Abstract

The invention relates to educational disc brake test benches primarily designed to brake the brake disc and monitor parameters such as temperature, vibration, and noise. These benches primarily utilize a hydraulic circuit for brake control. This horizontally oriented bench brakes the disc using brake pads under the effect of hydraulic pressure exerted by the brake lever. The said device consists of a control part (CP) and an operating part (OP), where the operating part consists of: an electric motor, a shaft, two bearings, a coupling, a flange, a brake disc, a table, a brake lever, a hydraulic hose, an oil reservoir, pads and a pad holder. The innovative aspect of this bench lies in its control system: It uses temperature, vibration, and sound sensors to monitor and control its operating status (trend curve), as well as to track the condition of the pads and disc (wear, lifespan). The collected data is displayed in real time.
