Description

Transaction support device, transaction support program, and transaction support method

[0001] The present invention relates to a transaction support device, a transaction support program, and a transaction support method.

[0002] A method has been proposed for selling living organisms whose genetic information has been identified.

[0003] For example, Patent Document 1 discloses that genetic identifiers such as nucleic acid sequences are associated with animals, embryos, gametes, and the like.

[0004] Special table number 2009-518712

[0005] However, the technology disclosed in Patent Document 1 does not have a mechanism to guarantee that the genetic trait identifier linked to an animal, etc. is correct, so it is possible that the animal, etc. purchased by the user does not have the genetic trait.

[0006] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to support transactions that have a mechanism for guaranteeing that a living organism has correctly linked genetic information.

[0007] In one aspect of the present invention, a product trading support device includes a genetic information storage unit that stores the genetic information of the living organism, and an NFT issuing unit that generates a pedigree and digital art based on the genetic information and records a user ID that identifies the owner of the living organism in association with a non-fungible token associated with the pedigree and the digital art on a blockchain network.

[0008] According to the present invention, it is possible to support transactions while ensuring that a living organism has linked genetic information without fail.

[0010] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the embodiments described below do not unduly limit the content of the present invention described in the claims. Furthermore, not all of the components shown in the embodiments are necessarily essential components of the present invention.

[0011] <Summary of the Invention> The details of embodiments of the present invention will be listed and described below. The present invention, for example, has the following configuration. [Item 1] A transaction assistance device that assists in the trading of living organisms, comprising: a genetic information storage unit that stores genetic information of the living organism; and an NFT issuing unit that generates a pedigree or digital art based on the genetic information and records a user ID identifying the owner of the living organism in a blockchain network by associating it with a non-fungible token associated with the pedigree or the digital art. [Item 2] The transaction assistance device described in Item 1, wherein the NFT issuing unit generates the digital art based on base sequence information included in the genetic information. [Item 3] The transaction assistance device described in Item 1 or 2, comprising: a trait simulation unit that predicts the traits of offspring when the first organism and the second organism are crossed, based on trait information of the first organism and the second organism and the genetic information. [Item 4] The transaction support device described in Item 3, comprising a distribution unit that, when revenue is obtained from a viewing user who wishes to view a pedigree and the pedigree is viewed, distributes a portion of the revenue to the testing user who is the owner of the pedigree. [Item 5] A transaction support program that supports transactions of living organisms, comprising a processor that executes: a genetic information storage step of storing genetic information of the living organism; and an NFT issuance step of generating a pedigree or digital art based on the genetic information and recording a user ID that identifies the owner of the living organism in association with a non-fungible token associated with the pedigree or the digital art on a blockchain network. [Item 6] A transaction support method that supports transactions of living organisms, comprising: a genetic information storage step of storing genetic information of the living organism; and an NFT issuance step of generating a pedigree or digital art based on the genetic information and recording a user ID that identifies the owner of the living organism in association with a non-fungible token associated with the pedigree or the digital art on a blockchain network.

[0012] 1 is a diagram showing an example of the overall configuration of a transaction support system according to one embodiment of the present invention. The provision system of this embodiment is configured to include a server device 1. The server device 1 is communicably connected to an inspection user terminal 2, a browsing user terminal 3, and an inspection device terminal 4 via a communication network NW. The communication network NW is, for example, the Internet, and is constructed using a public telephone line network, a mobile phone line network, a wireless communication path, Ethernet (registered trademark), etc.

[0013] The server device 1 is also communicatively connected to a blockchain network (Blockchain NW in FIG. 1 ). The blockchain network is made up of multiple nodes (computers) and can manage ledger data in a distributed manner. The distributed ledger is managed to make it difficult to tamper with using a so-called blockchain mechanism. Note that a general distributed ledger management mechanism using blockchain is adopted, so a detailed explanation will be omitted here. The blockchain network can be built using, for example, Ethereum.

