Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of child car seats, and more particularly to seat back assemblies and child car seats. [Background technology]

[0002] A child car seat is a device that is installed in a vehicle and secures a child in the car seat with a restraint system to ensure the child's safety. Child car seats can minimize injuries to children in the event of an emergency braking or an accidental collision, and are therefore widely accepted by consumers and widely used around the world.

[0003] Current child car seats typically include a seat, a backrest connected to the seat, and a headrest and side wings connected to the backrest. The headrest and side wings are generally adjustable relative to the backrest to accommodate children of different body sizes. In one child car seat currently on the market, the side wings can be pivoted by adjusting the height of the headrest relative to the backrest, thereby achieving the goal of simultaneously adjusting the height of the headrest and the width of the side wings. However, such a child car seat has a complex structure that is difficult to operate.

[0004] Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, a seat back assembly and a child car seat having a simple structure are needed. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a seat back assembly having a simple structure.

[0006] Another object of the present disclosure is to provide a child car seat having a simple structure. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] To achieve the above object, the present disclosure provides a seat back assembly including a backrest, a headrest, and side wings. The headrest is slidably attached to an upper end of the backrest, and the side wings are disposed on sides of the backrest and can be folded and deployed relative to the backrest. The seat back assembly further includes a drive member disposed on the backrest or the headrest and movable together with the headrest relative to the backrest. The headrest has at least an initial position close to the backrest and an operating position that drives the side wings to deploy relative to the backrest. The side wings are folded onto the backrest when the headrest slides to a position between the initial position and the operating position. The drive member drives the side wings to deploy relative to the backrest when the headrest slides away from the backrest beyond the operating position.

[0008] Preferably, the side wings are rotatably attached to the backrest.

[0009] Preferably, the lower ends of the side wings are pivotally connected to the backrest.

[0010] Preferably, the drive member is slidably mounted to the backrest.

[0011] Preferably, the seat back assembly of the present disclosure further includes a guide post disposed at the rear of the seat back, the drive member being slidably sleeved on the guide post.

[0012] Preferably, the guide post extends in the height direction of the backrest.

[0013] Preferably, the drive member pushes the side wings to deploy against the backrest when the headrest slides away from the backrest beyond the operating position.

[0014] Preferably, the side wing includes a pressure-receiving structure that protrudes in a direction approaching the drive member, and the headrest drives the side wing to deploy against the backrest via the drive member pressing the pressure-receiving structure.

[0015] Preferably, the pressure-receiving structure is located above the drive member when the headrest is in its initial position, and one of the drive member and the pressure-receiving structure is provided with an inclined surface structure, and the other of the drive member and the pressure-receiving structure faces the inclined surface structure.

[0016] Preferably, a limiting device is provided between the side wing and the backrest for limiting the width of folding and unfolding of the side wing relative to the backrest.

[0017] Preferably, the seat back assembly of the present disclosure further includes an elastic member disposed between the side wings and the backrest, the elastic member having a tendency to constantly urge the side wings to fold relative to the backrest.

[0018] Preferably, the restriction device includes a slot structure and a protrusion structure disposed within and slidable within the slot structure, the slot structure being disposed on one of the backrest and the side wing, and the protrusion structure being attached to the other of the backrest and the side wing.

[0019] Preferably, the elastic member is disposed at the rear of the side wing, one end of the elastic member is connected to the protruding structure, and the other end of the elastic member is connected to the side wing.

[0020] Preferably, the resilient member is a spring.

[0021] Preferably, the extension direction of the slot structure and the movement direction of the drive member are arranged to intersect.

[0022] The child car seat of the present disclosure includes a seat body and the above-described seat back assembly, with the lower end of the backrest attached to the seat body.

[0023] Compared with the prior art, the seat back assembly of the present disclosure further includes a drive member disposed on the headrest and moving together with the headrest relative to the backrest. The headrest has at least an initial position close to the backrest and an operating position that drives the side wings to deploy relative to the backrest. The side wings are folded onto the backrest when the headrest is positioned between the initial position and the operating position, and the drive member drives the side wings to deploy relative to the backrest when the headrest moves away from the backrest beyond the operating position. Therefore, when the height of the headrest is adjusted, the headrest can drive the two side wings to deploy via the drive member, thereby simultaneously adjusting the width between the two side wings while the headrest is being adjusted, thereby providing ease of use and simple operation for children of different body sizes. Meanwhile, the two side wings can be simultaneously driven to deploy by only one drive member, thereby significantly simplifying the structure of the seat back assembly.

