Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a light-emitting structure of a headrest, and more particularly to a light-emitting structure of a headrest provided with a linear light-emitting portion so as to be exposed on the surface of the headrest body.

Background Art

[0002] Among chairs used in various vehicles such as automobiles, ships, or airplanes, and in chairs used in houses and the like, there are known ones equipped with a headrest that supports and protects the head and neck at the upper part of the seat back that supports the back of the seated person. Such a headrest includes a headrest body filled with a foam having elasticity inside a soft skin material formed in a bag shape by stitching or the like, and a stay partially embedded in the headrest body and extending downward. The stay of the headrest is attached by inserting it into a stay support portion provided on the seat bag.

[0003] By the way, in recent years, for the purpose of enhancing the decorativeness of the headrest, there are some configured to emit light. For example, a bead edge mixed with a fluorescent paint or a phosphorescent pigment is provided at the stitching portion of the skin material of the headrest to cause the bead edge to emit light by irradiation with a black light or a phosphorescent effect. Or, as in Patent Document 1, light guided from a light source provided on the seat back side is made to enter from the end of a linear light-emitting portion provided along the ridge line of the headrest to emit light.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] However, when irradiating a fluorescent paint with a black light to cause it to emit light, equipment for irradiating the black light outside the headrest is required, and only the irradiation range of the black light can emit light. Also, when using a phosphorescent pigment, since it can only emit light while its phosphorescent effect continues, there is a problem that the decorative effect by light emission is limited in both cases. On the other hand, when making light enter and emit from the end of the linear light-emitting part, it is necessary to accurately irradiate light to the linear light-emitting part. Especially when the headrest is configured to be detachable, it becomes difficult to accurately irradiate the light guided from the light source provided on the seat back side to the end of the linear light-emitting part, and there is a problem that the decorative effect by the light emission of the linear light-emitting part is not appropriately exhibited.

[0006] That is, an object of the present invention is to provide a light-emitting structure for a headrest that can effectively decorate a headrest configured to be detachable from a seat back by light emission.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0007] To overcome the above problems and achieve the intended purpose, First means it is a headrest structure having a headrest body filled with a foam inside a skin material, a linear light-emitting part provided so as to be exposed on the surface of the headrest body, a stay extending downward from the headrest body, and a cylindrical stay support part provided on the seat back and inserted and supported by inserting the stay detachably, and is a light-emitting structure of a headrest configured to be detachable from the seat back, in the stay, a first opening is formed in an embedded part embedded in the headrest body, and a second opening is formed in a lower end part extending downward from the headrest body, the linear light-emitting part extends through the inside of the stay via the first opening, and the end of the linear light-emitting part is configured to face the second opening, a light-emitting means for irradiating light inside the stay support part is provided at the inner bottom part of the stay support part, In summary, in a state where the stay is inserted into the stay support portion, light from the light emitting means enters the end portion of the linear light emitting portion from the second opening, and the linear light emitting portion is configured to emit light. In this way, with the stay inserted into the stay support portion, the end portion of the linear light emitting portion that passes through the inside of the stay via the first opening formed in the embedded portion embedded in the headrest body in the stay can be directed toward the second opening formed at the lower end portion of the stay extending downward from the headrest body. That is, light from the light emitter provided on the seat back side can be irradiated onto the linear light emitting portion of the headrest configured to be detachable from the seat back. Therefore, even though the headrest is detachable from the seat back, it can be effectively decorated by the light emission of the linear light emitting portion provided on the headrest.

[0008] Second means is, The first opening and the second opening are formed in each of the width directions of the stay provided with the extending support portions so as to be spaced apart in the width direction of the headrest body, and the light emitting means is provided at the inner bottom portion of the stay support portion corresponding to each extending support portion. In summary, one end side of the linear light emitting portion is inserted into one of the extending support portions, and the other end of the linear light emitting portion is inserted into the other extending support portion, and light from the light emitting means is configured to enter from both end portions of the linear light emitting portion. In this way, by configuring the light from the light emitting means to enter from both end portions of the linear light emitting portion, the light of the light emitting means can be guided to the entire linear light emitting portion. Therefore, even when the linear light emitting portion is formed to be long, the entire linear light emitting portion can be made to emit light, and the decorative effect due to the light emission of the linear light emitting portion can be enhanced.

