[0001] This application is a 371 U.S. National Phase of International Application No. PCT / JP2024 / 032527, filed on Sep. 11, 2024, which claims priority to Japanese Patent Application No. 2024-072231, filed Apr. 26, 2024. The entire disclosures of the above applications are incorporated herein by reference.BACKGROUNDTechnical Field
[0002] The present invention relates to a one-piece dress suitable for men to wear.Related Art
[0003] Conventionally, one-piece dresses have not been manufactured for men to wear. Therefore, if a man wanted to wear a one-piece, there were no women's dresses that fit his body. Particularly, there were no one-piece dresses suitable for men who were not into cross-dressing. Moreover, to urinate in a toilet, men had to use a private toilet room or to use a urinal while widely rolling up the hem.
[0004] As described above, there has been no one-piece dress that fits the body when worn by man and has functions necessary for daily life including excretion.
[0005] The present invention provides a one-piece dress for men having a size determined for the physique of an assumed user, in which there is no bulge for breasts, a chest circumference length is 100% to 120% relative to a user's assumed chest circumference, a waist circumference is narrower than a chest circumference, and a fastener for a man as a user to urinate while standing is provided. Because there is no bulge at the bust part unlike the one-piece dress for women, it fits the body when worn by men, thus preventing contact of the one-piece dress with a urinal when urinating in a toilet. Moreover, with the fastener provided, a man who wears the one-piece dress according to the present invention is able to easily urinate at a urinal in a men's toilet.SUMMARY
[0006] In order to solve the above-described problem of the one-piece dress for men, the present application provides, as a first invention, a one-piece dress for men having a size determined for the physique of an assumed user,
[0007] in which there is no bulge for breasts, a chest circumference length is 100% to 120% relative to a user's assumed chest circumference,
[0008] a waist circumference is narrower than a chest circumference, and
[0009] a fastener for men to urinate while standing is provided.
[0010] As a second invention, he one-piece dress for men on the basis of the first invention is provided, in which
[0011] a hip circumference is larger than the waist circumference.
[0012] As a third invention, the one-piece dress for men on the basis of the first or second invention is provided, in which
[0013] a dress length (a length from a base of a neck (a back neck point) to a hem of the back of a garment; the same applies hereinafter) is 60% to 100% relative to a user's assumed height.
[0014] As a fourth invention, the one-piece dress for men on the basis of any one of the first to third invention is provided, in which
[0015] the fastener is provided to be openable and closable to the lower end of the hem.Advantageous Effects of Invention
[0016] The one-piece dress for men according to the present invention having the above-described configuration provides a one-piece dress for men having a size determined for the physique of an assumed user, in which there is no bulge for breasts, a chest circumference length is 100% to 120% relative to a user's assumed chest circumference, a waist circumference is narrower than a chest circumference, and a fastener for a man as a user to urinate while standing is provided. Because there is no bulge at the bust part, unlike the one-piece dress for women, it fits the body when worn by men, thus preventing the front hem from hanging down. Moreover, with the fastener provided, a man who wears the one-piece dress according to the present invention is able to easily urinate at a urinal in a men's toilet.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0023] The one-piece dress for men according to the first embodiment of the present invention is configured such that there is no bulge in a chest part, a chest circumference length is 100% to 120% relative to a user's assumed chest circumference, a waist circumference is narrower than a chest circumference, and a fastener for men to urinate while standing is provided.First Embodiment Description of Configuration
[0024] The one-piece dress for men according to the present invention has a size determined for the physique of an assumed user. It is a one-piece dress having an optimal size for a man as an assumed user to wear. The sizes of parts include those of a chest part (including a chest circumference length), a waist circumference, a hip circumference, a dress length, and the like. The following will describe a one-piece dress for men according to the first embodiment with reference to FIG. 1. FIG. 1 is a front view of a one-piece dress for men according to the present invention. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the one-piece dress for men according to the first embodiment is configured to include a chest part (0101), a waist (0102), a hip (0103), a fastener (0104), and a hem (0105).First Embodiment Chest Part (0101)
[0025] The one-piece dress for men according to the present invention is configured such that there is no bulge for breasts, and a chest circumference length is 100% to 120% relative to a user's assumed chest circumference (see FIG. 1).First Embodiment Chest Part: Presence / Absence of Bulge
[0026] The “there is no bulge in a chest part” indicates that whereas women's clothes have a bulge in its chest part to accommodate the volume of a bust portion on the chest front side, which is characteristic to women, the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention does not have such a bulge in the chest part. Because the fabric of the one-piece dress does not have a bulge in the bust portion, when a man wears the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the fabric in the chest part from sagging and ruining the silhouette when worn, or the excess fabric in the chest part from hanging down, causing the front hem of the one-piece dress to droop.First Embodiment Chest Part: Chest Circumference
[0027] Especially when a man urinates at a urinal in a toilet, he is encouraged to urinate close to the urinal. FIG. 3 illustrates the positional relation of feet and a urinal when urinating at the urinal. The gray part in FIG. 3 illustrates a schematic range where droplets will scatter when urinating. A horizontally long ellipse illustrated by a solid line in FIG. 3 represents a chest circumference of the body of a user wearing the one-piece dress, and a horizontally long ellipse illustrated by a dotted line represents the position of fabric in the chest part of the one-piece dress according to the present invention having a chest circumference length of 120% relative to a user's chest circumference. If a man comes close to a urinal in a state where he wears a one-piece dress that has a chest circumference length of more than 120% and does not fit the body, there occur inconveniences such as the chest part of the one-piece dress contacting a part of the urinal or droplets splashing from the urinal onto the clothes. This is a phenomenon not occurred in a case of a woman wearing a one-piece dress, and is a problem only in a one-piece dress for men.
