Description

Information processing method and device

[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the State Intellectual Property Office on July 14, 2023, with application number 202310870655.3 and invention name “A Method and Device for Information Processing”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0002] The present application relates to the field of communications, and in particular to an information processing method and device. Background Art

[0003] Segment routing (SR) is a protocol designed based on source routing for forwarding data packets on a network. An SR policy is a tunnel-based traffic diversion technology based on SR. An SR policy can include a path from a head node to a destination node. This path is calculated by a controller and an SR policy containing this path is issued to the head node. The path included in the SR policy can be represented as a segment list, which can include multiple segment identifiers (SIDs) arranged in an ordered sequence.

[0004] In some scenarios, the head node of the SR policy can be a controller that can assign a binding segment identifier (BSID) for the SR policy. Currently, the head node assigns BSIDs, which is not conducive to network maintenance.

[0005] Therefore, a solution is urgently needed to solve the above problems.

[0006] Summary of the Invention

[0007] The embodiments of the present application provide an information processing method and apparatus, in which a controller specifies a locator used by a head node to allocate a BSID, which is beneficial to network maintenance.

[0008] In the first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides an information processing method that can be applied to a controller. The controller can determine a first SR policy, wherein the first SR policy includes a first segment identifier (SID) of a first network node, the first network node is the head node corresponding to the first SR policy, and the first SID belongs to the network segment corresponding to the first locator of the first network node. The controller can also obtain attribute information of the first locator, the attribute information indicating the first locator, and send the attribute information of the first locator to the first network node, the attribute information of the first locator being used to trigger the first network node to allocate a BSID for the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator. It can be seen that, using this solution, the controller can send attribute information of the locator (i.e., the first locator) of the first network node used for the first SR policy to the head node of the SR policy, so that the first network node allocates a BSID for the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator, so that the controller determines that the locator of the first network node used for the first SR policy is consistent with the locator used by the first network node to allocate the BSID for the first SR policy, which is conducive to network maintenance.

[0009] In the second aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides an information processing method that can be applied to a controller. The controller can determine a first SR policy, wherein the first SR policy includes a first SID of a first network node, the first network node is the head node corresponding to the first SR policy, and the first SID belongs to the network segment corresponding to the first locator of the first network node. The controller can also obtain attribute information of the first locator, the attribute information indicating the first locator, and send the attribute information of the first locator to the first network node, the attribute information of the first locator indicating the conditions that the first network node needs to meet for allocating the locator used for the BSID of the first SR policy. It can be seen that, using this scheme, the controller can send attribute information of the locator (i.e., the first locator) of the first network node used for the first SR policy to the head node of the SR policy, so that the first network node allocates a BSID for the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator according to the attribute information, so that the controller determines that the locator of the first network node used for the first SR policy is consistent with the locator used by the first network node to allocate the BSID for the first SR policy, which is conducive to network maintenance.

[0010] The methods described in the first and second aspects above may have the following possible implementation solutions:

[0011] In one possible implementation, the controller may update the second SR policy when the locator of the first network node evolves to obtain the first SR policy. The head nodes of the first SR policy and the second SR policy are both the first network node. The second SR policy includes the second SID of the first network node, and the second SID belongs to the network segment corresponding to the second locator of the first network node. That is, the locator used to determine the second SR policy is the second locator. In a specific implementation, the controller may receive locator evolution indication information, which indicates that the locator of the first network node has evolved from the second locator to the first locator. After receiving the locator evolution indication information, the controller may update the second SR policy in response to the evolution indication information to obtain the first SR policy. In this scenario, using this solution, the controller can determine that the locator of the first network node used for the first SR policy is consistent with the locator used by the first network node to allocate the BSID for the first SR policy, which is conducive to the recovery of the second locator.

[0012] In one possible implementation, considering that the prefix of the first locator can be used to identify the first locator, based on the prefix of the first locator, the first locator can be determined from multiple locators corresponding to the first network node. Therefore, the attribute information of the first locator can be the prefix of the first locator.

