Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for indicating the safety area of ​​a human-powered land vehicle, which comprises: a frame attached to the vehicle's chassis, which supports the other elements; a rotating shaft on which a drive disc and a crown gear are arranged, which transmits the rotational movement of the drive disc to the crown gear; a drive disc that is in direct contact with a wheel of the vehicle; a crown gear that interconnects with and rotates a first transmission shaft; a first transmission shaft driven by the crown gear, which transmits its rotational movement to a second transmission shaft; a second transmission shaft driven by the first transmission shaft, which transmits its rotational movement to an oscillation mechanism;an oscillating mechanism in which at least one luminous body is arranged, which transforms the rotational movement of the second transmission shaft into an oscillating movement; at least one luminous body that projects a beam of light onto the ground, which oscillates according to the movement of the oscillating mechanism, visually indicating the presence of the vehicle and luminously delimiting the safety area around it; and a portable electrical power source that powers the luminous body.