[0009] Third means is, In summary, a holding member having a through hole formed in the second opening of the stay is attached, and the end portion of the linear light emitting portion is held by the holding member so as to face the through hole. In this way, by holding the end portion of the linear light-emitting portion by the holding member attached to the second opening of the stay, the end portion of the linear light-emitting portion can be positioned at a fixed position with respect to the second opening. As a result, the light of the light-emitting body provided on the seat-back side can be irradiated with respect to the linear light-emitting portion of the headrest in a certain positional relationship, and the light of the light-emitting means can be accurately incident on the end portion of the linear light-emitting portion, enabling the linear light-emitting portion to emit light effectively.

[0010] Fourth means is The gist is that a covering member made of a foam is provided inside the skin material of the headrest main body, and the first opening of the stay through which the linear light-emitting portion is inserted is configured to be closed by the covering member. In this way, by closing the first opening of the stay through which the linear light-emitting portion is inserted with the covering member, it is possible to prevent the elastic body constituting the headrest main body from entering the first opening. As a result, it is possible to prevent the elastic body from being scraped by contact with the opening edge portion of the first opening.

Effects of the Invention

[0011] According to the present invention, it is possible to effectively decorate by light emission while making the headrest detachable with respect to the seat-back.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0013] Next, a preferred embodiment of the light-emitting structure of the headrest according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0014] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the headrest 10 includes a headrest body 12 filled with an elastic body 18 made of a foam inside a bag-shaped skin material 14 forming the surface, a linear light-emitting portion 20 provided so as to be exposed on the surface of the headrest body 12, and a stay 26 extending downward from the headrest body 12. The skin material 14 is preferably made of a material suitable for the seat skin used for the seat back 50 of the vehicle, and is formed into a bag shape by sewing a skin forming material 16 of an appropriate shape formed of synthetic resin, woven fabric, knitted fabric, genuine leather, or the like. Then, a conventionally known foam such as urethane foam is filled inside the bag-shaped skin material 14 as an elastic body 18 that supports the head of a person. Note that the headrest body 12 of the present embodiment is formed in an inverted L shape in a side view from a front surface portion 12a that supports the head of a person and an upper surface portion 12b that is continuous with the upper portion of the front surface portion 12a, but is not limited thereto and can be formed in an appropriate form.

[0015] As enlarged and shown in FIG. 5, the linear light-emitting portion 20 is composed of a light-transmissive optical transmission body 22 that is flexible and deformable in the radial direction and a coating material 24 that covers the outer surface of the optical transmission body 22, and is sewn to the sewing portion of the skin forming material 16. Specifically, the linear light-emitting portion 20 of the present embodiment is provided in a continuous linear shape along the sewing portions that form ridge lines extending in the left-right direction at the lower front part, ridge lines extending in the up-down direction on the left and right of the front surface, ridge lines extending in the front-rear direction on the left and right of the upper surface, and ridge lines extending in the up-down direction on the left and right of the rear surface in the headrest body 12 (see FIGS. 1 and 2). That is, the linear light-emitting portion 20 is provided so as to form a so-called beading that decorates the headrest 10, and the optical transmission body 22 constitutes the core material of the beading.

[0016] Here, the optical transmission body 22 is configured such that light is incident from the longitudinal end portions, and light is emitted from the outer peripheral portion, and it is called a side-emitting type optical transmission body or the like. As such an optical transmission body 22, for example, a polyurethane-based transparent synthetic resin material containing a light-scattering agent, or a structure in which a clad layer having a lower refractive index of light than the core is disposed outside a core layer having a large refractive index of light, or the like, can adopt a conventionally known one.

