Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an eaves tip structure that can stably hold an eaves gutter with high supporting strength and prevent damage to the eaves gutter or the covering material even when sudden stress is applied from either above or below.
Background Art
[0002] Conventionally, as a gutter for a roof, an eaves gutter provided at the eaves tip is generally widely known. As a structure (mechanism) for fixing this eaves gutter, for example, those shown in Patent Documents 1 to 3 are widely known. Patent Document 1 describes a structure in which a covering material that closes the gap between the eaves gutter and the front surface of the eaves tip is attached below, and the upper end (ear portion) of one side surface of the eaves gutter is locked by a support piece (locking portion) provided on the covering material. Patent Document 2 describes a structure in which an upper member 3 including a porous body 5 is disposed on the upper surface side with respect to an eaves gutter support device 6 fixed to the outer wall of a building, and a lower member 4 which is an eaves body main body 1 is suspended and held. Patent Document 3 describes a structure in which the upper end of the side surface on the eaves tip side of an eaves gutter N is suspended and held at the proximal end side of an eaves gutter cover fixture 1 fixed to an outer wall or the like, and the upper end of the other side surface of the eaves gutter N is fixed so as to be pinched from above.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] However, in the structure of Patent Document 1, since the weight of the eaves gutter itself and the load due to rainwater or the like are concentrated on the ear part which is the attachment part, the design property as the eaves tip is poor, and only the function of receiving rainwater is adopted, resulting in a poor appearance and lack of design property. Further, in the structure of Patent Document 2, since the lower member 4 such as the eaves gutter main body 1 is suspended and held by the eaves gutter hanger 6, the dead weight of the eaves gutter main body 1 and all the loads are concentrated on the fixed part of the eaves gutter hanger 6, so it is in a cantilever state and there is a risk of damage during snowfall or the like. Furthermore, also in the structure of Patent Document 3, since the dead weight of the eaves gutter N and all the loads are concentrated on the fixed part 4 of the eaves gutter cover fixture 1, it is in a cantilever state and there is a risk of damage during snowfall or the like.
[0005] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to propose an eaves tip structure that can stably hold the eaves gutter with high support strength and prevent damage to the eaves gutter or the cover material even when sudden stress is applied from either above or below.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] The present invention is proposed in view of the above, and in a gutter support fitting fixed to the eaves tip of a building, there is an eaves gutter to which the side surface on the building side is attached, a reinforcing member having an upper surface portion spanned from the side surface on the building side to the side surface on the eaves tip side of the eaves gutter and a base end surface portion fixed along the side surface on the building side of the eaves gutter, and a cover material covering the open upper surface of the eaves gutter. The eaves tip structure is characterized in that the upper end of the cover material is fixed to the eaves tip of the building, and the lower end thereof is engaged with an engaging portion provided at the eaves tip end of the eaves gutter. Engagement The reinforcing member is characterized in that its base end surface portion and its upper surface portion are each in a belt shape bent with both side ends to the back surface side, that is, in a U-shaped cross-sectional shape and are continuous. and the reinforcing member reaches the engaging portion of the eaves gutter and is engaged with the lower end of the cover material The present invention proposes an eaves tip structure characterized by the above.
[0007] Also, the present invention proposes an eaves tip structure characterized in that, in the above eaves tip structure, the engaging portion of the eaves gutter is engaged with the eaves tip end of the reinforcing member and is further connected to the lower end of the cover material.
Advantages of the Invention
[0008] The eaves structure of the present invention is a structure using a reinforcing member having an upper surface portion spanning from the side surface on the building side of the eaves gutter to the side surface on the eaves tip side and a base end surface portion fixed along the side surface on the building side of the eaves gutter. The reinforcing member used has a belt-like shape in which both its base end surface portion and its upper surface portion are bent with both side ends to the back surface side, that is, the cross-sectional shape is W-shaped and continuous. Therefore, it has excellent fold resistance in the length direction, high support strength, and can hold the eaves gutter stably with high support strength. In particular, the upper surface portion can prevent damage to the eaves gutter and the cover material even when sudden stress is applied from either above or below. Also, since the reinforcing member reaches the engaging portion of the eaves gutter and is engaged with the lower end of the cover material, the cover material holds not only the eaves gutter but also the reinforcing member so as to pull them, and the support strength is further increased. In addition, since the integrality of the eaves gutter and the reinforcing member is improved, the integrality of the three members including the cover material is also improved.
