Abstract

The technical solution relates to means for conducting rapid analysis of biological samples using thin-layer chromatography for use in medicine, veterinary medicine and for food quality control. The technical solution is a test device for analyzing a material sample for the presence of an analyte / s, which comprises a housing (3) made in the form of a tube made of a transparent material, a tip (4) which is attached to the first end (8) of the housing (3), a material sample receiving unit (5) which is attached to the second (9) end of the housing (3); a nozzle for collecting a material sample (11) is placed on a rod (10); the test device (1) contains at least one test strip (6) and a holder (7) designed to hold the test strip (6) and located inside the housing (3), wherein the holder (7) is made having a cylindrical shape, or a prism shape, or containing a central longitudinal element (26), three or more longitudinal protrusions (28), and at least one radial annular element (29). The use of a test device (1) allows for the rapid and simple determination of several analytes in a single sample of material; prevention of irritation or injury to the mucous membrane during sample collection; elimination of the risk of displacement, accidental opening, and spillage of the buffer liquid during transportation.
