Abstract

To predict, when producing a fluorine resin, a melt flow rate (MFR) value of a mixture containing a fluorine resin in the polymerization step.SOLUTION: Provided is a prediction device (10) which predicts an MFR value of a fluorine resin in a polymerization tank in a polymerization step of the fluorine resin at a specific timing after charge of raw materials and before completion of production, comprising: an acquisition part (112) which acquires, as sensor values for prediction, a pressure value in the polymerization tank as measured in a present polymerization step of the fluorine resin and a stirring current value of a stirrer which stirs an inside of the polymerization tank; and a prediction part (113) which predicts an MFR value at a specific timing of a mixture containing a fluorine resin in the present polymerization step according to a learnt model which has learnt a relation between sensor values for learning measured in past polymerization steps of fluorine resins of the same kind as the above-mentioned fluorine resin and MFR values measured regarding the fluorine resins at the specific timing of the past polymerization steps by using the sensor values for prediction acquired by the acquisition part (112).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