[0009] Also, when the engaging portion of the eaves gutter is engaged with the eaves tip of the reinforcing member and further connected to the lower end of the cover material, the cover material holds the eaves gutter as well as the reinforcing member in a pulling manner, so the support strength is further increased. Also, since the integrality between the eaves gutter and the reinforcing member is improved, the integrality of the three members including the cover material is also improved.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0011] The eaves structure of the present invention comprises a gutter receiving fitting fixed to the eaves of a building, a gutter attached to the side surface on the building side, a reinforcing member having an upper surface portion spanning from the side surface on the building side to the side surface on the eaves side of the gutter and a base end surface portion fixed along the side surface on the building side of the gutter, and a cover member covering the open upper surface of the gutter. The cover member has its upper end fixed to the eaves of the building and its lower end connected to an engaging portion provided at the eaves end of the gutter. The reinforcing member has its base end surface portion and its upper surface portion each bent with both side ends toward the back surface side, i.e., in a belt shape with a U-shaped cross section and continuous and the reinforcing member reaches the engaging portion of the eaves gutter and is engaged with the lower end of the cover material characterized by being so.
[0012] The most significant feature of this eaves structure is the use of a reinforcing member having an upper surface portion spanning from the side surface on the building side to the side surface on the eaves side of the gutter and a base end surface portion fixed along the side surface on the building side of the gutter. The reinforcing member used has its base end surface portion and its upper surface portion each bent with both side ends toward the back surface side that is, the cross-sectional shape is W-shaped into a continuous belt shape, so that the gutter can be stably held with high supporting strength. In particular, the upper surface portion can prevent damage to the gutter and the cover member even when sudden stress is applied from either above or below.
[0013] This reinforcing member includes an upper surface portion spanning from the side surface on the building side to the side surface on the eaves side of the gutter (arranged horizontally in side view) and a base end surface portion fixed along the side surface on the building side of the gutter (arranged vertically in side view), and is a member formed in an L shape in side view as in the illustrated embodiment described later. Also, since this reinforcing member is in a belt shape with both side ends bent toward the back surface side, its cross-sectional shape is formed in a U shape (inverted U shape), is excellent in fold resistance in the length direction, and has high supporting strength. That is, the surfaces of the upper surface portion and the base end surface portion are only continuously formed in an L shape with a narrow line in side view, but the portion bent toward the back surface side is in an L shape with a thick (band) line in side view and continuous, and moreover, since it is formed at both side edges of the L shape with a narrow line in side view, it imparts high fold resistance to the reinforcing member itself.
[0014] Further, the reinforcing member may be provided with a support surface portion that abuts against the back surface of the cover member. Regarding the abutment against the back surface of the cover member, it does not always abut, but it may abut when a load acts on the cover member.
[0015] And this reinforcing member is disposed in an internal space formed on the front and back decorative surfaces of the eaves tip structure. As the eaves gutter and the cover member, through members are exclusively used, and even if there are a plurality of combinations, various metal plate materials, hard resin molded plates, etc. are used. However, for this reinforcing member, a plurality of short-width metal processed products are used at predetermined intervals, and as described above, the cross-sectional shape is a W shape (inverted U shape), and metal processed products with high support strength formed in an L shape in side view are used.
