Abstract
Description
Information processing device and information processing method
[0001] The present invention relates to an information processing device and an information processing method.
[0002] There are known information processing devices that recommend facilities to a user. For example, the information processing device disclosed in Patent Literature 1 identifies facilities corresponding to user attributes including the user's needs, preferences, or characteristics, acquires a travel history including visited points associated with past travels of at least one of the user and another device used by the user, and outputs to the user information on unvisited facilities among the identified facilities that are located at points other than the visited points in the travel history.
[0003] JP 2020-134953 A
[0004] The information processing device of Patent Document 1 does not consider the ease of travel between multiple facilities when the user has not yet visited them. A user who wants to go to multiple places after leaving home lacks information to decide whether to go out. Therefore, the present invention aims to recommend multiple facilities that are easy to travel to for a user who vaguely wants to go to multiple places after leaving home.
[0005] The information processing device of the present invention is characterized by comprising: a user request input unit that receives information specifying a first facility that a user wishes to visit; and a search unit that extracts an end point or a starting point when the first facility is the start point or the end point from OD information that indicates past people flow between the start point and the end point, and extracts a second facility located at the extracted end point or the starting point. Other means will be described in the description of the embodiment of the invention.
[0006] According to the present invention, it is possible to recommend a plurality of facilities that are easy to get to for a user who vaguely wants to go to a plurality of places after leaving home.

[0008] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The following describes embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. The embodiments are merely examples for realizing the present invention and do not limit the technical scope of the present invention.
[0009] (Terminology) A user is an individual who resides in a region and is also a passenger on transportation within the region (railroads, route buses, etc.). The user is also a beneficiary of the services provided by the information processing device 101. A facility is a location where a user can stop by when going out to the region, and is a concept that includes, for example, train stations, route bus stops, commercial facilities such as shopping centers, entertainment facilities such as parks, amusement parks, and hot springs, and eating and drinking facilities such as restaurants. Among the facilities, train stations and route bus stops are also called "station facilities," and can be the "origin" and "destination" in the intra-region OD information 211.
[0010] 1 shows an example of the configuration of an information processing system 100. The information processing system 100 includes an information processing device 101, a user terminal device 103, a facility information server 104, and a telecommunications carrier server 105. These devices can communicate with each other via a wired or wireless network 102.
[0011] The user terminal device 103 is a portable computer or smartphone operated by a user. The facility information server 104 is a computer that manages information on local facilities. The facility information server 104 receives facility information 212 (described below) from commercial facilities, etc., and receives local OD information 211 (described below) from railway operators, etc. The information processing device 101 receives the facility information 212 and local OD information 211 from the facility information server 104. The telecommunications carrier server 105 is a computer with which a telecommunications carrier manages user movement information. The telecommunications carrier server 105 receives movement information 213 (described below) from the user terminal device 103. The information processing device 101 receives the movement information 213 from the telecommunications carrier server 105.
[0012] (Configuration example of information processing device) Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing a hardware configuration example of the information processing device 101. The information processing device 101 includes a processor 201, a storage device 202, an input device 203, an output device 204, and a communication interface 205. These can communicate with each other via a bus 206. The number of these components is arbitrary. For example, the information processing device 101 may include multiple processors 201 and multiple storage devices 202. The storage device 202 may be configured independent of the information processing device 101.
[0013] The processor 201 controls the information processing device 101. The processor 201 executes programs. The storage device 202 serves as a working area for the processor 201. The storage device 202 includes a non-transitory storage medium that stores various programs and data executed by the processor 201. The storage device 202 is, for example, a read-only memory (ROM), a random access memory (RAM), a hard disk drive (HDD), a flash memory, or the like.
[0014] The input device 203 accepts data input by the user. Examples of the input device 203 include a keyboard, a mouse, a touch panel, a numeric keypad, and a scanner. The output device 204 outputs data. Examples of the output device 204 include a display and a printer. The communication interface 205 transmits and receives data via the network 102.
[0015] 3 is a block diagram showing an example of the logical configuration of the information processing device 101. The information processing device 101 includes a user request input unit 301, a facility extraction unit 302, a narrowing-down condition extraction unit 303, a search unit 304, a facility information acquisition unit 305, a ranking condition extraction unit 306, a ranking setting unit 307, a screen generation unit 308, a screen output unit 309, and a database 210.
