Abstract
To provide a handheld rotary machining device that is easy for operators to use. In the handheld rotary machining apparatus of the present invention, the control device (27) has a registration unit (35) for pre-registering a second direction (S) in which the workpiece (W2) is machined. The posture determination unit (37) determines whether the first direction (F) based on the detection result of the posture sensor (13) and the second direction (S) are substantially the same. The first signal output unit (39) outputs a first signal when the first direction (F) and the second direction (S) are substantially the same. The second signal output unit (41) outputs a second signal when the operation switch (23) is operated. The drive execution unit (43) rotates the shaft (9a) with the motor (5) based on the input of the first signal and the second signal.