[0028] To prevent the above-described problems, the size of a chest circumference of the one-piece dress for men is preferably in a range of 100% (same size as the assumed chest circumference of a user) to 120% relative to the assumed chest circumference of a user. This allows fitting to the assumed physique of a user, and prevents unexpected hang-down of the hem because of the absence of an abundant gap such as a bulge in the chest part that is characteristic to women's clothes.
[0029] FIG. 4 illustrates a list of examples of sizes of a chest circumference and a waist circumference of the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention, relative to the assumed height, chest girth, and waist circumference of the body of a user. The assumed sizes of the body of a user in FIG. 4 conform to the sizes for men in JASPO (Association of Japan Sporting Goods Industries) standard. In the one-piece dress sizes illustrated in FIG. 4, the chest circumference is in a range of 100 to 120% of the assumed chest girth of a user, and the waist circumference described later is in a range of 75% to 90% relative to the chest circumference of the one-piece dress.
[0030] The sizes of the one-piece dresses illustrated in FIG. 4 are as follows: SS size has a chest circumference of 87 to 97 cm and a waist circumference of 73 to 78 cm for a body size of 157 to 163 cm in height, 81 to 87 cm in chest girth, and 67 to 73 cm in waist; S size has a chest circumference of 91 to 102 cm and a waist circumference of 77 to 81 cm for a body size of 162 to 168 cm in height, 85 to 91 cm in chest girth, and 71 to 77 cm in waist; M size has a chest circumference of 95 to 106 cm and a waist circumference of 80 to 85 cm for a body size of 167 to 173 cm in height, 89 to 95 cm in chest girth, and 75 to 81 cm in waist; L size has a chest circumference of 99 to 111 cm and a waist circumference of 84 to 89 cm for a body size of 172 to 178 cm in height, 93 to 99 cm in chest girth, and 79 to 85 cm in waist; and O size has a chest circumference of 103 to 116 cm and a waist circumference of 87 to 92 cm for a body size of 177 to 183 cm in height, 97 to 103 cm in chest girth, and 83 to 89 cm in waist.
[0031] The upper body part (from a collar portion to the vicinity of a waist) of the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention is not preferably open in front. This is because if the upper body front part is open in a case of a high temperature or the like, the fabric of the garment easily contacts a urinal when urinating.First Embodiment Waist (0102): Waist Circumference
[0032] In the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention, the waist circumference is configured to be narrower than a chest circumference (see FIG. 1).
[0033] The waist circumference of the one-piece dress for men is preferably in a range of 75% to 90% relative to the chest circumference of the one-piece dress for men. The range smaller than 75% is excluded because the waist circumference size of the one-piece dress illustrated in FIG. 4 overlaps the waist size range of a user's body, which results in not fitting the body shape of Japanese. The upper limit is set to 90% because if the dimension exceeds 90%, the fabric of the garment comes into contact with a urinal as is the chest circumference, and receives a lot of droplets splashing when urinating.First Embodiment Hip (0103): Hip Circumference
[0034] In the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention, the hip circumference is configured to be larger than the waist circumference (see FIG. 1).
[0035] The hip circumference is made larger than the waist circumference so that the pelvis upper portion at the hip part or below the waist part supports the fabric in the waist part of the one-piece dress and holds the skirt part of the one-piece dress. If the skirt part of the one-piece dress is held above the hip part, even if there is excess fabric in the upper body part compared to the assumed size of a user, it is possible to hold the one-piece dress without affecting the skirt part. This effect is exerted because the hip part is formed to be larger than the waist part.First Embodiment Dress Length
[0036] The one-piece dress for men according to the present invention is configured such that a dress length (a length from a base of a neck (a back neck point) to a hem of the back of a garment; the same applies hereinafter) is 60% to 100% of a user's assumed height.