[0016] The database 210 stores in-region Origin Destination (OD) information 211, facility information 212, and travel information 213. Each of the units 301 to 309 is a program, and can be implemented by the processor 201 that operates in accordance with the program. The database 210 is stored in the storage medium of the storage device 202. The operation of each of the units 301 to 309 will be described later.
[0017] 4 is an example of the movement information 213. In the movement information 213, a date and time is stored in a date and time column 402 and a location is stored in a location column 403 in association with a terminal ID (Identifier) stored in a terminal ID column 401.
[0018] The terminal ID in the terminal ID column 401 is an identifier that uniquely identifies the user terminal device 103. When one user operates one user terminal device 103, the terminal ID is synonymous with the user ID that uniquely identifies the user. The date and time in the date and time column 402 is the year, month, day, hour, minute, and second at which the position of the user terminal device 103 was measured. The position in the location column 403 is the latitude and longitude of the location where the user terminal device 103 is located. The user terminal device 103 measures its own position by receiving radio waves from multiple communication satellites, and with the user's consent, transmits its own position to the telecommunications carrier server 105 via the network 102. "#" is an abbreviation for a different numerical value.
[0019] 4, the movement information 213 stores attributes such as user preferences, age group, and place of residence in association with the terminal ID. This information is used to narrow down the records of the local OD information 211 (details will be described later).
[0020] 5 is an example of the facility information 212. In the facility information 212, a location is stored in a location field 502, an address is stored in an address field 503, a type of business is stored in an industry field 504, and a keyword is stored in a keyword field 505 in association with a facility ID stored in a facility ID field 501.
[0021] The facility ID in the facility ID column 501 is an identifier that uniquely identifies a facility. Here, facilities include station facilities. Hereinafter, a facility ID that identifies a station facility will also be referred to as a "station facility ID." The location in the location column 502 is the latitude and longitude of the location where the facility is located. The latitude and longitude are often the latitude and longitude of the center of the facility's area. The address in the address column 503 is the address of the facility. The industry in the industry column 504 is the industry of the facility. The keyword in the keyword column 505 is an arbitrary character string that represents the characteristics, type, etc. of the facility. "..." indicates a different character string as an abbreviation.
[0022] 6 is an example of the intra-area OD information 211. In the intra-area OD information 211, an origin stored in a start point field 601 is associated with a destination in a destination field 602, a terminal ID in a terminal ID field 603, a departure date and time in a departure date and time field 604, an arrival date and time in an arrival date and time field 605, a day of the week in a day of the week field 606, and weather in a weather field 607.
[0023] The starting point in the starting point column 601 is the station facility from which the user departed (boarded). The station facility ID of that station facility is stored in this column. Cases where the starting point is not a station facility will be described later. The starting point in the end point column 602 is the station facility from which the user arrived (disembarked). The station facility ID of that station facility is stored in this column. Cases where the end point is not a station facility will be described later. The terminal ID in the terminal ID column 603 is an identifier that uniquely identifies the user terminal device 103 carried by the user who departed from the starting point and arrived at the end point. However, the terminal ID here cannot identify the user's personal information (such as name).
[0024] The departure date and time in the departure date and time field 604 is the year, month, day, hour, minute, and minute when the user departs from the starting point. The arrival date and time in the arrival date and time field 605 is the year, month, day, hour, minute, and minute when the user arrives at the destination point. The day of the week in the day of the week field 606 is the day of the departure date. The weather in the weather field 607 is the weather information for the departure date.
[0025] The intra-area OD information 211 is typically obtained from a railway operator or the like. However, the starting point and / or the end point may not be a station facility. The intra-area OD information 211 may also indicate, for example, the flow of people from store A as the starting point to store B as the end point. In any case, as is clear from the above, the intra-area OD information 211 indicates the past flow of people between the starting point and the end point.
[0026] 7 is a flowchart of the processing procedure. In step S701, the user request input unit 301 acquires a user request from the user terminal device 103. The user request is information that identifies a first facility that the user desires (requests) to visit, and includes a facility information presentation request, a filtering condition, and a ranking condition.
[0027] A facility information presentation request is an instruction from a user to the information processing device 101 requesting information about the facility. In the facility information presentation request, the user may specify a specific facility that the user wishes to visit (for example, a proper noun such as "Tokyo XX Amusement Park"). The specific facility specified by the user is called a "designated facility," and the facility ID is called a "designated facility ID." In the facility information presentation request, the user may specify a preference condition for a facility that the user wishes to visit (for example, "has a roller coaster") without specifying a specific facility.
