Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a water intrusion prevention sheet for preventing water intrusion into equipment.

Background Art

[0002] On July 8, 2021, record-breaking heavy rains occurred in various parts of China, resulting in frequent disasters. For example, at a certain station on the Sanyo Main Line, water invaded the station building, and the ticket vending machine was flooded by about 300 mm. Therefore, measures to prevent water intrusion into important equipment such as ticket vending machines are required.

[0003] To prevent water intrusion into equipment installed in a building, it is common sense not to let water into the building. Conventionally, as a general water intrusion prevention measure, sandbags are stacked at locations where water enters the building. However, stacking and removing sandbags are time-consuming and labor-intensive. If sandbags are stacked in advance at the entrance of the building in response to a heavy rain forecast, it will be impossible to enter or exit before the actual heavy rain arrives.

[0004] Therefore, it has been proposed to install a water intrusion prevention structure having a water stop wall at the entrance of the building (see, for example, Patent Document 1). However, such a structure is large-scale and costly.

[0005] Regarding roadside equipment, a waterproof cover that wraps the entire equipment is known (see, for example, Patent Document 2). However, since such a waterproof cover is placed over the equipment, there is a risk of water intrusion from the hem. In addition, a storage location for the waterproof cover is required, and it is necessary to go to the storage location to pick up the waterproof cover and transport it to the equipment, so it is difficult to quickly respond to unexpected heavy rains (guerrilla heavy rains).

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION

[0007] The present invention solves the above problems and aims to provide a water intrusion prevention sheet that can quickly and inexpensively prevent water intrusion into equipment.

MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS

[0008] The water intrusion prevention sheet of the present invention is for preventing water intrusion into equipment, and when spread out, it is flat, larger than the bottom surface of the equipment, and has a waterproof sheet with a central portion laid under the equipment, a plurality of hanging tools provided at the periphery of the waterproof sheet, and a foot cover installed on the floor surface. There are a normal mode and a disaster prevention mode. In the normal mode, the foot cover covers the waterproof sheet protruding forward from the bottom surface of the equipment. In the disaster prevention mode, the hanging tools lift the periphery of the waterproof sheet, and the waterproof sheet is always characterized in that the part behind the equipment is pulled up.

[0009] In this water intrusion prevention sheet, when the equipment is standing with its back against a wall, it is preferable that the waterproof sheet is always fixed to the wall in a state where the part behind the equipment is pulled up.

[0010] In this water intrusion prevention sheet, in the normal mode, it is preferable that the part of the waterproof sheet protruding forward from the bottom surface of the equipment is folded and covered with the foot cover.

[0011] In this water intrusion prevention sheet, in the normal mode, it is preferable that the part of the waterproof sheet protruding laterally from the bottom surface of the equipment is detachably fixed to the side surface of the equipment.

[0012] In this water intrusion prevention sheet, in the disaster prevention mode, it is preferable that the waterproof sheet wraps the lower part of the equipment from below and exposes the upper part of the equipment.

[0013] In this water immersion prevention sheet, each of the hanging tools has a string-shaped member and a hooking tool provided at an end of the string-shaped member. The string-shaped member is attached to the periphery of the waterproof sheet. In the disaster prevention mode, it is preferable that the hooking tool is hooked on the upper part of the device.

[0014] In this water immersion prevention sheet, the waterproof sheet has a plurality of through holes at its periphery. The string-shaped member is attached to the periphery of the waterproof sheet by passing through the plurality of through holes. It is preferable that each of the hanging tools has the hooking tools at both ends of the string-shaped member.

[0015] In this water immersion prevention sheet, the device is provided with a plurality of supporting tools for supporting the hooking tools. Each of the supporting tools is provided with an identifier for distinguishing it from other supporting tools. It is preferable that each of the hooking tools is provided with a mark for designating which identifier-attached supporting tool it is supported by.

