Embodiment for Carrying Out the Invention
[0015] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the drying device will be described with reference to the drawings. The drying device can change its form between a use state in which the frame bodies are laterally expanded so as to dry laundry, and a non-use state in which the frame bodies are folded so as to face each other along the vertical direction. Further, all the components of the drying device are formed of, for example, materials and wire rods made of stainless steel, have high rigidity, and have a good appearance. Also, the main components of the drying device may be made of a metal other than stainless steel such as an aluminum alloy or steel (steel with surface coating), or resin.
[0016] As shown in Fig. 1, the drying device 11 includes a frame member 12, a hook member 13 that can be hooked on a drying pole or an indoor duck rest, a lock member 15 rotatably provided with respect to the handle part 14 of the hook member 13, a coupler 16 connected to the hook member 13, a pair of arm members 17 extending in an arm shape so as to connect the frame member 12 and the coupler 16, and a pinch member 18 attached so as to be suspended from the frame member 12.
[0017] The hook member 13 has a hook portion 21 formed by bending a stainless steel wire into a "U" shape when viewed from the side, and a handle portion 14 provided integrally with the hook portion 21. The hook portion 21 has a locking portion 21A bent in a "U" shape at the tip. The locking portion 21A constitutes a portion that comes into contact with the duck board when the drying device 11 is hooked on the duck board or the like indoors. The hook member 13 is integrally formed, for example, by welding and joining three stainless steel wires. The lower end of the handle portion 14 has a gap 22 corresponding to the diameter of one wire between the wires, and the shaft portion 23 and the joint portion 24 of a connector 16 described later are inserted through the gap 22. For this reason, the connector 16 is rotatably connected to the handle portion 14 via the joint portion 24.
[0018] The lock member 15 is rotatably attached to the handle portion 14 that can be grasped by the user. The lock member 15 is formed linearly, for example, by a stainless steel wire. The lock member 15 has a key-shaped portion 26 bent in a key shape at its tip. The key-shaped portion 26 of the lock member 15 can be hooked inside the locking portion 21A as shown in FIG. 1. Any direction may be used as the direction for hooking the key-shaped portion 26 of the lock member 15 onto the locking portion 21A. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, the key-shaped portion 26 may be hooked onto the locking portion 21A from the inner side, or the key-shaped portion 26 may be hooked onto the locking portion 21A from the outer side so as to be in the direction opposite to that shown in FIG. 1. By hooking the key-shaped portion 26 onto the locking portion 21A in this way, it is possible to prevent the hook member 13 from falling off the drying pole.
[0019] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 6, the connector 16 has an elliptical ring portion 31 that extends horizontally in an elongated and flat elliptical shape, a shaft portion 23 linearly provided so as to project upward from the elliptical ring portion 31, and a joint portion 24 provided at the tip of the shaft portion 23. The joint portion 24 is formed in a spherical shape having a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the gap 22 of the handle portion 14, and is held inside the elliptical ring formed by the two wire rods constituting the handle portion 14. For this reason, the connector 16 does not fall off from the handle portion 14 of the hook member 13, and can rotate with a relatively high degree of freedom with respect to the handle portion 14 of the hook member 13.
[0020] One of the pair of arm members 17 extends in a "V" shape so as to connect the elliptical ring portion 31 of the connector 16 and the two first hooking portions 33 of the first frame body 32. The other of the pair of arm members 17 extends in a "V" shape so as to connect the elliptical ring portion 31 of the connector 16 and the two second hooking portions 35 of the second frame body 34. The arm member 17 is formed of, for example, a wire rod made of stainless steel.
[0021] The frame member 12 has a first frame body 32 formed in a frame shape by a wire rod located on the right side of FIG. 1, a second frame body 34 formed in a frame shape by a wire rod located on the left side of FIG. 1, and a pair of hinge portions 36 that rotatably connect the first frame body 32 and the second frame body 34. The frame member 12 is rotatable between a first position P1 in which the first frame body 32 and the second frame body 34 are deployed in the horizontal direction (for example, the horizontal direction) as shown in FIG. 1, and a second position P2 in which the first frame body 32 and the second frame body 34 are folded so as to face each other along the vertical direction (for example, the vertical direction) as shown in FIG. 6.