[0014] Tokens (Ethereum tokens) that can be issued by a blockchain network such as Ethereum include fungible tokens and non-fungible tokens (Non-Fungible Tokens: NFTs). NFTs are, for example, tokens (also called NFT-721 tokens) issued in accordance with the "ERC721" standard of Ethereum, a blockchain network platform. NFTs are units of data recorded on a blockchain network, can be associated with editions (ownership rights) of digital products based on unique identifiers (NFT-IDs), and are non-fungible. NFTs can have unique value that is distinguishable from other NFTs. In this embodiment, as an example, it is assumed that the NFT is an NFT-721 token. NFTs, like fungible tokens, can be traded on a blockchain network. The transaction history of NFTs is recorded on the blockchain network. The blockchain network's distributed ledger also records the ownership and ownership history of the NFT.

[0015] FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating an example of the hardware configuration of the server device 1. Note that the illustrated configuration is an example, and other configurations may also be used. The server device 1 includes a CPU 101, a memory 102, a storage device 103, a communication interface 104, an input device 105, and an output device 106. The storage device 103 stores various data and programs, and is, for example, a hard disk drive, a solid-state drive, or a flash memory. The communication interface 104 is an interface for connecting to the communication network 2, and is, for example, an adapter for connecting to Ethernet (registered trademark), a modem for connecting to a public telephone network, a wireless communication device for wireless communication, a USB (Universal Serial Bus) connector, or an RS232C connector for serial communication. The input device 105 is, for example, a keyboard, a mouse, a touch panel, a button, a microphone, or the like for inputting data. The output device 106 is, for example, a display, a printer, a speaker, or the like for outputting data. Each functional unit of the server device 1 described below is realized by the CPU 101 reading a program stored in the storage device 103 into the memory 102 and executing it, and each storage unit of the server device 1 is realized as part of the storage area provided by the memory 102 and the storage device 103.

[0016] The server device 1 can receive biometric genetic information from the testing device terminal 4 and record non-fungible tokens (hereinafter, "NFTs") associated with the biometric identifier or the like on a blockchain network. NFTs are, for example, tokens issued in accordance with the "ERC721" standard of Ethereum, a blockchain network platform. They are units of data recorded on a blockchain network and can be associated with editions (ownership) of digital products based on IDs, making them non-fungible. Because NFTs are recorded on the blockchain along with smart contracts and are traceable, they can verify transaction information, including details and histories of the biometric owner and the genetic information tester. Furthermore, by using smart contracts, contracts regarding transactions between platform operators and users, or between multiple users, can be automatically generated, approved, and executed without the involvement of a third party.

[0017] ==Test User Terminal 2== The test user terminal 2 is a computer operated by a user (hereinafter referred to as test user) who is, for example, the owner of a living organism and wishes to test the genetic information of the living organism. For example, it is a smartphone, tablet computer, personal computer, etc. The test user can access the server device 1 using, for example, an application or web browser executed on the test user terminal 2.

[0018] ==Viewing User Terminal 3== The viewing user terminal 3 is a computer used by a user (hereinafter referred to as a viewing user) who wishes to view the biological genetic information and pedigree. For example, it is a smartphone, a tablet computer, a personal computer, etc. The viewing user can access the server device 1 using, for example, an application or a web browser executed on the viewing user terminal 3.

[0019] The inspecting user may also serve as the viewing user.

[0020] ==Testing Device Terminal 4== The testing device terminal 4 is a computer that controls a testing device that tests the genetic information of a living body. For example, it is a smartphone, tablet computer, or personal computer. A user of the testing device terminal 4 can access the server device 1 using, for example, an application or web browser running on the testing device terminal 4.

[0021] The testing device in this embodiment may be a device that tests genetic information of a living organism, and may be, for example, a DNA sequencer, a next-generation sequencer, a DNA chip analysis device, or the like, but is not limited to these.

[0022] Fig. 3 is a functional block diagram of the server device 1 of Fig. 1. The server device 1 includes processing units, namely, a user information acquisition unit 111, a biometric information acquisition unit 112, a genetic information acquisition unit 113, a pedigree generation unit 114, an art generation unit 115, an NFT issuance unit 116, a presentation unit 116, a trait simulation unit 118, a distribution unit 119, and a buying and selling support unit 120, as well as storage units, namely, a user information storage unit 131, a biometric information storage unit 132, a genetic information storage unit 133, a pedigree information storage unit 134, and an art storage unit 135.

