Linear module

Abstract

The linear module is characterized in that it consists of: two parallel cylindrical linear guides (4), mounted blindly in the main connector (1) on one side and in the auxiliary connector (6) on the other side; two bilateral parallel mounting screws (5), mounted in the main connector (1) on one side and in the auxiliary connector (6) on the other side, wherein the main connector (1) comprises a hole for mounting the module on a structural element or mounting rail; a carriage (7), mounted via linear bearings (3) on linear guides (4), in which there is a through hole (8) in the central part. The movement of the carriage (7) on the linear guides (4) is forced by the housing displacement mechanism, and its position is determined by means of a displacement sensor (2) located on the main connector (1).The housing movement mechanism consists of: a stepper motor (12) with a gear wheel (14), mounted in the main connector (1); two pulleys (11) located on the auxiliary connector (6); and one pulley (11) located on the main connector (1). The pulleys (11) and the gear wheel (14) are connected to each other by a toothed belt (9), which is also attached to the carriage (7) by a toothed belt lock (10). Additionally, limit switches (13) are mounted on the side parts of the carriage (7).
