Abstract
We provide novel, naturally biocompatible, multifunctional biopolymers that can be used in pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, cosmetics, and / or leather industry applications. [Solution] A natural biocompatible multifunctional biopolymer comprising: a) lignin extracted from coconut husk and / or koiapis powder obtained from the fruit of Cocos nucifera, a tropical plant belonging to the family Palmae; b) copolymer; c) crosslinking agent; d) plasticizer; and e) at least one activator.