[0017] Further, the covering material 24 is composed of a woven fabric, a knitted fabric, a synthetic resin film, genuine leather, or the like, and is formed of a material or form that allows light transmitted through the optical transmission body 22 to be emitted outside the covering material 24. Specifically, when the covering material 24 is composed of a fiber material such as a woven fabric or a knitted fabric, light transmitted through the optical transmission body 22 can be emitted outside through the gaps between the fibers constituting the covering material 24. In addition to fiber materials such as woven fabrics and knitted fabrics, the covering material 24 can be composed of a material that does not transmit light, such as a synthetic resin sheet or genuine leather, and holes (not shown) can be formed in an appropriate shape in the covering material 24, so that light transmitted through the optical transmission body 22 can be emitted outside through the holes of the covering material 24.

[0018] As shown in FIG. 1, the stay 26 is a single member obtained by bending a hollow metal pipe material at an appropriate location, and includes an embedded portion 28 embedded and supported in the headrest body 12, and an extension support portion 30 extending downward from the headrest body 12. Specifically, the stay 26 of the present embodiment includes a front embedded portion 28A embedded in the headrest body 12 to support the front portion 12a, an upper surface embedded portion 28B connected to the front embedded portion 28A and embedded to support the upper surface portion 12b of the headrest body 12, and a first extension support portion 30A and a second extension support portion 30B that are provided spaced apart from each other left and right so as to be connected to the upper surface embedded portion 28B and extend downward from the headrest body 12. Note that the shape of the stay 26 can be formed in an appropriate form according to the shape of the headrest body 12.

[0019] Here, since the configurations of the first extending support portion 30A and the second extending support portion 30B are basically common, the common constituent parts will be simply referred to as the extending support portion 30 and described. In FIG. 1, the extending support portion 30 located on the left side is the first extending support portion 30A, and the extending support portion 30 located on the right side is the second extending support portion 30B. That is, the stays 26 of the headrest 10 are such that each extending support portion 30 inserted through the insertion holes 14a (see FIGS. 3 and 5) formed in the skin material 14 with the embedded portions 28 embedded in the headrest body 12 extends downward from the headrest body 12, and the upper end side continuous with the upper surface embedded portion 28B in each extending support portion 30 is embedded in the headrest body 12.

[0020] Also, as shown in FIGS. 3, 5, 7, 8, and 10, in each extending support portion 30, a first opening 32 is formed in the embedded portion embedded in the headrest body 12, and a second opening 34 is formed in the lower end portion extending downward from the headrest body 12. Then, the linear light-emitting portion 20 extending along the left ridge line on the back surface of the headrest body 12 is guided into the first extending support portion 30A through the first opening 32 of the first extending support portion 30A, and its end faces the second opening 34 of the first extending support portion 30A. At the same time, the linear light-emitting portion 20 extending along the right ridge line on the back surface is guided into the second extending support portion 30B through the first opening 32 of the second extending support portion 30B, and its end is configured to face the second opening 34 of the second extending support portion 30B.

[0021] Also, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, a holding member 36 for holding the end portion 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20 inserted through each of the extending support portions 30 is attached to the second opening portion 34 of each of the extending support portions 30. This holding member 36 includes a fitting cylinder portion 38 in which a through-hole 38a penetrating in the extending direction of each of the extending support portions 30 is formed, and a locking portion 40 extending radially outward from the end portion of the fitting cylinder portion 38. That is, the end portion 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20 is fitted into the through-hole 38a of the fitting cylinder portion 38, and the fitting cylinder portion 38 is fitted into the second opening portion 34 of each of the extending support portions 30, so that the end portion 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20 is held by the holding member 36 so as to face the second opening portion 34 in a fixed posture. Then, when the fitting cylinder portion 38 is fitted into the second opening portion 34 of each of the extending support portions 30, the locking portion 40 is locked to the opening end of the second opening portion 34, so that the end portion 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20 can be positioned at a fixed position with respect to the depth direction of the second opening portion 34.

