Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] By the way, the above attachment is fixed to the frame member with screws and restrained. Therefore, the number of parts increases, and the processing and assembly man-hours increase. In addition, since it is fixed to the frame member with screws, there is a concern that rainwater may leak into the building through the screw holes when the screws become loose. Further, if fixing means other than screws are adopted, the fixing strength must be ensured.
[0005] The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a fitting that reduces the number of parts and assembly man-hours and obtains sufficient fixing strength.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object, the fitting according to the present invention includes a frame member constituting a frame body, a facing material provided on the inner peripheral side of the frame body, and an attachment provided between the frame member and the facing material. The frame member has a first engaged portion on one side along the prospective direction and a second engaged portion on the other side. The attachment has a first engaging portion that engages with the first engaged portion and a second engaging portion that engages with the second engaged portion. The second engaging portion and the second engaged portion are on the inner peripheral side of the first engaging portion and the first engaged portion. The first engaged portion makes the first engaging portion immovable with respect to the one side, and the second engaged portion engages the second engaging portion by snap fit to make it immovable with respect to the inner peripheral side.
Effect of the Invention
[0007] In the fitting according to the present invention, since the second engaging portion of the attachment engages with the second engaged portion by snap fit, screws are not required, and the number of parts and the number of assembly steps can be reduced. Further, since the second engaging portion and the second engaged portion are on the inner peripheral side of the first engaging portion and the first engaged portion, the distance from the center of the facing material becomes smaller, and the moment acting in the direction in which the snap fit comes off is suppressed, so that sufficient fixing strength can be obtained.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0009] Hereinafter, embodiments of the fitting according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited by this embodiment.
[0010] FIG. 1 is an overall view of a fitting 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention as seen from the indoor side. FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view taken along the arrow II-II in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along the arrow III-III in FIG. 1. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along the arrow IV-IV in FIG. 1. The left and right notations in the following description are based on the state as seen from the indoor side, that is, FIG. 1.
[0011] In the fitting 10, a series of left vertical frames 12, right vertical frames 14 extending vertically, and an upper frame 16 and a lower frame 18 disposed between the vertical frames 12 and 14 are assembled into a four-sided frame, and furthermore, a blind 20 is disposed between the vertical frame 12 and the vertical frame 14.
[0012] In this application, the prospective direction refers to the indoor / outdoor direction of the fitting 10 (the vertical direction of the paper surface in FIG. 1). The prospective surface refers to the surface extending along the prospective direction. The finding direction is the direction orthogonal to the prospective direction. In the case of a vertically long vertical frame 12 or the like, it refers to the left-right direction orthogonal to its longitudinal direction. In the case of a horizontally long upper frame 16 or the like, it refers to the up-down direction orthogonal to its longitudinal direction. The finding surface refers to the surface along the finding direction.
[0013] In addition to the outer frame being formed by the vertical frames 12, vertical frames 14, upper frame 16, and lower frame 18, the fitting 10 is regarded as having two small frames formed inside. The two frames are a first frame body 24a formed by the left vertical frame 12, right vertical frame 14, blind 20, and lower frame 18, and a second frame body 24b composed of the left vertical frame 12, right vertical frame 14, upper frame 16, and blind 20. The first frame body 24a and the second frame body 24b arranged vertically form a stepped window. Note that the fitting 10 may be a continuous window with vertical members disposed between the upper frame 16 and the lower frame 18, or a continuous stepped window with blinds 20 and vertical members disposed. The fitting to which the present invention is applied is not limited to continuous windows, stepped windows, and continuous stepped windows, and is applicable to windows that hold a facing material via an attachment to the frame members constituting the frame body.
[0014] In the first frame body 24a, a FIX window is constituted by a facing material 26. In the second frame body 24b, a shoji 28 whose four sides are supported by a frame is disposed. The shoji 28 constitutes a vertically sliding-out window that is opened to protrude to the outdoor side by an opening / closing mechanism provided in the second frame body 24b. The facing material 26 is, for example, laminated glass.
[0015] The frame members constituting the vertical frames 12, vertical frames 14, upper frame 16, lower frame 18, and blind 20 are extruded profiles formed of a metal such as an aluminum alloy or a resin. When using a resin for these frame members, a metal reinforcing material may be appropriately provided. The vertical frames 12 and vertical frames 14 apply frame members having the same cross-sectional shape. The inner peripheral side surface of the upper frame 16 and the lower side surface of the blind 20 have the same shape.
