Description

[0001] The invention relates to pipeline transport and can be used to introduce a homogeneous and structurally stable anti-turbulent additive into an oil pipeline or oil product pipeline.

[0002] The closest technical solution to the claimed solution is a flow tank in a unit for introducing an anti-turbulence additive into an oil or petroleum product pipeline with a mixing device. The tank is vertically designed and consists of a cylindrical shell with a conical bottom and a cover, in which "breathing" valves are implemented, a level gauge is located, and an electric motor with a shaft on which blades are mounted. The blades on the shaft are designed with an angle of attack of at least 45°. The inlet of the flow tank is an inlet pipe located in the cover, and the outlet is an outlet pipe located in the conical bottom (see Russian patent IZ No. 2791796 under class IPC F17D 3 / 12, F17D 1 / 17, 2022).

[0003] The proposed solution allows for the effective mixing of a drag reducing agent by a mixing device in a feed tank to a homogeneous fluid state with uniform polymer distribution throughout the tank. However, it has one significant drawback. Due to the large angles of attack of the blades, excessive force is exerted on the drag reducing agent by the blades. This leads to air entrapment from the surface, foaming, and crystallization of the polymer additive on the heated walls of the tank.

[0004] The problem solved in the development of the claimed invention, without reducing the efficiency of mixing the anti-turbulent additive, is to eliminate the effect of its foaming and its polymerization and the deposition of the polymer on the inner walls of the container.

[0005] This problem is solved by proposing a vertical tank for receiving and storing a drag reducing additive. It is a cylindrical shell with a conical bottom and lid, and features a mixing device consisting of a shaft with an electric motor. Blades are mounted on the shaft. The tank's inlet is an inlet pipe located in the lid, and its outlet is an outlet pipe located in the conical bottom. The mixing device is a vertical shaft with horizontally mounted blades with an attack angle of 0°, each with a conical impeller at its end.

[0006] In addition, the radial part of the blades is made in the form of a rod.

[0007] The technical result of solving the stated problem is achieved through a combination of essential features. When conical impeller blades mounted at the ends move through the liquid, a pressure difference arises between the impeller inlet and outlet due to their conical shape, creating an ejection effect. Localized mixing of the liquid occurs without intense particle acceleration, thereby solving the problem of effective mixing without foaming or polymerization of the additive on the inner walls of the container. Designing the horizontally mounted blades with a 0° angle of attack prevents active mixing and foaming around them. Designing the radial portion of the blades as a rod allows for a similar effect without foaming of the anti-turbulence additive as with flat blades with a 0° angle of attack, but increases the structural strength while requiring less metal.

[0008] The invention is illustrated by drawings.

[0009] Fig. 1 shows the container, Fig. 2 shows the mixing device, Fig. 3 shows a top view of the mixing device.

[0010] The tank 1 for receiving and storing the anti-turbulent additive is made in a vertical design in the form of a cylindrical shell 2 with a conical bottom 3, a cover 4 and with an installed mixing device 5. The mixing device 5 consists of a vertical shaft 6 with an electric motor 7, and blades 8 with an attack angle of 0° are horizontally mounted on the shaft 6. Conical impellers 9 are installed at the ends of the blades 8. The radial part of the blades 8 is made in the form of a rod. The inlet of tank 1 is the inlet pipe 10, located in the cover 4, and the outlet is the outlet pipe 11, located in the conical bottom 3. The conical bottom 3 is equipped with a drain pipe 12. On the cover 4 there is a hatch 13, used for servicing the interior of tank 1. For technical maintenance, a ladder 14 is mounted on the outside of tank 1.

[0011] The device operates as follows.

[0012] A polymer-based drag reducing agent is pumped into tank 1 through the dosing unit via inlet pipe 10. The drag reducing agent exits tank 1 via outlet pipe 11. Conical bottom 3 and drain pipe 12 ensure complete removal of the drag reducing agent from tank 1. It is recommended that drain pipe 12 be installed with a slope of 3-5°. To maintain a positive temperature on the inner wall of tank 1 and prevent heat loss to the environment, the tank is additionally equipped with heating elements and has thermal insulation. Electric motor 7 rotates shaft 6 with blades 8 and conical impellers 9. This mixes the drag reducing agent to create a homogeneous mass with a uniformly distributed polymer throughout the liquid.Due to the ejection effect created by impellers 9, the polymer is crushed into smaller fractions, which prevents the stratification of the anti-turbulent additive and, consequently, prevents the settling of polymer particles on the inner walls of container 1.

[0013] Using this invention, without reducing the mixing efficiency of the drag reducing agent, allows for the production of a homogeneous, finely dispersed suspension without foaming or polymerization on the inner walls of the tank. This solution can be used both in the production of new tanks and in the reconstruction of existing ones in oil and gas industry facilities for injection of drag reducing agent into pipelines.
