Abstract
Description
Sunscreen cosmetics
[0001] The present invention relates to a sunscreen cosmetic.
[0002] Sunscreen cosmetics contain ultraviolet absorbers and ultraviolet scattering agents to achieve high ultraviolet protection. In particular, sunscreen cosmetics for people who spend time outdoors are required to have a high SPF value, which is an index of protection against sunburn caused primarily by UVB, and a high PA value (also known as UVAPF value), which is an index of protection against UVA. Ethylhexyl triazone and bisethylhexyloxyphenol methoxytriazine are used as ultraviolet absorbers that provide these ultraviolet protection effects (Patent Document 1). However, because these excellent ultraviolet absorbers are solid at room temperature, it has been necessary to incorporate a large amount of liquid oil into liquid sunscreen cosmetics in order to stably incorporate them (Patent Document 1).

In double-structure containers, it is preferable that the inner bag is filled with the composition, which is an aerosol concentrate, and a propellant is filled between the pressure-resistant container and the inner bag.
[0028] The method for preparing the aerosol formulation is not particularly limited. For example, the aerosol formulation can be prepared by filling the aerosol container with the composition as an aerosol concentrate, attaching a valve, and then filling the propellant through the valve.
[0029] Furthermore, a formulation obtained by filling the composition into a pump spray container is also called a pump spray formulation. For example, a pump spray formulation is prepared by mixing all components except ethanol and dissolving them by heating at 80°C. Once dissolution is confirmed, the mixture is cooled to room temperature and then mixed with ethanol to obtain a concentrate. The concentrate obtained is then filled into a pump spray container.
[0030] Another aspect of the present invention is a method for using a sunscreen cosmetic, in which the composition is ejected from a spray container in the form of droplets or a mist and applied to the skin. By using the cosmetic of the present invention in this manner, excellent UV protection effects are obtained, the feel upon application is good, and crystal precipitation of the water-insoluble UV absorber that is solid at 25°C is suppressed.

[0033] [Production of Sunscreen Cosmetics] All of the ingredients listed in Tables 1 to 3, except for ethanol, were mixed and dissolved by heating at 80°C. Once dissolution was confirmed, the mixture was cooled to room temperature and ethanol was mixed in to obtain a stock solution. The obtained stock solution was filled into a pump spray container to produce a sunscreen cosmetic.
[0034] [Evaluation of Sunscreen Cosmetics] The pump spray sunscreen cosmetics or their concentrates obtained above were evaluated for (1) UV protection effect, (2) effect of inhibiting crystal precipitation of components (A1) and (A2), (3) stickiness, and (4) feel immediately after application. The results obtained are shown in Tables 1 to 3.
[0035] (1) UV protection effect The composition (undiluted solution) was applied at a concentration of 2 mg / cm 2The solution was applied to a PMMA plate and the in vitro SPF was measured using an SPF analyzer. A: In vitro SPF 30 or more B: In vitro SPF 20 or more and less than 30 C: In vitro SPF 10 or more and less than 20 D: In vitro SPF 10 or less
[0036] (2) Crystal precipitation suppression effect The crystal precipitation of the composition (undiluted solution) was evaluated when stored at −5° C. A: No crystal precipitation after 6 months of storage B: No crystal precipitation after 2 weeks of storage C: Slight crystal precipitation after 2 weeks of storage D: Crystal precipitation after 2 weeks of storage
[0037] (3) Stickiness The composition (undiluted) was filled into a pump spray container. Five expert panelists sprayed 0.4 g onto one arm, and the stickiness immediately after application was evaluated based on the following criteria, and the five panelists totaled their scores. 1 point: Sticky 2 points: Slightly sticky 3 points: Not very sticky 4 points: Not sticky at all (Evaluation of total scores) A: Total score is 15 points or more B: Total score is 10 points or more but less than 15 points C: Total score is 5 points or more but less than 10 points D: Total score is less than 5 points
[0038] (4) Cooling sensation The composition (undiluted) was filled into a pump spray container. Five expert panelists sprayed 0.4 g onto one arm, and the cooling sensation immediately after application was evaluated based on the following criteria, and the five panelists gave a total score of 1 point: not cooling at all 2 points: not cooling 3 points: cooling 4 points: very cooling (Evaluation of total score) A: total score of 15 points or more B: total score of 10 points or more but less than 15 points C: total score of 5 points or more but less than 10 points D: total score of less than 5 points