[0016] As shown in Fig. 4, the shoji 28 can be directly installed on the vertical frames 12 and 14 via opening and closing mechanisms 28a and 28b. On the other hand, since the outer peripheral shape of the facing material 26 is different from that of the shoji 28, it is attached to the muntin 20 via the attachment 32 and attached to the vertical frames 12 and 14 via the attachment 34.
[0017] The attachments 32 and 34 are basically extruded profiles formed of a metal such as an aluminum alloy. By using such attachments 32 and 34, it becomes possible to attach various types of facing materials and shoji to the frame members constituting the multi-pane window and the stepped window. The attachments 32 and 34 can also be formed of a resin material.
[0018] Hereinafter, mainly the first frame body 24a, the attachments 32 and 34 attached to the inner peripheral surface of the first frame body 24a, and the related parts will be described. Since the first frame body 24a forms one frame body, for convenience of explanation, the muntin 20 is also referred to as the upper frame 20. That is, the first frame body 24a is a frame body surrounded by the left vertical frame 12, the right vertical frame 14, the upper frame 20, and the lower frame 18.
[0019] Fig. 5 is an enlarged longitudinal sectional view of the upper frame 20, the attachment 32, and the facing material 26. The facing material 26 has a plurality of glass sheets 26a and seals 26b provided over the entire circumference in the vicinity of the outer peripheral edge on the indoor side and the outdoor side finding surfaces of the glass sheets 26a. The indoor side seal 26b of the facing material 26 is supported by a partition wall 46 described later, and the outdoor side seal 26b is supported by a pressing edge 45. The pressing edge 45 has a finding surface piece 45a that supports the outdoor side seal 26b and a projected surface piece 45b that extends from the outer peripheral end of the finding surface piece 45a toward the indoor side. A recess 45c is formed at the outdoor side intersection of the finding surface piece 45a and the projected surface piece 45b.
[0020] A face material outer peripheral space 30 is formed between the face material 26 and the attachment 32. A first fin piece 20b protruding toward the inner peripheral side is provided from a prospective surface 20a on the inner peripheral side of the upper frame 20. A first pocket-shaped recess 37 opening toward the inner peripheral side is formed at an outdoor-side end of the prospective surface 20a on the inner peripheral side. A convex portion 20c, which is also an inner peripheral-side end of the outdoor-side finding surface of the upper frame 20 at the outdoor-side end of the first pocket-shaped recess 37, protrudes slightly to the outdoor side, preventing water flowing down from above from being guided to the outdoor side and entering the inside of the first pocket-shaped recess 37. A second pocket-shaped recess 35 opening to the outdoor side is formed near the tip of the first fin piece 20b.
[0021] As is apparent from FIG. 5, the first pocket-shaped recess 37 is on the outdoor side (one side) along the prospective direction and on the outer peripheral side with respect to the second pocket-shaped recess 35. Conversely, the second pocket-shaped recess 35 is on the indoor side (the other side) along the prospective direction and on the inner peripheral side with respect to the first pocket-shaped recess 37. Also, when taking the face material 26 as a reference, the first pocket-shaped recess 37 is provided on the outdoor side of the face material 26 and on the outer peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge 26c. Similarly, the second pocket-shaped recess 35 is provided on the indoor side of the face material 26 and on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge 26c.
[0022] As described above, the inner peripheral side surface of the upper frame 16 and the lower side surface of the blind 20 (upper frame 20) have the same shape, and the first fin piece 20b and the pocket-shaped recesses 35 and 37 are also provided on the upper frame 16. A drain material 38 (see FIG. 2) is installed in the first pocket-shaped recess 37 in the upper frame 16. The drain material 38 guides rainwater leaking from above to the outdoor side so that water is less likely to splash on the shoji 28. A tight material 36 (see FIG. 2) is installed in the second pocket-shaped recess 35 in the upper frame 16. The tight material 36 forms a watertight structure with the shoji 28. The pocket-shaped recesses 35 and 37 in the upper frame 16 and the blind 20 have the same shape. Therefore, the first pocket-shaped recess 37 in the blind 20 has a shape in which the drain material 38 can be installed, and the second pocket-shaped recess 35 in the blind 20 has a shape in which the tight material 36 can be installed.