[0037] The “dress length” indicates a length from a back neck point to a hem of the back of the garment.
[0038] As a guideline for the dimension of each part of the human body, the distance from the shoulder to the floor is 0.8 times of the height, and the distance from the knee to the floor is about 0.25 times of the height. Based on this, he phrase “60% to 100% of a user's assumed height” indicates a state as illustrated in FIG. 2 in which when an assumed user wears the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention, the hem reaches to a position from around the knee or just below the knee (60%, left half of FIG. 2) to on a floor to be partially dragged thereon (100%, right half of FIG. 2). Note that FIG. 2 is a front view of the one-piece dress for men according to the first embodiment, similarly to FIG. 1, and the left side in FIG. 2 illustrates a case in which the dress length is 60% of an assumed user's elongation, while the right side in FIG. 2 illustrates a case in which the dress length is 100% of an assumed user's elongation.
[0039] For example, the one-piece dress may have a design in which the front body hem has a length of 60% (to around knees) or to around ankles and the back body hem has a length of 100% to be dragged. Alternatively, the one-piece dress may have a design in which the hem is not dragged but is lower backward when viewed from the side, such as with the front body hem reaching just below the knee and the back body hem reaching around the ankle.
[0040] On the contrary, the front body hem may be designed to be longer, or the entire hem may have the same length. The entire hem may be designed to be in contact with a floor.First Embodiment Fastener (0105)
[0041] The one-piece dress for men according to the present invention is configured to have a fastener for men to urinate while standing.
[0042] The “fastener” indicates a mechanism for opening and closing clothes such as trousers and jackets. Different kinds of closures, such as a button, a zipper, and a snap button, are categorized as the fastener. Especially in the present specification, the mechanism for opening and closing an opening portion provided for men to urinate while standing is referred to as a fastener. A zip fly with double-layered fabric (instead of the zip fly using a fastener, a fly using a button, a snap button, a hook-and-loop fastener, a hook, or the like may also be used; the same applies hereinafter) may be provided so that the fastener at the opening portion provided or men to urinate while standing, is invisible from the outside. It is an opening portion provided in the vicinity of the front crotch part, as illustrated in FIG. 1, for a man wearing the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention to urinate at a urinal in a toilet. The opening and closing mechanism consisting of a fastener or the like at the opening portion may be configured to be visible from the outside. However, if it is provided only in the vicinity of the front crotch part unlike the second embodiment described later, a configuration with double-layered fabric may be used so that a fastener at the opening portion is invisible from the outside, similarly to a zip fly for trousers for men. Furthermore, it is preferable to configure the opening and closing portion so as to hide a fact from the outside that it is present only at the crotch part. For example, a seam of the double-layered fabric may be provided as a dummy all the way to the hem of the skirt part. Note that in the drawings of the present specification, the zip fly portion is illustrated simply with a bold line, but it is expressed to include both a case in which the the fabric is doubled so that the opening and closing portion is invisible from the outside, as described above, and a case in which the opening and closing portion is visible from the outside.
[0043] The zip fly hiding a fastener may have a structure in which the double-layered fabric hiding the opening portion is on the left side of the opening portion (left side viewed from a user wearing the one-piece dress) so that the fastener is easily opened with a right hand, similarly to trousers for men, or may have a structure in which the front and back faces of the fabric are reversed. The latter structure (the double-layered fabric hiding the opening portion is on the right side of the opening portion) is more preferable because it conforms to the construction of the fabric in the opening portion for general women's clothes.
[0044] The “fastener” is referred to, but the opening and closing mechanism is not limited to one using a fastener, and includes structures for opening and closing using button fastening, snap button fastening, hook-and-loop fastener fastening, hook fastening, and the like. In a case where the fastener is used, the fastener may be configured to open by sliding it from the upper side to the lower side, or on the contrary by sliding it from the lower side.Effects of First Embodiment
[0045] Because the one-piece dress for men of the present embodiment does not have a bulge in the bust part, unlike the one-piece dress for women, it fits the body of when worn by men, thus preventing contact of the one-piece dress with a urinal when urinating in a toilet. Moreover, with a fastener for men to urinate while standing provided, a man who wears the one-piece dress according to the present invention is able to easily urine at a urinal in a men's toilet.Second Embodiment Overview
[0046] The one-piece dress for men according to the second embodiment of the present invention, which is on the basis of the first embodiment, is configured to be openable and closable to the lower end of the hem.Second Embodiment Description of Configuration
[0047] The second embodiment will be described using FIG. 5 and FIG. 6. FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 are front views of a first example and a second example of the one-piece dress for men according to the second embodiment.Second Embodiment Fastener
[0048] The fastener (0505) of the second embodiment (not only a fastener but also a button, a snap button, a hook-and-loop fastener, a hook, or the like may be used) is configured to be openable and closable to the lower end of the hem.