[0022] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the first frame body 32 includes a pair of first upper girders 41 linearly extending in the long side direction L of the frame member 12, a pair of first lower girders 42 provided below the first upper girders 41 and linearly extending in the long side direction L of the frame member 12, a plurality of first beams 43 extending in the short side direction S intersecting the long side direction L of the frame member 12 and spanning between the pair of first upper girders 41, a pair of first stopper portions 44 respectively provided at the ends of the pair of first upper girders 41, and a first hook portion 33 protruding archwise upward from the first upper girder 41 in the vicinity of the corner portion of the frame member 12. Each of the first upper girder 41, the first lower girder 42, the first beam 43, and the first hook portion 33 is formed of a wire rod and fixed at the intersection by welding or the like. The plurality of first beams 43 and the first hook portion 33 connect the first upper girder 41 and the first lower girder 42.
[0023] Each of the plurality of first beams 43 has a plurality of first pinch suspension portions 45 arranged in the short side direction S of the frame member 12. The first pinch suspension portions 45 are discretely provided at regular intervals with respect to the short side direction S of the frame member 12. The outermost first beam 43 in the frame member 12 has a first auxiliary beam 46 linearly extending to connect the first lower girders 42.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 2, the adjacent first pinch suspension portions 45 with respect to the long side direction L of the frame member 12 are displaced with respect to the short side direction S of the frame member 12. For this reason, the pinch members 18 that are suspended by these first pinch suspension portions 45 and are adjacent with respect to the long side direction L are also displaced with respect to the short side direction S of the frame member 12.
[0025] As shown in FIG. 3, each of the plurality of first pinch suspension lower parts 45 is formed by a wire rod. As shown in FIG. 3, the first pinch suspension lower part 45 has a groove part 47 formed in a "V" shape when viewed laterally when the frame member 12 is in the first position P1. The groove part 47 has a groove bottom 47A at its central part. When the frame member 12 is in the first position P1, the installation height of the groove part 47 increases as it moves away from the groove bottom 47A in the short side direction S. As will be described later, a part of the connecting part 64 of the pinch member 18 passes through the inside of this groove part 47. For this reason, when the frame member 12 is in the first position P1, the pinch member 18 is positioned at the groove bottom 47A of the groove part 47 by the action of gravity. Note that the shape of the groove part 47 is not limited to a "V" shape. The shape of the groove part 47 may be a parabolic shape convex downward, a "U" shape convex downward, or a semi-circular shape convex downward.
[0026] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, when the frame member 12 is in the second position P2, the groove part 47 of the first pinch suspension lower part 45 has an increasing installation height as it moves away from the groove bottom 47A in the short side direction S. For example, as shown in FIG. 5 when viewed from the front direction, the first pinch suspension lower part 45 is inclined at, for example, 5 to 45°, preferably 10 to 20° with respect to the horizontal plane. For this reason, when the frame member 12 is in the second position P2, the pinch member 18 is positioned at the groove bottom 47A of the groove part 47 by the action of gravity.
[0027] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the second frame body 34 includes a pair of second upper girders 51 linearly extending in the long side direction L of the frame member 12, a pair of second lower girders 52 provided below the second upper girders 51 and linearly extending in the long side direction L of the frame member 12, a plurality of second beams 53 extending in the short side direction S intersecting the long side direction L of the frame member 12 and spanning between the pair of second upper girders 51, a pair of second stopper portions 54 respectively provided at the ends of the pair of second upper girders 51, and a second hook portion 35 protruding in an arch shape upward from the second upper girder 51 in the vicinity of the corner portion of the frame member 12. Each of the second upper girders 51, the second lower girders 52, the second beams 53, and the second hook portion 35 is formed of, for example, a wire rod made of stainless steel and fixed at the intersections by welding or the like. The plurality of second beams 53 and the second hook portion 35 connect the second upper girder 51 and the second lower girder 52. The second stopper portion 54 can abut against the first stopper portion 44 when the frame member 12 is in the first position P1.
[0028] Each of the plurality of second beams 53 has a plurality of second pinch suspension portions 55 arranged in the short side direction S of the frame member 12. The second pinch suspension portions 55 are discretely provided at regular intervals with respect to the short side direction S of the frame member 12. The outermost second beam 53 in the frame member 12 has a second auxiliary beam 56 linearly extending to connect the second lower girders 52.