[0023] The attachment 32 can be divided into an outdoor-side portion 32a that is narrow in the finding direction and is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the facing material 26, and an indoor-side portion 32b that is wide in the finding direction and is located on the indoor side of the outdoor-side portion 32a and the facing material 26. However, the outdoor-side portion 32a and the indoor-side portion 32b are conceptual divisions for convenience of explanation.
[0024] In this embodiment, the expected dimensions of the outdoor-side portion 32a and the indoor-side portion 32b are substantially equal. In this embodiment, the expected dimension and the finding dimension of the indoor-side portion 32b are substantially equal. The outdoor-side portion 32a is a portion that is not exposed indoors. The outdoor-side portion 32a is a portion that supports the facing material 26 together with the pressing edge 45. The indoor-side portion 32b has an indoor wall 52, which will be described later, exposed indoors. A facing material outer peripheral space 30 is formed between the facing material 26 and the outdoor-side portion 32a of the attachment 32.
[0025] The outdoor-side portion 32a includes a surface contact portion 40, an inclined wall 42, a small piece 44, a partition wall 46, a small wall 48, and a first engaging portion 50. The surface contact portion 40 is in surface contact with the inner peripheral side expected surface 20a and occupies most of the outdoor-side portion 32a in the expected direction length. The partition wall 46 is connected to the indoor-side end of the surface contact portion 40 via the inclined wall 42 and extends in the finding direction. The partition wall 46 supports the glass 26a via the seal 26b together with the finding surface piece 45a of the pressing edge 45. A small piece 44 protrudes outward from the connection portion between the inclined wall 42 and the partition wall 46. The small wall 48 slightly protrudes inward from the outdoor-side end of the attachment 32. The first engaging portion 50 slightly protrudes outward from the outdoor-side end of the attachment 32. The first engaging portion 50 will be further described later.
[0026] The tip 45ba of the finding surface piece 45b of the pressing edge 45 is bent slightly inward and enters between the small piece 44 and the inclined wall 42 and engages with the tip of the small piece 44. The inclined wall 42 is inclined so as to approach the outer peripheral side from the indoor side to the outdoor side. The inner peripheral side end of the small wall 48 is bent indoors and engages with the recess 45c of the pressing edge 45.
[0027] The indoor side portion 32b has an indoor wall 52, a second fin piece 54, and a second engaging portion 56. The indoor wall 52 extends moderately long indoors along the prospective direction when viewed from the inner peripheral side end of the partition wall 46. The second fin piece 54 protrudes outward from the vicinity of the second engaging portion 56 on the indoor wall 52, and the tip thereof abuts against the inner peripheral side prospective surface 20a of the upper frame 20. The second engaging portion 56 protrudes outward from the indoor side end of the indoor wall 52. The second engaging portion 56 will be further described later.
[0028] FIG. 6 is an enlarged longitudinal sectional view of the upper frame 20, the first engaging portion 50, and the periphery thereof. As shown in FIG. 6, the first pocket-shaped recess 37 is formed so as to be surrounded by a bottom wall 37a, an outdoor side wall (first engaged portion) 37b, and an indoor side wall 37c on three sides. Further, the outdoor side wall 37b has a small protrusion (first engaged portion) 37ba protruding indoors, and the indoor side wall 37c has a small protrusion 37ca protruding outdoors. The protrusions 37ba and 37ca protrude so as to face each other, and the opening of the first pocket-shaped recess 37 is narrowed.
[0029] The first pocket-shaped recess 37 is one in which a drain material 38 (see FIG. 2) can be installed, but in this embodiment, the outdoor side wall 37b is also used as a first engaged portion with which the first engaging portion 50 engages. That is, the outdoor side wall 37b forms an inner peripheral protruding portion protruding inward, and has a protrusion 37ba as a first engaged protrusion protruding indoors, and this shape exhibits an engaged action.
