Abstract
Description
How to handle membership cancellation requests, electronic devices and recording media
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a method, an electronic device and a recording medium for processing a membership cancellation request.
[0002] Advances in communications technology have led to the widespread use of e-commerce services, which allow online transactions of items. The scope of e-commerce services is expanding beyond mere footwear to include services as well. With such a diverse range of items being traded through e-commerce services, operators of these services need to develop strategies to effectively sell and provide a diverse range of items to users.
[0003] As an example of the aforementioned strategy, e-commerce service operators can offer special benefits to members to attract new users and maintain loyalty among existing users. Users who pay a certain amount to join the membership program can enjoy various benefits, such as discounts on product purchases and access to content. Furthermore, these paid membership programs can generate stable revenue for e-commerce service operators. Therefore, research and development are underway into technologies that prevent users from canceling their memberships.
[0004] Users who have signed up for a membership can run an e-commerce service-related application on their terminal devices and access the membership page through the application. On the membership page, users can edit payment information (e.g., payment method) for monthly membership fees, cancel their membership, and more. Therefore, one embodiment of the present disclosure provides a membership management page to users, enabling them to efficiently manage their membership, such as requesting payment information, requesting membership terms and conditions, or requesting membership cancellation.
[0005] Users who have signed up for a membership can request to initiate the membership cancellation process by selecting "Cancel Membership" on the membership page and accessing the membership cancellation request page. However, the membership cancellation request page simply lists the definitions of membership benefits, making it difficult for users to directly understand the actual benefits they can obtain from the membership benefits. Furthermore, users cannot see the actual benefits they have obtained by using the membership benefits on the membership cancellation request page. This makes it difficult to prevent users from canceling their membership during the membership cancellation process. Therefore, one embodiment of the present disclosure aims to encourage users to forgo cancellation and maintain their membership during the membership cancellation process by allowing users to confirm the benefits they can obtain from the membership benefits and the actual benefits they have obtained by using the membership benefits on the membership cancellation request page.
[0006] Meanwhile, users can choose to cancel their membership on the membership cancellation request page. If a user has used membership benefits less than a certain number of times (e.g., once) or has never used them at all, the user can immediately cancel their membership and receive a refund of the monthly membership fee. However, as an operator of an e-commerce service that operates a membership program, it is important to reduce the number of users who immediately cancel their membership. Therefore, one embodiment of the present disclosure provides an opportunity for users to reconsider their membership cancellation during the remaining membership period by allowing them to schedule a cancellation.

Such a display may be implemented in the form of a touch sensor panel (TSP) capable of recognizing contact or proximity of various external objects (e.g., a user's finger or stylus).
[0092] In one embodiment, the computing device (200) may include an input device (e.g., a mouse or keyboard) (not shown). The input device may receive information to be used in components of the computing device (200) from an external source (e.g., a user) of the computing device (200).
[0093] The processor (210), memory (220), and communication interface (230) illustrated in FIG. 2 are connected to each other through a bus, GPIO (General Purpose Input / Output), SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface), or MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface), and can send or receive information or signals.
[0094] Additionally, the operations of the method described with reference to the drawings below may be performed by a computing device. In other words, the operations of the method may be implemented as one or more instructions executed by a processor of the computing device. All operations included in this method may be performed by a single physical computing device. For example, the first operation of the method may be performed by a first computing device, and the second operation of the method may be performed by a second computing device. In other words, the operations included in the method may be performed by being divided among multiple computing devices.
[0095] Hereinafter, the description will continue assuming that the operation of the aforementioned method is performed by the electronic device (110) illustrated in FIG. 1. In addition, for convenience of explanation, the subject of the operation included in the method may be omitted, but unless otherwise indicated in the context, it may be interpreted that the operation is performed by the electronic device (110).
[0096] FIG. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method (300) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0097] The method (300) illustrated in FIG. 3 comprises a series of operations for providing a membership management page that enables integrated membership management to users who have signed up for membership. The operations illustrated in FIG. 3 are described in detail below.