[0013] In one possible implementation, when a network node has multiple locators, the multiple locators may have corresponding priorities. Therefore, when a locator corresponding to a first network node has a priority, the priority of the first locator may be used to identify the first locator. Based on the priority of the first locator, the first locator may be determined from the multiple locators corresponding to the first network node. Therefore, the attribute information of the first locator may be the priority of the first locator.

[0014] In one possible implementation, when a network node has multiple locators, the multiple locators may be associated with flexible algorithms (flex-algos). For example, different locators may be associated with different flexible algorithms. Therefore, when a locator corresponding to a first network node is associated with a flexible algorithm, the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator may be used to identify the first locator. Based on the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator, the first locator may be determined from the multiple locators corresponding to the first network node. Therefore, the attribute information of the first locator may be the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator.

[0015] In one possible implementation, the controller sends the attribute information of the first locator to the first network node. In a specific implementation, a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) SR policy message may be sent to the first network node, where the BGPSR policy message includes the attribute information of the first locator. In this case, the first network node may parse the BGPSR policy message to obtain the attribute information of the first locator, so that the first network node can allocate a BSID for the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0016] In one possible implementation, the BGPSR policy message may include a first type length value (TLV), where the first TLV is used to carry attribute information of the first locator. In this case, the first network node may parse the first TLV in the BGPSR policy message to obtain the attribute information of the first locator.

[0017] In one possible implementation, the controller may send a Path Computing Unit Protocol (PCEP) message to the first network node to transmit the attribute information of the first locator to the first network node. The PCEP message includes the attribute information of the first locator. In this case, the first network node may parse the PCEP message to obtain the attribute information of the first locator, so that the first network node can allocate a BSID for the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0018] In one possible implementation, the PCEP message may include a second TLV that carries attribute information of the first locator. In this case, the first network node may parse the second TLV in the PCEP message to obtain the attribute information of the first locator.

[0019] In one possible implementation, after the first network node allocates the first BSID for the first SR policy in the network segment corresponding to the first locator, the first BSID may be reported to the controller. Accordingly, the controller may receive the first BSID reported by the first network node. Furthermore, the controller may associate the first BSID with the first SR policy. For example, the controller may save the correspondence between the first BSID and the first SR policy.

[0020] In one possible implementation, in addition to sending the first BSID to the controller, the first network node may also send attribute information of the first locator to the controller, so that the controller can verify the first BSID based on the attribute information of the first locator, for example, to verify whether the first BSID belongs to the network segment corresponding to the first locator. Accordingly, in addition to receiving the first BSID sent by the first network node, the controller may also receive the attribute information of the first locator sent by the first network node.

[0021] In one possible implementation, the first network node may send the attribute information of the first BSID and the first locator in the same message to the controller. For example, the first network node may send a BGP link state (LS) message to the controller, where the BGP LS message includes the attribute information of the first BSID and the first locator. In this case, the controller can obtain the attribute information of the first BSID and the first locator through the BGP LS message.

[0022] In one possible implementation, the first locator is determined by the controller. In a specific example, after determining the first SR policy, the controller may further determine the locator to which the first SID belongs, that is, determine the first locator based on the first SID. In another specific example, before determining the first SR policy, the controller may determine the first locator for determining the first SR policy from at least one locator of the first network node, and further determine the first SR policy using the first SID in the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0023] In a third aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides an information processing method that can be applied to a first network node, where the first network node is the head node corresponding to a first SR policy. The first SR policy includes a first SID of the first network node, the first SID belongs to the network segment corresponding to the first locator, and the first locator is the locator of the first network node. The first network node can receive attribute information of the first locator sent by the controller, where the attribute information indicates the first locator, and the attribute information of the first locator is used to trigger the first network node to allocate a BSID for the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator. After the first network node receives the attribute information of the first locator sent by the controller, it can allocate the first BSID belonging to the network segment to the first SR policy based on the attribute information of the first locator. It can be seen that, using this scheme, the controller can send attribute information of the locator (i.e., the first locator) of the first network node used by the first SR policy to the head node of the SR policy, so that the first network node allocates a BSID for the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator, so that the controller determines that the locator of the first network node used by the first SR policy is consistent with the locator used by the first network node to allocate the BSID for the first SR policy, which is conducive to network maintenance.

