Automated sewing machine for overedging different symmetrically shaped

Abstract

Automated sewing machine for overedging different symmetrically shaped articles falls into category of textile processing devices and refers to an automated overlock sewing machine used for production of reusable diapers, nursing pads, mouse pads, automotive floor mats, different types of covers, for sewing and overedging emblems etc. The machine provides easy loading of jigs, adapting to different shapes, precise overedging control, constant dimensions of stitches and quality control. The machine (1) consisting of a stand (2) with work plate (15) and support plate (17), sewing head (3) with built-in servo motor (4), x-axis assembly (5), y-axis assembly (6), z-axis assembly (7), x-axis linear guide (19), y-axis linear guide (20) and z-axis linear guide (36), movably connected to three-axis manipulator (8). The machine (1) also consists of a subassemblies of changer (51) and a pneumatic loading device (52). Elements are interconnected so that in accordance with control signals with prepared and predefined functions – x, y, z enable an automated process of overedging different shapes in textile production.