[0098] The method (300) may include an operation (S310) in which the electronic device (110) transmits information about a membership page to the user terminal (120). For example, the user terminal (120) may obtain user input information for a button requesting a membership page on a page for an e-commerce service displayed on the display. In this case, the user terminal (120) may transmit a request for a membership page to the electronic device (110). In response to the request for a membership page, the electronic device (110) may transmit information about the membership page to the user terminal (120). Here, the membership page may be a page that may be provided in connection with the e-commerce service and may be a page that the user can access through the user terminal (120) to obtain information related to membership benefits. Meanwhile, the information about the membership page may be display information that causes the membership page to be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120). That is, the user terminal (120) may display the membership page on the display based on the information about the membership page.
[0099] The membership page may include information related to the membership benefits, such as the membership start or end date, the validity period for which membership benefits can be received, and other information related to membership benefits. The aforementioned information related to membership benefits may include the attributes of the benefits, i.e., the details of the membership benefits available to the user.
[0100] The membership page may include a button that requests a membership management page where users can confirm or modify payment information, request membership terms and conditions, and request membership cancellation.
[0101] The method (300) may include an operation (S320) in which the electronic device (110) receives a request for membership management from the user terminal (120). For example, the electronic device (110) may receive a request for a membership management page from the user terminal (120). For example, the user terminal (120) may obtain user input information for a button requesting a membership management page from a membership page displayed on a display. In this case, the user terminal (120) may transmit a request for membership management or a request for a membership management page to the electronic device (110).
[0102] The method (300) may include an operation (S330) in which the electronic device (110) transmits information about a membership management page to a user terminal (120). Meanwhile, the information about the membership management page may be display information that causes the membership management page to be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120). That is, the user terminal (120) may display the membership management page on the display based on the information about the membership management page.
[0103] In one embodiment, the membership management page may include at least one of a button requesting payment information, a button requesting membership terms and conditions, or a button requesting the initiation of a membership cancellation process. The user terminal (120) may obtain user input information for the buttons included in the membership management page and transmit a request corresponding to the button to the electronic device (110).
[0104] For example, if the user terminal (120) obtains user input information for a button requesting payment information on the membership management page, the user terminal (120) may transmit a request for payment information or a request for a payment information page to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device (110) may transmit information about the payment information page to the user terminal (120). Based on the information about the payment information page, the user terminal (120) may display the payment information page on the display. The user may check the payment information on the payment information page displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), and may modify the payment information by modifying the information of an existing payment method, deleting an existing payment method, or registering a new payment method through the user terminal (120).
[0105] For another example, if the user terminal (120) obtains user input information for a button requesting membership terms and conditions on the membership management page, the user terminal (120) may transmit a request for membership terms and conditions or a request for a membership terms and conditions page to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device may transmit information about the membership terms and conditions page to the user terminal (120). Based on the information about the membership terms and conditions page, the user terminal (120) may display the membership terms and conditions page on the display. The user may check the terms and conditions for the membership he or she has subscribed to on the membership terms and conditions page displayed on the display of the user terminal (120).
[0106] For another example, if the user terminal (120) obtains user input information for a button requesting the initiation of a membership cancellation procedure on the membership management page, the user terminal (120) may transmit a request for initiating a membership cancellation procedure or a request for a membership cancellation application page to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device may transmit information about the membership cancellation application page to the user terminal (120). Based on the information about the membership cancellation application page, the user terminal (120) may display the membership cancellation application page on the display. On the membership cancellation application page displayed on the display of the user terminal (120), the user may check information related to membership benefits and maintain the membership through the user terminal (120), put membership cancellation on hold and request a notification before the membership monthly fee payment date, or cancel the membership. A specific description of the membership cancellation application page will be described later with reference to FIG. 9.
[0107] FIG. 4A is a diagram illustrating a membership page (400) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 4B is a diagram illustrating a membership management page (450) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0108] The membership page (400) of FIG. 4a and the membership management page (450) of FIG. 4b may be a membership page and a membership management page displayed on the display of a user terminal (120) according to the method (300) described with reference to FIG. 3.
[0109] The membership page (400) may include membership validity period information (410), membership benefit related information (420), and a button for membership management or requesting membership management (430).
[0110] Membership validity period information (410) may include information related to the validity period during which membership benefits can be received, such as the start or end date of membership. For example, membership validity period information (410) may include information regarding the monthly membership fee payment date.