[0016] The eaves gutter has an internal space (drainage portion) for draining rainwater, etc., and is formed in a substantially U-shaped cross section composed of a bottom surface and two side surfaces. The side surface on the building side is attached to a gutter receiving metal fitting fixed to the eaves tip of the building, and an engaging portion is provided at the eaves tip. The drainage portion of this eaves gutter refers to the entire internal space as described above. In the case of normal rainfall, it is desirable that rainwater, etc. flow only near the bottom surface, and a reinforcing member is disposed above it. By arranging the reinforcing member above the vicinity of the bottom, it is possible to avoid the state where the reinforcing member is always immersed in rainwater, and in particular, it is possible to avoid corrosion, etc. in the case of a molded product such as a metal plate material as much as possible. In addition, the engaging portion of this eaves gutter is a portion where the lower end of the cover member is connected. Since this engaging portion is connected (connected) to the lower end of the cover member, the eaves tip of the eaves gutter can be held so as to be pulled by the cover member.
[0017] In addition, when the engaging portion is formed by folding upward as in the illustrated embodiment (Embodiment 1) described later and is engaged with the eaves tip of the reinforcing member, the reinforcing member can support the eaves gutter more stably. Further, since the cover material holds not only the eaves gutter but also the reinforcing member so as to pull it, the support strength is further increased. That is, the reinforcing member can improve the support strength when sudden stress acts from either above or below to prevent damage to the eaves gutter or the cover material. By engaging the engaging portion of the eaves gutter with the eaves tip, the eaves gutter can be stably supported at all times.
[0018] The cover material is a member whose eaves tip is connected (engaged) with the engaging portion of the eaves tip of the eaves gutter and covers the open upper surface of the eaves gutter. As shown in the illustrated embodiment described later, it is desirable to provide a substantially U-shaped holding portion that is further bent downward and inward at the eaves tip and engage the engaging portion of the eaves gutter on the back side thereof. This substantially U-shaped holding portion serves as an arm for the cover material to hold the load of the eaves gutter by holding the engaging portion of the eaves gutter so as to pull it toward the building side. Further, it is a member that prevents snowfall from accumulating inside the eaves gutter and prevents fallen leaves, etc. from entering and accumulating. In particular, its material is not limited, and as described above, it may be a through member or a combination of a plurality of members. Note that this cover material may cover the entire open upper surface of the eaves gutter or only a part thereof. Specifically, water guide ports for guiding rainwater inward, for example, small-diameter slit holes, are formed on the surface of this cover material. Due to the presence of the water guide ports, it also serves to prevent the accumulation of snowfall and the entry of fallen leaves, etc. As this cover material, as long as it does not detach or scatter due to long-term use, a metal mesh material (wire mesh-like material) may be used. Regarding the opening dimension of this metal mesh material, if it is too wide like the water guide port, fallen leaves, etc. may enter, so any material that can prevent the entry and guide rainwater is acceptable.
[0019] The eaves gutter support fitting is not particularly limited in its shape or the like as long as it includes a fixing portion fixed to the eaves tip of the building and a mounting portion to which the side surface of the eaves gutter on the building side is attached, and a plurality of each may be provided. In the illustrated embodiment described below, it comprises a support member that supports the eaves gutter, a mounting member having a mounting portion attached to the eaves tip, and a fixture that fixes these support member and mounting member. On the support member and the mounting member, horizontal pieces are respectively formed so as to face each other at a predetermined interval H in a rotatably fixed state, and the fixture is configured to have a fitting portion that holds the predetermined interval H.
[0020] For example, as the support structure of the eaves gutter in the support member, there is a configuration that holds either one or both of the upper end or the lower end of the side surface on the building side of the eaves gutter as in the illustrated embodiment described below. In the configuration of holding both, the eaves gutter can be stably held from the building side and the eaves tip side. Moreover, as the configuration of the mounting portion in the mounting member, it may be appropriately set according to the part shape, arrangement angle, etc. of the eaves tip.