[0028] The narrowing-down conditions are conditions that limit the attributes of other users who are presumed to have visited the candidate facilities in the past in order to narrow down the candidates for other facilities that the user should visit (details will be described later). The user inputs the narrowing-down conditions via a narrowing-down condition setting screen 800 ( FIG. 8 ) displayed on the user terminal device 103.
[0029] The ranking conditions are conditions for ranking candidates for other facilities that the user should visit in order to narrow down the candidates. The user inputs the ranking conditions via a ranking condition setting screen 900 (FIG. 9) displayed on the user terminal device 103. Although we are still in the middle of FIG. 7, the explanation will now move on to FIGS. 8 and 9.
[0030] 8 is an example of a filtering condition setting screen 800. The filtering condition setting screen 800 has the following options for the attributes of other users: Users with similar tastes to the user's own tastes (field 801) Users in a specified age range based on the user's own age (field 802) Users within a specific range from the user's place of residence (field 803) Users who have visited a facility during a specified period in the recent past (field 804) Users whose past behavior overlaps with the user's own behavior (field 805) The user enters a check mark in the corresponding checkbox and a number in the corresponding blank field.
[0031] 9 is an example of a ranking condition setting screen 900. The ranking condition setting screen 900 has the following options for ranking candidates, for example: - Rank facilities that are in a different industry from the main facility (described in detail later) higher (field 901) - Rank facilities that have a history of payments higher (field 902) - Rank facilities where the user has spent the longest time higher (field 903) The user enters a check mark in the corresponding check box. Refer back to FIG. 7 for further explanation.
[0032] In step S702, the facility extraction unit 302 extracts facilities from the user request. If the facility information presentation request includes a designated facility, the facility extraction unit 302 acquires the designated facility ID.
[0033] When a facility information presentation request includes a preference condition related to a facility, the facility extraction unit 302 searches the keyword field 505 of the facility information 212 using the preference condition as a search key and extracts all facility IDs of matching records. In many cases, multiple facility IDs are extracted. The facility extraction unit 302 ranks the extracted multiple facilities according to arbitrary conditions set by the information processing device 101 and obtains the facility ID of the facility with the highest rank.
[0034] The facility ID acquired here is called a "preference-matching facility ID," and the facility is called a "preference-matching facility." Note that the "first facility" corresponds to the designated facility and the preference-matching facility. The aforementioned "main facility" refers to the designated facility or the preference-matching facility. Furthermore, the "other" in "other facilities to visit" refers to "facilities other than the designated facility or the preference-matching facility (not imagined by the user)."
[0035] In step S703, the narrowing-down condition extraction unit 303 extracts narrowing-down conditions from the user request. Examples of the narrowing-down conditions are the conditions shown in FIG.
[0036] In step S704, the search unit 304 acquires records of the local OD information 211. Specifically, first, the search unit 304 acquires the following information from the user terminal device 103, or acquires the following information by itself: Current date and time (including a certain range before and after) Day of the week (whether it is a weekday or a holiday) Weather at the location of the user terminal device 103
[0037] Second, the search unit 304 searches the local OD information 211 using the "current date and time," "day of the week," and "weather" acquired in "first" of step S704 as search keys, and acquires all records that match all three search keys. A match for the "current date and time" means that the "current date and time" is included between the "departure date and time" and the "arrival date and time." In many cases, multiple records are acquired.
[0038] Third, the search unit 304 acquires, from the records acquired in "second" of step S704, records in which the terminal IDs of other users who match the filtering conditions extracted in step S703 are stored. The records of the local OD information 211 acquired here are also called "filtered OD records." For a certain user, the "filtered OD records" are past travel histories of trips made by other users who have similar tastes, age groups, places of residence, etc. to the user, at the date, time, day of the week, and weather desired by the user.
[0039] In step S705, the search unit 304 determines whether the user request specifies a facility. Specifically, if the facility information presentation request includes a specific specified facility (proper noun) (step S705, "Yes"), the search unit 304 proceeds to step S706, and otherwise (step S705, "No"), the search unit 304 proceeds to step S707.
