Flue gas desulfurization wastewater treatment system and method

Abstract

A novel flue gas desulfurization (FGD) wastewater treatment system and the method thereof are provided. The system is mainly constructed by the chemical coagulation system, the membrane system, and the thermal system. The chemical coagulation system works for coagulation and deep layer filtration, the membrane system works for water softening and filtering, and the thermal system works for concentration and crystallization treatment. The provided system reduces the water consumption for FGD flue gas treatment, the dosage of FGD wastewater treatment, and the amount of sludge generated. The provided system also increases the byproducts generated in FGD wastewater treatment. Furthermore, the provided system improves the quality of the treated water for recovery, enabling compliance with environmental protection regulations and achieving the goal of zero discharge.
