Abstract

The invention relates to a novel compound of the general formula (IA) as defined in the application and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound for use as a medicament, in particular for use as a ferroportin inhibitor, more particularly for use in the prophylaxis or treatment of diseases caused by a lack of hepcidin or iron metabolism disorders leading to increased iron levels or increased iron absorption or iron overload.