[0023] The information stored in each of the user information storage unit 131, biometric information storage unit 132, genetic information storage unit 133, pedigree information storage unit 134, and art storage unit 135 will be described below.

[0024] The user information storage unit 131 stores information about the inspection user and the browsing user acquired by the user information acquisition unit 111. As shown in Fig. 4, the user information includes, for example, a name, an email address, an address, a telephone number, a bank account, a wallet address, credit card information, and the like, all linked to a user ID, but is not limited to these.

[0025] The biometric information storage unit 132 stores information about a living body (hereinafter, also referred to as an individual) possessed by the test user, acquired by the biometric information acquisition unit 112. As shown in Fig. 5 , the biometric information includes, for example, information such as species, breed, name, date of birth, age, sex, parents, ancestry, height, weight, coat color, coat quality, chronic illnesses, and an image of the living body, linked to a biometric ID, but is not limited to these.

[0026] In this embodiment, the living organism may be, but is not limited to, a pet, livestock, farmed fish, etc. The test user may be, but is not limited to, a pet owner, a livestock farmer, a fish farmer, etc.

[0027] The genetic information storage unit 133 stores information related to the genetic information of a living organism acquired by the genetic information acquisition unit 113. As shown in Fig. 6, the genetic information includes, for example, genome information linked to a living organism ID, a base sequence of a specific portion, a base sequence of a sex-determining gene and its neighboring region, SNPs, information about the tester, etc. The genetic information may be in the form of, for example, a FASTA file, a FASTQ file, an sra file, an ab1 file, a text file, etc., but is not limited to these.

[0028] The pedigree information storage unit 134 stores pedigree information generated by the pedigree generation unit 114. As shown in Fig. 7 as an example, the pedigree information includes, but is not limited to, the biological species, breed, name, date of birth, age, sex, parents, ancestors, withers height, weight, coat color, coat quality, chronic illnesses, analysis ID, genetic information, phylogenetic tree, information on the person analyzing the genetic information, rarity, user IDs of previous owners, and dates and times of transfer to previous owners, all linked to a user ID or a biological ID.

[0029] The art storage unit 135 stores the art generated by the art generation unit 115 .

[0030] In this embodiment, art includes images, videos, audio, and the like, including, but not limited to, artworks, characters, digital items, and the like (hereinafter referred to as content). Furthermore, ownership of the art can be shared among multiple users. Ownership can be offered in multiple editions (e.g., 100 items offered), and each edition is associated with an NFT-ID. Art purchased by a viewing user can be resold to other users through auctions or other methods. Each time a viewing user acquires ownership of art, the user's name can be displayed on digital signage attached to the art or on a webpage related to the digital product.

[0031] The art of this embodiment may be provided to the test user who owns the living body linked to the art, the viewing user who purchases the living body, or to any desired third party. The viewing user may be able to select to purchase the art when purchasing the living body.

[0032] Alternatively, all or part of the pedigree information storage unit 134 and the art storage unit 135 may be provided on a blockchain network, and all or part of the pedigree information and art information may be managed in a distributed ledger. For example, the biological ID and genetic information stored in the pedigree storage unit 134 may be stored on the blockchain network, and information such as the biological species and breed may be stored in a storage medium of the server device 1.

[0033] The functions of each processing unit, i.e., the user information acquisition unit 111, the biometric information acquisition unit 112, the genetic information acquisition unit 113, the pedigree generation unit 114, the art generation unit 115, the NFT issuance unit 116, the presentation unit 116, the trait simulation unit 118, the distribution unit 119, and the buying and selling support unit 120, are described below.

[0034] For example, the user information acquisition unit 111 presents an input form for user information to the inspection user terminal 2 or the viewing user terminal 3 via the network NW, and acquires the user information based on the user's input. The communication for sending and receiving may be either wired or wireless, and any communication protocol may be used as long as the communication between them can be performed.