[0022] Here, as shown in FIG. 10, the first opening portion 32 formed in each of the extending support portions 30 is configured to be closed by a covering member 42 provided inside the skin material 14 of the headrest body 12. This covering member 42 is formed in a cylindrical shape in which a through-hole 42a substantially aligned with the insertion hole 14a of the skin material 14 is formed, and one opening of the through-hole 42a in the covering member 42 is fixed to the back surface (inner surface) of the skin material 14 so as to be aligned with the insertion hole 14a. That is, each of the extending support portions 30 extends downward of the headrest body 12 so as to pass through the insertion hole 14a of the skin material 14 and the through-hole 42a of the covering member 42. In a state where the stay 26 is held at a predetermined position by the elastic body 18 filled inside the skin material 14, the covering member 42 corresponding to the formation position of the first opening portion 32 of each of the extending support portions 30 closes the first opening portion 32. Thus, by closing the first opening portion 32 formed in each of the extending support portions 30 with the covering member 42, the elastic body 18 filled inside the skin material 14 is prevented from entering each of the extending support portions 30 through the first opening portion 32.

[0023] Here, the foam forming the covering member 42 is composed of a foam softer than the foam forming the elastic body 18, and the covering member 42 is elastically deformed so as to be crushed by the elastic body 18. That is, the covering member 42 is elastically deformed so as to closely adhere to the outer periphery of the linear light-emitting portion 20 inserted through the first opening 32, so that the first opening 32 is blocked by the covering member 42 with the linear light-emitting portion 20 inserted therethrough. Here, the material of the foam forming the covering member 42 is not particularly limited, but in this embodiment, the covering member 42 is formed of a slab urethane foam.

[0024] As shown in FIG. 4, the stay support portion 52 is formed in a cylindrical shape having an insertion hole 52a through which the stay 26 (extension support portion 30) can be inserted and removed. Then, the stay support portion 52 is attached to the upper portion of the seat frame 50a forming the skeleton of the seat back 50 such that the insertion hole 52a opens above the seat back 50. A lid body 54 is provided on the stay support portion 52 so as to close the lower opening of the insertion hole 52a, and an LED (light-emitting means) 56 is provided on the lid body 54 so as to be positioned at the inner bottom portion of the stay support portion 52, and the light of the LED 56 is irradiated inside the stay support portion 52. In this embodiment, the LED 56 is provided at the inner bottom portion of each stay support portion 52 corresponding to each extension support portion 30 of the stay 26 provided so as to be spaced apart in the width direction of the headrest body 12, and the end portion 20a side of the linear light-emitting portion 20 is inserted through each extension support portion 30, and the light of the LED 56 can be incident from both ends of the linear light-emitting portion 20. That is, in a state where the stay 26 (each extension support portion 30) is inserted into the stay support portion 52, the light of the LED 56 is incident on the end portion 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20 from the second opening 34, so that the linear light-emitting portion 20 is configured to emit light, and the headrest 10 is decorated by the light emission of the linear light-emitting portion 20.

[0025] Here, on the inner surface of the stay support portion 52, a light reflecting surface 58 for reflecting the light of the LED 56 is provided. This light reflecting surface 58 can be formed by subjecting the inner surface of the stay support portion 52 to a metal plating treatment or by attaching a conventionally known light reflecting sheet. Further, when the stay support portion 52 is formed of metal, it is also possible to use the inner surface of the stay support portion 52 as the light reflecting surface 58. Thus, by providing the light reflecting surface 58 on the inner surface of the stay support portion 52, the light of the LED 56 can be reflected by the light reflecting surface and effectively guided to the end portion 20a of the linear light emitting portion 20 held by the stay 26 (extended support portion 30).

