Generally, infants and children are often soothed by calming music and / or motion. However, entering a child's room to activate the music and / or motion is not always possible and / or convenient to a caregiver.

More particularly, there is a demand for a motion and sound activated baby mobile device that features a linked app that can alert caregivers when the mobile is activated.
[0006] Therefore, there exists a long felt need in the art for a motion and sound activated baby mobile device that provides users with a self-activated baby mobile that is active when the baby moves or starts crying. There is also a long felt need in the art for a motion and sound activated baby mobile device that includes a clamping system to mount it to a crib. Further, there is a long felt need in the art for a motion and sound activated baby mobile device that includes a microphone, speaker, camera, and motion detector for automatically detecting the baby's movement. Moreover, there is a long felt need in the art for a device that engages a mobile app to allow a user to visually check on the baby via the mobile app. Further, there is a long felt need in the art for a motion and sound activated baby mobile device that allows a user to change the light settings, songs and volume via the mobile app. Finally, there is a long felt need in the art for a motion and sound activated baby mobile device that includes a ceiling projector and other soothing visuals.

1. A motion and sound activated baby mobile device that provides a user with a baby mobile that can be automatically activated when the baby cries or moves, the motion and sound activated baby mobile device comprising:a mobile component; anda mounting bracket;wherein the mounting bracket secures the mobile component to a crib; andfurther wherein the mobile component is automatically activated when a baby in the crib cries or moves, such that the mobile component plays music, lights up, and moves.
2. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 1, wherein the mobile component is sized and shaped as a conventional baby mobile with a center hub and a plurality of extending arms which each dangle a mobile charm at its end.
3. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 2, wherein there are five extending arms, each with a mobile charm for a total of five mobile charms which all rotate around the center hub.
4. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 3, wherein the mobile component comprises lights for illuminating the mobile charms, the center hub, and the extending arms.
5. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 4, wherein the mobile component comprises speakers for emitting a variety of songs.
6. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 5, wherein the mobile component comprises a built-in microphone, camera and motion detector to detect motion and crying of the baby from afar.

11. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 10 wherein once paired, a user could control the motion and sound activated baby mobile device via the mobile application.
12. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 11, wherein the mobile component includes a ceiling projector for projecting soothing visuals on a ceiling.
13. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 12, wherein a user can access the motion and sound activated baby mobile device controls via the mobile application or via manual controls.
14. A motion and sound activated baby mobile device that provides a user with a baby mobile that can be automatically activated when the baby cries or moves, the motion and sound activated baby mobile device comprising:a mobile component sized and shaped as a conventional baby mobile with a center hub and a plurality of extending arms which each dangle a mobile charm at its end; anda mounting bracket;wherein the mounting bracket secures the mobile component to a crib;wherein the mobile charms all rotate around the center hub;wherein the mobile component comprises lights for illuminating the mobile charms, the center hub, and the extending arms;wherein the mobile component comprises speakers for emitting a variety of songs;wherein the mobile component comprises a built-in microphone, camera and motion detector to detect motion and crying of the baby from afar;wherein the mobile component also comprises a motor, a processor and any needed circuitry and wiring for the mobile component to function and the extending arms and mobile charms to rotate;wherein the mobile component includes a ceiling projector for projecting soothing visuals on a ceiling;wherein the motion and sound activated baby mobile device pairs with a mobile application on a smart phone to control the motion and sound activated baby mobile device via the mobile application; andfurther wherein the mobile component is automatically activated when a baby in the crib cries or moves, such that the mobile component plays music, lights up, and moves.
15. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 14 further comprising plug-in or battery power for powering the motion and sound activated baby mobile device.
16. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 15, wherein the mounting bracket is secured along a crib railing to support the motion and sound activated baby mobile device in use.
17. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 16, wherein the mobile component is molded in various colors and patterns to match existing decor, based upon a user's preference.
18. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 17, wherein the mobile controls allow a user to change light settings, songs, and volume, as well as to visually check on the baby via the built-in camera, as needed.
19. The motion and sound activated baby mobile device of claim 18, wherein the smart device performs any type of wireless communication, including, but not limited to, WIFI, BLUETOOTH, RFID, NFC, etc.
20. A method of automatically activating a baby mobile to soothe a baby, the method comprising the following steps:providing a motion and sound activated baby mobile device comprising a mobile component with various toy attachments and a clamping system;mounting the mobile component over a crib;pairing the mobile component to a mobile application on a smart device;changing light settings, songs and volume via the mobile app on the smart device;viewing the baby via the camera on the mobile component; andautomatically activating the mobile component when the baby moves or cries via the motion detector and speaker.