[0111] Membership benefit information (420) may include details of membership benefits available to the user. For example, membership benefit information (420) may be configured as a widget, a user interface element that includes information on benefit details and benefit-related items. In this case, the widget may include text or images representing the benefit details and benefit-related items.
[0112] In one embodiment, the button (430) is a user interface element that requests membership management or a membership management page. When the user terminal (120) obtains user input information for the button (430), the user terminal (120) can transmit a request for membership management or a membership management page to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device (110) can transmit information about the membership management page to the user terminal (120), and the user terminal (120) can display the membership management page on the display based on the information about the membership management page.
[0113] Referring to FIG. 4b, the membership management page (450) may include a button (460) for requesting payment information, a button (470) for requesting membership terms and conditions, and a button (480) for requesting initiation of a membership cancellation procedure.
[0114] In one embodiment, the button (460) is a user interface element that requests payment information. When the user terminal (120) obtains user input information for the button (460), the user terminal (120) can transmit a request for payment information to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device (110) can transmit information about a payment information page to the user terminal (120), and the user terminal (120) can display the payment information page on the display based on the information about the payment information page.
[0115] In one embodiment, the button (470) is a user interface element that requests membership terms and conditions. When the user terminal (120) obtains user input information for the button (470), the user terminal (120) can transmit a request for membership terms and conditions to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device (110) can transmit information about the membership terms and conditions page to the user terminal (120), and the user terminal (120) can display the membership terms and conditions page on the display based on the information about the membership terms and conditions page.
[0116] In one embodiment, the button (480) is a user interface element that requests the initiation of a membership cancellation procedure. When the user terminal (120) obtains a user input for the button (470), the user terminal (120) can transmit a request for initiating a membership cancellation procedure to the electronic device (110). In this case, the electronic device (110) can transmit information about a membership cancellation application page to the user terminal (120), and the user terminal (120) can display the membership cancellation application page on the display based on the information about the membership cancellation application page.
[0117] Meanwhile, although buttons are used as examples among user interface elements in FIGS. 4A and 4B, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. That is, buttons (430, 460, 470, 480) may be implemented by various user interface elements capable of performing the same or similar functions in addition to buttons.
[0118] According to the embodiments described with reference to Figures 3 to 4b, a membership management page can be provided to users, enabling them to comprehensively manage requests for payment information, membership terms and conditions, and membership cancellation requests. Accordingly, the e-commerce service experience for users who have signed up for membership can be improved.
[0119] FIG. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a method (500) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0120] The method (500) illustrated in FIG. 5 comprises a series of operations for providing a membership cancellation request page containing information related to membership benefits to a user who has signed up for membership and requests the initiation of a membership cancellation process. The operations illustrated in FIG. 5 are described in detail below.
[0121] The method (500) may include an operation (S510) in which the electronic device (110) receives a request to initiate a membership cancellation procedure from a user terminal (120).
[0122] When the user terminal (120) obtains a user input for a request to initiate a membership cancellation procedure on the membership management page, the user terminal (120) can transmit a request to initiate a membership cancellation procedure to the electronic device (110).
[0123] Alternatively, if the user terminal (120) obtains a user input for a request to initiate a membership cancellation procedure on the membership page, the user terminal (120) may transmit a request to initiate a membership cancellation procedure to the electronic device (110).
[0124] The method (500) may include an operation (S520) in which, in response to a request to initiate a membership cancellation procedure, the electronic device (110) determines one or more first benefits to be displayed on a first page among multiple benefits related to membership. Here, the first page may refer to a membership cancellation application page provided to the user in response to the request to initiate a membership cancellation procedure. Furthermore, the first benefit may refer to a benefit among multiple benefits, with items related to the benefit content being displayed together on the first page.
[0125] Membership benefits may include at least one benefit, such as the ability to view content, purchase pre-determined products at a discounted price, receive free shipping on fresh products, purchase products at a discounted price with limited availability and quantity, receive free shipping on international products, receive free shipping on products the day after the order date, receive free shipping on the order date, return products for free, or purchase travel-related products at a discounted price. Meanwhile, in the present disclosure, a pre-determined product may refer to a product that is pre-determined so that a user who has subscribed to the membership can purchase it at a discounted price. For example, a pre-determined product may be available for purchase at a discounted price by a user who has subscribed to the membership, but can only be purchased by a user who has not subscribed to the membership if the total payment amount exceeds a minimum payment amount.
