Abstract

To improve degree of freedom in construction, to cope with tolerance of a construction position of a catching body, and to release a part of a load of mudflow to a non-overflow portion.SOLUTION: A construction method of a dam (100) includes: a first step of constructing vertical members (62, 72) and horizontal members (61, 71) from the vicinity of the center in a width direction of an opening (2) toward a non-overflow portion (1); a second step of constructing a cradle (4) in a foundation (11) of the non-overflow portion; a third step of connecting ends of the horizontal members to the cradle; a fourth step of placing concrete in the opening and the foundation of the non-overflow portion; a fifth step of connecting new vertical members and new horizontal members to the vertical members constructed in the first step to the third step, connecting a new cradle to the cradle, and connecting ends of the new horizontal members to the new cradle; and sixth step of placing concrete on an upper end of the non-over flow portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