[0029] As shown in FIG. 2, the second pinch suspension portions 55 adjacent to each other with respect to the long side direction L of the frame member 12 are displaced with respect to the short side direction S of the frame member 12. For this reason, the pinch members 18 suspended by these second pinch suspension portions 55 and adjacent to each other with respect to the long side direction L are also displaced with respect to the short side direction S of the frame member 12.
[0030] Each of the plurality of second pinch suspension lower parts 55 has the same form as each of the plurality of first pinch suspension lower parts 45 described above. As shown in FIG. 1, each of the plurality of second pinch suspension lower parts 45 is formed of a wire material. The second pinch suspension lower part 55 has a groove part 47 formed in a "V" shape when viewed laterally when the frame member 12 is in the first position P1. The groove part 47 has a groove bottom 47A at its central part. When the frame member 12 is in the first position P1, the installation height of the groove part 47 increases as it moves away from the groove bottom 47A in the short side direction S. As will be described later, a part of the connecting part 64 of the pinch member 18 passes inside this groove part 47.
[0031] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, when the frame member 12 is in the second position P2, the plurality of second pinch suspension lower parts 55 are displaced with respect to the plurality of first pinch suspension lower parts 45 facing each other in the short side direction S of the frame member 12. For this reason, the pinch members 18 suspended by the plurality of second pinch suspension lower parts 55 are displaced with respect to the pinch members 18 suspended by the plurality of first pinch suspension lower parts 45 in the short side direction S of the frame member 12.
[0032] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, when the frame member 12 is in the second position P2, the installation height of the groove part 47 of the second pinch suspension lower part 55 increases as it moves away from the groove bottom 47A in the short side direction S. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, when viewed from the front direction, the second pinch suspension lower part 55 is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane by, for example, 5 to 45°, preferably 10 to 20°. For this reason, when the frame member 12 is in the second position P2, the pinch member 18 is positioned at the groove bottom 47A of the groove part 47 by the action of gravity.
[0033] The pinch member 18 suspended from the first pinch suspension lower part 45 and the pinch member 18 suspended from the second pinch suspension lower part 55 are intensively arranged in the vicinity of the intermediate plane C of the drying device 11 passing through the pair of hinge parts 36 when the frame member 12 is in the second position P2, as shown in FIG. 5. For this reason, when in the second position P2, the pinch member 18 suspended from the first pinch suspension lower part 45 and the pinch member 18 suspended from the second pinch suspension lower part 55 are located within the region between the surface 61 defined by the outer edge side of the first frame body 32 (for example, the first upper beam 41 and the first stopper part 44) and the surface 62 defined by the outer edge side of the second frame body 34 (for example, the second upper beam 51 and the second stopper part 54).
[0034] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the pinch member 18 has a main body part 63, a connecting part 64 passed through the groove part 47 of the first pinch suspension lower part 45 or the second pinch suspension lower part 55, and a pair of connecting parts 65 connecting the main body part 63 and the connecting part 64. Each of the pair of connecting parts 65 is formed in a rod shape forming two rings in series. One of the rings of the connecting part 65 is formed in an oval shape so as not to interfere with the rotation operation of the operation lever part 66 of the main body part 63.
[0035] The connecting part 64 has an annular part 71 having a substantially annular shape, a gap 72 provided in a part of the annular part 71, a first defining part 73 provided at one end of the annular part 71 and defining the periphery of the gap 72, a second defining part 74 provided at the other end of the annular part 71 and defining the periphery of the gap 72, and a second annular part 75 provided integrally with the annular part 71 below the annular part 71 and having a mountain shape. As shown in FIG. 3, since the annular part 71 is passed through the groove part 47, the connecting part 64 extends along the long side direction L as a whole.