[0126] In operation (S520) of method (500), the electronic device (110) may determine the priorities of multiple benefits related to membership and, based on the priorities, determine one or more first benefits from among the multiple benefits. A detailed description thereof will be described later with reference to FIG. 6.
[0127] The method (500) may include an operation (S530) in which the electronic device (110) determines one or more items corresponding to each of one or more first benefits. Here, the item corresponding to the first benefit may refer to a product or content. For example, if the first benefit is a benefit for viewing content, the item corresponding to the first benefit may be at least one of a plurality of contents. If the first benefit is a benefit for purchasing a predetermined product at a discounted price, the item corresponding to the first benefit may be at least one of a plurality of predetermined products. If the first benefit is a benefit for receiving free delivery of fresh products, the item corresponding to the first benefit may be at least one of a plurality of fresh products. If the first benefit is a benefit for purchasing products with limited purchase times and quantities at a discounted price, the item corresponding to the first benefit may be at least one of a plurality of products with limited purchase times and quantities. If the first benefit is a benefit for receiving free delivery of international products, the item corresponding to the first benefit may be at least one of a plurality of international products. If the first benefit is free shipping of a product by the next day of the order date, the first benefit may be at least one of multiple products eligible for next-day shipping. If the first benefit is free shipping of a product ordered on the order date, the first benefit may be at least one of multiple products eligible for same-day shipping. If the first benefit is free returns, the item corresponding to the first benefit may be at least one of multiple products eligible for free returns. If the first benefit is discounted travel-related products, the item corresponding to the first benefit may be at least one of multiple travel-related products. Furthermore, the item corresponding to the first benefit may refer to an item displayed on the first page along with the details of the first benefit.
[0128] In operation (S530) of method (500), the electronic device (110) may determine priorities of multiple items for each of one or more first benefits, and determine one or more items to be displayed on the first page from among the multiple items based on the priorities. A detailed description thereof will be described later with reference to FIG. 7.
[0129] The method (500) may include an operation (S540) in which the electronic device (110) transmits information about a first page, which includes information about one or more first benefits and information about one or more items corresponding to each of the one or more first benefits, to the user terminal (120). Meanwhile, the information about the first page may be display information that causes the first page to be displayed on the display of the user terminal (120). That is, the user terminal (120) may display the first page on the display based on the information about the first page.
[0130] Information about one or more first benefits may include images or text for each of the first benefits. For example, if the first benefit is a benefit that allows viewing of content, information about the first benefit may include an image or text indicating that the content can be viewed. For another example, if the first benefit is a benefit that allows purchasing a predetermined product at a discounted price, information about the first benefit may include an image or text indicating the price discount for the predetermined product. For another example, if the first benefit is a benefit that allows free delivery of fresh produce, information about the first benefit may include an image or text indicating free delivery of the fresh produce.
[0131] Information about one or more items may include images or text for each of the one or more items. For example, if the first benefit is a benefit for viewing content, information about one or more items corresponding to the first benefit may include at least some of the following: an image, text, a rating (e.g., a star rating), or a number of reviews for each of the one or more contents. For another example, if the first benefit is a benefit for purchasing a predetermined product at a discounted price, information about one or more items corresponding to the first benefit may include at least some of the following: an image, text, a rating (e.g., a star rating), or a number of reviews for each of the one or more predetermined products. For another example, if the first benefit is a benefit for receiving free shipping of fresh products, information about one or more items corresponding to the first benefit may include at least some of the following: an image, text, a rating (e.g., a star rating), or a number of reviews for each of the one or more fresh products.
