Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a bathroom equipped with a shower bar device.
Background Art
[0002] In a bathroom, it is known to install a shower bar on which a shower hook capable of holding a shower head is movably attached up and down. By arranging the shower hook in a state where it is moved downward with respect to the shower bar, the user can take a shower while sitting on a chair or the like installed in the bathroom. Also, by arranging the shower hook in a state where it is moved upward with respect to the shower bar, the user can take a shower even while standing. However, considering the user's posture when taking a shower, there is still room for improvement in the structure of the shower bar and the shower hook.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] The present invention has been made based on the recognition of such problems, and an object thereof is to provide a shower bar device that can more comfortably take a shower.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0005] The first invention is a shower bar attached to the wall surface of a bathroom in a vertically extended state, a shower hook having a holding portion for removably holding a shower head, and being attached to the shower bar so as to be slidable in the vertical direction. The shower bar is characterized in that as the shower hook moves downward, the holding portion is moved forward. This is a shower bar device.
[0006] When the user is seated on a chair or the like installed in the bathroom, the upper body is positioned at a position farther from the shower bar than in the state of standing up directly. According to this shower bar device, as the shower hook moves downward, the shower bar moves the holding portion forward. Therefore, in the state where the "shower hook is downward" when the user is seated on a chair or the like and uses it, compared with the state where the "shower hook is upward", the holding portion that holds the shower head moves forward. As a result, the shower head can be brought closer to the upper body of the user who has moved backward by sitting on a chair or the like, and it is easier to direct water at the upper body of the seated user. Thereby, in the seated state, the user can comfortably take a shower.
[0007] Also, in the state where the "shower hook is upward" when the user uses it in a standing-up state, compared with the state where the "shower hook is downward", the holding portion that holds the shower head moves backward. Thereby, for example, when the user stands up directly from a state of sitting on a chair or the like, it is possible to prevent the shower head from getting too close to the upper body of the user who has moved forward by standing up. As a result, even when the user stands up directly from a state of sitting on a chair or the like, it is possible to easily direct water at the upper body of the user, and the user can comfortably take a shower. Therefore, it is possible to provide a shower bar device that allows the user to take a shower more comfortably whether in a seated state or a standing-up state.
[0008] The second invention is a shower bar device according to the first invention, wherein the shower bar increases the amount of backward movement of the holding portion according to the unit height as the shower hook faces upward.
[0009] According to this shower bar device, when the user finely adjusts the height of the shower hook in the state of "the shower hook is in the lower position" when using while sitting on a chair or the like, it is possible to suppress the holding portion from moving back and forth more than necessary, and it is possible to make it easier to adjust the height of the shower hook. Further, by increasing the amount of backward movement of the holding portion in the state of "the shower hook is in the upper position" when the user stands up, when the user stands up directly from the state of sitting on a chair or the like, it is possible to more appropriately suppress the shower head from approaching too closely to the upper body of the user who has moved forward by standing up.
[0010] The third invention is a shower bar device according to the first or second invention, wherein the holding portion is located in front of the lower end of the shower bar when the shower hook is positioned at the uppermost position.
[0011] According to this shower bar device, when the holding portion is located in front of the lower end of the shower bar when the shower hook is positioned at the uppermost position, it is possible to suppress the lower end of the shower bar from getting in the way and making it difficult to grasp the shower head held by the holding portion even when the shower hook is positioned at the uppermost position. Further, when the user uses it in a standing state, it is possible to suppress the lower end of the shower bar from getting in the way, and it is possible to comfortably take a bath at an appropriate position.
[0012] The fourth invention is the shower bar device according to the third invention, wherein the shower hook is attached to the shower bar so as to be slidable in the vertical direction and rotatable about the shower bar, and when the holding part positions the shower hook at the uppermost position and rotates the shower hook so that the holding part is located in front of the shower bar, the shower hook is located in front of the lower end of the shower bar.
[0013] According to this shower bar device, even when the shower hook is made rotatable, it is possible to more reliably suppress the situation that the lower end of the shower bar gets in the way and the shower head held by the holding part becomes difficult to grasp.