[0024] It can be seen that a child car seat having the seat back assembly of the present disclosure provides the same technical effect. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0026] To better explain the technical contents and structural features of the present disclosure, embodiments will be described in detail in conjunction with the accompanying drawings below.

[0027] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 , a child car seat 100 of the present disclosure includes a seat back assembly 10 and a seat main body 20. The seat back assembly 10 is disposed on the upper end of the seat main body 20 and is supported and fixed by the seat main body 20. Specifically, the seat back assembly 10 includes a backrest 11, a headrest 12, and side wings 13. The headrest 12 is slidably attached to the upper end of the backrest 11, thereby allowing the height of the headrest 12 to be adjusted relative to the backrest 11. The side wings 13 are disposed on the sides of the backrest 11 and are foldable and unfoldable relative to the backrest 11, thereby allowing the side wings 13 to be foldable and unfoldable relative to the backrest 11. Preferably, the side wings 13 are disposed on both the left and right sides of the backrest 11, respectively, and the included angle between the plane on which the side wings 13 are located and the plane on which the backrest 11 is located is constant. The two side wings 13, the backrest 11, and the seat body 20 together enclose an open cavity for a child to sit in. A user can adjust the headrest 12 on the backrest 11, and the headrest 12 can be raised and lowered on the backrest 11, thereby adjusting the headrest 12 to accommodate the child's head and providing ease of use for children of different body sizes. Furthermore, a user can adjust the side wings 13 via the backrest 11, and the side wings 13 can be unfolded or folded relative to the backrest 11 and adjusted according to the size of the open cavity, thereby providing ease of use for children of different body sizes and providing better protection for the child sitting in the child car seat 100. For example, but not limited to, the position of the headrest 12 on the seat back 11 can be adjusted to easily adjust the height of the headrest 12. Note that the seat back 11, headrest 12, and side wings 13 of the present disclosure are implemented by known structures, and related details thereof will be omitted here. The seat back assembly 10 will be described in further detail below in conjunction with Figures 1 to 6.

[0028] 2 to 6, the seat back assembly 10 further includes a drive member 14 disposed on the headrest 12 and moving together with the headrest 12 relative to the backrest 11. The headrest 12 has at least an initial position (see FIG. 3) close to the backrest 11 and an operating position (see FIGS. 4 and 5) for driving the side wings 13 to unfold relative to the backrest 11. When the headrest 12 slides to a position between the initial position and the operating position, the side wings 13 are folded onto the backrest 11, and when the headrest 12 slides away from the backrest 11 beyond the operating position, the drive member 14 drives the side wings 13 to unfold relative to the backrest 11. Therefore, when the height of the headrest 12 is adjusted, the headrest 12 can be driven to deploy the two side wings 13 via the drive member 14, thereby synchronously adjusting the width between the two side wings 13 while the headrest 12 is being adjusted, thereby providing ease of use and simple operation for children of different body sizes. Meanwhile, the two side wings 13 can be driven to deploy by only one drive member 14, thus significantly simplifying the structure of the seat back assembly 10. Specifically, the side wings 13 are rotatably attached to the backrest 11 to facilitate adjustment of folding and deployment. Preferably, a preferred method for achieving the rotatable attachment of the side wings 13 to the backrest 11 is to pivotally connect the lower ends of the side wings 13 to the backrest 11. Therefore, the connection relationship between the side wings 13 and the backrest 11 is simple, making installation and arrangement easy.

