficult to clean, causing a hygienic problem.

[0013] With reference to the accompanying drawings, the present embodiment will be described in detail, but it is not limited or restricted by the present embodiment. In describing the present invention, specific descriptions may be omitted for known functions or configurations in order to clarify the gist of the present invention.

[0014] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the lid of the cooker according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view of the lid of the cooker according to the present invention, FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the lid of the cooker according to the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a view for explaining that the lid of the cooker according to the present invention is installed on the pot.

[0015] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the lid 100 of the cooker according to the present invention includes a main body 110 and a handle 120 located at the center of the main body 110. The main body 110 is formed in a convex shape with the center protruding upward, or a shape in which the center protrudes upward compared to the edge.

[0016] The handle 120 is formed at the center of the main body 110 and includes a first opening 121 that opens downward in the main body 110 and a second opening 122 that opens upward in the main body 110. The first opening 121 is formed with a smaller area compared to the second opening 122.

[0017] Also, an anti-spill plug 130 is provided inside the handle 120. The anti-spill plug 130 is formed in a shape that bulges upward and is open downward.

[0018] The main body 110, the handle 120, and the anti-spill plug 130 are formed of a metal material, a ceramic material, or the like.

[0019] The main body 110 and the handle 120 can also be integrally formed of one material. The upper part of the handle 120 is formed in a shape that protrudes in the outer horizontal direction so that the user can easily take the handle 120.

[0020] The anti-spill plug 130 covers the first opening 121 of the handle 120. The lower part of the anti-spill plug 130 is in contact with the periphery of the first opening 121.

[0021] As shown in FIG. 4, when cooking by putting food in the pot 200, the lid 100 of the cooker of the present invention is covered on the upper part of the pot 200.

[0022] By installing the anti-spill plug 130 in the handle 120 of the lid 100 of the cooker, the first opening 121 is blocked.

[0023] The anti-spill plug 130 is arranged at a position higher than the highest part of the main body 110 and is seated inside the handle 120. The height of the anti-spill plug 130 is formed to be greater than 20% and less than 80% of the height of the handle 120.

[0024] Also, the area of the anti-spill plug 130 is larger than the first opening 121 and smaller than the second opening 122.

[0025] Therefore, when the internal pressure between the pot 200 and the lid 100 of the cooker does not reach a predetermined pressure, the anti-spill plug 130 blocks the first opening 121 to maintain the internal pressure. Further, when the cooked food boils and the pressure increases, the anti-spill plug 130 moves so as to bounce off by the pressure to relieve the internal pressure.

[0026] Here, a part of the cooked food may also spill through the first opening 121. In the present invention, the height becomes lower as the periphery of the first opening 121 is closer to the first opening 121. Therefore, the cooked food spilled through the first opening 121 flows back into the interior between the pot 200 and the lid 100 of the cooker through the first opening 121 again.

[0027] On the one hand, in the present invention, the spill prevention plug 130 is not fixed or coupled to the main body 110 or the handle 120. Therefore, it can be easily separated from the handle 120, and it is very easy to clean the main body 110 and the spill prevention plug 130.

[0028] FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the lid of the cooker according to the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a diagram for explaining that the lid of the cooker according to the present invention is installed on the pot.

[0029] In FIGS. 5 and 6, the spill prevention plug 140 is formed in a different form from that described in FIGS. 1 to 4. The spill prevention plug 140 is formed in a spherical shape and closes the first opening 121.

[0030] When the internal pressure between the pot 200 and the lid 100 of the cooker does not reach a predetermined pressure, the spill prevention plug 140 closes the first opening 121 to maintain the internal pressure. And when the cooked food boils and the pressure increases, the spill prevention plug 140 moves so as to bounce by the pressure to relieve the internal pressure.

[0031] FIG. 7 is a diagram showing a cover coupled to the lid of the cooker according to the present invention, and FIGS. 8 and 9 are diagrams showing that the spill prevention plug and the cover are coupled to the lid of the cooker.

[0032] As shown in FIGS. 7 to 9, the cover 150 coupled to the lid 100 of the cooker is coupled to the handle 120 of the lid 100 of the cooker.

[0033] The cover 150 includes an upper surface member 150a and a side surface member 150b. The upper surface member 150a partially covers the second opening 122 of the handle 120, and the side surface member 150b embraces the side surface of the handle 120.

[0034] The cover 150 is formed of a synthetic resin or synthetic rubber material having appropriate elasticity, and the cover 150 can be separated from or coupled to the handle 120 by the user.

[0035] The cover 150 serves to guide the anti-spill plugs 130 and 140 so that they cannot easily come off or return outside the handle 120, and protects the user's hand from the hot handle 120 when the user takes the handle 120.

[0036] A through-hole 151 is partially formed in the upper surface member 150a of the cover 150 so that the hot air coming out through the first opening 121 is discharged to the outside.

[0037] The through-hole 151 is formed in various shapes, and in this embodiment, it is exemplified that it is formed in a semi-circular shape. The through-hole 151 is formed in a shape and size such that the anti-spill plugs 130 and 140 do not easily come off.

[0038] In this way, the lid of the cooker according to the present invention forms the anti-spill plugs 130 and 140 with a simple structure, relieves the pressure inside the pot, and can prevent the cooked food from easily spilling outside.

[0039] In addition, the lid of the cooker according to the present invention further includes a cover 150, which has the merit of preventing the anti-spill plugs 130 and 140 from easily coming off and protecting the user's hand from burns.

[0040] Although the above has been described mainly based on the embodiments, this is merely an example and does not limit the present invention. It will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains that various modifications and applications not exemplified above are possible without departing from the essential characteristics of this embodiment. For example, each component specifically shown in the embodiment can be implemented with modifications. Also, such differences regarding modifications and applications should be analyzed as being included in the scope of the present invention defined by the appended claims.