Advantages of the Invention

[0016] According to the water immersion prevention sheet of the present invention, the central part of the waterproof sheet is laid under the device. In the disaster prevention mode, the periphery of the waterproof sheet is lifted. Therefore, the device is wrapped from below by the waterproof sheet, and water immersion of the device is prevented. The operation of lifting the periphery of the waterproof sheet with the hanging tools is easy, and water immersion of the device can be quickly prevented. Since the waterproof sheet is flat when spread out and prevents water immersion of the device, the cost is low.

Embodiment for Carrying out the Invention

[0018] The water immersion prevention sheet according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7. As shown in FIG. 1, the water immersion prevention sheet 1 is for preventing water immersion of the device 2. The water immersion prevention sheet 1 includes a waterproof sheet 3, a plurality of suspension tools 4, and a foot cover 5.

[0019] As shown in FIG. 2, the waterproof sheet 3 is flat when spread out, larger than the bottom surface of the device 2, and the central portion is laid under the device 2. The suspension tool 4 is provided at the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3.

[0020] As shown in FIG. 3, the foot cover 5 is installed on the floor surface.

[0021] The water immersion prevention sheet 1 has a normal mode (see FIG. 3) and a disaster prevention mode (see FIG. 1).

[0022] In the normal mode, the foot cover 5 covers the waterproof sheet 3 protruding forward from the bottom surface of the device 2 (see FIG. 3). In this embodiment, in the normal mode, the suspension tool 4 does not lift the waterproof sheet 3.

[0023] In the disaster prevention mode, the suspension tool 4 lifts the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 (see FIG. 1). In this embodiment, the suspension tool 4 is suspended from the device 2 to lift the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3. Note that the suspension tool 4 may be suspended from the ceiling, beam, etc. to lift the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3. In the disaster prevention mode, the foot cover 5 does not cover the waterproof sheet 3.

[0024] At all times, that is, regardless of whether it is in the normal mode or the disaster prevention mode, the waterproof sheet 3 has the part behind the device 2 pulled up.

[0025] As shown in FIG. 4, when the device 2 is standing with the wall 6 behind it, the waterproof sheet 3 is always fixed to the wall 6 in a state where the part behind the device 2 is pulled up. Note that FIG. 4 shows the rear of the device 2 standing on the floor surface 7 with the wall 6 behind it, and it is the state before the device 2 is placed on the waterproof sheet 3.

[0026] In the normal mode, the part of the waterproof sheet 3 that protrudes forward from the bottom surface of the device 2 is folded and covered by the foot cover 5 (see FIG. 3).

[0027] As shown in FIG. 5, in the normal mode, the part of the waterproof sheet 3 that protrudes laterally from the bottom surface of the device 2 is detachably fixed to the side surface 21 of the device 2.

[0028] In the disaster prevention mode, the waterproof sheet 3 wraps the lower part of the device 2 from below and exposes the upper part of the device 2 (see FIG. 1).

[0029] Each suspension tool 4 has a string-like member 41 and a hook 42 (see FIG. 2). The hook 42 is provided at the end of the string-like member 41. The string-like member 41 is attached to the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3. In the disaster prevention mode, the hook 42 is hooked on the upper part of the device 2 (see FIG. 1).

[0030] The waterproof sheet 3 has a plurality of through holes 32 in its peripheral edge 31 (see FIG. 2). The string-like member 41 is attached to the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 by passing through the plurality of through holes 32. Each suspension tool 4 has hooks 42 at both ends of the string-like member 41.

[0031] As shown in FIG. 6, the water immersion prevention sheet 1 is provided on the device 2 and has a plurality of supports 22 for supporting the hooking tool 42. Each support 22 is attached with an identifier 23 for distinguishing it from other supports 22. As shown in FIG. 7, each hooking tool 42 is attached with a mark 43 for specifying which support 22 with an identifier 23 it is supported by.