[0026] Also, as shown in FIG. 4, the stay support portion 52 is provided with a detection sensor 60 capable of detecting the insertion state in which the stay 26 (extended support portion 30) is inserted into the stay support portion 52. As this detection sensor 60, various conventionally known sensors such as a non-contact sensor such as a proximity sensor or a contact sensor such as a microswitch can be employed. And each of the detection sensor 60 and the LED 56 is wired and connected to a control device 70 (see FIG. 2). In the case of an insertion state in which the stay 26 (extended support portion 30) inserted into the insertion hole 52a of the stay support portion 52 is detected, the control device 70 is configured to be able to cause the LED 56 to emit light. Here, the control device 70 may cause the LED 56 to emit light while the detection sensor 60 detects the insertion state, or an illuminance sensor may be provided separately, and the LED 56 may be caused to emit light according to the brightness detected by the illuminance sensor. In addition, when providing an illuminance sensor, the installation position of the illuminance sensor may be any position capable of detecting the brightness around the arrangement position of the headrest 10 (for example, inside the vehicle). For example, it can be provided at an appropriate position such as the back surface of the headrest 10 or the seat back 50, or the interior roof. Note that the power supply for the electrical components such as the LED 56, the control device 70, and the detection sensor 60 may be configured to be supplied from a power supply device (battery) provided in the vehicle, or a power supply device for power supply to the electrical components may be provided separately.

[0027] Next, the manufacturing method of the headrest 10 described above will be explained. A covering material 24 formed of woven fabric, knitted fabric, synthetic resin film, genuine leather, or the like is folded in half, and an optical transmission body 22 is disposed inside the fold of the folded material, and the outer surface of the optical transmission body 22 is covered with the covering material 24 to form a linear light-emitting portion 20. Then, the linear light-emitting portion 20 is positioned between the edges (sewing portions) of the skin forming material 16 facing each other, and in this state, the edges of the skin forming material 16 and the covering material 24 are joined and sewn together to form a bag-shaped skin material 14 so that the front and back are turned inside out (see FIG. 5). At this time, the linear light-emitting portion 20 is sewn to the skin forming material 16 at the intermediate position in its longitudinal direction, and surplus portions 20b that are not sewn to the skin forming material 16 are formed on both end sides of the linear light-emitting portion 20.

[0028] Here, on the edge portions of each skin forming material 16 that form ridge lines extending in the left-right direction at the lower front part, ridge lines extending in the up-down direction on the left and right of the front surface, ridge lines extending in the front-back direction on the left and right of the upper surface, and ridge lines extending in the up-down direction on the left and right of the back surface in the headrest body 12, the linear light-emitting portion 20 is sewn, and the surplus portions 20b of the linear light-emitting portion 20 extend from the lower end portions on the left and right of the back surface. Further, the skin forming material 16 is sewn so as to form a turning opening 14b for turning the skin material 14 in the turned state so that the surface faces outward.

[0029] Then, as shown in FIG. 5, one opening of the through hole 42a of the covering member 42 formed by cylindrically forming a foam is aligned with the formation position of the insertion hole 14a of the stay 26 (extension support portion 30) formed in the skin material 14, and the covering member 42 is fixed to the back surface (inner surface) of the skin material 14 with an adhesive or the like. Thereby, the covering member 42 is attached to the back surface of the skin forming material 16 so as to communicate with the insertion hole 14a of the stay 26 in the skin material 14. Here, the foam forming the covering member 42 is formed of a foam softer than the foam forming the elastic body 18. Then, the skin material 14 is repeatedly pulled through the repeating opening 14b so that the surface of the skin material 14 in the turned-back state is exposed to the outside, and the surplus portion 20b of the linear light emitting portion 20 is positioned inside the bag-shaped skin material 14 with the surface facing outward. In this state, the end portion of the stay 26 (extension support portion 30) is inserted into the insertion hole 14a of one skin material 14 and the through hole 42a of the covering member 42 so as to face the inside of the skin material 14. Next, the end portion of the stay 26 (extension support portion 30) facing the inside of the skin material 14 is inserted into the insertion hole 14a of the other skin material 14 and the through hole 42a of the covering member 42 so as to face the outside of the skin material 14, and the stay 26 is moved with respect to the skin material 14 so as to pull out the end portion protruding outside the skin material 14, thereby feeding the stay 26 into the inside of the skin material 14 in sequence. As a result, the buried portion 28 of the stay 26 is positioned inside the bag-shaped skin material 14 with the surface facing outward, and each extension support portion 30 inserted through the through hole 42a of the covering member 42 and the insertion hole 14a of the skin material 14 is extended outside the skin material 14 (see FIG. 7).