[0132] Operation (S540) of method (500) may include an operation of generating a first page by the electronic device (110) so that one or more widgets for one or more first benefits are arranged on the first page, and an operation of transmitting information about the generated first page to the user terminal (120). Here, one or more first benefits may correspond to one or more widgets, and each of the one or more widgets may include information about the corresponding first benefit and information about one or more items related to the corresponding first benefit. A detailed description thereof will be described later with reference to FIGS. 11A to 11D. Here, the operation of generating the first page by the electronic device (110) may include an operation of generating the first page so that one or more widgets are arranged from the top of the first page based on the priority of one or more first benefits. That is, a widget corresponding to a first benefit having a higher priority among the one or more first benefits may be arranged sequentially from the top of the first page.
[0133] FIG. 6 is a flowchart illustrating detailed operations of an operation (S520) for determining benefits to be displayed on the first page described with reference to FIG. 5.
[0134] Below, the operations illustrated in Fig. 6 are described in detail.
[0135] The operation (S520) may include an operation (S610) in which the electronic device (110) determines the priority of multiple benefits associated with the membership.
[0136] For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priority of multiple benefits based on the logs of multiple users who have signed up for membership.
[0137] For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priority of multiple benefits by identifying benefits recognized by multiple users based on logs of multiple users and setting these benefits to a high priority.
[0138] For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priority of multiple benefits by calculating the number of clicks or views of users for each benefit based on the logs of multiple users and setting the priority in order of the benefits with the highest number of clicks or views.
[0139] For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priority of multiple benefits by calculating the number of times users use each benefit based on the logs of multiple users and setting the priority in order of the highest number of uses to the benefits.
[0140] For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priority of multiple benefits by identifying benefits that multiple users have contributed to maintaining their membership without canceling it based on the logs of multiple users and setting a high priority to these benefits.
[0141] For example, the electronic device (110) can identify a user among the plurality of users who has requested to cancel their membership based on the logs of the plurality of users. The electronic device (110) can determine the priority of the plurality of benefits by checking the benefits selected by the user who has requested to cancel their membership on the first page and setting a high priority to this benefit. That is, the benefit selected by the user who requested to cancel their membership but ultimately maintained their membership on the first page provided in response to the request to initiate the membership cancellation procedure can be considered as having contributed to the user maintaining their membership, and thus setting a high priority to this benefit. As another example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priority of the plurality of benefits by checking the benefits used by the user who has requested to cancel their membership and setting a high priority to N (N is a natural number) benefits in descending order of frequency of use. That is, the benefits frequently used by the user who has requested to cancel their membership but ultimately maintained their membership can be considered as having contributed to the user maintaining their membership, and thus setting a high priority to this benefit.
[0142] Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may set a high priority for benefits that contributed to a user who had canceled their membership and re-enrolled. For example, the electronic device (110) may identify a user who has canceled and then re-enrolled their membership based on the logs of multiple users. Based on the logs of users who have canceled and then re-enrolled, the electronic device (110) may identify survey result information generated when the user previously canceled their membership. Here, the survey result information may include information regarding the reason for membership cancellation. Based on the survey result information, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple benefits by identifying the item selected by the user as the reason for membership cancellation and setting a high priority to the membership benefit corresponding to the item. For example, if the user cancels and then re-registers by selecting “few discount benefits” as the reason for canceling membership, the electronic device (110) may determine the priorities of multiple benefits by giving high priority to the benefit of purchasing a predetermined product at a discounted price, the benefit of purchasing a product with a limited purchase time and quantity at a discounted price, or the benefit of purchasing travel-related products at a discounted price. As another example, if the user cancels and then re-registers by selecting “few recent shopping trips” as the reason for canceling membership, the electronic device (110) may determine the priorities of multiple benefits by giving high priority to the benefit of viewing content without additional charges. For another example, if a user cancels their membership by selecting "free shipping, expedited shipping is not necessary" as the reason for membership cancellation and then re-registers, the electronic device (110) can prioritize multiple benefits by giving high priority to benefits such as the ability to purchase a predetermined range of products at a discount, the ability to purchase products with limited purchase times and quantities at a discount, or the ability to purchase travel-related products at a discount. In other words, the re-registration of a user who had canceled their membership means that the reason for membership cancellation selected by the user has been resolved by a specific membership benefit. This can contribute to not only the user but also other users reconsidering membership cancellation, and thus, giving high priority to benefits corresponding to the reason for membership cancellation. Meanwhile, examples of reasons for membership cancellation include "few discount benefits," "recently reduced number of purchases," and "free shipping, expedited shipping is not necessary." However, these are provided for convenience of explanation and the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In addition, although the benefits corresponding to the reasons for membership cancellation have been explained, this is merely an example for the convenience of explanation, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0143] Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may check at least one of the user's benefit usage history, item purchase history, item search history, or shopping cart history based on the user's log. The electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple benefits based on at least one of the user's benefit usage history, item purchase history, item search history, or shopping cart history. For example, if the user has a history of frequently purchasing fresh produce, the priority of the multiple benefits may be determined by setting a high priority to the benefit of receiving free fresh produce delivery among the multiple benefits. As another example, if the user has a history of watching OTT content, the priority of the multiple benefits may be determined by setting a high priority to the benefit of watching content among the multiple benefits.