[0032] The water immersion prevention sheet 1 will be described in more detail. Since the present invention has a function of preventing water immersion of the device and has a waterproof sheet, it is called a water immersion prevention sheet. The device 2 for using the water immersion prevention sheet 1 is preferably an indoor device not exposed to rain. In the present embodiment, the device 2 is a ticket vending machine at a station and has a general shape of a prism with a rectangular bottom surface (see FIG. 3). Note that the device 2 is not limited to a ticket vending machine, and the shape of the device 2 is not limited. For example, the device 2 may be an ATM, a switchboard, a control panel, or the like.

[0033] The water immersion prevention sheet 1 prevents water immersion of the device 2 in the disaster prevention mode. At other times, the water immersion prevention sheet 1 is in the normal mode. The normal mode and the disaster prevention mode can be distinguished by appearance, and mainly the form of the waterproof sheet 3 is different. When heavy rain, floods, etc. are expected, in order to prevent water immersion of the device 2, the water immersion prevention sheet 1 is changed from the normal mode to the disaster prevention mode (see FIG. 1).

[0034] The waterproof sheet 3 is a sheet having waterproof properties (see FIG. 2). The waterproof sheet 3 is preferably flameproof. In the present embodiment, the waterproof sheet 3 is manufactured by applying synthetic resin to both sides of a synthetic fiber cloth, is a rectangle of 1.8 m × 1.5 m, and has a thickness of 0.35 mm. Since the device 2 is placed on the central portion of the waterproof sheet 3, it is doubled for reinforcement (the hatched portion). The peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 is folded back and doubled. The double portions of the waterproof sheet 3 are heat-sealed to each other. Through holes 32 are formed in the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 at substantially regular intervals. Each through hole 32 is stitched for reinforcement.

[0035] The front side, right side, left side, and rear side of the waterproof sheet 3 respectively correspond to the front surface, right side surface, left side surface, and back surface of the device 2. The front surface, right side surface, left side surface, and back surface of the device 2 are relative. Any surface can be regarded as the front surface. If any one surface is arbitrarily determined as the front surface, the remaining three surfaces will be automatically determined. For example, when the front surface for the staff is different from the front surface seen by the customer, either one can be determined as the front surface of the device 2. When the device 2 is a ticket vending machine, the wall 6 behind the device 2 has an opening (not shown), and the customer is located on the other side of the wall 6 and uses the ticket vending machine exposed from the opening (see Figure 3). That is, the front surface for the customer is the back surface for the staff. In this embodiment, the front surface for the staff is regarded as the front surface of the device 2.

[0036] The string-like members 41 (41a, 41b, 41c) of the hanging tools 4 (4a, 4b, 4c) are strings, ropes, or cords, etc. One string-like member 41a of the hanging tool 4a is passed through a plurality of through holes 32 on the front peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3. One string-like member 41b of the hanging tool 4b is passed through a plurality of through holes 32 on the right peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3. One string-like member 41c of the hanging tool 4c is passed through a plurality of through holes 32 on the left peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3. Hooking tools 42a are attached to both ends of the string-like member 41a. Hooking tools 42b are attached to both ends of the string-like member 41b. Hooking tools 42c are attached to both ends of the string-like member 41c. That is, each string-like member 41 (41a, 41b, 41c) has its middle part passed through a plurality of through holes 32 and has hooking tools 42 (42a, 42b, 42c) at both ends. The hooking tool 42 is an S-shaped metal fitting, that is, an S-shaped hook. The S-shaped hook has the string-like member 41 attached to the base end side and is hooked at the tip end side (see Figure 7). Note that the hooking tool 42 is not limited to the S-shaped hook and may be, for example, a U-shaped hook. The hanging tool 4 is used in the disaster prevention mode (see Figures 1 and 2).

[0037] When the central portion of the waterproof sheet 3 is laid under the device 2, the device 2 is placed on the reinforcing portion 33 of the waterproof sheet 3. The device 2 is erected on the floor via the waterproof sheet 3. The waterproof sheet 3 protrudes forward, laterally, and rearward from the bottom surface of the device 2. The peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 is located at the protruding portion. When the device 2 is fixed to the floor with anchor bolts, since the anchor bolts penetrate the waterproof sheet 3, the penetration points are waterproofed with caulking material or sealing material, etc. Also, when wires or pipes are passed through the waterproof sheet 3, the penetration points are similarly waterproofed.