[0030] The first engaging portion 50 has an outer peripheral protruding portion 50a protruding outward and a first engaging protrusion 50b protruding outdoors from the outer peripheral protruding portion 50a. The first engaging protrusion 50b is slightly inclined toward the outer peripheral side. In the first engaging portion 50, the first engaging protrusion 50b is located on the outer peripheral side of the protrusion 37ba and does not come off inward, and is engaged with the outdoor side wall 37b. Further, the tip of the protrusion 37ba abuts against the outer peripheral protruding portion 50a, making the first engaging portion 50 immovable relative to the outdoor side. The first engaging portion 50 may be immovable to the outdoor side when the first engaging protrusion 50b abuts against the outdoor side wall 37b.
[0031] FIG. 7 is an enlarged longitudinal sectional view of the second engaging portion 56 and its vicinity. As shown in FIG. 7, the second pocket-shaped recess 35 is formed so as to be surrounded by a bottom wall 35a, an inner peripheral side wall (second engaged portion) 35b, and an outer peripheral side wall 35c on three sides. Further, the inner peripheral side wall 35b has a small protrusion 35ba protruding outward, and the outer peripheral side wall 35c has a small protrusion 35ca protruding inward. The protrusions 35ba and 35ca protrude so as to face each other, and the opening of the second pocket-shaped recess 35 is narrowed. The bottom wall 35a is a part of the first fin piece 20b.
[0032] The second pocket-shaped recess 35 is capable of installing a tight material 36 (see FIG. 2). In this embodiment, the inner peripheral side wall 35b is also used as a second engaged portion with which the second engaging portion 56 engages. That is, the inner peripheral side wall 35b has an inner peripheral side wall 35b as a second engaged protrusion protruding outward to the outdoor side, and this shape exhibits an engaged action.
[0033] The second engaging portion 56 has a base protrusion 56a protruding outward from the vicinity of the end of the indoor wall 52, a second engaging protrusion 56b protruding inward from the tip of the base protrusion 56a, and a convex portion 56c slightly protruding inward from the base end of the base protrusion 56a. The second engaging protrusion 56b is provided with a corner portion 56ba protruding further outward from the tip. The corner portion 56ba is slightly inclined inward.
[0034] In the second engaging portion 56, the second engaging protrusion 56b is located on the outer peripheral side of the protrusion 35ba of the inner peripheral side wall 35b, and is engaged with the inner peripheral side wall 35b without slipping off to the inner peripheral side. Since the second engaging portion 56 is provided at the tip of the base protrusion 56a, the base protrusion 56a can be elastically inclined by an external force and displaced in the expected direction. The second fin piece 54 is in the vicinity of the second engaging portion 56 but is slightly separated therefrom, and does not interfere when the second engaging portion 56 is displaced to the outdoor side.
[0035] The second fin piece 54 is located near the second engaging portion 56. A rectangle with a small projected dimension is formed by the four sides of the first fin piece 20b, the second fin piece 54, the inner peripheral side projected surface 20a, and the indoor wall 52. The first fin piece 20b and the second fin piece 54 face each other and extend in opposite directions, and support each other in the finding direction at a close position and become stable.
[0036] The base projection 56a is separated from the inner peripheral side wall 35b by the protruding amount of the convex portion 56c, and there is no interference between them even when tilted toward the indoor side. Therefore, the second engaging projection 56b has a movement allowance toward the indoor side and can surely engage with the inner peripheral side wall 35b. As described above, the attachment 32 is made of an aluminum material and has a suitable strength, and since the base projection 56a has an appropriate length, it can be elastically displaced appropriately. Of course, it can be elastically deformed when the attachment 32 is made of a resin material. The second engaging projection 56b closes the opening of the second pocket-shaped recess 35.
[0037] The tip of the convex portion 56c is in contact with the end surface of the inner peripheral side wall 35b, making the second engaging portion 56 immovable toward the indoor side. The convex portion 56c that restricts movement toward the indoor side is provided at a part of or near the second engaging portion 56, and acts synergistically with the second engaging projection 56b to become stable. However, depending on the design conditions, the movement restricting means toward the indoor side corresponding to the convex portion 56c may be provided at different locations.