[0040] In step S706, the search unit 304 extracts other facilities to be visited after the designated facility. Specifically, first, the search unit 304 references the facility information 212 ( FIG. 5 ) and acquires the facility ID of the designated facility. Second, the search unit 304 searches the start point column 601 of the narrowed-down OD record using the facility ID acquired in "first" of step S706 as a search key, and extracts the facility ID stored in the end point column 602 of the corresponding record.
[0041] The facility ID acquired in "second" in step S706 identifies another facility that the user should visit after visiting the designated facility. The "second facility" corresponds to the other facility in this case. Then, the search unit 304 proceeds to step S708.
[0042] In step S707, the search unit 304 extracts other facilities that should be visited before or after the preference-matching facility. Specifically, first, the search unit 304 references the facility information 212 ( FIG. 5 ) and acquires the facility ID of the preference-matching facility. Second, the search unit 304 searches the start point column 601 or the end point column 602 of the narrowed-down OD record using the facility ID acquired in "first" of step S707 as a search key, and extracts the facility ID stored in the end point column 602 or the start point column 601 of the corresponding record.
[0043] The facility ID acquired in the “second” step of step S707 identifies another facility that the user should visit after visiting the preference-matching facility, or another facility that the user should visit before visiting the preference-matching facility. The “second facility” also corresponds to the other facility here.
[0044] As is clear from the above, the search unit 304 uses the narrowed-down OD records to identify other facilities to visit. The search unit 304 narrows down the records of the local OD information 211 based on the date, time, and weather, and further based on the narrowing conditions, to create narrowed-down OD records. Ultimately, the search unit 304 narrows down the candidates for other facilities to visit based on the date, time, and weather, and further based on the attributes of other users who have visited the candidate facilities to visit.
[0045] In step S708, the facility information acquisition unit 305 searches the facility information 212 using either the specified facility ID or the preference-matching facility ID, and the facility IDs of other facilities extracted in step S706 or S707, as search keys, and acquires all matching records.
[0046] In step S709, the ranking condition extraction unit 306 extracts ranking conditions from the user request. Examples of the ranking conditions are those shown in FIG.
[0047] In step S710, the ranking setting unit 307 applies ranking conditions to the information (location, address, industry, and keywords) of the records acquired in step S708, and ranks the facilities of these records. More specifically, the ranking setting unit 307 first assigns higher points to facilities where the means of transportation from the station facility is walking and the travel time is short. The ranking setting unit 307 then assigns points to each facility based on the ranking conditions, and determines the ranking in descending order of points. The ranking setting unit 307 may determine the ranking based only on other facilities, or may determine the ranking based on either the designated facility or the preference-matching facility and other facilities.
[0048] In step S711, the screen generation unit 308 generates a screen to be displayed on the user terminal device 103. The screens to be displayed are the recommended facility information output screen 1000 ( FIG. 10 ) and the plan output screen 1100 ( FIG. 11 ). At this time, the screen generation unit 308 limits the number of facilities to be displayed to the user to a predetermined number based on the ranking results. While we are still in the middle of FIG. 7 , the explanation will now move on to FIGS. 10 and 11 .
[0049] 10 is an example of a recommended facility information output screen 1000. Now, let's assume that the ranking is limited to other facilities and the number of facilities to be displayed is "3." The facility ranked first is "Facility A," the facility ranked second is "Facility B," and the facility ranked third is "Facility C."
[0050] The screen generation unit 308 generates the name of facility A in a field 1001, an image (video or still image) of facility A in a field 1002, the opening hours of facility A in a field 1003, and a reason for recommending facility A in a field 1004. Although not shown in FIG. 5 , the facility information 212 stores the facility name, image, opening hours, recommendation reason, etc. in association with the facility ID. The screen generation unit 308 extracts this information from the facility information 212 and generates the recommended facility information output screen 1000.
[0051] The screen generation unit 308 generates the age group and other attributes of users who stop by facility A in a field 1005. The screen generation unit 308 acquires the terminal IDs of users who have passed through a starting point or an ending point close to facility A from the in-area OD information 211, and acquires the age group and other attributes of the users of those terminal IDs from the movement information 213. The screen generation unit 308 generates a detailed information button 1006 for displaying detailed information about facility A.
[0052] The screen generation unit 308 generates the name and image of facility B in a field 1007, and generates the name and image of facility C in a field 1008. The information processing device 101 presents not only one facility but also facilities that have been visited from that facility, thereby helping a user who wants to stop at multiple places when leaving home to make a decision about going out. The positions and order of the fields displaying facility A, facility B, and facility C are based on the rankings determined by the ranking setting unit 307.