[0030] Then, as shown in FIG. 7, the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) is positioned such that the first opening 32 of each extending support portion 30 is not blocked by the covering member 42 inside the skin material 14. Then, the end portion 20a on the tip side of the surplus portion 20b of the linear light emitting portion 20 extending from the stitching portion of the skin material 14 is inserted into the corresponding first opening 32, and the linear light emitting portion 20 is inserted into each extending support portion 30 so that the end portion 20a of the linear light emitting portion 20 faces the second opening 34 formed at the lower end portion of each of the extending support portions 30 (see FIG. 8). In this state, the end portion 20a of the linear light emitting portion 20 drawn out from the second opening 34 is fitted and fixed in the through hole 38a of the fitting cylinder portion 38 of the holding member 36, and the fitting cylinder portion 38 is fitted into the second opening 34 to hold the end portion 20a of the linear light emitting portion 20 so as to face the second opening 34 (see FIG. 9).

[0031] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 10, after pulling out the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) to the outside of the skin material 14 so as to block the first opening 32 with the covering member 42, the skin material 14 before forming the elastic body 18 is accommodated in a predetermined molding die 100, and the elastic body 18 is formed by foaming the foaming raw material injected inside the skin material 14. Thereby, a headrest body 12 is formed in which the linear light emitting portion 20 is exposed on the surface with the linear light emitting portion 30 inserted through the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30). Here, the injection of the foaming raw material inside the skin material 14 may utilize the opening 14b for repetition. Note that the step of holding the linear light emitting portion 20 with the holding member 36 may be performed after the formation of the elastic body 18.

[0032] Here, the mold 80 for molding the elastic body 18 of the headrest body 12 is not particularly limited as long as it can mold the elastic body 18. However, an example thereof will be described. The mold 80 of the present embodiment includes a first mold 82 forming a lower mold, a second mold 84 that is hinge-connected to one edge of the first mold 82 to form an upper mold, and a third mold 86 that is hinge-connected to the other edge of the first mold 82 to form an upper mold. By clamping the first to third molds 82, 84, and 86, a cavity that matches the outer diameter of the headrest body 12 is formed. Further, groove-shaped stay support grooves 84b and 86b for supporting the respective extension support portions 30 of the stay 26 are provided in the second mold 84 and the third mold 86. In this mold 80, first, with the first to third molds 82, 84, and 86 in an open state, the stay 26 (each extension support portion 30) extending from the bag-shaped skin material 14 with a part (embedded portion 28) of the stay 26 inserted therein is supported by the stay support groove 86b of the third mold 86. Then, after closing the first mold 82 and the third mold 86, the second mold is clamped, and the stay 26 (each extension support portion 30) is supported by the stay support groove 86b of the second mold 84. Then, a foaming raw material is injected inside the bag-shaped skin material 14, and the elastic body 18 (headrest body 12) is molded by the foaming of the foaming raw material (see FIG. 11). Then, after the elapse of a required time, with the first to third molds 82, 84, and 86 in an open state, the headrest 10 is taken out by detaching the stay 26 from the stay support groove 86b of the third mold 86 (see FIG. 12).