[0035] For example, the biometric information acquiring unit 112 presents an input form for biometric information to the test user terminal 2 via the network NW, and acquires the biometric information based on the input from the test user. The communication for sending and receiving may be either wired or wireless, and any communication protocol may be used as long as the communication between them is possible.

[0036] For example, the biometric information acquisition unit 112 may analyze the acquired image of the living body using a known image analysis technique to determine the species, variety, and traits of the living body. Furthermore, the biometric information acquisition unit 112 may compare the information determined from the image with the biometric information input by the user, and ask the test user to confirm any items of the biometric information determined to be incorrect.

[0037] The biometric information acquisition unit 112 may acquire information that includes a request for testing genetic information of a living organism, and when the biometric information acquisition unit 112 acquires the request, a business operator that operates a business using the server device 1 delivers a kit or the like for acquiring a test sample (for example, a part of a living organism such as a part of a tail fin) to the test user who issued the request, and the test user hands over the acquired sample to the business operator by returning it to the business operator, and the business operator or a third party commissioned by the business operator tests the genetic information. Note that an existing method can be used for testing genetic information, so a description thereof will be omitted.

[0038] As an example, the genetic information acquisition unit 113 acquires genetic information from the testing device terminal 4 via the network NW. The communication for sending and receiving may be either wired or wireless, and any communication protocol may be used as long as mutual communication is possible. The genetic information acquisition unit 113 may also acquire genetic information by a business operator who conducts business using the server device 1 transferring the genetic information stored in the testing device terminal 4 to the server device 1 using a storage medium or the like. The genetic information acquisition unit 113 may also acquire genetic information already held by the testing user from the testing user terminal 2.

[0039] The pedigree generation unit 114 generates a pedigree corresponding to a living organism. The pedigree generation unit 114 generates a pedigree corresponding to a living organism, for example, based on the biometric information and genetic information of the living organism. An example of a pedigree generated by the pedigree generation unit 114 is shown in FIG. 8.

[0040] The pedigree generating unit 114 may generate a diagram based on genetic information, such as a phylogenetic tree or a diagram plotting genotyping, and generate a pedigree including information from the diagram.

[0041] The pedigree generation unit 114 may calculate the rarity of a living organism and generate a pedigree including rarity information. The pedigree generation unit 114 may calculate the rarity from, for example, biometric information or genetic information of a certain living organism and a fixation rate. For example, the server device 1 stores a known probability that a phenotype, such as a color, contained in biometric information linked to a certain living organism will appear, and the pedigree generation unit 114 may use information on the fixation rate as the rarity. If a living organism has multiple phenotypes for which fixation rates are stored, the pedigree generation unit 114 may calculate the rarity by multiplying the fixation rates associated with each phenotype. Furthermore, if the genetic information includes a mutation of an SNP known to be associated with a specific phenotype, the probability that the mutation of the SNP will appear is stored in the server device 1 as a fixation rate, and the fixation rate information may be used as the rarity. If a living organism has multiple SNP mutations for which fixation rates are stored, the pedigree generation unit 114 may calculate the rarity by multiplying the fixation rates associated with each SNP mutation. The pedigree generation unit 114 may calculate the rarity based on a fixation rate A of the phenotype contained in the biometric information and a fixation rate B of SNP mutations, etc., known to be associated with a specific phenotype, contained in the genetic information. In this case, the pedigree generation unit 114 may calculate the rarity by multiplying the fixation rate A by the fixation rate B, or may calculate the rarity by multiplying the fixation rate A or the fixation rate B by a predetermined coefficient and then multiplying them together.

[0042] The art generation unit 115 generates digital art based on pedigree information. The art generation unit 115 generates art based on, for example, the biometric information and genetic information of the living organism that served as the basis for the pedigree. An example of art generated by the art generation unit is shown in FIG. 9 . For example, the art generation unit 115 arranges A, T, C, and G, which represent bases, in a frame corresponding to the biological species and breed stored in the server device 1 based on information on the biological species and breed contained in the biometric information linked to the living organism that served as the basis for the pedigree. The art generation unit 115 may replace the colors of A, T, C, and G with four colors based on a neighboring sequence containing SNPs specific to and characteristic of the living organism that are contained in the genetic information linked to the living organism, or may change the eye color or base color based on the position and number of SNPs or individual color information contained in the biometric information, but is not limited to these methods.