[0024] In a fourth aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides an information processing method that can be applied to a first network node, where the first network node is the head node corresponding to a first SR policy. The first SR policy includes a first SID of the first network node, the first SID belongs to the network segment corresponding to the first locator, and the first locator is the locator of the first network node. The first network node can receive attribute information of the first locator sent by the controller, where the attribute information indicates the first locator, and the attribute information of the first locator indicates the conditions that the first network node needs to meet for the locator used to allocate the BSID for the first SR policy. After the first network node receives the attribute information of the first locator sent by the controller, it can allocate the first BSID for the first SR policy from the network segment according to the attribute information of the first locator.

[0025] The methods described in the third and fourth aspects above may have the following possible implementation solutions:

[0026] In a possible implementation, the attribute information of the first locator includes: a prefix of the first locator, a priority of the first locator, or a flexible algorithm associated with the first locator.

[0027] In a possible implementation, the receiving the attribute information of the first locator sent by the controller includes: receiving a Border Gateway Protocol BGPSR policy message sent by the controller, where the BGPSR policy message includes the attribute information of the first locator.

[0029] In a possible implementation, the receiving the attribute information of the first locator sent by the controller includes: receiving a Path Computation Protocol (PCEP) message sent by the controller, where the PCEP message includes the attribute information of the first locator.

[0030] In a possible implementation, the PCEP message includes a second TLV, where the second TLV carries attribute information of the first locator.

[0031] In a possible implementation, if the attribute information of the first locator is the prefix of the first locator, the first network node may determine the first locator based on the prefix, and further allocate a first BSID to the first SR policy in the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0032] In one possible implementation, if the attribute information of the first locator is the priority of the first locator, the first network node can determine the first locator from the multiple locators corresponding to the first network node based on the priority of the first locator. For example, the first network node can locally store a first mapping relationship between multiple locators of the first network node and the priorities corresponding to each locator. The first network node can query the first mapping relationship based on the priority of the first locator to obtain the mapping relationship between the first locator and the priority of the first locator, and further determine the first locator based on the mapping relationship between the first locator and the priority of the first locator. After the first network node determines the first locator, it can further allocate a first BSID to the first SR policy in the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0033] In one possible implementation, if the attribute information of the first locator is the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator, the first network node can determine the first locator from the multiple locators corresponding to the first network node based on the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator. For example, the first network node can locally store a second mapping relationship between multiple locators of the first network node and the flexible algorithms associated with each locator. The first network node can query the second mapping relationship based on the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator as an index, thereby obtaining the mapping relationship between the first locator and the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator, and further determine the first locator based on the mapping relationship between the first locator and the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator. After the first network node determines the first locator, it can further allocate a first BSID to the first SR policy in the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0034] In a possible implementation manner, the method further includes: sending the first BSID to the controller.

[0079] The embodiments of the present application provide an information processing method and apparatus, in which a controller specifies a locator used by a head node to allocate a BSID, which is beneficial to network maintenance.

[0080] For ease of understanding, the possible application scenarios of the embodiments of the present application are first introduced.

[0081] See Figure 1, which is a schematic diagram of an exemplary application scenario provided in an embodiment of the present application.

[0082] As shown in Figure 1, customer edge devices (CE) 1 and CE2 can communicate through network domains 100 and 200. Network domain 100 includes provider edge device (PE) 1, provider backbone devices (P) 1, P2, P4, and P5. Network domain 200 includes P2, P3, P5, and PE2 and PE3. P2 and P5 are cross-domain nodes within network domain 100 and network domain 200.

[0083] In an example, the controller may calculate the SR policy and send the SR policy to the head node of the SR policy, and the head node may allocate a BSID for the SR policy.

[0084] For example, the controller can calculate SR policy 1 with P2 as the head node and send it to P2, which then assigns BSID 1 to it. After assigning BSID 1 to SR policy 1, P2 can report it to the controller. In one example, the controller can determine, based on BSID 1, an end-to-end SR policy 2 with PE1 as the head node and spanning network domains 100 and 200.