[0038] FIG. 8 is a schematic longitudinal sectional view showing a state where the attachment 32 is assembled to the upper frame 20. As shown in FIG. 8, when assembling the attachment 32 to the upper frame 20, first, the first engaging projection 50b (see FIG. 6) of the first engaging portion 50 is inserted into the first pocket-shaped recess 37 and arranged on the outer peripheral side of the projection 37ba. At this point, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 8, the attachment 32 is inclined, and the second engaging portion 56 is in an Non engaged state with the inner peripheral side wall 35b and is located on the inner peripheral side of the inner peripheral side wall 35b.
[0039] As shown in FIG. 6, the outer peripheral protrusion 50a and the first engaging protrusion 50b are formed to be moderately thinner than the opening width of the first pocket-shaped recess 37, and are easily inserted into the first pocket-shaped recess 37. In particular, since the first engaging protrusion 50b is shaped to be slightly inclined toward the outer peripheral side, it can be inserted obliquely between the bottom wall 37a and the protrusion 37ba, and is easily inserted.
[0040] There is a slight gap between the first engaging protrusion 50b and the bottom wall 37a and the protrusion 37ba, respectively, and there is a slight movement allowance in the finding direction. For this reason, the first pocket-shaped recess 37 does not restrain the attachment 32, and before the second engaging portion 56 is engaged, Non in the engaged state, the first engaging portion 50 is rotatably supported with the rotation center C.
[0041] When the attachment 32 is rotated counterclockwise in FIG. 8 with the rotation center C as a reference, the tip of the corner portion 56ba of the second engaging portion 56 abuts on the inner peripheral side wall 35b. Since the corner portion 56ba receives a reaction force from the inner peripheral side wall 35b toward the outdoor side, the base protrusion 56a is elastically deformed, and the second engaging protrusion 56b and the corner portion 56ba are temporarily displaced to the outdoor side.
[0042] Since the corner portion 56ba is shaped to be slightly inclined toward the inner peripheral side, the second engaging protrusion 56b is temporarily displaced moderately and slightly larger to the outdoor side. As the attachment 32 rotates counterclockwise, the corner portion 56ba is guided while sliding in substantially surface contact with the finding surface of the protrusion 35ba, and then passes over the protrusion 35ba. Since the reaction force on the second engaging protrusion 56b disappears, the base protrusion 56a returns to its original position, and the second engaging protrusion 56b and the corner portion 56ba enter the gap between the protrusion 35ba and the protrusion 35ca. Thereby, the attachment 32 is assembled to a predetermined position as shown by the phantom line in FIG. 8.
[0043] Thus, the second engaging portion 56 engages with the inner peripheral side wall 35b in a snap fit manner. Therefore, when assembling the attachment 32 to the upper frame 20, screws, drivers, etc. are not required, and the number of parts and the assembly man-hours can be reduced. However, when assembling the attachment 32, it may be lightly tapped with a tool such as a hammer depending on the case. Also, since the attachment 32 of the fitting 10 is fixed by snap fit without using screws, there is no concern about loosening over time. Since screws are not used, screw holes are not required in the upper frame 20 to be attached, and there is no concern about water leakage through the screw holes.
[0044] The attachment 32 assembled to the upper frame 20 is restricted from moving by the protrusion 37ba (see FIG. 6) abutting against the outer peripheral protrusion 50a on the outdoor side and by the inner peripheral side wall 35b (see FIG. 7) abutting against the convex portion 56c on the indoor side. Also, on the outer peripheral side, the inner peripheral side prospecting surface 20a abuts against the surface contact portion 40 and the second fin piece 54 to restrict movement. Further, on the inner peripheral side, the first engaging protrusion 50b engages with the protrusion 37ba at the outdoor side end portion and the second engaging protrusion 56b engages with the inner peripheral side wall 35b at the indoor side end portion to restrict movement. In this way, the attachment 32 is restricted from moving in four directions and is stabilized.
[0045] FIG. 9 is a schematic longitudinal sectional view of the state where an external force F1 acts on the facing material 26 toward the indoor side. In FIGS. 9 and 10, the deformation of the facing material 26 is exaggeratedly shown. As shown in FIG. 9, an external force F1 may act on the facing material 26 from the outdoor side toward the indoor side. The external force F1 is mainly the force due to wind. For modeling purposes, it is assumed that the external force F1 acts concentratedly at the center of the facing material 26.