[0036] The connecting portion 64 is formed of, for example, a wire made of stainless steel. The annular portion 71 is elastically deformable between a close position where the first regulating portion 73 and the second regulating portion 74 are close to each other and a separated position where the first regulating portion 73 and the second regulating portion 74 are separated from each other. By elastically deforming between the close position and the separated position, the connecting portion 64 can be fitted into or removed from the groove portion 47 of the first pinch suspension portion 45 or the second pinch suspension portion 55. With this connecting portion 64, the pinch member 18 can be attached to or removed from the frame member 12 with one touch. The second annular portion 75 forms a ring different from the annular portion 71 and has a substantially trapezoidal ring shape. The mountain-shaped second annular portion 75 has a pair of holding portions at positions where the skirt of the mountain shape or positions where a pair of bottom angles are formed are located inside thereof. The pair of holding portions can suspend and hold the pair of connecting portions 65.
[0037] As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the main body portion 63 includes a pair of clamping portions 81 each having a clamping surface 81A for clamping and holding the laundry, a pair of operation lever portions 66 for opening and closing the pair of clamping portions 81 between a closed position and an open position, and a coil spring portion 82 for connecting the pair of clamping portions 81 and the pair of operation lever portions 66. The clamping surface 81A extends along the short side direction S of the frame member 12. The closed position is a position where it is closed so as to clamp the laundry. The open position is a position where it is opened so as to release the laundry. The coil spring portion 82 can bias the pair of clamping portions 81 in a direction to bring them into contact with each other. The pair of operation lever portions 66 are rotated by a user so as to move away from or close to each other against the biasing force of the coil spring portion 82, whereby the pair of clamping portions 81 can be opened and closed between the closed position and the open position. At this time, the pair of operation lever portions 66 are rotatable along the long side direction L of the frame member 12, which is the direction in which the connecting portion 64 extends. Therefore, the rotation of the pair of operation lever portions 66 is made smooth.
[0038] Next, the operation of the drying device 11 of the present embodiment will be described. When the user uses the drying device 11 to dry laundry, as shown in FIG. 1, the drying device 11 is placed at the first position P1. At this time, the first stopper portion 44 is in contact with the second stopper portion 54. At this time, since the clamping surface 81A of the pinch member 18 is along the short side direction S of the frame member 12, it is easy for the user to dry the laundry along the short side direction S. Further, when at the first position P1, since each pinch member 18 is positioned in the groove portion 47 (groove bottom 47A) of the first pinch hanging portion 45 or the second pinch hanging portion 55, the pinch members 18 are surely discretely arranged with respect to the short side direction S, and the pinch members 18 do not get entangled with each other, resulting in good workability. Also, with respect to the long side direction L of the frame member 12, since the adjacent pinch members 18 are displaced with respect to the short side direction S and are staggered, the pinch members 18 do not get entangled with each other with respect to the long side direction L either, resulting in good workability.
[0039] Furthermore, when the user pinches and rotates the pair of operation lever portions 66 of the pinch member 18, since the pair of connection portions 65 serve as a guide when the finger is hooked, it is easy for the user to hook the finger. Further, the user may grip the positions of the pair of connection portions 65 together with the pair of operation lever portions 66 in order to rotate the pair of operation lever portions 66, or may rotate the pair of clamping portions 81 by rotating the pair of connection portions 65 together with the pair of operation lever portions 66. Also, since the ends of the pair of operation lever portions 66 are covered by the pair of connection portions 65, there is no risk that the pinch members 18 get entangled with each other through the operation lever portions 66. Further, since the rotation direction of the pair of operation lever portions 66 is along the long side direction L of the frame member 12, the risk that the operation lever portions 66 of the pinch members 18 adjacent to each other in the short side direction S get entangled is reduced.
[0040] Furthermore, when assembling the airing device 11 at the factory or when the user replaces the damaged pinch member 18, the attachment and detachment of the pinch member 18 can be performed as follows. That is, when attaching the pinch member 18 to the first pinch hanging portion 45 or the second pinch hanging portion 55, the operator presses the gap 72 between the first regulating portion 73 and the second regulating portion 74 of the connecting portion 64 against the first pinch hanging portion 45 or the second pinch hanging portion 55. As a result, the annular portion 71 of the connecting portion 64 is elastically deformed, and the gap 72 between the first regulating portion 73 and the second regulating portion 74 expands from the approaching position where the first regulating portion 73 and the second regulating portion 74 are close to the separating position. Thereby, the connecting portion 64 (annular portion 71) can be passed through the groove portion 47, and the pinch member 18 can be attached to the first frame body 32 or the second frame body 34 with one touch.