[0085] To illustrate, the controller can calculate SR policy 3 with PE1 as the head node and send it to PE1, which then assigns BSID 2 to it. After PE1 assigns BSID 2 to SR policy 3, it can report BSID 2 to the controller. In one example, the controller can manage SR policy 3 based on BSID 2, for example, by associating it with a corresponding path management policy. The SR policy 3 mentioned here can span network domains 100 and 200, or it can be an SR policy within network domain 100.

[0086] In an embodiment of the present application, the SR policy may include a segment list, the segment list includes at least one SID, and the segment list includes the SID of the head node, that is, the SID of the head node is one of the at least one SID included in the segment list. The SID of the head node may be allocated from the locator corresponding to the head node. Currently, in some scenarios, a network node can be configured with multiple locators. When the network node as the head node allocates a BSID for the SR policy, it can randomly determine the target locator from the multiple locators corresponding to itself, and allocate a BSID for the SR policy from the target locator. However, using this method, there may be a situation where the target locator used to allocate the BSID is inconsistent with the locator used to determine the SR policy, which is not conducive to network maintenance. Among them, the locator used to determine the SR policy refers to the locator to which the SID used to determine the SR policy belongs.

[0087] The following example is given in conjunction with the scenario shown in Figure 1:

[0088] Assume that PE1 includes locator1 and locator2, SID1 belongs to locator1, the controller determines that the head node of SR policy4 is PE1, and SR policy4 includes SID1. When allocating a BSID for SR policy4, PE1 allocates BSID3 from the network segment corresponding to locator2. However, this approach is not conducive to network maintenance. For example, in the scenario where locator2 evolves to locator1, the controller reuses SID1 belonging to locator1 to calculate SR policy4. However, the network nodes still allocate BSID3 from the network segment corresponding to locator2 for SR policy4, resulting in locator2 being unable to be reclaimed.

[0089] In order to solve the above problems, the embodiments of the present application provide an information processing method and device. Next, the information processing method and device provided by the embodiments of the present application are introduced.

[0090] Referring to Figure 2, which is a signaling interaction diagram of an information processing method provided by an embodiment of the present application, the method shown in Figure 2 may include the following steps S101-S105.

[0091] S101: A controller determines a first SR policy, where the first SR policy includes a first SID of a first network node, the first network node is a head node corresponding to the first SR policy, and the first SID belongs to a network segment corresponding to a first locator of the first network node.

[0092] In one example, the controller may calculate a first SR policy based on the collected network topology information. When calculating the SR policy, the controller may select a first SID to participate in the calculation of the first SR policy. Accordingly, the calculated first SR policy includes the first SID.

[0093] In an example, the controller may calculate the first SR policy for the service during the service deployment phase.

[0094] In yet another example, the controller may update the SR policy obtained through historical calculation in real time according to changes in the network topology, thereby obtaining the first SR policy.

[0095] In another example, the controller may update the second SR policy when the locator of the first network node evolves to obtain the first SR policy. In a specific implementation, the controller may receive locator evolution indication information, which indicates that the locator of the first network node evolves from the second locator to the first locator. After receiving the locator evolution indication information, the controller may update the second SR policy in response to the evolution indication information to obtain the first SR policy. Wherein: the second SR policy includes the second SID of the first network node, and the second SID belongs to the network segment corresponding to the second locator. That is, the locator used to determine the second SR policy is the second locator.

[0096] In the embodiment of the present application, the head nodes of the first SR policy and the second SR policy are both the first network node. The paths indicated by the first SR policy and the second SR policy may be the same or different, which is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0097] The embodiments of the present application do not specifically limit the specific implementation method of the controller receiving the locator evolution indication information. In one example, the locator evolution indication information may be sent to the controller by the first network node. In another example, the locator evolution indication information may also be a name entered by the user on the controller.

[0098] S102: The controller obtains attribute information of the first locator, where the attribute information indicates the first locator.

[0099] In one example, after determining the first SR policy, the controller may further determine the locator to which the first SID belongs, that is, determine the first locator based on the first SID. In a specific example, the controller may determine the first locator to which the first SID belongs based on pre-collected information about at least one locator of the first network node.