Advantages of the Invention
[0014] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a shower bar device that allows a more comfortable shower.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0016] Hereinafter, embodiments will be described with reference to the drawings. In each drawing, the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted as appropriate. FIG. 1 is a perspective view schematically showing a bathroom according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1, the bathroom 2 includes a shower bar device 10, a wall panel 11, a washstand counter 12, a faucet device 13, a shower head 14, and a mirror 15. Although not shown for the sake of convenience in FIG. 1, the bathroom 2 further includes, for example, a wash floor, a bathtub, and a ceiling panel.
[0017] The wall panel 11 has a wall surface 11a. The wall panel 11 is installed in the bathroom 2 with the wall surface 11a standing substantially vertically from the end of the wash floor. Thereby, the wall panel 11 forms the wall surface of the bathroom 2. The wall surface 11a is, in other words, the wall surface of the bathroom 2.
[0018] Also, the bathroom 2 has, for example, a plurality of wall panels, and a rectangular space is formed by the plurality of wall panels. The wall panel 11 is, for example, a wall panel installed adjacent to the bathtub among the plurality of wall panels of the bathroom 2.
[0019] The shower bar device 10 includes a shower bar 20 and a shower hook 22. The shower bar 20 is attached to the wall surface 11a of the wall panel 11 in a state of extending in the vertical direction. The shower hook 22 has a holding portion 30 that detachably holds the shower head 14, and is attached to the shower bar 20 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction.
[0020] By making the shower hook 22 slidable in the vertical direction, the shower bar device 10 enables adjustment of the vertical position of the shower head 14 held by the holding portion 30.
[0021] Therefore, in the shower bar device 10, for example, by adjusting the vertical position of the shower hook 22, the user can be bathed in the water discharged from the shower head 14 at an appropriate position corresponding to the user's physique and the like. In the present specification, "water" shall include heated "hot water".
[0022] Further, the shower bar device 10 is configured such that the shower hook 22 can be slid vertically, so that the user can be appropriately bathed in the water discharged from the shower head 14 whether the user is standing up or sitting on a chair or the like placed on the washroom floor.
[0023] Furthermore, the shower bar device 10 enables the shower bar 20 to be used as a handrail. Thereby, for example, when standing up from a sitting state on a chair or the like, by grasping the shower bar 20, it is possible to facilitate standing up. Alternatively, when moving between the bathtub and the washroom floor, by grasping the shower bar 20, it is possible to facilitate the movement between the bathtub and the washroom floor. Thus, in the shower bar device 10, by enabling the shower bar 20 to be used as a handrail, it is possible to assist the user's actions such as standing up and moving.
[0024] The distance D1 from the lower end of the shower bar 20 to the floor surface of the washroom floor is, for example, 80 cm or less. Thereby, even when the user is sitting on a chair or the like, it is possible to easily grasp the shower bar 20. Also, the distance D1 from the lower end of the shower bar 20 to the floor surface of the washroom floor is, for example, 60 cm or more. Thereby, it is possible to suppress the lower end of the shower bar 20 from hitting the user's feet or the like and becoming an obstacle.
[0025] The vertical length L1 of the shower bar 20 is, for example, 90 cm or more and 120 cm or less. The height to the ceiling of the bathroom 2 is approximately 2 m. Therefore, by setting the length L1 as described above, the shower bar device 10 can be applied to various types of bathrooms 2, and the shower hook 22 can be arranged at an appropriate height.
[0026] The washbasin counter 12 is attached to the wall surface 11a of the wall panel 11 below the shower bar device 10. The washbasin counter 12 has an upper surface 12a. The upper surface 12a of the washbasin counter 12 extends in the left - right direction and the front - rear direction, allowing articles such as washbasins and shampoo bottles to be placed thereon.
[0027] The shower bar device 10 is arranged, for example, within the width of the washbasin counter 12 in the left - right direction. In other words, the washbasin counter 12 is arranged at a position overlapping the shower bar device 10 in the vertical direction. In this case, the lower end of the shower bar device 10 (the lower end of the shower bar 20) may be attached to the washbasin counter 12. However, the washbasin counter 12 may be arranged at a position shifted from the shower bar device 10 in the left - right direction. It is sufficient that at least the upper surface 12a of the washbasin counter 12 is arranged below the lower end of the shower bar device 10.
[0028] The faucet device 13 is attached above the washbasin counter 12 to the wall surface 11a of the wall panel 11. The faucet device 13 has a water discharge portion 13a that discharges water downward. The faucet device 13 is arranged within the width of the washbasin counter 12 in the left - right direction. The faucet device 13 discharges water from the water discharge portion 13a, for example, toward the upper surface 12a of the washbasin counter 12. Thereby, water can be stored in the washbasin or the like placed on the upper surface 12a of the washbasin counter 12.