[0046] When an external force F1 acts, a counterclockwise moment M1 acts between the upper frame 20 and the attachment 32. This moment M1 is mainly supported by the protrusion 37ba from the first engaging portion 50 (see FIG. 6). In the support by the protrusion 37ba, the first engaging protrusion 50b comes into stronger contact with the protrusion 37ba, and there is no concern of coming out of the first pocket-shaped recess 37. If the distance between the acting point of the external force F1 and the first engaging portion 50 is L1, the moment M1 acting on the location of the first engaging portion 50 by the external force F1 is expressed as M1 = F1 × L1.
[0047] FIG. 10 is a schematic longitudinal sectional view of the state where an external force F2 acts on the facing material 26 toward the outdoor side. As shown in FIG. 10, an external force F2 may act on the facing material 26 from the indoor side toward the outdoor side. The external force F2 is, for example, a force caused by a Karman vortex due to wind. For the purpose of modeling, it is assumed that the external force F2 acts intensively at the center of the facing material 26.
[0048] When an external force F2 acts, a clockwise moment M2 acts between the upper frame 20 and the attachment 32. This moment M2 is mainly supported by the inner peripheral side wall 35b from the second engaging portion 56 (see FIG. 7). In the support by the inner peripheral side wall 35b, a force is applied to the second engaging protrusion 56b in a direction of coming out of the inner peripheral side wall 35b. If the distance between the acting point of the external force F2 and the second engaging portion 56 is L2, the moment M2 acting on the location of the second engaging portion 56 by the external force F2 is expressed as M2 = F2 × L2.
[0049] Incidentally, since the second engaging portion 56 and the inner peripheral side wall 35b as the second engaged portion are on the inner peripheral side of the first engaging portion 50 and the outdoor side wall 37b as the first engaged portion, L2 < L1. Therefore, if the external forces F1 and F2 are of the same appropriate magnitude, the moment M2 acting on the second engaging portion 56 will be suppressed to be smaller than the moment M1 acting on the first engaging portion 50. Thus, although the moment M2 acts in the direction of pulling the second engaging portion 56 out of the inner peripheral side wall 35b, the second engaging portion 56 is prevented from coming off because the moment M2 is small. As a result, the attachment 32 can obtain sufficient fixing strength without using a fastener such as a screw.
[0050] Note that since the first engaging portion 50 and the first pocket-shaped recess 37 are provided on the outer peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge 26c of the facing material 26, and the second engaging portion 56 and the second pocket-shaped recess 35 are provided on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge 26c, the second engaging portion 56 is more surely located on the inner peripheral side than the first engaging portion 50. Since the first pocket-shaped recess 37 and the first engaging portion 50 are provided on the outer peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge 26c, there is no interference when assembling the facing material 26 to the attachment 32. Since the first pocket-shaped recess 37 is provided on the outer peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge 26c, it is suitable for providing the water drainage member 38 in terms of position. Since the second pocket-shaped recess 35 is provided on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge 26c, it is suitable for providing the sealing material 36 in terms of position.
[0051] FIG. 11 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the left vertical frame 12, the attachment 34, and the facing material 26. Since the right vertical frame 14, the attachment 34, and their assembled states are symmetric with those shown in FIG. 11, the illustration and description thereof are omitted.
[0052] As shown in FIG. 11, the facing material 26 has its indoor-side seal 26b supported by the partition wall 46 and its outdoor-side seal 26b supported by the presser edge 45. The presser edge 45 is the same as that shown in FIG. 5. A facing material outer peripheral space 30 is formed between the facing material 26 and the attachment 34. The facing material outer peripheral space 30 is the same space that communicates with the space (see FIG. 5) between the facing material 26 and the attachment 32. That is, the facing material outer peripheral space 30 is formed to communicate over the four sides of the facing material 26.
[0053] A first fin piece 12b that protrudes inward is provided on the inner peripheral side prospective surface 12a of the vertical frame 12. The first fin piece 12b has the same shape as the first fin piece 20b in the upper frame 20, and a second pocket-shaped recess 35 that opens to the outdoor side is formed near the tip. The second pocket-shaped recess 35 is the same as that shown in FIGS. 5 and 7. The vertical frame 12 is not provided with the first pocket-shaped recess 37 at the outdoor-side end of the upper frame 20. A first engaged portion 60 is provided at the outdoor-side end of the vertical frame 12.