[0041] On the other hand, when removing the pinch member 18 from the first frame body 32 and the second frame body 34, similar to the attachment, the gap 72 between the first regulating portion 73 and the second regulating portion 74 of the connecting portion 64 is pressed against the first pinch hanging portion 45 or the second pinch hanging portion 55. As a result, the annular portion 71 of the connecting portion 64 is elastically deformed, and the gap 72 between the first regulating portion 73 and the second regulating portion 74 expands from the approaching position where the first regulating portion 73 and the second regulating portion 74 are close to the separating position. Thereby, the connecting portion 64 (annular portion 71) can be detached from the groove portion 47, and the pinch member 18 can be attached to the first frame body 32 or the second frame body 34 with one touch.
[0042] When the user finishes using the airing device 11 and stores it, as shown in FIG. 6, it is set to the second position P2 where the first frame body 32 and the second frame body 34 are folded so as to face each other along the vertical direction via the hinge portion 36. At this time, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, since the plurality of second pinch hanging portions 55 are displaced in the short side direction S with respect to the plurality of opposing first pinch hanging portions 45, the pinch member 18 suspended from the second pinch hanging portion 55 and the pinch member 18 suspended from the first pinch hanging portion 45 are not entangled with each other.
[0043] Also, since each pinch member 18 is positioned in the groove portion 47 (groove bottom 47A) by the first pinch hanging portion 45 or the second pinch hanging portion 55, the pinch member 18 on the opposing first pinch hanging portion 45 side and the pinch member 18 on the opposing second pinch hanging portion 55 side are prevented from becoming entangled with each other with even higher precision. Furthermore, since the rotation direction of the pair of operating lever portions 66 is along the long side direction L of the frame member 12, the risk of the opposing pinch members 18 becoming entangled with each other is further reduced.
[0044] 5, the pinch members 18 suspended from the first pinch hanging portion 45 and the pinch members 18 suspended from the second pinch hanging portion 55 are guided to gather in the center by the action of gravity, so that the pinch members 18 are positioned within the area between a surface 61 defined by the outer edge side of the first frame body 32 and a surface 62 defined by the outer edge side of the second frame body 34. Therefore, when the clothes drying device 11 is placed in the second position P2 and stored in an indoor storage space, the pinch members 18 do not protrude outward, and damage to the pinch members 18 due to the pinch members 18 being caught on surrounding structures is prevented as much as possible.
[0045] According to this embodiment, the following can be said: The clothes drying device 11 has a hinge portion 36, a first frame body 32 and a second frame body 34 rotatably connected via the hinge portion 36, and a frame member 12 that is rotatable between a first position P1 where the first frame body 32 and the second frame body 34 are deployed in the horizontal direction and a second position P2 where the first frame body 32 and the second frame body 34 are folded so as to face each other along the vertical direction, and a plurality of pinch members 18 suspended from each of the first frame body 32 and the second frame body 34. The frame member 12 includes a plurality of first pinch hanging parts 45 arranged in the short side direction S of the frame member 12 on the first frame body 32 and from which a plurality of pinch members 18 are suspended, and a plurality of second pinch hanging parts 55 arranged in the second frame body 34 on which a plurality of pinch members 18 are suspended and which are aligned in the short side direction S of the frame member 12, the plurality of second pinch hanging parts 55 being shifted in position in the short side direction S relative to the plurality of first pinch hanging parts 45 which they face when in the second position P2.
[0046] According to this configuration, when in the second position P2, the second pinch suspension lower part 55 is displaced in the short side direction S of the frame member 12 with respect to the first pinch suspension lower part 45. Therefore, when in the second position P2, the pinch members 18 are held at physically separated positions. As a result, it is possible to prevent as much as possible the occurrence of a problem such that the pinch members 18 become entangled with each other.
[0047] In the drying device 11, each of the first pinch suspension lower part 45 and the second pinch suspension lower part 55 has a groove part 47 having a groove bottom 47A at the center when in the second position P2, and the installation height increases as it moves away from the groove bottom 47A in the short side direction S. The groove part 47 has at least a part of the pinch member 18 passed through the inside thereof.