[0029] The shower head 14 is connected to the faucet device 13 via a hose 16. The shower head 14 has, for example, a head body 14a having a water - spraying plate 14w provided with a plurality of water discharge holes, and a substantially rod - shaped handle portion 14b extending from the head body 14a. The shower head 14 is connected to the hose 16 at the end of the handle portion 14b opposite to the head body 14a. The handle portion 14b has, for example, a tapered shape that gradually becomes thinner from the head body 14a side toward the hose 16 side.
[0030] The faucet device 13 switches between stopping and discharging water from the water discharge part 13a and also switches between stopping and discharging water from the shower head 14. Further, the faucet device 13 further has, for example, a function of adjusting the temperature of the water discharged from the water discharge part 13a or the shower head 14, a function of adjusting the flow rate of the water discharged from the water discharge part 13a or the shower head 14, and the like.
[0031] The faucet device 13 extends in the left - right direction and the front - rear direction and has a shelf - shaped upper surface 13b on which articles such as a shampoo bottle can be placed. In this way, the faucet device 13 functions as a faucet for discharging water and also functions as a counter on which articles can be placed. In other words, the faucet device 13 is a faucet counter. Thereby, the usability of the bathroom 2 can be improved. However, the faucet device 13 does not necessarily have to have a shelf shape. The faucet device 13 may be any faucet device having at least a function of switching between stopping and discharging water from the water discharge part 13a and the shower head 14.
[0032] The shower bar device 10 is provided, for example, between the faucet device 13 and the bathtub in the left - right direction. Thereby, when moving between the bathtub and the washroom floor, it is easier to use the shower bar 20 as a handrail.
[0033] The mirror 15 is attached above the faucet device 13 with respect to the wall surface 11a of the wall panel 11. Further, the mirror 15 extends, for example, in the up - down direction and is attached to the wall surface 11a side - by - side with the shower bar device 10 in the left - right direction. Thereby, the user can confirm his or her own appearance whether in a state of sitting in front of the faucet device 13 or in a state of standing and taking a bath with the water discharged from the shower head 14. Note that the mirror 15 is provided in the bathroom 2 as necessary and can be omitted.
[0034] FIG. 2 is a perspective view schematically showing a shower hook according to the embodiment. FIGS. 3(a) and 3(b) are cross - sectional views schematically showing a shower hook according to the embodiment. As shown in FIGS. 2, 3(a) and 3(b), the shower hook 22 of the shower bar device 10 has a holding portion 30 for detachably holding the shower head 14, and further has a hook body 32, a mounting portion 34, and a locking mechanism 36.
[0035] The hook body 32 extends in the horizontal direction. In other words, the hook body 32 extends in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the shower bar 20. Note that the extending direction of the hook body 32 is not strictly limited to the horizontal direction. The extending direction of the hook body 32 only needs to have a component extending at least in the horizontal direction.
[0036] The holding portion 30 is provided on one end side of the hook body 32. The holding portion 30 is, for example, a substantially U-shaped member having a recess 30a corresponding to the shape of the handle portion 14b of the shower head 14. The holding portion 30 detachably holds the shower head 14 by inserting the tapered handle portion 14b of the shower head 14 into the recess 30a from above and engaging the handle portion 14b with the recess 30a.
[0037] The hook body 32 rotatably supports the holding portion 30 about the horizontal axis. The hook body 32 also has a latch mechanism 38 for holding the holding portion 30 at a predetermined rotation angle. Thereby, the angle of the shower head 14 about the horizontal axis can be adjusted. For example, it is possible to adjust the water discharged from the shower head 14 to be directed downward or slightly forward.
[0038] The latch mechanism 38 has, for example, a plunger 38a and a coil spring 38b. The plunger 38a is provided inside the hook body 32 so as to be movable in the front-rear direction. The coil spring 38b biases the plunger 38a forward.
[0039] The holding part 30 has a plurality of groove parts 30b for adjusting the rotation angle on the back side. The plunger 38a is provided between the holding part 30 and the coil spring 38b, and is pressed against the holding part 30 by the biasing force of the coil spring 38b, thereby engaging with any one of the plurality of groove parts 30b provided on the back side of the holding part 30.