[0054] The attachment 34 is provided with a surface contact portion 40, an inclined wall 42, a small piece 44, a partition wall 46, an indoor wall 52, a second fin piece 54, and a second engagement portion 56 similar to those of the attachment 32. Note that although these components in the attachment 34 may have slightly different dimensions from those in the attachment 32, they are given the same reference numerals for easy understanding and detailed description is omitted.
[0055] The attachment 34 is provided with a small wall 62. The small wall 62 corresponds to the small wall 48 in the attachment 32, but its found dimension is shorter than that of the small wall 48. The attachment 34 is not provided with the first engagement portion 50 in the attachment 32. Instead, a first engagement portion 64 is provided. The first engagement portion 64 and the first engaged portion 60 will be further described later.
[0056] The attachment 34 is provided with a partition wall 66. The partition wall 66 protrudes from the indoor side end of the small piece 44 toward the outer peripheral side, and its end abuts on the inner peripheral side projected surface 12a. The partition wall 66 and the partition wall 46 extend substantially linearly along the finding direction. The partition wall 66 partitions between a first space 68 up to the inclined wall 42 on the outdoor side and a second space 70 up to the second fin piece 54 on the indoor side. Also, the second fin piece 54 partitions between the second space 70 on the outdoor side and an auxiliary space 72 up to the first fin piece 12b on the indoor side. The first space 68, the second space 70, and the auxiliary space 72 communicate vertically, and each communicates with the outside air at its lower end. The peripheral space 30 of the facing material also communicates with the outside air at its lower end.
[0057] The first space 68 and the second space 70 each communicate with the outside air and are equal pressure spaces. It is conceivable that rainwater outside seeps along the surface contact portion 40 between the inner peripheral side projected surface 12a and the attachment 34. However, since the surface contact portion 40 is appropriately long in the projected direction, it is difficult to reach the first space 68. Also, since the first space 68 has the outside air pressure, there is no pressure difference with the outside air and there is no action of sucking in water. Even if water reaches the first space 68, since the second space 70 has the same pressure as the first space 68 and there is no pressure difference, the second space 70 has no action of sucking in water from the first space 68, and it is almost impossible for water to reach the second space 70. Although the second space 70 is on the indoor side, an appropriately large area is secured and it is likely to be maintained at the outside air pressure.
[0058] FIG. 12 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the vertical frame 12, the first engaging portion 64, and its periphery. As shown in FIG. 12, the first engaged portion 60 protrudes inward from the inner peripheral side projected surface 12a of the vertical frame 12. Also, the first engaged portion 60 has a small protrusion 60a protruding indoors at its tip.
[0059] The first engaging portion 64 has a small first engaging protrusion 64a protruding outdoors and a small recess 64b recessed indoors between the small wall 62. The first engaging protrusion 64a is the outdoor side end of the surface contact portion 40.
[0060] The first engaging portion 64 has a first engaging protrusion 64a positioned on the outer peripheral side of the protrusion 60a and is engaged with the first engaged portion 60 without slipping off to the inner peripheral side. Further, the tip of the protrusion 60a is in contact with the recess 64b, making the first engaging portion 64 immovable relative to the outdoor side. The first engaging portion 64 may be immovable to the outdoor side when the first engaging protrusion 64a abuts against the first engaged portion 60.
[0061] Such an attachment 34 has a first engaging portion 64 and a second engaging portion 56 that act in the same manner as the first engaging portion 50 and the second engaging portion 56 in the above-described attachment 32 and are attached to the vertical frame 12. The attachment 34 does not require screws during assembly, reducing the number of parts and the assembly man-hours.
[0062] When attaching the attachment 34 to the vertical frame 12, although not shown in the drawings, first, the first engaging protrusion 64a of the first engaging portion 64 is positioned on the outdoor side of the protrusion 60a, and the attachment 34 is rotated about this portion as the rotation center, causing the second engaging portion 56 to fit into the second pocket-shaped recess 35. This is substantially the same as the assembly method of the attachment 32 described with reference to FIG. 8.
[0063] The second engaging portion 56 in the attachment 34 is on the indoor side and the inner peripheral side with respect to the first engaging portion 64, and can suppress the moment M2 generated when an external force F2 acting from the indoor side to the outdoor side as shown in FIG. 10 is applied, obtaining sufficient fixing strength.