[0049] The fastener of the second embodiment described in the following may be configured to be invisible directly from the outside by doubling the fabric over the fastener, similarly to the zip fly described in the first embodiment.
[0050] The “openable and closable to the lower end of the hem” may include a configuration in which a fastener is provided to the lower end of the hem (see FIG. 5), a configuration in which a slit is provided on the front center part from the lower end of a fastener provided in the front crotch part to the lower end (see FIG. 6), or the like. In the former case, it is preferable to use the form of opening the fastener by sliding it from the lower side to the upper side. In a case of a fastener that opens from the upper side, the fastener is configured to separate to the left and right when opening to the lower end of the hem so that the lower end of the hem is separated to the left and the right.
[0051] In a case of the latter structure (FIG. 6), a longer fastener than the fastener length of the first embodiment may be used. Examples include a configuration in which a fastener is provided up to just above the knee and a slit is formed from below the knee to the hem. Also in this case, the fastener may be configured to be openable from either the upper side or the lower side. It is preferable to have a configuration in which the fastener is provided up to just above the knee, which can be easily reached when standing, or up to just below the knee, which can be reached by leaning forward slightly, and the slit is formed from below the fastener to the lower end of the hem.
[0052] This is because the fastener can be easily opened and closed and the slit facilitates walking in a case of a long skirt having a skirt part length reaching the vicinity of the ankle.
[0053] The fastener of the second embodiment may have a configuration without the double-layered structure so that the opening and closing portion is invisible from the outside. This is because if the fastener is provided not only in the front crotch part but also around the knee or to the lower end of the hem, for example, one can recognize it not as a portion used for urination but as design.
[0054] The following will describe a reason why the fastener openable and closable to the lower end of the hem is provided along the front skirt part as described above. The urinal installed in the men's toilet is arranged such that the lower part of a toilet bowl receiving urine projects to a person urinating to be positioned between the feet of the person (see FIG. 3) so as to prevent the spill of the discharged urine. When a man wearing the one-piece dress for men according to the present invention faces a urinal, the front hem hangs on the above-described projecting portion of the toilet bowl if the front hem is long. In another case, if the fastener is provided only in the front crotch part and there is no slit to the hem, discharged urine may splash onto the front skirt part. In another case, droplets splashing during urination may attach onto the skirt part (example of droplet-splashing part: grey section of FIG. 3). This is because the hem tends to be expanded more than the hip part due to the hip part configured to be larger than the waist part. Moreover, men have less volume of hip (back of the hip) than women, and thus if the skirt part is considered to have a substantially conical shape, the bulge of hip in the case of women draws the skirt part, so that the conical skirt shifts backward and inclined. On the other hand, in the case of men, the conical skirt expands almost symmetrically in the front and back directions, and thus the front hem easily expands more forward as compared with the case of women.
[0055] In order to solve these problems, the fastener (a slit may be included partially) openable and closable to the lower end of the front center hem is provided, which prevents, during urination, contact of the hem with the urinal and keeps the fabric of the skirt away from the vicinity of the trajectory of discharged urine and from the splashes of droplets. Conventionally, when a man wears a skirt (or a one-piece dress) not having a fastener, the hem has needed to be rolled up to expose legs up to the crotch part for urination, or the use of a single toilet room has been necessary for urination. However, the configuration of the second embodiment allows urination in a comfortable manner.Effect
[0056] The one-piece dress for men according to the present invention having the above-described configuration provides a one-piece dress for men having a size determined for the physique of an assumed user, in which there is no bulge for breasts, a chest circumference length is 100% to 120% relative to a user's assumed chest circumference, a waist circumference is narrower than a chest circumference, and a fastener for a man as a user to urinate while standing is provided. Because the one-piece dress for men does not have a bulge in the bust part, unlike the one-piece dress for women, it fits the body of when worn by men, thus preventing contact of the one-piece dress with a urinal when urinating in a toilet. Moreover, with the zip fly provided, a man who wears the one-piece dress according to the present invention is able to easily urinate at a urinal in a men's toilet.