[0144] Operation (S520) may include operation (S620) in which the electronic device (110) determines one or more first benefits from among the plurality of benefits based on the priorities of the plurality of benefits determined in operation (S610). For example, the electronic device (110) may determine M (M is a natural number) benefits in order from among the plurality of benefits with the highest priority as one or more first benefits to be displayed on the first page.
[0145] FIG. 7 is a flowchart illustrating detailed operations of an operation (S530) for determining an item corresponding to a benefit to be displayed on the first page described with reference to FIG. 5.
[0146] Below, the operations illustrated in Fig. 7 are described in detail.
[0147] The operation (S530) may include an operation (S710) in which the electronic device (110) checks multiple items related to one or more first benefits.
[0148] For example, if one or more of the first benefits include a benefit of being able to view content, the electronic device (110) can check multiple contents related to the benefit of being able to view content.
[0149] For example, if one or more of the first benefits include a benefit of being able to purchase a predetermined product at a discounted price, the electronic device (110) can identify a plurality of predetermined products associated with the benefit of being able to purchase a predetermined product at a discounted price.
[0150] For example, if one or more of the first benefits includes a benefit of receiving free delivery of fresh products, the electronic device (110) can identify a plurality of fresh products associated with the benefit of receiving free delivery of fresh products.
[0151] For example, if one or more of the first benefits include a benefit of purchasing products at a discounted price with limited purchase times and quantities, the electronic device (110) can identify multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities associated with the benefit of purchasing products at a discounted price with limited purchase times and quantities.
[0152] For example, if one or more of the first benefits includes a benefit of receiving free shipping of overseas products, the electronic device (110) can check multiple overseas products related to the benefit of receiving free shipping of overseas products.
[0153] For example, if one or more of the first benefits include a benefit of receiving free delivery of products by the next day of the order date, the electronic device (110) can check multiple products eligible for next-day delivery related to the benefit of receiving free delivery of products by the next day of the order date.
[0154] For example, if one or more of the first benefits include a benefit of receiving free delivery of products ordered on the order date, the electronic device (110) can check multiple same-day delivery eligible products related to the benefit of receiving free delivery of products ordered on the order date.
[0155] For example, if one or more of the first benefits includes a benefit of being able to return products for free, the electronic device (110) can identify multiple free-returnable products associated with the benefit of being able to return products for free.
[0156] For example, if one or more of the first benefits include a benefit of purchasing travel-related products at a discounted price, the electronic device (110) can identify a plurality of travel-related products associated with the benefit of purchasing travel-related products at a discounted price.
[0157] Operation (S530) may include operation (S720) in which the electronic device (110) determines the priority of the plurality of items identified in operation (S710).
[0158] For example, if the electronic device (110) checks multiple contents in operation (S710), the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple contents. The electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple contents based on at least some of the number of plays, number of viewers, number of views, number of reviews, ratings, genre, cast, or user information. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple contents by setting a higher priority as the number of plays increases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple contents by setting a higher priority as the number of viewers aggregated by the number of user accounts increases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple contents by checking the number of views of the detailed pages for each of the multiple contents and setting a higher priority as the number of views increases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple contents by setting a higher priority as the number of reviews increases among the multiple contents. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple contents by assigning a higher priority to a higher evaluation score (e.g., star rating). Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple contents by assigning a higher priority to a specific genre (e.g., drama). Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple contents by assigning a higher priority to content featuring a specific actor. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple contents based on the user's log. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the content being viewed by the user based on content viewing history information in the user information and assign a higher priority to the content being viewed, thereby determining the priority of multiple contents.Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the content being viewed by the user based on the content viewing history information of the user information, and may prioritize the content being viewed and related content (e.g., same genre, same cast) by setting a high priority, thereby determining the priority of multiple contents. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine specific content that the user has marked as a favorite or reserved for viewing based on the content viewing history information of the user information, and may prioritize the specific content by setting a high priority.