[0038] The waterproof sheet 3 behind the device 2 has its peripheral edge 31 pulled up and is sandwiched between the horizontally long pressing plate 9 and the wall 6 and screwed (see Fig. 4). Thereby, the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 behind the device 2 is always pulled up. Note that the configuration for pulling up the waterproof sheet 3 behind the device 2 is not limited to this. For example, a hanging tool 4 may be further provided on the rear side of the waterproof sheet 3, and the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 behind the device 2 may be constantly lifted by the hanging tool 4.

[0039] In this way, since the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 behind the device 2 is always pulled up, when changing from the normal mode to the disaster prevention mode, the operation of lifting the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 behind the device 2 becomes unnecessary.

[0040] The foot cover 5 is used in the normal mode (see Fig. 3). The foot cover 5 is made by bending a metal plate and has an upper top plate 51 and a bottom plate (not shown) that contacts the floor surface. The foot cover 5 is installed on the floor surface on the front side of the device 2 with the ridge line 52 facing forward. The rear sides of the top plate 51 and the bottom plate of the foot cover 5 have a shape that engages with the device 2. For example, when the device 2 has legs, the rear sides of the top plate 51 and the bottom plate of the foot cover 5 have recesses that fit into the legs of the device 2. The rear side of the foot cover 5 is open. In the normal mode, the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 that protrudes forward from the bottom surface of the device 2 is folded and housed between the top plate 51 and the bottom plate of the foot cover 5 and covered by the top plate 51. The hanging tool 4 is also covered by the foot cover 5 together with the waterproof sheet 3.

[0041] Generally, the input / output device 24 of the device 2 is on the front surface of the device 2. For example, when the device 2 is a ticket vending machine, the input / output device 24 for the staff is on the front surface of the device 2. This is because if the input / output device is on the side or back of the device, it is difficult for the user (staff) to see and operate. In the normal mode, the foot cover 5 covers the waterproof sheet 3 protruding forward from the bottom surface of the device 2, so that the waterproof sheet 3 does not interfere with the user. Note that the input / output device 24 of the device 2 is a touch panel in this embodiment, and depending on the device, it may be a display, a speaker, a lamp, or a switch such as a push button, or a combination thereof.

[0042] The portion of the waterproof sheet 3 protruding laterally from the bottom surface of the device 2 is folded and fixed to the side surface 21 of the device 2 with a magnet 8 (see FIG. 5). In this embodiment, the device 2 has an iron housing, and the magnet 8 is attracted. If the housing of the device 2 is not a magnetic body, an iron plate or a magnet may be attached to the side surface 21 of the device in advance.

[0043] To support the hooking tool 42, three supports 22 (22a, 22b, 22c) are provided on the upper part of the device 2 (see FIG. 6). In this embodiment, the support 22 is a metal ring, and the hooking tools 42 (42a, 42b, 42c) are hooked and the hooked hooking tools 42 are supported. Note that the support 22 is not limited to a ring as long as it can hook the hooking tool 42, and may be a metal fitting such as a U-shape or an L-shape, for example. Also, if the upper part of the device 2 originally has a portion where the hooking tool 42 can be hooked, that portion functions as the support 22.

[0044] Each support tool 22 is provided with an identifier 23. In this embodiment, the identifier 23 is a bundling band with a different color. The support tools 22a, 22b, and 22c are identified by the color of the identifier 23. For example, the identifier 23 of the support tool 22a is red, the identifier 23 of the support tool 22b is yellow, and the identifier 23 of the support tool 22c is blue, and each support tool 22 is uniquely identified by the identifier 23. Note that the identifier 23 is not limited to a bundling band, and for example, an adhesive tape with a different color may be used, or the color may be directly applied to the support tool 22 as the identifier 23. Further, the identifier 23 is not limited to identification by color, and for example, a tag or label displaying a symbol or character may be used.