[0021] Furthermore, as the specific configuration of each horizontal piece of the support member and the mounting member that face each other with a predetermined interval H therebetween, for example, as in the illustrated embodiment described below, they are made to face vertically, and a plurality of stages of engaging teeth are provided on either one of the horizontal pieces on the facing surface, and protruding engaging teeth may be provided on the other horizontal piece. Also, as a configuration in which the horizontal piece of the support member and the horizontal piece of the mounting member are made to face each other with a predetermined interval H therebetween, for example, by providing a pivot end (shaft attachment end) at the other end of both members (assuming one end as the side where the horizontal piece is formed), it can be a fulcrum for rotation and tilting. And in order to maintain the state of facing each other with a predetermined interval H therebetween, they can be integrally attached by attaching a fixture in the form of a square tubular body having a square tubular space with a height H to these horizontal pieces.
[0022] The eaves tip structure of the present invention formed from these members is a structure using a reinforcing member having an upper surface portion spanning from the side surface on the building side of the eaves gutter to the side surface on the eaves tip side and a base end surface portion fixed along the side surface on the building side of the eaves gutter. The reinforcing member used has a structure in which its base end surface portion and its upper surface portion are each bent with both side ends to the back surface side, that is, in a belt shape with a U-shaped cross section and continuous and the reinforcing member reaches the engaging portion of the eaves gutter and is engaged with the lower end of the cover materialTherefore, the eaves gutter can be held stably with high supporting strength. In particular, the upper surface portion can prevent damage to the eaves gutter and the cover material even when sudden stress is applied from either above or below. In particular, by arranging a plurality of reinforcing members in the longitudinal direction of the eaves gutter, higher supporting strength can be obtained.
[0023] Furthermore, when the engaging portion of the eaves gutter is engaged with the tip of the eaves of the reinforcing member and further connected to the lower end of the cover material, the cover material holds not only the eaves gutter but also the reinforcing member in a pulling manner, so the supporting strength is further increased. Also, since the integrality between the eaves gutter and the reinforcing member is improved, the integrality of the three members including the cover material is also improved.
Embodiment
[0024] The eaves tip structure of Embodiment 1 of the present invention shown in Fig. 1(a) includes a gutter support fitting 2 fixed to the eaves tip of a building, an eaves gutter 3 to which the side surface 33 on the building side is attached, a reinforcing member 1 having an upper surface portion 11 spanning from the side surface 33 on the building side to the side surface 32 on the eaves tip side of the eaves gutter 3 and a base end surface portion 12 fixed along the side surface 33 on the building side of the eaves gutter 3, and a cover material 4 covering the open upper surface of the eaves gutter 3. The cover material 4 has its upper end fixed to the eaves tip (eaves tip molding 5) of the building and its lower end connected to an engaging portion 321 provided at the eaves tip of the eaves gutter 3. The reinforcing member 1 has its base end surface portion 12 and its upper surface portion 11 each bent with both side ends 121, 111 to the back side, that is, in a belt shape with a U-shaped cross section and continuous. and the reinforcing member 1 reaches the engaging portion 321 of the eaves gutter 3 and is engaged with the lower end of the cover material 4 It is characterized by the above.
[0025] The reinforcing member 1 in this Embodiment 1 includes an upper surface portion 11 spanning from the side surface 33 on the building side to the side surface 32 on the eaves tip side of the eaves gutter 3 (arranged horizontally in side view) and a base end surface portion 12 fixed along the side surface 33 on the building side of the eaves gutter 3 (arranged vertically in side view), and is a member formed in an L shape in side view. A circular hole 120 for driving a fixing tool such as a screw is formed at the center of the base end surface portion 12, and a locking piece 13 directed obliquely upward is provided at the eaves tip of the upper surface portion 11.
[0026] In addition, since both side ends of this reinforcing member 1 are in a strip shape bent toward the back surface side, its cross-sectional shape is formed into a U-shape (inverted U-shape), excellent in fold resistance in the length direction, and has high support strength. That is, the surface 111 of the upper surface portion 11 and the surface 121 of the base end surface portion 12 are in a strip shape from the surface side and only form a narrow-line L-shape in side view and are continuous, but when it is bent to the back surface side that is, the cross-sectional shape is W-shaped the bent portions 112 and 122 are in an L-shape with a thick (strip) line in side view and are continuous, and moreover, since they are formed on both side edges of the narrow-line L-shape (111, 121) in side view, high fold resistance is imparted to the reinforcing member 1 itself.
