Abstract
To allow a pedestrian to recognize where an area where a sensor can detect an object, is.SOLUTION: An infrastructure sensor includes: a sensor unit that detects a pedestrian in a detection area including a passage area which includes a crosswalk where traffic lights for pedestrians are installed and which is provided for a pedestrian to pass the crosswalk, and a standby area which is provided adjoining the passage area, for the pedestrian to stand by; a control unit that, when the sensor unit detects the pedestrian in the standby area, outputs a control signal for use in controlling switching of lighting and extinguishing of signal lamps of the traffic lights; and an output unit that outputs information, which represents a position of the standby area, to a road surface in the standby area or a space above the road surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