[0040] In this way, the rotation angle of the holding part 30 is maintained by the engagement between the groove part 30b and the plunger 38a. Then, by applying a force to the holding part 30, rotating the holding part 30 against the biasing force of the coil spring 38b, and engaging the plunger 38a with another groove part 30b, the rotation angle of the holding part 30 can be adjusted. In other words, the water discharge angle of the shower head 14 can be adjusted.
[0041] Note that the configuration of the latch mechanism 38 is not limited to the above configuration. The configuration of the latch mechanism 38 may be any configuration that can hold the holding part 30 at a predetermined rotation angle.
[0042] The attachment part 34 is used for attachment to the shower bar 20. The shower hook 22 is attached to the shower bar 20 via the attachment part 34. The attachment part 34 is provided, for example, on the other end side (opposite to the holding part 30) of the hook body 32. The attachment part 34 is, for example, in the shape of a through hole corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the shower bar 20. The shower hook 22 is attached to the shower bar 20 by inserting the shower bar 20 through the attachment part 34. The shape of the attachment part 34 is not limited to the through hole shape, and may be, for example, a groove shape or the like. The shape of the attachment part 34 may be any shape that enables the attachment of the shower hook 22 to the shower bar 20.
[0043] The lock mechanism 36 is a mechanism for holding the shower hook 22 at an arbitrary position in the vertical direction with respect to the shower bar 20. The lock mechanism 36 has, for example, a movable part 40 and a coil spring 42.
[0044] The movable part 40 is supported by the hook body 32 so as to be movable in the vertical direction. Thereby, the movable part 40 moves between the initial position shown in Fig. 3(a) and the pressing position shown in Fig. 3(b). The pressing position is a position pushed downward from the initial position.
[0045] The coil spring 42 biases the movable part 40 upward. The movable part 40 is biased by the coil spring 42 and is held in the initial position by engaging with the hook body 32.
[0046] The movable part 40 has an operation part 40a. The operation part 40a protrudes upward from the hook body 32 in a state where the movable part 40 is held in the initial position. The movable part 40 moves from the initial position to the pressing position by pressing the operation part 40a and pushing it downward against the biasing force of the coil spring 42.
[0047] Also, in a state where the movable part 40 is in the initial position, a part of it enters into the attachment part 34 and abuts against the shower bar 20 inserted through the attachment part 34. The movable part 40 presses the shower bar 20 by the biasing force of the coil spring 42 and sandwiches the shower bar 20 together with the attachment part 34. Thereby, in a state where the movable part 40 is in the initial position, due to the frictional force accompanying the pressing of the shower bar 20, the shower hook 22 is held at a predetermined position in the vertical direction with respect to the shower bar 20.
[0048] The movable part 40 has, for example, an elastic body 44. For the elastic body 44, for example, rubber or the like is used. The friction coefficient of the elastic body 44 is larger than the friction coefficient of the main body part of the movable part 40 made of a hard resin material such as plastic. In a state where the movable part 40 is in the initial position, by inserting the elastic body 44 into the attachment part 34, the elastic body 44 is brought into contact with the shower bar 20. Thereby, the frictional force generated between the movable part 40 and the shower bar 20 can be increased, and the vertical position of the shower hook 22 can be held more reliably.
[0049] When the movable part 40 moves from the initial position to the pressing position, it moves downward and moves in a direction away from the mounting part 34. For example, the movable part 40 moves in a direction away from the mounting part 34 by sliding obliquely with respect to the axial direction of the mounting part 34.
[0050] When the movable part 40 moves from the initial position to the pressing position, it retracts from the mounting part 34. When the movable part 40 moves from the initial position to the pressing position, it retracts the elastic body 44 from the mounting part 34. Thereby, when the movable part 40 moves from the initial position to the pressing position, the state in which the shower bar 20 is sandwiched together with the mounting part 34 is released. Therefore, in a state where the movable part 40 is moved to the pressing position, the shower hook 22 can be moved vertically along the shower bar 20.
[0051] In this way, with the shower hook 22, by gripping the hook body 32 and pressing the operation part 40a to move the movable part 40 to the pressing position, the vertical position of the shower hook 22 can be adjusted. Then, by releasing the pressing of the operation part 40a and moving the movable part 40 to the initial position, the shower hook 22 can be held at the adjusted position. Thereby, the shower hook 22 can be arranged at an arbitrary position in the vertical direction with respect to the shower bar 20. Therefore, in the shower bar device 10, the shower head 14 can be arranged at a height preferred by the user.
