Abstract
Modern hybrid energy systems require efficient power distribution between energy sources and loads. A key component of such systems is the battery, whose service life is directly dependent on the depth of discharge. The proposed optimization algorithm takes into account the current battery state of charge (SoC) and limits its discharge to a specified value (DoD_max). The algorithm first collects battery status data and then calculates the available energy to power the load. If the load exceeds the available energy, the system automatically connects alternative sources or reduces energy consumption. Optimizing power distribution minimizes battery discharge and increases the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar panels and wind turbines. This approach ensures system reliability, extends battery life and improves energy efficiency.
