When switching from a damping-control performed state, in which the motor damping control is performed by putting a lock-up clutch (134) into an engaged state, to a damping-control unperformed state, in which the motor damping control is unperformed by putting the lock-up clutch (134) into a slipping state, a command to transition from the engaged state to the slipping state is given to the lock-up clutch (134), the motor damping control continues until the transition to the slipping state is completed, and the motor damping control ends when it is determined that the transition to the slipping state has been completed.