[0052] Note that the configuration of the locking mechanism 36 is not limited to the above, and any configuration may be used as long as the shower hook 22 can be held at an arbitrary position in the vertical direction with respect to the shower bar 20.
[0053] FIG. 4(a) and FIG. 4(b) are side views schematically showing the shower bar device according to the embodiment. Fig. 4(a) schematically shows the state where the shower hook 22 is positioned at the uppermost position relative to the shower bar 20. Fig. 4(b) schematically shows the state where the shower hook 22 is positioned at the lowermost position relative to the shower bar 20. In addition, in Fig. 4(a) and Fig. 4(b), the illustration of the hose 16 is omitted for convenience.
[0054] As shown in Fig. 4(a) and Fig. 4(b), the shower bar 20 has a bar body 50, an upper support portion 52, and a lower support portion 54. The bar body 50 is rod-shaped and extends in the vertical direction. The bar body 50 is, for example, round bar-shaped. The shower bar device 10 is attached to the wall surface 11a of the wall panel 11 with the rod-shaped bar body 50 substantially vertical, for example, when viewed from the front side.
[0055] However, the shower bar device 10 may be attached to the wall surface 11a with the bar body 50 inclined left and right when viewed from the front side. The bar body 50 only needs to be attached to the wall surface 11a in a state where it extends at least in the vertical direction. The inferior angle formed by the extending direction of the bar body 50 and the perpendicular direction is, for example, 45° or less. Thereby, the vertical position of the shower hook 22 can be appropriately adjusted.
[0056] The attachment portion 34 of the shower hook 22 is, for example, a through-hole shape with a substantially circular cross-section corresponding to the round bar-shaped bar body 50. Thereby, the shower hook 22 is attached to the shower bar 20 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction and rotatable in the horizontal direction about the shower bar 20. In the shower bar device 10, by rotating the shower hook 22, the water discharged from the shower head 14 can be discharged not only forward but also in an obliquely right direction or an obliquely left direction without being limited to the front. Therefore, the usability of the shower bar device 10 can be further improved.
[0057] The configuration that enables the shower hook 22 to rotate about the shower bar 20 is not limited to the above and may be any configuration. The cross-sectional shapes of the bar body 50 and the attachment portion 34 do not necessarily have to be circular.
[0058] The upper support portion 52 supports the upper end of the bar body 50. One end of the upper support portion 52 is attached to the wall surface 11a of the wall panel 11. The upper support portion 52 extends forward from the wall surface 11a and supports the upper end of the bar body 50 at the other end side. The lower support portion 54 supports the lower end of the bar body 50. One end of the lower support portion 54 is attached to the wall surface 11a of the wall panel 11. The lower support portion 54 extends forward from the wall surface 11a and supports the lower end of the bar body 50 at the other end side.
[0059] The bar body 50 is held in a state separated from the wall surface 11a by the upper support portion 52 and the lower support portion 54. Thereby, the shower hook 22 can be attached to the bar body 50 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction and rotatable in the horizontal direction about the shower bar 20, and the bar body 50 can be easily grasped as a handrail.
[0060] The length of the lower support portion 54 in the front-rear direction is longer than the length of the upper support portion 52 in the front-rear direction. In other words, the amount of protrusion of the lower support portion 54 forward from the wall surface 11a is larger than the amount of protrusion of the upper support portion 52 forward from the wall surface 11a. Thereby, the upper support portion 52 and the lower support portion 54 support the bar body 50 such that the lower end side is positioned forward of the upper end side.
[0061] By supporting the bar body 50 as described above, the shower bar 20 moves the holding portion 30 forward as the shower hook 22 moves downward. In other words, the shower hook 22 moves forward as it moves downward. In the present specification, "forward" is the direction in which the wall surface 11a of the wall panel 11 faces.
[0062] The bar body 50 is curved, for example, so as to protrude toward the front side. Thereby, the bar body 50 can be supported such that the lower end side is positioned more forward than the upper end side. Further, the lower end side of the bar body 50 is closer to being vertical than the upper end side of the bar body 50, and the bar body 50 is curved so as to go backward as it goes upward. Thereby, in the shower bar 20, as the shower hook 22 goes upward, the amount of backward movement of the holding portion 30 according to the unit height increases. That is, by curving the bar body 50 as described above, on the lower side of the bar body 50, the amount of movement in the front-rear direction accompanying the vertical movement of the shower hook 22 can be made smaller than that on the upper side of the bar body 50.
