Abstract

An electronic device is provided, which includes a processor, a cholesteric liquid-crystal display panel, and a driving circuit. The processor is configured to receive an image signal and generate a first determination result based on an image feature of the image signal. The driving circuit is configured to drive the cholesteric liquid-crystal display panel using a first driving scheme or a second driving scheme to display the image signal in response to the first determination result.