[0100] In another example, the controller may also determine a first locator for determining the first SR policy from at least one locator of the first network node before determining the first SR policy, and further determine the first SR policy using the first SID in the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0101] In one example, after determining the first SR policy and the first locator, the controller may further obtain attribute information of the first locator. The attribute information can identify the first locator, or the attribute information can be used to determine the first locator from multiple locators corresponding to the first network node.

[0102] In one example, considering that the prefix of the first locator can be used to identify the first locator, based on the prefix of the first locator, the first locator can be determined from multiple locators corresponding to the first network node. Therefore, the attribute information of the first locator can be the prefix of the first locator.

[0103] Regarding the locator prefix, it should be noted that SR based on the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) data plane is called Segment Routing Internet Protocol Version 6 (SRv6). SRv6 uses a 128-bit IPv6 address as a SID. The SID format consists of five parts: address block, node ID, function ID, arguments, and padding. Among them:

[0104] Block: The address block used to allocate SRv6 SIDs, also known as the common prefix of SRv6 SIDs.

[0105] Node ID: An ID used to describe a network node.

[0106] Function ID: used to describe the local function ID of the node, which is used to map to the local segment endpoint behavior.

[0107] arguments: used to describe function-related parameters. Currently, arguments are not used in most cases and can be set to 0.

[0108] Padding: If the total length of the above parts does not reach 128 bits, multiple zeros are added to ensure that the entire field length is 128 bits.

[0109] The block + node ID form a routable locator. A locator itself is an IPv6 network segment, and all IPv6 addresses within this segment can be assigned as SRv6 SIDs. After a network node is configured with a locator, a locator segment route is generated. Other network nodes can locate this node using the locator segment route. All SIDs advertised by this node can also be reached through this locator segment route.

[0110] In another example, when a network node has multiple locators, the multiple locators may have corresponding priorities, so that the locators can be managed and maintained based on their priorities. Therefore, when a locator corresponding to a first network node has a priority, the priority of the first locator can be used to identify the first locator. Based on the priority of the first locator, the first locator can be determined from the multiple locators corresponding to the first network node. Therefore, the attribute information of the first locator can be the priority of the first locator.

[0111] In another example, when a network node has multiple locators, the multiple locators can be associated with flexible algorithms. For example, different locators can be associated with different flexible algorithms. Therefore, when a locator corresponding to a first network node is associated with a flexible algorithm, the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator can be used to identify the first locator. Based on the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator, the first locator can be determined from the multiple locators corresponding to the first network node. Therefore, the attribute information of the first locator can be the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator.

[0112] S103: The controller sends the attribute information of the first locator to the first network node.

[0113] After obtaining the attribute information of the first locator, the controller may send the attribute information of the first locator to the first network node.

[0114] In one example, the controller may send a BGPSR policy message to the first network node, and the BGPSR policy message includes attribute information of the first locator. In a specific example, in addition to the attribute information of the first locator, the BGPSR policy message may also include the first SR policy. In this case, the attribute information of the first SR policy and the first locator may be sent to the first network node through the BGPSR policy message. In this case, in an example, the BGPSR policy message may include a tunnel encapsulation attribute, and the tunnel encapsulation attribute includes attribute information of the first SR policy and the first locator.

[0115] In an example, the attribute information of the first locator may be carried through an available field (eg, a reserved field) in the BGPSR policy message.

[0116] In another example, the BGPSR policy message may include a first TLV that carries attribute information of the first locator. For example, the tunnel encapsulation attribute includes the first TLV. In this case, the first network node may parse the first TLV to obtain the attribute information of the first locator.

[0117] When the attribute information of the first locator is the prefix of the first locator, the structure of the first TLV can be as shown in Figure 3a, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of a first TLV provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 3a, the first TLV includes: a type field, a length field, an attribute information type field, a locator length (loc-size) field, and a locator field. Among them:

[0118] The type field indicates that the first TLV is used to carry attribute information of the locator.

[0119] The length field indicates the length of the value field (including the loc-size field and the locator field) of the first TLV.

[0120] The attribute information type field is used to indicate the type of attribute information carried, where the type of attribute information includes: prefix, priority, or associated flexible algorithm.

