The nutrition bar includes any combination of the following: macadamia nuts, honey, pecans, almonds, almond butter, coconut, inulin, flaxseed, coconut flour, coconut oil, and cocoa derivatives. The nutrition bar provides 100–300 kcal, of which at least 40 percent kcal comes from fat and 10–30 percent kcal comes from carbohydrates containing less than 10 grams of protein. It should be recognized that the nutrition bar provides 25–38 weight percent of the recommended daily value of fat ("the daily value") (e.g., the nutritional requirements based on a 2000 kcal daily diet as used by the UK Department of Health and the European Food Safety Authority of the European Union as of November 1, 2019) and 1–10 weight percent kcal of the recommended daily value of carbohydrates. In one example of adjustment, the recommended daily intake is 65g of fat and 280g of carbohydrates.
