Language resource files occupy a large portion of the application installation package, but their compression rate is very high. Therefore, the language resource files can be compressed when packaging the application installation package and decompressed before launching the application. This can improve installation conversion rates to a certain extent. Figure 1 is a flow diagram of a method for processing an application installation package provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure. This embodiment of the present disclosure is applicable to processing application installation packages. The method can be executed by an application installation package processing device, which can be implemented in software and / or hardware. Optionally, it can be implemented by an electronic device, such as a mobile terminal, a PC, or a server. As shown in Figure 1, the method includes:

[0002] S110: Obtain a language resource file of at least one language type. The term "language type" can be understood as a language type, i.e., a language. A language resource file can be understood as a resource file that displays application interface content in a certain language type, and can also be referred to as a translation resource file. In this embodiment, when an application developer develops or upgrades an application, they need to develop or update the language resource file corresponding to the application and submit the developed or updated language resource file to obtain at least one language resource file. For applications installed on different operating systems, the language resource file is presented in the format corresponding to the operating system.

[0003] S120: In response to the installation package packaging request, at least a portion of the language resource files of at least one language type is compressed to obtain a language resource compressed package. The at least a portion of the language resource files of at least one language type can be understood as part or all of the language resource files of at least one language type. The installation package packaging request can be triggered by the user. The language resource files can be compressed using any existing compression algorithm, which is not limited here, for example, ZIP compression. In this embodiment, upon detecting the installation package packaging request, part or all of the obtained language resource files are compressed to obtain a language resource compressed package. Optionally, compressing at least a portion of the language resource files of at least one language type to obtain the language resource compressed package can be performed by obtaining a target language type and compressing language resource files of non-target language types to obtain a language resource compressed package corresponding to the non-target language type. The target language type can be a user-set language type, such as Chinese, English, or French, which is not limited here. To facilitate subsequent application switching between various language types, language resource files corresponding to multiple language types are developed. When compressing language resource files, only language resource files in non-target languages are compressed; language resource files corresponding to the target language are not compressed. For example, assuming the language resource files include Chinese and English resource files, and if the target language is English, the Chinese resource files are compressed, while the English resource files are not. In this embodiment, compressing language resource files in non-target languages prevents decompression issues when launching an application. This prevents application startup failures caused by decompression issues, requiring the language resource files corresponding to the target language to be loaded as a fallback.

[0004] S130: Package the language resource compressed package to obtain an application installation package. The process of packaging the language resource compressed package can be understood as adding the language resource compressed package to an executable resource file, so that the application can be successfully launched by loading the generated application installation package. Optionally, the process of packaging the language resource compressed package to obtain the application installation package can include placing the language resource compressed package into an executable resource file to obtain the application installation package. The executable resource file can be in a set format. Specifically, after obtaining the language resource compressed package, the compressed language resource package is placed into an executable file in the set format to obtain the application installation package. The technical solution of the disclosed embodiment comprises obtaining a language resource file of at least one language type; in response to an installation package packaging request, compressing at least a portion of the language resource file of the at least one language type to obtain a language resource compressed package; and packaging the language resource compressed package to obtain an application installation package. The application installation package processing method provided in the disclosed embodiment compresses the language resource files to reduce the size of the installation package, thereby improving the installation conversion rate of the application installation package. Optionally, FIG2 illustrates a method for processing an application installation package provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure. This method is applicable to processing application installation packages and can be executed by an application installation package processing device. This device can be implemented in software and / or hardware. Optionally, it can be implemented by an electronic device, such as a mobile terminal, a PC, or a server. As shown in FIG2 , the method includes the following steps:

[0005] S210: In response to the application launch request, obtain first resource version information of the language resource file in the application installation package and second resource version information in the local resource directory. The application corresponds to the application installation package; the application installation package includes a language resource compressed package of at least one language type; the language resource compressed package is obtained by compressing the language resource file. The first resource version information can be understood as the version information corresponding to the language resource file in the application installation package. The second resource version information can be understood as the version information corresponding to the language resource file of the application already installed on the terminal device. Both the first resource version information and the second resource version information are reflected in the form of setting fields. Optionally, obtaining the first resource version information of the language resource file in the application installation package may be performed by: obtaining a first configuration file in the application installation package; and extracting the first resource version information of the language resource file from the first configuration file. The first configuration file is stored in the executable file of the application installation package, and then extracting the first resource version information corresponding to the resource version field of the language resource file from the first configuration file. Optionally, obtaining the second resource version information of the language resource file in the local resource directory may be performed by: obtaining a second configuration file in the local resource directory; and extracting the second resource version information of the language resource file from the second configuration file. The local resource directory is used to display locally stored language resource files, and the second configuration file is used to store version information corresponding to the local language resource files.