[0063] Also, as shown in FIG. 4(a), when the holding portion 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the uppermost position with respect to the shower bar 20, the holding portion 30 is positioned in front of the lower end 20a of the shower bar 20.
[0064] As described above, the shower hook 22 is attached to the shower bar 20 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction and rotatable about the shower bar 20. When the holding portion 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the uppermost position and rotates the shower hook 22 so that the holding portion 30 is positioned in front of the shower bar 20, the holding portion 30 is positioned in front of the lower end 20a of the shower bar 20. Here, "the holding portion 30 is positioned in front of the shower bar 20" means, in other words, that when viewed from the front side, the holding portion 30 overlaps the shower bar 20.
[0065] FIGS. 5(a) and 5(b) are side views schematically showing a bathroom according to the embodiment. As shown in FIG. 5(a), when the holding portion 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the uppermost position with respect to the shower bar 20, the holding portion 30 is positioned behind the front end 12b of the washstand counter 12. In FIGS. 5(a) and 5(b), the illustration of the hose 16 is omitted for convenience.
[0066] When the holding part 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the uppermost position with respect to the shower bar 20 and rotates the shower hook 22 so that the holding part 30 is positioned in front of the shower bar 20, it is positioned behind the front end 12b of the wash counter 12.
[0067] Also, as shown in FIG. 5(b), when the holding part 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the lowermost position with respect to the shower bar 20, it is also positioned behind the front end 12b of the wash counter 12. When the holding part 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the lowermost position with respect to the shower bar 20 and rotates the shower hook 22 so that the holding part 30 is positioned in front of the shower bar 20, it is positioned behind the front end 12b of the wash counter 12.
[0068] When the user is seated on a chair or the like installed in the bathroom 2, the upper body is positioned at a position farther from the shower bar 20 compared to the state of standing up directly (see FIG. 5). According to the bathroom 2 and the shower bar device 10 according to the present embodiment, as the shower hook 22 moves downward, the shower bar 20 moves the holding part 30 forward. Therefore, in the state where the "shower hook 22 is in the downward state" used when the user is seated on a chair or the like, compared with the state where the "shower hook 22 is in the upward state", the holding part 30 that holds the shower head 14 moves forward. Thereby, the shower head 14 can be brought closer to the upper body of the user who has moved backward by sitting on a chair or the like. Also, as shown in FIG. 5(b), by rotating the holding part 30 to adjust the water discharge angle of the shower head 14, it is possible to easily direct water at the upper body of the seated user. Thereby, in the seated state, the user can comfortably take a shower.
[0069] Also, in the state where the user stands up and the "shower hook 22 is in the upper position" during use, the holding part 30 that holds the shower head 14 moves backward compared to the state where the "shower hook 22 is in the lower position". As a result, for example, as shown in Fig. 5(a), when the user stands up directly from the seated state on a chair or the like, it is possible to prevent the shower head 14 from getting too close to the upper body of the user who has moved forward by standing up. Thus, even when the user stands up directly from the seated state on a chair or the like, it is possible to easily direct water at the upper body of the user and take a comfortable shower. For example, by rotating the holding part 30 to adjust the water discharge angle of the shower head 14, it is possible to discharge water from above the user toward the whole body of the user like an overhead shower. Therefore, it is possible to provide the shower bar device 10 that allows the user to take a more comfortable shower whether in the seated state on a chair or the like or in the standing state.
[0070] In the bathroom 2 and the shower bar device 10, as the shower bar 20 moves upward, the amount of backward movement of the holding part 30 corresponding to the unit height increases as the shower hook 22 moves upward. Thereby, when finely adjusting the height of the shower hook 22 in the state where the "shower hook 22 is in the lower position" during use with the user seated on a chair or the like, it is possible to prevent the holding part 30 from moving back and forth more than necessary, and it is possible to easily adjust the height of the shower hook 22. Also, by increasing the amount of backward movement of the holding part 30 in the state where the "shower hook 22 is in the upper position" during use with the user standing up, when the user stands up directly from the seated state on a chair or the like, it is possible to more appropriately prevent the shower head 14 from getting too close to the upper body of the user who has moved forward by standing up.