[0045] Each hooking tool 42 (42a, 42b, 42c) of the suspension tool 4 (4a, 4b, 4c) is provided with a mark 43 (see FIG. 7). The mark 43 specifies which support tool 22 (22a, 22b, 22c) with the identifier 23 is to be supported. In this embodiment, the mark 43 is a bundling band with a different color. For example, the mark 43 of the hooking tool 42a is red, the mark 43 of the hooking tool 42b is yellow, and the mark 43 of the hooking tool 42c is blue, and the color of the mark 43 corresponds one-to-one with the color of the identifier 23. Note that the mark 43 is not limited to a bundling band, and for example, a heat-shrinkable tube with a different color may be used, or the color may be directly applied to the hooking tool 42 as the mark 43. Further, the mark 43 is not limited to specification by color, and for example, a tag or label displaying a symbol or character may be used.

[0046] In the disaster prevention mode, each hooking tool 42 is hooked to the support tool 22 with the identifier 23 specified by its mark 43. In this embodiment, each hooking tool 42 is hooked to the support tool 22 with the identifier 23 of the same color as its mark 43. The hooking tools 42a at both ends of the suspension tool 4a are hooked to the support tool 22a (see FIGS. 2 and 6). The hooking tools 42b at both ends of the suspension tool 4b are hooked to the support tool 22b. The hooking tools 42c at both ends of the suspension tool 4c are hooked to the support tool 22c.

[0047] In the disaster prevention mode, the lifting tool 4 lifts the periphery 31 of the waterproof sheet 3, and the waterproof sheet 3 wraps the lower part of the device 2 from below (see Fig. 1). In this embodiment, the assumed maximum water level is 300 mm from the floor surface, and the waterproof sheet 3 wraps the device 2 up to 400 mm from the floor surface. The size of the waterproof sheet 3 is set according to the assumed maximum water level and the size of the device 2 for the water immersion prevention sheet 1.

[0048] In the disaster prevention mode, the upper part of the device 2 is exposed from the waterproof sheet 3. Since the input / output device 24 of the device 2 is usually at a height where a standing person can easily reach it, it can be arranged not to be covered by the waterproof sheet 3. Also, since warm air rises, the heat generated by the device 2 is usually exhausted from the upper part of the device 2, so the waterproof sheet 3 does not prevent the heat exhaust of the device 2. Therefore, such a normal device 2 can also be used in the disaster prevention mode. For this reason, when heavy rain or the like is expected, the water immersion prevention sheet 1 can be used early to prevent the device 2 from being flooded. Note that in the disaster prevention mode, the power of the device 2 may be turned off and the use of the device 2 may be stopped.

[0049] An example of the procedure for changing from the normal mode to the disaster prevention mode for the water immersion prevention sheet 1 configured as described above will be described. First, pull the foot cover 5 forward (see Fig. 3) and remove it from below the device 2. Next, unfold the folded waterproof sheet 3. Next, hook the hooking tool 42 (S-shaped hook) onto the support tool 22 (ring) at the upper part of the device 2. At that time, first hook the two S-shaped hooks on the back side onto the ring, and then hook the four S-shaped hooks on the front side onto the ring (see Fig. 2). Also, hook the hooking tool (42) while matching the color of the mark 43 and the color of the identifier 23 of the ring (22) (see Figs. 6 and 7). Thereby, the water immersion prevention sheet 1 enters the disaster prevention mode (see Fig. 1).