[0006] S220: Verify the second resource version information based on the first resource version information. In this application scenario, after development, the application will continue to be updated and upgraded. Therefore, the language resource files will have different versions. To ensure that the application starts with the latest version, the first resource version information in the application installation package is used to verify the second resource version information in the local resource directory. Only after the verification is complete will the latest target resource file be loaded to start the application. Optionally, the second resource version information can be verified based on the first resource version information: if the first resource version information and the second resource version information are the same, the second resource version information in the local resource directory remains unchanged; if the first resource version information and the second resource version information are different, the second resource version information in the local resource directory is replaced with the first resource version information. If the first resource version information and the second resource version information are the same, it indicates that the target resource file in the local directory is the latest and does not need to be updated. If the first resource version information and the second resource version information are different, it indicates that the target resource file in the local directory is not the latest and needs to be updated. Specifically, the process of replacing the second resource version information in the local resource directory with the first resource version information may include: clearing the second configuration file in the local resource directory, and then adding the first configuration file containing the first resource version information to the local directory. Optionally, if the second resource version information in the local resource directory is not obtained, the first resource version information is added to the local resource directory. If the second resource version information in the local resource directory is not obtained, it indicates that the application corresponding to the application installation package is being installed and launched on the terminal device for the first time. In this case, the first resource version information is directly added to the local resource directory to facilitate subsequent application launches.

[0007] S230: After verification is complete, the target language resource file is obtained based on the triggered resource request. The resource request includes the target language type. The resource request is triggered by the user or automatically. In this application scenario, when launching the application, the user selects the language type, and the terminal generates a resource request based on the user-triggered selection. Alternatively, if no user-triggered target language selection operation is detected when launching the application, a resource request corresponding to the default language type is automatically generated. Optionally, the process of obtaining the target language resource file based on the triggered resource request may include: determining whether a decompressed target language resource file corresponding to the resource request exists in the local resource directory; if the decompressed target language resource file corresponding to the resource request does not exist in the local resource directory, decompressing the resource package corresponding to the resource request to obtain the target language resource file. In this embodiment, after detecting the triggered resource request, the terminal first determines whether a decompressed target language resource file corresponding to the resource request already exists in the local resource directory. If so, the target language resource file is directly obtained. If not, the resource package corresponding to the resource request is decompressed to obtain the target language resource file. In this embodiment, a determination is first made as to whether the local resource directory already contains a decompressed target language resource file corresponding to the resource request. This prevents repeated decompression of the language resource package, thereby saving resources. Optionally, decompressing the language resource package corresponding to the resource request to obtain the target language resource file may involve launching a child thread, which decompresses the language resource package corresponding to the resource request to obtain the target language resource file. The child thread is launched based on a user-triggered resource request and is a child thread relative to the main thread. The main thread is used to obtain the target language resource file to launch the application, while the child thread is used to decompress the language resource package. In this embodiment, decompressing the language resource package corresponding to the resource request by the child thread can improve the application startup speed. In this embodiment, the target language resource file corresponds to the target language type. After obtaining the target language resource file, the application is launched based on the target language resource file, so that the launched application displays in the target language type. For example, based on the above embodiment, FIG3 is a flow chart of a method for processing an application installation package in an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG3 , the method includes the following steps:

[0008] S310: Respond to the application startup request and obtain first resource version information in the application installation package.

[0009] S320, determine whether the second resource version information exists in the local resource directory; if so, execute S330, otherwise, execute S340.

[0010] S330: Determine whether the first resource version information and the second resource version information are the same. If they are not the same, execute S340; if they are the same, execute S350.

[0011] S340: Clear the local resource directory and add the first resource version information to the local resource directory.

[0012] S350: Obtain a resource request triggered by a user.

[0013] S360: Determine whether the decompressed target language resource file corresponding to the resource request exists in the local resource directory. If so, execute 380; otherwise, execute S370. S370: Decompress the language resource compressed package corresponding to the resource request to obtain the target language resource file.

[0014] S380: Obtain the target language resource file from the local resource directory. The technical solution of this disclosed embodiment involves, in response to an application startup request, obtaining first resource version information of the language resource file in the application installation package and second resource version information in the local resource directory. The application corresponds to the application installation package; the application installation package includes a language resource compressed package of at least one language type; the language resource compressed package is obtained by compressing the language resource file; the second resource version information is verified based on the first resource version information; after the verification is complete, the target language resource file is obtained based on a triggered resource request; the resource request carries the target language type. In this embodiment, the second resource version information is verified based on the first resource version information to ensure that the application is launched based on the latest version of the resource file.