[0159] For example, if the electronic device (110) confirms multiple predetermined products in operation (S710), the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple predetermined products. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple predetermined products based on at least some of the sales ranking (sales volume), discount rate, or user log. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple predetermined products by setting a higher priority as the sales volume (sales ranking) increases. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple predetermined products by setting a higher priority as the discount rate increases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of a plurality of predetermined products by checking at least one of item purchase history information, item search history information, or shopping cart addition history information based on the user's log, determining the user's preferred products based on at least some of these, and setting a high priority to a product related to the preferred product among a plurality of predetermined products.
[0160] For example, if the electronic device (110) confirms multiple fresh products in operation (S710), the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple fresh products. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple fresh products based on at least some of the sales registration date, related events (e.g., Christmas, Chuseok), sales ranking (sales volume), discount rate, or user information of the user. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple fresh products by setting a high priority to a product with a later sales registration date. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can determine an event (e.g., a holiday) that is close in time to the time point at which the membership cancellation procedure initiation request (S510) is received from the user terminal (120), and can determine the priorities of the multiple fresh products by setting a high priority to a product related to the event. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of a plurality of fresh products by checking at least one of item purchase history information, item search history information, or shopping cart addition history information based on the user's log, determining fresh products frequently purchased by the user based on at least some of these, and setting a high priority thereto.
[0161] For example, if the electronic device (110) identifies multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities in operation (S710), the electronic device (110) may determine priorities for the multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities. For example, the electronic device (110) may determine priorities for the multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities based on at least some of the remaining time available for purchase, the remaining quantity available for purchase, the sales volume (sales ranking), the discount rate, or the user's log. For example, the electronic device (110) may determine priorities for the multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities by setting a higher priority for the multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities as the time remaining for purchase decreases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine priorities for the multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities as the quantity remaining for purchase decreases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities by assigning a higher priority to products with higher sales volume (sales ranking) than to products with limited purchase times and quantities. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities by assigning a higher priority to products with higher discount rates than to products with limited purchase times and quantities. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of multiple products with limited purchase times and quantities based on the user's log.For example, the electronic device (110) may check at least one of item purchase history information, item search history information, or shopping cart addition history information based on the user's log, and determine the priority of a plurality of products with limited time and quantity for purchase based on at least some of these. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the user's preferred products based on at least some of the item purchase history information, item search history information, or shopping cart addition history information, and set a high priority to a product related to the user's preferred product among the plurality of products with limited time and quantity for purchase, thereby determining the priority of a plurality of products with limited time and quantity for purchase.
[0162] For example, if the electronic device (110) confirms multiple overseas products in operation (S710), the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple overseas products. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple overseas products based on at least some of the sales ranking (sales volume), discount rate, delivery time, or user log. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple overseas products by setting a higher priority as the sales volume (sales ranking) increases. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple overseas products by setting a higher priority as the discount rate increases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple overseas products by setting a higher priority as the delivery time decreases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the priority of a plurality of overseas products by checking at least one of item purchase history information, item search history information, or shopping cart addition history information based on the user's log, determining the user's preferred products based on at least some of these, and setting a high priority to a product related to the user's preferred products among a plurality of overseas products.