[0050] An example of the procedure for changing from the disaster prevention mode to the normal mode will be described. First, remove the S-shaped hook (42) hooked on the ring (22) at the upper part of the device 2, and spread out the waterproof sheet 3. Next, fold the spread waterproof sheet 3 into three folds from the front toward the back. Next, obliquely fold the front corner of the folded waterproof sheet 3. Do this for each of the left and right front corners. Next, if there is a gap at the lower part of the device 2, fold the left and right waterproof sheets 3 so as to roll them up from the ends and push them into the gap at the lower part of the device 2. The left and right portions of the waterproof sheet 3 that cannot be pushed into the lower part of the device 2 are fixed to the side surface of the device 2 with magnets 8 (see Fig. 5). Finally, install the foot cover 5. Thereby, the water immersion prevention sheet 1 becomes the normal mode (see Fig. 3). Note that the method of folding the waterproof sheet 3 and the method of fixing it to the device 2 are not limited to this, and may be performed according to the size of the bottom surface of the device 2 and the waterproof sheet 3, etc.

[0051] As described above, according to the water immersion prevention sheet 1 according to the present embodiment, the central portion of the waterproof sheet 3 is laid under the device 2, and in the disaster prevention mode, the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 is lifted, so that the device 2 is wrapped from below by the waterproof sheet 3, and water immersion of the device 2 is prevented. The operation of lifting the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 with the lifting tool 4 is easy, and water immersion of the device 2 can be quickly prevented. Since the waterproof sheet 3 that is flat when spread prevents water immersion of the device 2, it is low-cost. Also, in the normal mode, the foot cover 5 covers the waterproof sheet 3 that protrudes forward from the bottom surface of the device 2, so that the waterproof sheet 3 does not interfere with the user using the device 2. Since the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 behind the device 2 is always lifted, when changing from the normal mode to the disaster prevention mode, the operation of lifting that portion becomes unnecessary, and water immersion of the device 2 can be prevented more quickly. Also, even if the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 behind the device 2 is always lifted, it does not interfere with the use of the device 2, and the aesthetic appearance of the device 2 is not impaired.

[0052] The waterproof sheet 3 is always fixed to the wall 6 behind the device 2 with the portion behind the device 2 lifted, so there is no need to lift that portion with the lifting tool 4.

[0053] In the normal mode, since the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 protruding forward from the bottom surface of the device 2 is folded and covered by the foot cover 5, the foot cover 5 is miniaturized.

[0054] In the normal mode, since the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 protruding laterally from the bottom surface of the device 2 is detachably fixed to the side surface 21 of the device 2, the portion of the waterproof sheet 3 protruding laterally from the bottom surface of the device 2 does not spread, and the aesthetic appearance of the device 2 as viewed from the front is maintained.

[0055] In the disaster prevention mode, since the waterproof sheet 3 wraps the lower part of the device 2 from below, water does not enter from the hem of the water immersion prevention sheet 1. Further, since the upper part of the device 2 is exposed from the waterproof sheet 3, the heat dissipation of the device 2 is not hindered, and when there is an input / output device 24 on the upper part of the device 2, the device 2 can be used even in the disaster prevention mode.

[0056] Each hanging tool 4 has a string-shaped member 41 and a hooking tool 42 provided at the end of the string-shaped member 41. Since the string-shaped member 41 is attached to the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3, when the hooking tool 42 is hooked on the upper part of the device 2, the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 is lifted.

[0057] The string-shaped member 41 is attached to the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 by passing through a plurality of through holes 32. Since each hanging tool 4 has hooking tools 42 at both ends of the string-shaped member 41, when the hooking tool 42 is hooked on the upper part of the device 2, the peripheral edge 31 of the waterproof sheet 3 is strangled by the string-shaped member 41 and is likely to be in close contact with the device 2.

[0058] Each support tool 22 on the upper part of the device 2 is provided with an identifier 23 for uniquely identifying, and each hooking tool 42 is provided with a mark 43 for specifying which support tool 22 with the identifier 23 it is supported by. Therefore, when the hooking tool 42 is hooked on the support tool 22, by matching the identifier 23 with the mark 43, the entanglement of the string-shaped member 41 is prevented.

[0059] Note that the present invention is not limited to the configuration of the above-described embodiments, and various modifications are possible without changing the gist of the invention.
