AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing agricultural implements with drive units located near the top mast and transmission obstruct visual inspection and can compromise the aesthetic appearance and operational cohesion.

Method used

The agricultural work machine features a posture control mechanism with an actuator positioned behind the tilling and transmission units, using links and a cam link system to control the soil leveling bodies, ensuring the actuator is hidden from view and does not interfere with visual confirmation or aesthetics.

Benefits of technology

The configuration allows for unobstructed visual inspection and improved aesthetic appearance while maintaining operational efficiency and cohesion of components.

Abstract

To provide an agricultural machine including a control mechanism related to adjustment of a leveling body, disposed appropriately so as not to spoil appearance and not to disturb visual confirmation.SOLUTION: An agricultural machine comprises a machine frame including a mounting part and a transmission part, a tilling part for tilling a ground with power transmitted from the transmission part, and a leveling body whose attitude is controlled by an attitude control part on a rear side of the tilling part. The attitude control part includes a first link connected to a rotational fulcrum, a second link connected to the first link and the leveling body, a freely-rotational swinging arm engaged with the first link so as to switch between restriction and derestriction of rotational turning of the first link, a cam link engaged with the swinging arm to rotationally turn the swinging arm, and an actuator disposed behind the mounting part and the transmission part to rotationally turn the cam link and disposed at a position fitting within a projection plane in an advancing direction of the mounting part and the transmission part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
