Abstract

The present invention relates to a rotor and a blower that uses it.The impeller comprises a front impeller disc, a rear impeller disc, and a plurality of main vanes mounted and connected between the front impeller disc and the rear impeller disc, wherein an air inlet is provided in the center of the front impeller disc; an air duct is formed between each pair of adjacent main vanes; a connecting seat is provided for connection to a rotating shaft of a motor in the center of the rear impeller disc; a plurality of auxiliary vanes project inward from an edge of the rear impeller disc and are evenly distributed around an axial direction; and the auxiliary vanes and main vanes are distributed respectively on two sides of the rear impeller disc, wherein a plurality of curved vanes project from the rear impeller disc and extend between the connecting seat and the auxiliary vanes.Curved blades can increase the airflow speed within the volute, reduce airflow vortices within the volute, and effectively increase static pressure within the volute.