[0043] For example, the art generation unit 115 may generate art based on the biometric information and genetic information of the living organism that is the basis of the pedigree, and on traits that may appear in the descendants of that living organism.

[0044] When the pedigree generation unit generates a pedigree, the NFT issuing unit 116 issues an NFT corresponding to the pedigree (certifying the owner of the pedigree (owner of the living organism)). The issued NFT contains information identifying the pedigree and information identifying the owner (user ID, etc.). The NFT light-emitting unit 116 may also issue an NFT corresponding to art generated by the art generation unit.

[0045] The NFT issuing unit 116 can send the issued NFT to the wallet of the test user who is the owner.

[0046] The presentation unit 117 presents the pedigree generated by the pedigree generation unit 114 and the art generated by the art generation unit 115 to the test user.

[0047] The presentation unit 117 may grant the test user access rights to the pedigree information storage unit 134 and the art storage unit 135 and present the URL or the like.

[0048] The presentation unit 117 presents the pedigree generated by the pedigree generation unit 114 and the art generated by the art generation unit 115 to the viewing user.

[0049] The presentation unit 117 acquires a viewing request for a specific pedigree or art from the viewing user. The presentation unit 117 may acquire a consideration in the form of a specific currency, cryptocurrency, or the like, along with the viewing request from the viewing user. When the presentation unit 117 acquires a viewing request or consideration from the viewing user, it may grant access rights to the pedigree information storage unit 134 and the art storage unit 135 and present a URL, or the like.

[0050] The trait simulation unit 118 simulates the phenotypic traits that will result when the living organisms that form the basis of the pedigrees are crossed, based on the information from multiple pedigrees. The trait simulation unit 118 acquires a request for a trait simulation from the testing user or viewing user, for example, specifying two pedigrees. The trait simulation unit 118 may, for example, simulate the phenotypic traits that will result when the living organisms that form the basis of the pedigrees are crossed, based on the information from the specified pedigrees.

[0051] The trait simulation unit 118 simulates, based on academically known facts, what traits, such as color, body type, body length, withers height, and physical characteristics, will result when genetic information contained in the specified pedigree is combined. It may also take into account the probability of mutations occurring in genetic information during meiosis of germ cells or due to recombination, and add probability information to the simulation results. The trait simulation unit 118 may simulate the traits of the next generation by combining the genetic pedigree background (such as phylogenetic analysis and STRUCTURE analysis) within the current generation of biological species with trait information.

[0052] For example, if the pedigree that has been accepted contains information on a special individual (e.g., an individual with a phenotype such as a change in color, body shape, body length, or body height compared to a wild individual), and the gene causing the phenotype has been identified and information such as its frequency has been scientifically clarified, the trait simulation unit 118 will use that trait as a simulation result. For example, it is known that L236 (invoice name), a type of ornamental fish, has undergone advanced breeding, resulting in a high rate of fixation of mutant traits (special individuals) in the next generation, while L333 (invoice name), which still retains many wild-type traits, tends to result in a low rate of fixation of mutant traits (special individuals) in the next generation. However, since it is possible to create fixed varieties with mutant traits through selective breeding for any variety, the trait simulation unit 118 can simulate (predict) the traits of the next generation by combining the genetic pedigree background (such as phylogenetic analysis and STRUCTURE analysis) within the species in the current generation with trait information.

[0053] For example, if the pedigree that has been accepted contains information about a special individual (for example, an individual whose phenotype, such as color, body shape, body length, or height, has changed compared to a wild individual), and the gene that causes the phenotype has not been identified, the trait simulation unit 118 can take into account, for example, the parent breed, phenotype (appearance, etc.), and the rate of mutant individuals (fixation rate) of the offspring, and return a simulation result such as ``there is a high possibility that the next generation will have an S / A / B / C / D grade.''