[0033] The headrest 10 of the present embodiment has a first opening 32 formed in the embedded portion of the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) embedded in the headrest main body 12, and the end portion 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20 inserted through the inside of the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) via the first opening 32 faces the second opening 34 that opens at the lower end portion of the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) extending downward from the headrest main body 12. On the other hand, an LED 56 that irradiates light inside the stay support portion 52 is provided at the inner bottom of the stay support portion 52 provided on the seat back 50. In this way, by directing the end portion of the linear light-emitting portion 20 inserted through the inside of the stay 26 via the first opening 32 of the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) toward the second opening 34 of the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30), the light of the LED 56 can be made to enter the end portion of the linear light-emitting portion 20 from the second opening 34 in a state where the stay 26 is inserted into the stay support portion 52. That is, since it becomes possible to irradiate the linear light-emitting portion 20 of the headrest 10 configured to be detachable from the seat back 50 with the light of the LED 56 provided on the seat back 50 side, it is possible to effectively decorate by the light emission of the linear light-emitting portion 20 provided on the headrest 10 while making the headrest 10 detachable from the seat back 50.

[0034] Moreover, the first opening 32 and the second opening 34 are formed in each of the width directions of the stay 26 provided with the first extending support portion 30A and the second extending support portion 30B so as to be spaced apart in the width direction of the headrest main body 12, and the LED 56 is provided at the inner bottom of the stay support portion 52 corresponding to each extending support portion 30 so that the light of the LED 56 enters from both end portions of the linear light-emitting portion 20. That is, by configuring such that the light of the LED 56 enters from both end portions of the linear light-emitting portion 20, the light of the LED 56 can be guided to the entire linear light-emitting portion 20. For this reason, while forming the linear light-emitting portion 20 to be long, the entire linear light-emitting portion 20 can be made to emit light, and the decorative effect by the light emission of the linear light-emitting portion 20 can be enhanced.

[0035] Furthermore, the end 20a of the surplus portion 20b of the linear light-emitting portion 20 inserted through each extending support portion 30 is inserted and held in the through-hole 38a of the holding member 36 (fitting cylinder portion 38) attached to the second opening portion 34 of each extending support portion 30. Therefore, the end 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20 can be positioned at a fixed position with respect to the second opening portion 34. Accordingly, the LED 56 provided on the seat back 50 side can be opposed to the linear light-emitting portion 20 of the headrest 10 in a certain positional relationship, and the light of the LED 56 can be irradiated in a certain positional relationship. Thereby, the light of the LED 56 can be accurately incident on the end 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20, and the linear light-emitting portion 20 can be effectively made to emit light. Further, since the locking portion 40 of the holding member 36 is locked to the opening end of the second opening portion 34, the end 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20 can be positioned at a fixed position with respect to the depth direction of the second opening portion 34. Therefore, the light of the LED 56 can be more accurately incident on the end 20a of the linear light-emitting portion 20, and the linear light-emitting portion 20 can be effectively made to emit light.

[0036] Also, the first opening portion 32 of the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) through which the linear light-emitting portion 20 is inserted is configured to be closed by a covering member 42 provided inside the skin material 14 of the headrest main body 12. For this reason, it is possible to prevent the elastic body 18 constituting the headrest main body 12 from entering the first opening portion 32. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the elastic body 18 from being scraped by contact with the opening edge portion of the first opening portion 32, and it is possible to effectively prevent the generation of abnormal noises or the like due to the scrapings of the elastic body 18 that have entered the inside of the stay 26. Further, since the elastic body 18 can be maintained in a predetermined shape, the performance of the headrest main body 12 can be maintained.

[0037] Also, a detection sensor 60 capable of detecting the inserted state in which the stay 26 (extending support portion 30) is inserted into the stay support portion 52 is provided. When the inserted state in which the stay 26 (extending support portion 30) inserted into the insertion hole 52a of the stay support portion 52 is detected, the control device 70 is configured to enable the LED 56 to emit light. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the LED 56 from emitting light uselessly when the headrest 10 is removed.

