To provide a package that is portable and storable even if using a wrapper band for handle.SOLUTION: A package 1 has: a packaging paper which packages a plurality of roll-shaped sanitary tissue papers 2 or a sanitary tissue paper laminate in bulk; and a wrapper band 15 for handle of which both ends are joined to an external surface of the packaging paper. A known caramel-wrapping method can be adopted for the caramel wrapping. Specifically, for example, first, the toilet roll 2 placed on the flat wrapping paper 10 is wrapped so as to be rolled into the wrapping paper 10, and the overlapping portion of the wrapping paper 10 in the rolling direction is adhered (heat-welded) through the heat-sealing layer. Next, the excess portion beyond the end face position of the toilet roll 2 is folded and inserted on the end face side of the toilet roll 2 by folding the wrapping paper 10 in a mountain-folded shape and a valley-folded shape along the mountain-fold line and the valley-fold line, respectively. Then, the portions where the outer surfaces of the wrapping paper 10 overlap each other are adhered through the heat-sealing layer to cover the toilet roll 2 from the upper and lower end face sides. As a device for performing such caramel wrapping, a known device can be used. As a material constituting the heat-sealing layer, for example, a polyolefin-based resin or other thermoplastic resins can be used.

Claims

1. A package, comprising: a wrapping paper for wrapping a plurality of roll-shaped sanitary tissue papers or sanitary tissue paper laminates together; and a strip of paper for a handle having both ends joined to the outer surface of the wrapping paper (except when the package is configured to be carried by inverting it), wherein an intermediate portion of the strip of paper has a length that can be folded between joining portions of both ends of the strip of paper to the outer surface of the wrapping paper, and a temporary fixing means for temporarily fixing the intermediate portion of the strip of paper in a folded state between the joining portions of both ends of the strip of paper to the outer surface of the wrapping paper is provided.

2. The package according to claim 1, wherein the temporary fixing means is a releasable adhesive that joins the intermediate portions of the strip of paper to each other in a folded state.

3. The package according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the temporary fixing means is a releasable adhesive that joins the intermediate portion of the strip of paper to the outer surface of the wrapping paper in a folded state.