[0163] For example, if the electronic device (110) confirms multiple travel-related products in operation (S710), the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple travel-related products. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple travel-related products based on at least some of the following: season information, sales ranking (sales volume), discount rate, or user log. For example, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple travel-related products by setting a high priority to a product corresponding to the season at the time of receiving the membership cancellation procedure initiation request (S510) from the user terminal (120). Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple travel-related products by setting a higher priority as sales volume (sales ranking) increases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) can determine the priorities of the multiple travel-related products by setting a higher priority as discount rate increases. Alternatively, the electronic device (110) may determine the user's preferred products based on at least one of the following: item purchase history information, item search history information, or shopping cart addition history information, based on the user's log; determine the user's preferred products based on at least some of these; and prioritize products related to the user's preferred products among the plurality of travel-related products by setting a high priority. For example, if the user's preferred product is golf clubs, the priority of the plurality of travel-related products may be determined by setting a high priority to a resort accommodation product equipped with a golf course where golf clubs can be used among the plurality of travel-related products.
[0164] Operation (S530) may include operation (S730) in which the electronic device (110) determines one or more items to be displayed on the first page from among the plurality of items based on the priorities of the plurality of items determined in operation (S720). For example, the electronic device (110) may determine K (K is a natural number) benefits, in order from among the plurality of items, to be displayed on the first page, starting with an item with a higher priority.
[0165] Meanwhile, the electronic device (110) may check the benefits the user has used and display usage information, including financial benefits such as the number of times the benefit has been used or the amount saved by using the benefit, on the first page. A detailed description of this will be provided with reference to FIG. 8.
[0166] FIG. 8 is a flowchart illustrating an operation (S800) for determining benefit-specific usage information to be displayed on the first page according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0167] Below, the operations illustrated in Fig. 8 are described in detail.
[0168] The operation (S800) may include an operation (S810) in which the electronic device (110) checks, based on the user's log, one or more second benefits among multiple benefits related to membership that the user has used.
[0169] Operation (S800) may include operation (S820) in which the electronic device (110) determines usage information for each of one or more second benefits identified in operation (S810).
[0170] In one embodiment, the electronic device (110) can verify the number of times each of one or more second benefits has been used. The electronic device (110) can verify the user's benefit usage history based on the user's log, thereby verifying the number of times the user has used the second benefit, and determine the verified number of times the user has used the second benefit as usage information for the second benefit.
[0171] In one embodiment, the electronic device (110) may determine whether one or more of the second benefits include a third benefit corresponding to a monetary benefit. Here, the third benefit refers to a benefit that can produce a monetary benefit, such as a saved amount, and may include a delivery-related benefit, such as free shipping. If one or more of the second benefits include a third benefit corresponding to a monetary benefit, the electronic device (110) may calculate a monetary benefit according to the use of the third benefit based on a monetary benefit calculation standard (savings amount calculation standard) for the third benefit and the number of times the third benefit is used. Here, the monetary benefit calculation standard for the third benefit may refer to an amount saved by using the third benefit. For example, if the third benefit is a benefit that allows free delivery of fresh products, the amount saved by using the third benefit once may be X won. In this case, the monetary benefit calculation standard for the third benefit is X won. Additionally, based on the user's log, the user's benefit usage history may be verified to have used the third benefit Y times. Accordingly, the monetary benefit from using the third benefit may be X·Y won. The electronic device (110) may determine the monetary benefit from using the third benefit as usage information for the third benefit.
[0172] In one embodiment, the electronic device (110) can determine whether one or more of the second benefits include a benefit for viewing content. If one or more of the second benefits include a benefit for viewing content, the electronic device (110) can determine whether the content can be viewed as usage information for the benefit for viewing content.
[0173] Meanwhile, the electronic device (110) may perform operation (S800) of FIG. 8 in response to receiving a request for initiating a membership cancellation procedure from the user terminal (120). In this case, the electronic device (110) may transmit information about the first page, including usage information for each of one or more second benefits determined according to operation (S800), to the user terminal (120).
[0174] Alternatively, operation (S800) of FIG. 8 may be performed as part of method (500) of FIG. 5. In this case, in operation (S540), the electronic device (110) may transmit information about a first page including information about one or more first benefits, information about one or more items corresponding to each of one or more first benefits, and usage information about each of one or more second benefits to the user terminal (120).
[0175] FIG. 9 is a drawing illustrating an example of a first page (900) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0176] The first page (900) of FIG. 9 may be a membership cancellation application page that the electronic device (110) provides to the user terminal (120) in response to a request for initiation of a membership cancellation procedure in FIGS. 5 to 8.
