Permanent formwork for edge beams in construction

Abstract

The useful solution refers to permanent formwork (1) used for edge beams in construction, which consists of: a composite plate (2) consisting of an outer steel mesh plate (21) joined with an inner mortar retaining mesh plate (22); at least one connecting bar (3) connecting the composite plate (2) to the reinforcement (5) of the beam with screws (4). In which the steel mesh (21) has sufficient strength to withstand the direct horizontal force from the fresh concrete mass during concrete compaction; the mortar retaining mesh (22) has a mesh size small enough to allow cement water to pass through partially to create adhesion and retain aggregate and fine mortar, preventing water loss and mortar leakage and increasing the tightness of the formwork system.