[0038] Here, with the headrest 10, inside the skin material 14, with the first opening 32 of the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) formed in the embedded portion embedded in the headrest body 12 positioned at a position not blocked by the covering member 42, the end 20a of the surplus portion 20b of the linear light-emitting portion 20 is inserted into the first opening 32. After pulling out the stay 26 (each extending support portion 30) to the outside of the skin material 14 and blocking the first opening 32 with the covering member 42, the elastic body 18 is formed by foaming a foaming raw material inside the skin material 14. In this way, after blocking the first opening 32 of the stay 26 with the covering member 42 and then foaming the foaming raw material inside the skin material 14 to form the elastic body 18, it is possible to prevent the foaming raw material from leaking from the first opening 32 into the inside of the stay 26 when the elastic body 18 is formed, so that the elastic body 18 can be accurately molded into an appropriate shape. Also, due to the foaming pressure of the foaming raw material, the covering member 42 is pressed against the linear light-emitting portion 20 passing through the first opening 32 of the stay 26, so that the gap around the linear light-emitting portion 20 inserted through the first opening 32 can be effectively blocked by the covering member 42, and the leakage of the foaming raw material from the gap around the linear light-emitting portion 20 can also be effectively prevented.

[0039] Also, the foam forming the covering member 42 is formed of a foam softer than the foam forming the elastic body 18, so that the elastic body 18 can elastically deform to press the covering member 42 toward the first opening 32 side. As a result, the covering member 42 can be made to adhere more closely to the opening edge portion of the first opening 32 and the linear light-emitting portion 20 to block the gap, so that the leakage of the foaming raw material can be more effectively prevented.

[0040] (Modification example) The light-emitting structure of the headrest according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described configuration, and can be modified, for example, as follows. (1) In the headrest 10 of the embodiment, although the linear light-emitting part 20 is configured to be inserted into each of the first extending support part 30A and the second extending support part 30B that are spaced apart in the width direction of the headrest main body 12 at the stay 26, the first opening 32 and the second opening 34 may be formed only in one of the extending support parts 30A and 30B, and the linear light-emitting part 20 may be configured to be inserted therethrough. (2) In the headrest 10 of the embodiment, although one linear light-emitting part 20 exposed on the surface of the headrest main body 12 is provided, and each end part 20a of the linear light-emitting part 20 is configured to be inserted into the corresponding first extending support part 30A and the second extending support part 30B, a plurality (for example, two) of linear light-emitting parts 20 may be provided, and the end parts 20a of different linear light-emitting parts 20 may be inserted through each of the extending support parts 30A and 30B. (3) Further, the end parts 20a of a plurality of linear light-emitting parts 20 may be inserted into one of the extending support parts 30A and 30B, and the light of the LED 56 provided at the inner bottom part of one stay support part 52 may be configured to be incident on the end parts 20a of the plurality of linear light-emitting parts 20. (4) In the embodiment, although the end part 20a of the linear light-emitting part 20 inserted into the extending support part 30 is configured to be held by the holding member 36, it is also possible to omit the holding member 36. For example, the holding member 36 can be omitted by adhering the end part 20a of the linear light-emitting part 20 to the inner peripheral surface of the extending support part 30 or the like. (5) In the embodiment, although the covering member 42 is formed in a cylindrical shape, it can be formed in an arbitrary shape such as a rectangular tube shape according to the outer shape of the extending support part 30. (6) In the embodiment, although the foam forming the covering member 42 is formed of a foam softer than the foam forming the elastic body 18 of the headrest main body 12, the covering member 42 and the elastic body 18 may be formed of the same foam, or the elastic body 18 of the headrest main body 12 may be formed of a foam softer than the foam forming the foam forming the covering member 42. Even in this case, by closing the first opening 32 with the covering member 42, it is possible to prevent the foaming raw material from leaking into the extending support part 30 through the first opening 32.