[0121] The loc-size field indicates the length of the first locator in bits, ranging from 1 to 128.

[0122] The locator field is used to carry the prefix of the first locator.

[0123] When the attribute information of the first locator is the priority of the first locator, the structure of the first TLV can be as shown in Figure 3b, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of another first TLV provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 3b, the first TLV includes: a type field, a length field, an attribute information type field, and a preference field. Among them:

[0124] The preference field is used to carry the priority of the first locator.

[0125] Regarding the type field, length field and attribute information type field, please refer to the above description of Figure 3a, and no repeated description will be given here.

[0126] When the attribute information of the first locator is a flexible algorithm associated with the first locator, the structure of the first TLV can be as shown in Figure 3c, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of another first TLV provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 3c, the first TLV includes: a type field, a length field, an attribute information type field, and a flexible algorithm (flex-algo) field. Among them:

[0127] The flex-algo field is used to carry the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator.

[0128] Regarding the type field, length field and attribute information type field, please refer to the above description of Figure 3a, and no repeated description will be given here.

[0129] In one example, the controller may send a PCEP message to the first network node, where the PCEP message includes attribute information of the first locator. In a specific example, in addition to the attribute information of the first locator, the PCEP message may also include the first SR policy. In this case, both the first SR policy and the attribute information of the first locator may be sent to the first network node through the PCEP message.

[0130] In an example, the attribute information of the first locator may be carried through an available field (eg, a reserved field) in the PCEP message.

[0131] In another example, the PCEP message may include a second TLV, where the second TLV is used to carry attribute information of the first locator. In this case, the first network node may parse the second TLV to obtain the attribute information of the first locator.

[0132] When the attribute information of the first locator is the prefix of the first locator, the structure of the second TLV can be as shown in Figure 3d, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of a second TLV provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 3d, the second TLV includes: a type field, a length field, an attribute information type field, a locator length (loc-size) field, a must be zero (MBZ) field, and a locator field. The format of the second TLV shown in Figure 3d is basically the same as the fields included in the first TLV shown in Figure 3a, except that the second TLV shown in Figure 3d also includes an MBZ field. Therefore, for the various fields of the second TLV shown in Figure 3d, please refer to the previous description of Figure 3a, and no repeated description will be made here.

[0133] When the attribute information of the first locator is the priority of the first locator, the structure of the second TLV can be as shown in Figure 3e, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of another second TLV provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 3e, the second TLV includes: a type field, a length field, an attribute information type field, a preference field, and an MBZ field.

[0134] The format of the second TLV shown in Figure 3e is basically the same as the fields included in the first TLV shown in Figure 3b. The difference is that the second TLV shown in Figure 3e also includes an MBZ field. Therefore, for the various fields of the second TLV shown in Figure 3e, please refer to the description of Figure 3b above, and no repeated description will be given here.

[0135] When the attribute information of the first locator is the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator, the structure of the second TLV can be as shown in Figure 3f, which is a structural diagram of another second TLV provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 3f, the second TLV includes: a type field, a length field, an attribute information type field, a flex-algo field, and an MBZ field. The format of the second TLV shown in Figure 3f is basically the same as the fields included in the first TLV shown in Figure 3c, except that the second TLV shown in Figure 3f also includes an MBZ field. Therefore, for the various fields of the second TLV shown in Figure 3f, please refer to the previous description of Figure 3c, and no repeated description will be made here.

[0136] In one example, the controller may send a PCEP message to the first network node, where the PCEP message includes attribute information of the first locator. In a specific example, in addition to the attribute information of the first locator, the PCEP message may also include the first SR policy. In this case, both the first SR policy and the attribute information of the first locator may be sent to the first network node through the PCEP message.

[0137] S104: The first network node receives attribute information of the first locator sent by the controller.

[0138] S105: The first network node allocates a first BSID belonging to the network segment corresponding to the first locator to the first SR policy according to the attribute information of the first locator.

[0139] After the controller sends the attribute information of the first locator to the first network node, the first network node may receive the attribute information of the first locator sent by the controller.

