Abstract

The process of light alkane dehydrogenation to propylene, using a Pt-Sn-based catalyst composition supported on SAPO-34, which is suitable for Aluminum palletized SAPO-34, with one or more active promoters from family of novel, alkali and alkaline earth metals. The SAPO-34 binding with 20 wt. % Aluminum oxide and / or additional promoter contribution is about 1 wt % is preferred. The embodiments of the invention provide unique process for the production of propylene form propane dehydrogenation using fluidized bed reactor technology. Integrated concept of co-fluidization was applied for steady heat supply into the fluidized bed reactor. Both principal catalyst (Pt-Sn / AI-SAPO-34) and heat carrier catalyst (SAPO-34) were fluidized together. Separate regeneration systems are provided for both catalysts. The products were removed from the cyclone in the reactor.
