[0028] FIG. 1 depicts a planar view of one embodiment of the present invention before gluing and folding. This embodiment contains two beverage compartments and exhibits bilateral symmetry, with the carrier base 1 positioned between the left and right sides. Both sides contain a carrier wall 3, an embedded carrier handle 9, and an embedded beverage compartment. Each beverage compartment consists of a beverage compartment base and wall 4, 5, lower beverage compartment arms 6, upper beverage compartment arms 7, a pull tab 4a, and adjustment flaps 8. Claims
1. A portable food and beverage carrier, comprising:a carrier base;a pair of carrier walls attached to said carrier base;at least one beverage compartment embedded in each of said carrier walls, each beverage compartment comprising:a beverage compartment base,a beverage compartment wall,a pair of upper and lower beverage compartment arms,a pull tab for deploying the beverage compartment, anda pair of adjusting flaps attached to said beverage wall;a pair of handles formed integrally with said carrier walls, wherein the beverage compartment is deployable from a retracted position to a deployed position by actuating the pull tab.
2. The portable food and beverage carrier, comprising:a food compartment, said food compartment comprising:a carrier basea food compartment base attached to said carrier base,vertical food compartment supports connected to said carrier base,a pair of upper and lower food compartment arms connected to said vertical food compartment supports,a pair of carrier walls attached to said food compartment basewherein said food compartment is deployable from a retracted position to a deployed position.
3. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, wherein said adjusting flaps are configured to bend outward to accommodate beverage containers of varying diameters.
4. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, wherein said beverage compartment arms are configured to rotate outward when the beverage compartment is deployed, providing lateral support to a beverage container.
5. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, further comprising a pair of upper and lower beverage compartment scores, said scores connecting said beverage compartment arms to said carrier walls and beverage compartment walls to facilitate deployment.
6. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 2, wherein said food compartment is configured to accommodate food trays or boxes and is secured by the upper and lower food compartment arms when deployed.
7. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 2, wherein said vertical food compartment supports are bonded to one another with glue, providing structural support to the food compartment.
8. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, wherein said handles are integrally formed with said carrier walls to minimize material usage.
9. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, wherein the carrier walls are secured to each other by glue applied along one of the carrier walls to form a rigid structure.
10. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, further comprising die-cut notches at predetermined positions to enhance production efficiency during the die-cutting process.
11. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, wherein said pull tab further comprises a scored portion to assist in the ease of pulling and deploying the beverage compartment.
12. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, wherein said carrier base comprises bilateral symmetry to allow for uniform deployment of the beverage and food compartments on both sides of the carrier.
13. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 2, wherein said food compartment base is foldable along two scored lines to facilitate deployment of the food compartment.
14. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 2, wherein said food compartment arms are hinged to said vertical food compartment supports to allow rotational deployment of the arms for food placement.
15. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 1, wherein the carrier base is omitted, allowing the carrier to be folded once during production when a thinner material is used.
16. The portable food and beverage carrier of claim 2, wherein the carrier base is omitted, allowing the carrier to be folded once during production when a thinner material is used.
