Dual-Function Convertible Cushion

Abstract

A dual-function convertible cushion serves as a decorative pillow and a two-panel seat pad. The cushion includes first and second cushion panels connected by a flexible hinge. Each panel contains a resilient core, preferably a supportive foam, enclosed in a fabric cover. An integrated magnetic closure system, with magnetic elements embedded along the panels'edges, automatically and releasably secures the panels together when the cushion is folded into a pillow shape. The closure is concealed, allowing the cushion to appear as an ordinary pillow. The conversion is quick and seamless. The supportive core in each panel maintains the cushion's shape and ensures comfort in both configurations.