[0071] Also, in the bathroom 2 and the shower bar device 10, when the holding part 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the uppermost position, it is located in front of the lower end 20a of the shower bar 20. Thereby, even when the shower hook 22 is positioned at the uppermost position, it is possible to suppress the situation that the lower end 20a of the shower bar 20 gets in the way and it becomes difficult to grasp the shower head 14 held by the holding part 30. Also, when the user uses it in a standing-up state, it is possible to suppress the lower end 20a of the shower bar 20 from getting in the way, and the user can comfortably take a bath at an appropriate position.
[0072] Also, in the bathroom 2 and the shower bar device 10, the shower hook 22 is attached to the shower bar 20 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction and rotatable about the shower bar 20. When the holding part 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the uppermost position and rotates the shower hook 22 so that the holding part 30 is located in front of the shower bar 20, it is located in front of the lower end 20a of the shower bar 20. Thereby, even when the shower hook 22 is made rotatable, it is possible to more reliably suppress the situation that the lower end 20a of the shower bar 20 gets in the way and it becomes difficult to grasp the shower head 14 held by the holding part 30.
[0073] Also, in the bathroom 2 and the shower bar device 10, when the holding part 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the uppermost position, it is located behind the front end 12b of the washbasin counter 12. Thereby, even when the shower hook 22 is positioned at the uppermost position, it is possible to suppress the shower hook 22 from getting in the way of the user's hair washing or body washing work. Therefore, it is possible to provide a bathroom 2 in which the user can more comfortably take the water discharged from the shower head 14 whether in a seated state on a chair or in a standing-up state.
[0074] In the bathroom 2 and the shower bar device 10, when the holding part 30 rotates the shower hook 22 so that the shower hook 22 is positioned at the uppermost position and the holding part 30 is positioned in front of the shower bar 20, it is located behind the front end 12b of the washbasin counter 12. Accordingly, even when the shower hook 22 is made rotatable, it is possible to more reliably prevent the shower hook 22 from interfering with operations such as washing the hair and body of a user standing up.
[0075] In the bathroom 2 and the shower bar device 10, even when the holding part 30 positions the shower hook 22 at the lowermost position, since it is located behind the front end 12b of the washbasin counter 12, it is also possible to prevent the shower hook 22 from interfering with operations such as washing the hair and body of a user sitting on a chair or the like.
[0076] Figs. 6(a) to 6(c) are side views schematically showing a modified example of the shower bar device according to the embodiment. In addition, components that are substantially the same as those in the above embodiment in terms of function and configuration are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted. In Figs. 6(a) to 6(c), for the sake of convenience, the illustration of the hose 16 is omitted.
[0077] As shown in Fig. 6(a), in the shower bar device 10a, the bar body 50a of the shower bar 20 has a first portion P1 and a second portion P2. The first portion P1 is a portion that extends linearly substantially vertically upward from the lower support portion 54. The second portion P2 is a linearly extending portion that extends upward from the upper end of the first portion P1 and is inclined so as to face rearward as it extends upward. In other words, the shape of the bar body 50a is a shape in which a part is inclined by bending a linear bar in the middle.
[0078] Even with the bar body 50a configured in this way, similar to the above embodiment, the holding part 30 can be moved forward as the shower hook 22 moves downward.
[0079] As shown in FIG. 6(b), in the shower bar device 10b, the bar body 50b of the shower bar 20 is linear and inclined so as to face rearward as it faces upward. Even with the bar body 50b configured in this way, as in the above embodiment, as the shower hook 22 faces downward, the holding portion 30 can be moved forward. Thus, the shape of the bar body 50b may be, for example, a linearly inclined shape.
[0080] As shown in FIG. 6(c), in the shower bar device 10c, the bar body 50c of the shower bar 20 is curved so as to protrude toward the rear side. Even with the bar body 50c configured in this way, as in the above embodiment, as the shower hook 22 faces downward, the holding portion 30 can be moved forward.
[0081] Thus, the configuration of the shower bar 20 may be any configuration that allows the holding portion 30 to be moved forward as the shower hook 22 faces downward.
[0082] Although some embodiments of the present invention have been described, these embodiments are presented by way of example and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These novel embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, replacements, and changes can be made without departing from the gist of the invention. These embodiments and their modifications are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are also included in the invention described in the claims and its equivalent scope.