[0053] FIG. 11 shows an example of a plan output screen 1100. The screen generation unit 308 generates the name of the plan in a field 1101. The plan is a route and schedule for visiting multiple facilities. The screen generation unit 308 generates the locations of facility A, facility B, and facility C on a map, as well as the route between them, in a field 1102. The screen generation unit 308 generates specific means of transportation between the facilities and an estimated time spent at each facility in a field 1103. The information processing device 101 presents a plan that allows users to easily stop by multiple facilities while traveling, thereby helping a user who wants to stop by multiple places when leaving home to decide to go out. Incidentally, a route that allows users to travel between facility A, facility B, and facility C on foot is desirable. Return to FIG. 7 for further explanation.
[0054] In step S712, the screen output unit 309 displays the recommended facility information output screen 1000 and the plan output screen 1100 on the user terminal device 103. After that, the processing procedure ends.
[0055] (Variation 1) In step S701, the user request input unit 301 may display specific facility candidates on the user terminal device 103 and accept the user's selection of one of the facilities as a designated facility, without having to accept a facility information presentation request as part of the user request.
[0056] (Variation 2) In step S711, the screen generation unit 308 may automatically select images to be generated in the columns 1002, 1007, and 1008 from images on any site on the Internet (e.g., SNS) that have dates recent enough to satisfy a predetermined criterion. From among such images, the screen generation unit 308 may select images whose season, time, etc. match the information acquired in the "first" step of step S704.
[0057] (Modification 3) In steps S706 and S707, as described below, the search unit 304 may first acquire a station facility ID, and then acquire facility IDs of facilities close to the station.
[0058] In step S706, the search unit 304 extracts other facilities to be visited after the designated facility. Specifically, first, the search unit 304 references the facility information 212 ( FIG. 5 ) and acquires the station facility ID of the station facility closest to the designated facility. Second, the search unit 304 searches the start point column 601 of the narrowed-down OD record using the station facility ID acquired in "first" of step S706 as a search key, and extracts the station facility ID stored in the end point column 602 of the corresponding record.
[0059] Third, the search unit 304 refers to the facility information 212 and extracts a facility ID that identifies a facility within a predetermined distance from the location of the station facility identified by the station facility ID acquired in "second" of step S706. The facility ID extracted here identifies another facility that the user should visit after visiting the designated facility. The "second facility" here corresponds to the other facility. Then, the search unit 304 proceeds to step S708.
[0060] In step S707, the search unit 304 extracts other facilities that should be visited before or after the preference-matching facility. Specifically, first, the search unit 304 references the facility information 212 ( FIG. 5 ) and acquires the station facility ID of the station facility closest to the preference-matching facility. Second, the search unit 304 searches the start point column 601 or the end point column 602 of the narrowed-down OD record using the station facility ID acquired in "first" of step S707 as a search key, and extracts the station facility ID stored in the end point column 602 or the start point column 601 of the corresponding record.
[0061] Third, the search unit 304 refers to the facility information 212 and extracts facility IDs that identify facilities within a predetermined distance from the location of the station facility identified by the station facility ID acquired in "second" of step S707. The facility IDs extracted here identify other facilities that the user should visit after visiting the preference-matching facility, or other facilities that the user should visit before visiting the preference-matching facility. The "second facility" also corresponds to the other facility here.
[0062] The effects of this embodiment are as follows: (1) The information processing device can determine other facilities that the user should stop by on the way thereafter while ensuring convenient transportation. (2) The information processing device can avoid facilities that are difficult to stop by on the way thereafter depending on, for example, the date, time, or weather. (3) The information processing device allows the user to stop by facilities that other users similar to the user have stopped by. (4) The information processing device allows the user to narrow down other facilities that the user should stop by on the basis of the length of stay, etc. (5) The information processing device allows the user to first stop at a facility that the user actively specifies. (6) The information processing device can rank and display other facilities that the user should stop by on the way thereafter. (7) The information processing device can display routes and schedules.
[0063] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, but includes various modifications and equivalent configurations within the spirit of the appended claims. For example, the above-described embodiments have been described in detail to clearly explain the present invention, and the present invention is not necessarily limited to configurations including all of the described configurations. Furthermore, part of the configuration of one embodiment may be replaced with the configuration of another embodiment. Furthermore, the configuration of another embodiment may be added to the configuration of one embodiment.