[0048] According to this configuration, the pinch member 18 can be collected at the groove bottom 47A by the action of gravity, and the pinch member 18 can be correctly arranged at a predetermined position in the short side direction S. As a result, it is possible to prevent as much as possible the occurrence of a problem such that the pinch member 18 suspended from the first frame body 32 when in the second position P2 and the pinch member 18 provided at a position facing this and suspended from the second frame body 34 become entangled with each other.
[0049] Each of the first pinch suspension lower part 45 and the second pinch suspension lower part 55 has a groove part 47 having a groove bottom 47A at the center when in the first position P1, and the installation height increases as it moves away from the groove bottom 47A in the short side direction S. The groove part 47 has at least a part of the pinch member 18 passed through the inside thereof.
[0050] According to this configuration, the pinch member 18 can be collected at the groove bottom 47A by the action of gravity, and the pinch member 18 can be correctly arranged at a predetermined position in the short side direction S. As a result, it is possible to prevent as much as possible the occurrence of a problem such that the distance between the adjacent pinch members 18 in the short side direction S of the frame member 12 becomes close when in the first position P1, and the adjacent pinch members 18 become entangled with each other.
[0051] The drying device 11 is provided on each of a plurality of pinch members 18, and has a connecting portion 64 that is at least partially annular, passed through the groove portion 47, and extends in the long side direction L of the frame member 12 that intersects the short side direction S. The drying device 11 also has a pair of clamping portions 81 provided on each of the plurality of pinch members 18, each having a clamping surface 81A along the short side direction S, and the pair of clamping portions 81 are rotatable between a closed position where the laundry is clamped and an open position where the laundry is released. The drying device 11 further has a pair of operation lever portions 66 provided on each of the plurality of pinch members 18, and the pair of operation lever portions 66 are rotatable along the long side direction L in which the connecting portion 64 extends, and the rotation of the pair of operation lever portions 66 can rotate the pair of clamping portions 81 between the closed position and the open position.
[0052] According to this configuration, since the rotation direction of the operation lever portion 66 is along the long side direction L of the frame member 12, a gap is ensured between adjacent pinch members 18 when in the first position P1, and a structure can be formed in which adjacent pinch members 18 are less likely to become entangled. Also, when in the second position P2, a gap is ensured between the pinch member 18 suspended from the first pinch suspension portion 45 and the pinch member 18 suspended from the second pinch suspension portion 55, and it is possible to prevent these from becoming entangled as much as possible when returning from the second position P2 to the first position P1.
[0053] The pinch member 18 suspended from the first pinch suspension portion 45 and the pinch member 18 suspended from the second pinch suspension portion 55 are positioned within the region between the surface 61 defined by the outer edge side of the first frame body 32 and the surface 62 defined by the outer edge side of the second frame body 34 when in the second position P2.
[0054] According to this configuration, when in the second position P2, the pinch member 18 does not protrude from the region between the surface 61 defined by the first frame body 32 and the surface 61 defined by the second frame body 34. Therefore, when the drying device 11 is inserted into the indoor storage space and stored in the state of the second position P2, a situation where the pinch member 18 gets caught on the structures around the storage space does not occur. This can prevent, as much as possible, the problem of damage to the pinch member 18 and the connecting portion 64.
[0055] One of the plurality of first pinch hanging portions 45 is displaced in the short side direction S with respect to another one of the plurality of first pinch hanging portions 45 adjacent to it in the long side direction L.
[0056] According to this configuration, since the first pinch hanging portions 45 adjacent to each other in the long side direction L are displaced in the short side direction S, the pinch members 18 suspended by them can be made into a structure that is not easily entangled at the first position P1 and the second position P2.
[0057] One of the plurality of second pinch hanging portions 55 is displaced in the short side direction S with respect to another one of the plurality of second pinch hanging portions 55 adjacent to it in the long side direction L.
[0058] According to this configuration, since the second pinch hanging portions 55 adjacent to each other in the long side direction L are displaced in the short side direction S, the pinch members 18 suspended by them can be made into a structure that is not easily entangled at the first position P1 and the second position P2.
[0059] The above-described embodiments can be implemented with various replacements and modifications.