[0027] The eaves gutter 3 is a through member having an internal space (drainage portion) for draining rainwater and the like, and a cover member 4 is disposed so as to cover its open upper surface. The drainage portion (internal space) of the eaves gutter 3 in this Example 1 is formed, as shown in Fig. 1(b), with a stepped side surface 32 composed of three inclined surfaces and two substantially horizontal surfaces on the eaves tip side (left side in the drawing) of the substantially horizontal bottom surface 31, and a side surface 33 standing substantially vertically is formed on the building side (right side in the drawing) of the bottom surface 31. A drainage channel for rainwater and the like having a substantially U-shaped cross-section is formed by these bottom surface 31 and side surfaces 32 and 33. Note that the tip (upper end) of the side surface 32 on the eaves tip side is an engaging portion 321 formed by an inclined surface and a substantially horizontal surface, and a latching portion 322 for folding back the upper end of the engaging portion 321 and latching it to the latching piece 13 of the reinforcing member 1 is provided. Further, for the side surface 33 on the building side, its substantially L-shaped lower end 331 and the folded-back upper end 332 are attached to the gutter receiving fitting 2.
[0028] The gutter receiving fitting 2 for attaching the eaves gutter 3 is composed of a support member 2A for supporting the eaves gutter 3, a mounting member 2B having a mounting portion (2d) attached to the eaves tip, and a fixture 2C for fixing these support member 2A and mounting member 2B. Horizontal pieces 25 and 27 that face each other at a predetermined interval H in a rotatably fixed state are respectively formed on the support member 2A and the mounting member 2B, and a fitting portion 28 for holding the predetermined interval H is formed on the fixture 2C. Note that the mounting portion (2d) of the mounting member 2B indicates the locations where long screws 2d are driven into the outer wall 6B from the middle (two locations) of the vertical piece 26 of the mounting member 2B.
[0029] In the support member 2A of this gutter receiving fitting 2, as shown in FIG. 1(c), an inclined piece 22 extends from a substantially vertical vertical piece 21 toward the eaves side, an inclined piece 23 is formed downward from near the base end thereof, and the corner formed by the inclined piece 23 and the vertical piece 21 is an upper holding portion 24A. Further, a U-shaped intermediate portion is formed in the vertical piece 21, the lower piece thereof is a horizontal piece 25, and a lower holding portion 24B extending toward the eaves tip side via the vertical piece is provided at the tip of the horizontal piece 25. At the tip of a horizontal piece protruding from near the upper end of the vertical piece 21, a small arc-shaped shaft portion 211 is formed, a downward piece 251 is formed in the horizontal piece 25, and the lower end of this downward piece 251 is a locking convex portion. In the mounting member 2B of this gutter receiving fitting 2, a bearing portion 261 for pivotally attaching the shaft portion 211 of the support member 2A is formed at the upper end of a vertical piece 26, and a horizontal piece 27 extending substantially in an arc shape toward the eaves tip side is formed at the lower end. On the upper surface side of the horizontal piece 27, a plurality of stepped engaging teeth 271 with which the locking convex portion of the support member 2A abuts (locks) are formed. The fixture 2C of this gutter receiving fitting 2 is for fixing the support member 2A and the mounting member 2B, and a fitting portion 28 for maintaining a predetermined interval H between the horizontal piece 25 of the support member 2A and the horizontal piece 27 of the mounting member 2B is formed. The fixture 2C of this embodiment is a square tubular body having a square tubular space with a height H, and this square tubular space is the fitting portion 28.