[0029] As shown in FIGS. 2 to 6 , the drive member 14 is slidably mounted on the seat back 11 to allow the headrest 12 to rapidly drive and move the drive member 14. Preferably, to allow the drive member 14 to slide more smoothly on the seat back 11, the seat back assembly 10 further includes guide posts 15 disposed at the rear of the seat back 11, and the drive member 14 is slidably fitted onto the guide posts 15. Preferably, the guide posts 15 are disposed on both the left and right sides of the rear of the seat back 11. The guide posts 15 may be, for example, but are not limited to, a tubular plastic rod or a tubular metal rod, and the drive member 14 may be, for example, but are not limited to, a tubular plastic member or a tubular metal member. To enhance the structural stability of the two guide posts 15, a connecting rod 16 is mounted between the two guide posts 15. Furthermore, the top of the guide post 15 does not extend beyond the side wing 13 to minimize undesirable effects on the appearance of the child car seat 10. In this embodiment, the top of the guide post 15 is, for example, substantially flush with the top of the side wing 13, but is not limited thereto. Specifically, the guide post 15 extends in the height direction of the backrest 11. Therefore, when the headrest 12 is adjusted away from the backrest 11, the drive member 14 is correspondingly driven to slide on the guide post 15, so that the drive member 14 directly and quickly slides upward together with the headrest 12. Note that in this embodiment, the drive member 14 can be disposed on the headrest 12 by a flexible member. For example, the drive member 14 can be connected to the headrest 12 by a rope or steel wire. Depending on actual requirements, the drive member 14 may also be disposed on the headrest 12 by a rigid member. For example, the drive member 14 may be attached to the headrest 12 by a flexible pin. Alternatively, the drive member 14 may be, for example, but not limited to, a part of the headrest 12. In other embodiments, the drive member 14 may be further disposed on the backrest 11, as long as it can move together with the headrest 12.Preferably, in this embodiment, when the headrest 12 is in the initial position, the headrest 12 is positioned close to the backrest 11, which is suitable for, but not limited to, small children. When the headrest 12 is in the operating position, the headrest 12 is not too far from the backrest 11, which is suitable for, but not limited to, small to medium-sized children. The operating positions can be adjusted according to the requirements of different applications.

[0030] As shown in FIGS. 2 to 6 , when the headrest 12 slides away from the backrest 11 beyond the operating position, the driving member 14 pushes the side wings 13 to deploy them relative to the backrest 11. Therefore, the transmission relationship between the driving member 14 and the side wings 13 is simple and convenient. Specifically, the side wings 13 are provided with pressure-receiving structures 131 that protrude toward the driving member 14. The driving member 14 presses the pressure-receiving structures 131 to drive the side wings 13 to deploy relative to the backrest 11. Therefore, the driving member 14 can easily press the side wings 13 to deploy them via the pressure-receiving structures 131. For example, in this embodiment, the pressure-receiving structures 131 are sheet-like structures. Depending on actual needs, the pressure-receiving structures 131 may be, for example, but not limited to, block-like structures or pin-like structures. To provide better pressure coordination between the pressed structure 131 and the driving member 14, the driving member 14 may be connected to, for example, but not limited to, a pressing portion (not shown). The pressing portion is located directly below the pressed structure 131, and the pressing portion moves together with the driving member 14. The driving member 14 drives the side wings 13 to deploy by mutual pressure between the pressing portion and the pressed structure 131. Preferably, the pressing portion is included in, for example, but not limited to, the driving member 14. More specifically, when the headrest 12 is in the initial position, the pressed structure 131 is located above the driving member 14. The pressed structure 131 is provided with an inclined surface structure 132, and the driving member 14 faces the inclined surface structure 132. The driving member 14 can easily drive the side wings 13 to rotate and deploy via the inclined surface structure 132. According to actual requirements, the ramp structure 132 can be arranged on the driving member 14, which can also achieve the purpose of easily driving the rotation and deployment of the side wing 13.

[0031] As shown in FIGS. 2 to 6 , limiting devices 17 are provided between the side wings 13 and the backrest 11 to limit the width of folding and unfolding of the side wings 13 relative to the backrest 11. The limiting devices 17 allow the side wings 13 to rotate within a certain range, thereby preventing excessive folding and unfolding of the side wings 13 and ensuring normal use of the side wings 13. To enable the side wings 13 to automatically fold relative to the backrest 11 in a normal state, the seat back assembly 10 further includes elastic members 18 disposed between the side wings 13 and the backrest 11, where the elastic members 18 have a tendency to always urge the side wings 13 to fold relative to the backrest 11. Therefore, the unfolded side wings 13 can be automatically reset by the elastic members 18, facilitating the automatic folding of the side wings 13. Specifically, the limiting device 17 includes a slot structure 171 and a protrusion structure 172 disposed within and slidable within the slot structure 171. The slot structure 171 is disposed in the side wing 13, and the protrusion structure 172 is attached to the backrest 11, thereby making the limiting device 17 simple in structure and convenient to arrange and install. In other embodiments, depending on actual needs, the slot structure 171 can be disposed in the backrest 11 and the protrusion structure 172 can be attached to the side wing 13 to achieve the purpose of limiting the folding and unfolding width of the side wing 13. For example, but not limited to, the protrusion structure 172 is a pin. More specifically, an elastic member 18 is disposed at the rear of the side wing 13, with one end of the elastic member 18 connected to the protrusion structure 172 and the other end of the elastic member 18 connected to the side wing 13. Because the elastic member 18 is disposed at the rear of the side wing 13, it is easy to hide the elastic member 18, resulting in a more compact structure of the seat back assembly 10. To easily attach the elastic member 18 to the side wing 13, a stop block 133 is provided at the rear of the side wing 13. One end of the elastic member 18 is connected to the protrusion structure 172, and the other end of the elastic member 18 is connected to the stop block 133.For example, in this embodiment, the elastic member 18 is a spring such as, but not limited to, a tension spring, a compression spring, or a torsion spring. The extension direction of the slot structure 171 and the movement direction of the drive member 14 are arranged to intersect so as to allow the side wings 13 to rotate smoothly for unfolding or folding when the protrusion structure 172 slides within the slot structure 171.