[0064] In the above-described embodiment, the first engaging portions 50 and 64 are relatively on the outdoor side and the outer peripheral side, and the second engaging portion 56 is relatively on the indoor side and the inner peripheral side. However, the indoor side and the outdoor side may be interchanged. That is, the upper frame 16 (see FIG. 2) whose inner peripheral side has the same configuration as the blind 20 has a shape corresponding to the outward-opening shoji 28. However, if the shoji 28 has an inward-opening configuration, the relative positions of the second pocket-shaped recess 35 and the first pocket-shaped recess 37 are reversed. Therefore, the relative positions of the second pocket-shaped recess 35 and the first pocket-shaped recess 37 with respect to the blind 20 are also reversed, and the first engaging portions 50 and 64 are relatively on the indoor side and the outer peripheral side, and the second engaging portion 56 is on the outdoor side and the inner peripheral side. Even in such a case, the same operational effects as those of the above-described embodiment can be obtained.
[0065] The fitting according to the present invention includes a frame member constituting a frame body, a facing material provided on the inner peripheral side of the frame body, and an attachment provided between the frame member and the facing material.
[0066] In the attachment of such a fitting, since the second engaging portion engages with the second engaged portion by snap fit, screws are not required, and the number of parts and the man-hours for assembly can be reduced. Further, since the second engaging portion and the second engaged portion are on the inner peripheral side of the first engaging portion and the first engaged portion, the distance from the center of the facing material becomes smaller, and the moment acting in the direction in which the snap fit comes off is suppressed, and sufficient fixing strength is obtained.
[0067] In the fitting according to the present invention, the first engaged portion is such that when the second engaging portion is with respect to the second engaged portion NonWhen in the engaged state, the attachment may be rotatably supported with respect to the first engaging portion. This facilitates the assembly of the attachment.
[0068] In the fitting according to the present invention, the first engaged portion may have an inner peripheral protrusion protruding toward the inner peripheral side and a first engaged protrusion protruding from the inner peripheral protrusion toward the other side, and the first engaging portion may have an outer peripheral protrusion protruding toward the outer peripheral side and a first engaging protrusion protruding from the outer peripheral protrusion toward the one side and positioned on the outer peripheral side of the first engaged protrusion. Thereby, the first engaging portion is securely engaged with the first engaged portion and movement toward the inner peripheral side is restricted.
[0069] In the fitting according to the present invention, the second engaged portion may have a second engaged protrusion protruding toward the one side, and the second engaging portion may have a second engaging protrusion positioned on the outer peripheral side of the second engaged protrusion and elastically displaceable in the expected direction. Thereby, the second engaging portion is securely engaged with the second engaged portion and a snap-fit structure is formed.
[0070] In the fitting according to the present invention, the first engaged portion may be a part of a first pocket-shaped recess in which a water drainage member can be installed. Thereby, when applying a shoji screen or the like without providing an attachment on the frame member, it is preferable because there is no need to separately provide a water drainage member installation portion.
[0071] In the fitting according to the present invention, the second engaged portion may be a part of a second pocket-shaped recess in which a tight material can be installed. Thereby, when applying a shoji screen or the like without providing an attachment on the frame member, it is preferable because there is no need to separately provide a tight material installation portion.
[0072] In the fitting according to the present invention, the first engaging portion and the first engaged portion may be provided on the outer peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge of the facing material, and the second engaging portion and the second engaged portion may be provided on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral edge of the facing material. Thereby, the second engaging portion and the second engaged portion are more securely positioned on the inner peripheral side than the first engaging portion and the first engaged portion, and the distance from the central portion of the facing material can be reduced.
[0073] In the fitting according to the present invention, the frame member has a first fin piece protruding inward from the inner peripheral side prospective surface wall, the attachment has a second fin piece protruding outward from the vicinity of the second engaging portion and abutting against the inner peripheral side prospective surface wall of the frame member, and the second engaged portion may be provided on the first fin piece. The first fin piece and the second fin piece complement and support each other, and the peripheral portions of the second engaging portion and the second engaged portion are stabilized.
[0074] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and it goes without saying that it can be freely changed without departing from the gist of the present invention.
