Abstract

This invention relates to a bactericidal or fungicidal material for thermal insulation comprising wool or fibers, the material characterized by comprising silica nano / microparticles at a concentration between 0.05 and 0.2 g / cm3, preferably between 0.0638 and 0.1117 g / cm3, or titanium nano / microparticles at a concentration between 0.03 and 0.07 g / cm3, preferably 0.057 g / cm3, or silica and titanium nano / microparticles. This invention also refers to a process for obtaining said material and its use in architecture or civil construction, in particular in optimizing the energy efficiency of buildings and also in technical textiles.