[0054] The trait simulation unit 118 may, for example, obtain compensation in the form of a specific currency, cryptocurrency, or the like from the user who has requested a trait simulation.

[0055] When compensation is obtained by viewing a pedigree or performing a trait simulation, the distribution unit 119 may distribute a portion of the compensation to the testing user who is the owner of the pedigree that was viewed or the pedigree that was the subject of a trait simulation.

[0056] The sales support unit 120 supports the sale of living organisms. The sales support unit 120 may be equipped with a chat system, a bulletin board, or the like to enable communication between the inspection user and the browsing user. The sales support unit 120 may accept conditions for the sale of living organisms (price, delivery method, etc.) from the inspection user terminal 2 and present them to the browsing user terminal 3. The sales support unit 120 accepts a purchase application for a living organism from the browsing user and presents it to the inspection user. When accepting a purchase application from the browsing user, the sales support unit 120 may request payment of a consideration, and may pay the inspection user an amount obtained by subtracting a commission from the consideration.

[0057] FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating the operation of the transaction support system of this embodiment.

[0058] The server device 1 acquires user information from the testing user terminal 2 (1001). The server device 1 acquires biometric information from the testing user terminal 2 (1002). The testing server device 1 acquires genetic information from the testing device terminal 4 (1003). The server device 1 generates and stores a pedigree (1004). The server device 1 generates and stores art (1004). The server device 1 issues an NFT (1006). The server device 1 may present the pedigree and art to the testing user terminal 2. The server device 1 acquires a request to view the pedigree from the viewing user terminal 3 (1007). At this time, consideration may be obtained from the viewing user who requests viewing. The server device 1 controls the viewing authority of the pedigree and presents it to the viewing user (1008). The server device 1 acquires a request for trait simulation from the viewing user terminal 3 (1009). At this time, consideration may be obtained from the viewing user who requests viewing. The server device 1 performs trait simulation and presents the results to the viewing user (1010). The server device 1 distributes the profits to the testing users who have requested to view the pedigree or who own the pedigree that was the subject of the trait simulation (1011). The server device 1 receives a request to purchase a living animal and obtains payment information from the viewing user terminal 3 (1012). The server device 1 presents the request to purchase a living animal and payment information for the profits to the testing user terminal 2 (1013).

[0059] As described above, the transaction support system of this embodiment allows the purchase of living organisms whose pedigrees have been certified as not having been altered, and allows the purchase of living organisms after seeing predicted traits when mated with the living organism.

Claims

1. A transaction support device that supports transactions of living organisms, comprising: a genetic information storage unit that stores genetic information of the living organism; and an NFT issuing unit that generates a pedigree or digital art based on the genetic information, and associates a user ID that identifies the owner of the living organism with a non-fungible token associated with the pedigree or digital art and records it on a blockchain network.

2. The transaction support device described in claim 1, wherein the NFT issuing unit generates the digital art based on base sequence information contained in the genetic information.

3. A transaction support device as described in claim 1 or 2, comprising: a trait simulation unit that predicts the traits of offspring when a first organism is crossed with a second organism based on trait information of the first organism and the second organism and the genetic information.

4. A transaction support device as described in claim 3, further comprising a distribution unit that distributes a portion of the profits to a user who is the owner of the pedigree when the profits are obtained from a viewing user who wishes to view the pedigree and the pedigree is viewed.

5. A transaction support program that supports transactions of living organisms, the transaction support program causing a processor to execute the following steps: a genetic information storage step of storing genetic information of the living organism; and an NFT issuance step of generating a pedigree or digital art based on the genetic information, and associating a user ID identifying the owner of the living organism with a non-fungible token associated with the pedigree or digital art, and recording it on a blockchain network.

6. A transaction support method for supporting transactions of living organisms, comprising: a genetic information storage step for storing genetic information of the living organism; and an NFT issuance step for generating a pedigree or digital art based on the genetic information, and associating a user ID identifying the owner of the living organism with a non-fungible token associated with the pedigree or digital art and recording it on a blockchain network.