[0032] The operating principle of the child car seat 100 of the present disclosure will be described in conjunction with FIGS. 1 to 6. To use the child car seat 100, the headrest 12 is raised or pressed downward depending on the child's body size so that the headrest 12 corresponds to the child's head. As shown in FIG. 3, when the headrest 12 is in the low position, i.e., when the headrest 12 is between the initial position and the operating position, the driving member 14 is away from the pressing structure 131 and does not press the pressing structure 131. Because the elastic member 18 is not pressed, the two side wings 13 are folded onto the backrest 11 by the elastic member 18. In this case, the cavity enclosed by the two side wings 13, the backrest 11, and the seat body 20 is relatively small. Therefore, the child car seat 100 of the present disclosure is suitable for children with smaller body sizes. When the headrest 12 is adjusted from the low position to the high position, i.e., when the headrest 12 is lifted in the direction F1 in FIG. 3, the headrest 12 drives the driving member 14 to move upward so that the driving member 14 gradually approaches the pressing structure 131. When the headrest 12 reaches the operating position, the driving member 14 presses the inclined surface structure of the pressing structure 131, and the state of the child car seat 100 in this case is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. When the headrest 12 is continuously lifted in the direction F2 in FIGS. 4 and 5, the driving member 14 begins to press the pressing structure 131 when the headrest 12 passes the operating position, causing the side wings 13 to rotate and unfold relative to the backrest 11. In this case, the cavity enclosed by the two side wings 13, the backrest 11, and the seat body 20 gradually increases in size. Meanwhile, the protrusion structure 172 slides within the slot structure 171, and the protrusion structure 172 presses and compresses the elastic member 18. In this case, the state of the child car seat 100 becomes as shown in Figure 6, and the child car seat 100 is suitable for children with a larger body size to sit on.

[0033] When the child seat 100 is no longer in use, the headrest 12 is adjusted to a low position, which moves the driving member 14 away from the pressure-receiving structure 131 and restores the elastic member 18 to its original state, which then drives the side wings 13 to fold against the backrest 11, thus resetting the child seat 100 of the present disclosure for the next use.

[0034] Compared with the prior art, the seat back assembly 10 of the present disclosure further includes a drive member 14 disposed on the headrest 12 and moving together with the headrest 12 relative to the backrest 11. The headrest 12 has at least an initial position close to the backrest 11 and an operating position for driving the side wings 13 to deploy relative to the backrest 11. The side wings 13 are folded onto the backrest 11 when the headrest 12 is positioned between the initial position and the operating position, and the drive member 14 drives the side wings 13 to deploy relative to the backrest 11 when the headrest 12 moves away from the backrest 11 beyond the operating position. Therefore, when the height of the headrest 12 is adjusted, the headrest 12 can drive the two side wings 13 to deploy via the drive member 14, thereby simultaneously adjusting the width between the two side wings 13 while the headrest 12 is being adjusted, providing ease of use and simple operation for children of different body sizes. On the other hand, since the headrest 12 can be adjusted and the two side wings 13 can be simultaneously driven to deploy by only one driving member 14, the structure of the seat back assembly 10 is significantly simplified.

[0035] It should be noted that the child car seat 100 having the seat back assembly 10 of the present disclosure achieves the same technical effect.