[0140] In one example, the attribute information of the first locator is used to trigger the first network node to allocate a binding segment identifier BSID to the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator. In another example, the attribute information of the first locator indicates the conditions that the first network node must meet for allocating the locator used to use the BSID for the first SR policy. After receiving the attribute information of the first locator, the first network node can allocate a first BSID belonging to the network segment to the first SR policy based on the attribute information of the first locator.

[0141] In an example, the first network node may determine the first locator according to the attribute information of the first locator, and further allocate a first BSID to the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0142] In a specific example, if the attribute information of the first locator is the prefix of the first locator, the first network node can determine the first locator based on the prefix. For example, the first network node can match the received prefix with the prefixes of multiple locators corresponding to itself, thereby determining the first locator that matches the received prefix.

[0143] In another specific example, if the attribute information of the first locator is the priority of the first locator, the first network node may determine the first locator from the multiple locators corresponding to the first network node based on the priority of the first locator. For example, the first network node may locally store a first mapping relationship between multiple locators of the first network node and the priorities corresponding to each locator. The first network node may query the first mapping relationship based on the priority of the first locator as an index, thereby obtaining a mapping relationship between the first locator and the priority of the first locator, and further determine the first locator based on the mapping relationship between the first locator and the priority of the first locator.

[0144] In another specific example, if the attribute information of the first locator is the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator, the first network node can determine the first locator from the multiple locators corresponding to the first network node based on the flexible algorithm associated with the first locator.

[0145] It can be seen from the above description that, by utilizing the solution of the embodiment of the present application, the controller can send attribute information of the locator of the first network node (i.e., the first locator) used by the first SR policy to the head node of the SR policy, so that the first network node allocates a BSID to the first SR policy from the network segment corresponding to the first locator, so that the locator of the first network node used by the controller to determine the first SR policy is consistent with the locator used by the first network node to allocate the BSID for the first SR policy, which is beneficial to network maintenance. For example, in a scenario where the second locator of the first network node evolves to the first locator, the controller determines the first SR policy based on the evolved first locator, and the first network node allocates a BSID to the first SR policy based on the first locator, which is beneficial to the recovery of the second locator.

[0146] In one example, after the first network node allocates the first BSID to the first SR policy, it may send the first BSID to the controller so that the controller can associate the first BSID with the first SR policy. In another example, the first network node may send the first BSID to the controller via a BGP LS message. Regarding the location where the first BSID is carried in the BGP LS message, for example, conventional techniques may be used and are not described in detail here.

[0147] In one example, in addition to sending the first BSID to the controller, the first network node may also send attribute information of the first locator to the controller, so that the controller can verify the first BSID based on the attribute information of the first locator, for example, verify whether the first BSID belongs to the network segment corresponding to the first locator.

[0148] In one specific example, the attribute information of the first BSID and the first locator can be located in the same BGP LS message. In this way, the attribute information of the first BSID and the first locator can be reported to the controller through the same BGP LS message. In another specific example, the attribute information of the first BSID and the first locator can also be carried in different BGP LS messages, which is not specifically limited in this embodiment of the present application.

[0149] In one example, the attribute information of the first locator can be carried by a third TLV field in a BGP LS message. The structure of the third TLV field can be the same as that of the second TLV or the first TLV. For related content, please refer to the description of the first TLV or the second TLV above.

[0150] The above introduces the information processing method provided in the embodiment of the present application. Next, in combination with the network architecture shown in Figure 1, a specific application scenario of the information processing method provided in the embodiment of the present application is introduced.

[0151] 1. Deploy new locators on PE1, P1, P2, and PE2.

[0152] 2. PE1, P1, P2, and PE2 publish new SIDs under the new locator. The controller obtains the new SIDs published by PE1, P1, P2, and PE2 under the new locator.

[0153] 3. The controller recalculates the SR policy using the new locator.

[0154] 4. Send the recalculated SR Policy adhesion path and P2's new locator attribute information to the cross-domain node P2;

[0155] 5. After receiving the new SR Policy, the adhesion node allocates BSID4 for the new SR Policy in the network segment corresponding to the new locator of P2 according to the attribute information of the new locator specified by the controller, and reports the allocated BSID4 to the controller through BGP-LS.