[0030] The cover member 4 is a member that covers the open upper surface of the eaves gutter 3, and is a member that prevents snow from accumulating inside the eaves gutter 3, fallen leaves, etc. from entering and accumulating, and birds, etc. from building nests. It may be a through member or a plurality of combinations. Further, in this cover member 4, a plurality of small-diameter slit holes are formed on its surface (decoration surface 41) as water guide ports 411 for guiding rainwater inward. Lower end( Eaves tip ) is formed in a substantially U shape Holding portion 42 is engaged with and attached to the eaves tip 321 of the eaves gutter 3, and a fixing portion 43 fixed to the eaves tip of the building (eaves tip molding 5) with screws 4b is formed at the upper end thereof. TheHolding The part 42 is formed in a substantially U-shape that extends obliquely upward from the eaves tip of the makeup surface 41, bends its tip downward, and further bends its lower end inward. However, a drainage groove 45 that recesses downward is formed at the boundary between the makeup surface 41 and the engaging part 42, and water inlet ports 451 are formed at predetermined intervals.
[0031] The eaves tip of the building to which the gutter receiving fitting 2 is fixed corresponds to a base material 6A such as a field material (wood wool cement board) disposed on the upper surface of a housing body disposed along a roof slope (not shown) in the eaves tip structure shown in Fig. 1(a), an outer wall 6B disposed outside a vertical housing body disposed in the vertical direction (not shown), a nose hiding, etc. These base materials 6A and outer walls 6B are disposed orthogonally. On the upper surface of the eaves tip of the base material 6A, an eaves scroll 5 composed of a horizontal piece-shaped fixing surface portion 51 along the upper surface of the base material 6A, a vertical piece portion 52 hanging down from its lower surface, and a horizontal piece-shaped portion to be fixed 53 extending toward the eaves tip side is attached. A corner portion composed of the fixing surface portion 51 and the vertical piece portion 52 of this eaves scroll 5 can be easily fitted into the eaves tip (substantially right-angled shape) of the base material 6A, and the fixing portion 43 of the cover material 4 is placed along the portion to be fixed 53 and fixed with screws 4b.
[0032] Base materials 6A such as field materials (wood wool cement boards) are disposed along the roof slope, and a plurality of horizontally laid exterior materials 7 are attached to the upper surface thereof together with holding members 8 that are suspension members. The horizontally laid exterior material 7 and the holding member 8 have a generally used configuration. An underwater side forming portion 72 provided on the eaves tip side and an above-water side forming portion 73 provided on the eaves side of the flat panel portion 71 of the horizontally laid exterior material 7 are engaged with each other and engaged with an engaging portion provided on the holding member 8, and are attached onto the base material 6A.
[0033] On the outer surface on the eaves side of the outer wall 6B disposed in the vertical direction, the attachment material 2B of the gutter receiving fitting 2 is fixed. As described above, long screw-shaped fixing tools 2d are driven into the outer wall 6B from the middle (two places) of the vertical piece 26 of the attachment material 2B for fixing. Therefore, it is desirable to previously form holes for driving the fixing tools 2d in the vertical piece 26 of the attachment material 2B.
[0034] The eaves end structure of the present invention having such a configuration attaches the side surface 33 on the building side of the eaves gutter 3 to the gutter receiving fitting 2 fixed to the outer wall 6B of the building, and holds the engaging portion 321 provided at the eaves end in a holding manner (as if pulling) with a cover material 4 fixed to the eaves end molding 5 attached to the base material 6A of the building, and can stably hold the left and right ends of the eaves gutter 3. This eaves end structure does not specify its construction sequence, but it is desirable that the installation of other gutter receiving fittings 2, eaves end moldings 5, etc. be completed before the construction of the reinforcing material 1, eaves gutter 3, and cover material 4. Note that the gutter receiving fitting 2 can be easily and rotatably combined by inserting the shaft portion 211 into the bearing portion 261, and the fitting portion 28 of the fixture 2C can be easily fitted and integrated with the opposed horizontal pieces 25, 27. Then, at a predetermined angle shown in the figure, the fixture 2C is deeply fitted and integrated (fixed) to the horizontal pieces 25, 27.
