Abstract
This invention introduces turmeric and ginger-flavored banana chips, using Saba bananas (Musa Acuminata x Balbasiana) as the main ingredient. The process ensures quality through precise temperature control and syrup consistency. The key ingredients are 2 kg of thinly sliced matured Saba bananas, 2 cups of water, 1 cup of white sugar, 3 grams of turmeric, 3 grams of ginger powder, and 1 liter of frying oil. The production steps involve selecting, washing, peeling, slicing, soaking, draining, frying, and setting aside the bananas for flavor infusion. A syrup is prepared by simmering water and sugar, and then incorporating turmeric and ginger. The fried banana chips are brushed with the syrup, baked, cooled, and packaged. The result is crispy, flavorful banana chips enhanced with the health benefits of turmeric and ginger, offering a unique and nutritious snack option.
