Abstract

A method for replacing old rails (21) of a railway track (20), wherein during a first phase (A), new long rails (22) are unloaded along the railway track (20) from a set of transport wagons (120) of a construction train (100) traveling in a first running direction (F1), and during a second phase (B), the construction train travels in a second running direction (F2) opposite to the first running direction (F1), and the new long rails (22) are placed on and then fastened to a fixed structure (23) of the railway track (20) during the second phase (B), is disclosed. A method for replacing old rails (21) of a railway track (20) and a construction train designed to perform the method for replacing old rails (21) are also disclosed.

Claims

1. A method for replacing old rails (21) of a railway track (20), characterized in that, during a first stage (A), new long rails (22) are unloaded along the railway track (20) from a transport wagon (120) of a construction train (100) traveling in a first direction of travel (F1); during a second stage (B), the construction train travels in a second direction of travel (F2) opposite to the first direction of travel (F1); and during the second stage (B), the new long rails (22) are positioned by the construction train on a fixed structure (23) of the railway track (20) and then fastened.

2. A method for replacing rails according to claim 1, characterized in that during the first step (A), the new long rail (22) is unloaded from the transport wagon (120) of the construction train (100) along the railway track (20), along the old rail (21) to be replaced, to the outside of the railway track (20), or in the middle of the railway track (20).

3. A method for replacing rails according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that during the first step (A), each of the ends of the unloaded new long rail (22) undergoes a preparation step for the purpose of a permanent connection step.

4. A method for replacing rails according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that during the second step (B), the old rail (21) is dismantled by the construction train (100).

5. The method for replacing rails according to claim 4, characterized in that during the second step (B), the old rails (21) are loaded onto the transport wagon (120) of the construction train (100).

6. A method for replacing a rail according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the second step (B) includes welding the ends of the new long rail (22) at a welding station located upstream of the new long rail (22) placement zone (Z1) on the railway track with respect to the second direction of travel (F2).

7. A method for replacing a rail according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the second step (B) includes a step of neutralizing the new long rail (22) by portion (24), wherein each of the portions (24) of the new long rail (22) is neutralized to the reference state before being placed on the railway track (20).

8. A method for replacing a rail according to claim 7, wherein the work train (100) includes a vehicle mounted on a wheelset (101), and the neutralization step is performed in a zone (Z2) of the work train located upstream of the first bogie of the wheelset (101) of the work train (100) with respect to the new long rail (22) with respect to the second direction of travel (F2).

9. The method for replacing a rail according to claim 8, characterized in that the neutralization step is followed by a step of maintaining and / or correcting the reference state of the neutralized portion (24) of the rail.

10. A method for replacing a rail according to claim 9, characterized in that, in the second step (B), the new long rail (22) is fastened to the fixing structure (23) by a tie in a zone (Z4) of the construction train (100) located downstream from the zone (Z3) of the construction train in which the step of maintaining and / or correcting the reference conditions such as a reference temperature is performed.

11. The second step (B) described above is, - A step of neutralizing at least one of the first ends (221') of the new long rail (221) to a reference state, wherein the end includes the end (221') of the first new long rail (221) to which the end (211') of the old joint rail (211) needs to be connected, A method for replacing a rail according to any one of claims 1 to 10, comprising an initial step of: positioning at least a portion of the first new long rail (221) on the fixing structure (23) at the end (211') of the old joint rail (211); and then temporarily connecting the end (211') of the old joint rail (211) end-to-end with at least one temporary connecting device (30) to the end (221') of the first new long rail (221).

12. The second step (B) described above is, - A step of neutralizing at least one last end (222') of the new long rail (222) to a reference state, wherein the end of the last new long rail (222) (222') needs to be connected to the end (212') of the old joint rail (212), A method for replacing a rail according to any one of claims 1 to 11, comprising the final step of temporarily connecting the end (222') of the last new long rail (222) end-to-end with at least one temporary connecting device (30) to the end (212') of the corresponding old joint rail (212).

13. A construction train (100) designed to carry out a method for replacing old rails (21) as described in any one of claims 1 to 12, comprising at least one transport wagon (120) and at least one construction wagon (130) designed to transport new long rails (22) on a construction zone (Z0), wherein the construction train (100) is designed to unload the new long rails (22) from the transport wagon (120) along the railway track as it moves in a first direction of travel (F1), and the construction train (100) is designed to carry out the first direction of travel A construction train (100) is provided with a construction station (108) for fastening the new long rail (22) to the fixed structure (23) of the railway track (20), located in a zone (Z4) downstream of the placement zone (Z1) of the new long rail (22) to the fixed structure (23) of the railway track (20) with respect to a second travel direction (F2) opposite to the direction of travel (F1), thereby enabling the construction train (100) to place and fasten the new long rail (22) to the fixed structure (23) of the railway track (20) when the construction train (100) is traveling in the second travel direction (F2).
