Abstract

To provide a polymer containing [c2]daisy-chain rotaxane with superior compression resistance, a compound therefor where a novel cyclic molecule has been fused with an axial molecule, and [c2]daisy-chain rotaxane.SOLUTION: By utilizing a thiol-ene reaction between [c2]daisy-chain rotaxane containing a compound where a cyclic molecule with a double bond introduced at the end of an axial molecule has been fused with the axial molecule, and a crosslinker containing a thiol group at the end, a polymer containing the [c2]daisy-chain rotaxane is synthesized, thereby forming a gel-like solid of a network polymer with compression resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

Claims

1. A compound in which a cyclic molecule and an axial molecule, represented by the chemical formula (1) below, are integrated. 【Chemistry 1】

2. A swapped rotaxane represented by the following chemical formula (2), comprising the compound described in claim 1.

3. A polymer comprising the reversed rotaxane described in claim 2.

4. The polymer according to claim 3, wherein the polymer is a linear polymer.

5. The polymer according to claim 3, wherein the polymer is a network polymer.

6. A method for producing a polymer containing an interlocked rotaxane, characterized by reacting an interlocked rotaxane containing a compound in which a cyclic molecule and an axial molecule are integrated as described in claim 1 with a crosslinking agent having a thiol group at its terminus.