[0035] To briefly explain the procedure for constructing the eaves end structure of this Example 1, first, the side surface 33 on the building side of the eaves gutter 3 is held along the support material 2A of the gutter receiving fitting 2 fixed to the outer wall 6B of the building, and the base end surface portion 12 of the reinforcing material 1 is integrally fixed to the side surface 33 with screws 1b. Regarding the side surface 33 on the building side of the eaves gutter 3, as described above, its lower end 331 and upper end 332 are attached to the upper holding portion 24A and lower holding portion 24B of the gutter receiving fitting 2 and stably held. Next, the cover material 4 is disposed so as to cover the open upper surface of the eaves gutter 3, and the portion 42 provided at the edge on the eaves end side is engaged with the eaves end (engaging portion 321) of the eaves gutter 3, and the fixing portion 43, which is the edge on the building side, is fixed to the fixed portion 53 of the eaves end molding 5 with screws 4b. And since this cover material 4 holds the eaves gutter 3 as if pulling it, the eaves gutter 3 is stably supported. Holding
[0036] The eaves structure of Example 1 constructed in this way is a structure using a reinforcing member 1 having an upper surface portion 11 spanning from the side surface 33 on the building side of the eaves gutter 3 to the side surface 32 on the eaves tip side and a base end surface portion 12 fixed along the side surface 33 on the building side of the eaves gutter 3. The reinforcing member 1 to be used has its base end surface portion 12 and its upper surface portion 11 each bent with both side ends to the back surface side, that is, in a belt shape with a U-shaped cross section and continuous and the reinforcing member 1 reaches the engaging portion 321 of the eaves gutter 3 and is further engaged with the lower end (holding portion 42) of the cover material 4 Therefore, the eaves gutter 3 can be stably held with high supporting strength. In particular, the upper surface portion 11 can prevent damage to the eaves gutter 3 and the cover material 4 even when sudden stress is applied from either above or below.
[0037] In particular, in this Example 1, a latching portion 322 provided at the engaging portion 321 of the eaves gutter 3 is engaged with a locking piece 13 provided at the eaves tip of the reinforcing member 1 that is, the reinforcing member 1 reaches the engaging portion 321 of the eaves gutter 3 So, the cover material 4 holds the eaves gutter 3 as well as the reinforcing member 1 in a pulling manner Doing So, the supporting strength becomes even higher. Also, since the integrality between the eaves gutter 3 and the reinforcing member 1 is improved, the integrality of the three members including the cover material 4 is also improved.
Example
[0038] The reinforcing member 1' in this Example 2 is substantially the same as the reinforcing member 1 in Example 1 except that the locking piece 13 does not exist as shown in Fig. 2(b). Therefore, the same reference numerals are given in the drawings and the description is omitted. Also, regarding the eaves gutter 3', it is substantially the same as the eaves gutter 3 in Example 1 except that the latching portion 322 does not exist at the tip of the engaging portion 321 as shown in Fig. 2(a). Therefore, the same reference numerals are given in the drawings and the description is omitted. Note that the upper end 332' of the side surface 33' on the building side of the eaves gutter 3' is not in a folded-back shape.
[0039] Even in the eaves structure of this second embodiment, a structure using a reinforcing member 1' is provided, which includes an upper surface portion 11 spanning from the side surface 33' on the building side of the eaves gutter 3' to the side surface 32 on the eaves tip side, and a base end surface portion 12 fixed along the side surface 33' on the building side of the eaves gutter 3'. The reinforcing member 1' to be used has a belt-like shape in which its base end surface portion 12 and its upper surface portion 11 are each bent with both side ends to the back surface side, that is, the cross-sectional shape is W-shaped and continuous. Therefore, the eaves gutter 3' can be stably held with high supporting strength. In particular, the upper surface portion 11 can prevent damage to the eaves gutter 3' and the cover material 4 even when sudden stress is applied from either above or below. Also, in this Example 2 as well, since the reinforcing member 1' reaches the engaging portion 321 of the eaves gutter 3', the cover material 4 (holding portion 42) holds so as to pull not only the eaves gutter 3' but also the reinforcing member 1', and the integrality of the three members including the cover material 4 is also improved.
