[0020] The following describes embodiments of the present disclosure in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Although certain embodiments of the present disclosure are shown in the accompanying drawings, it should be understood that the present disclosure can be implemented in various forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments described herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided to provide a more thorough and complete understanding of the present disclosure. It should be understood that the drawings and embodiments of the present disclosure are for illustrative purposes only and are not intended to limit the scope of protection of the present disclosure.

[0021] It should be noted that the titles of any section / subsection provided herein are not limiting. Various embodiments are described throughout this document, and any type of embodiment may be included under any section / subsection. Furthermore, the embodiments described in any section / subsection may be combined in any manner with any other embodiments described in the same section / subsection and / or in different sections / subsections.

[0022] In the description of the embodiments of the present disclosure, the term "including" and similar terms should be understood as open inclusion, i.e., "including but not limited to". The term "based on" should be understood as "based at least in part on". The term "one embodiment" or "the embodiment" should be understood as "at least one embodiment". The term "some embodiments" should be understood as "at least some embodiments". Other explicit and implicit definitions may be included below.

[0023] Herein, unless explicitly stated otherwise, executing a step “in response to A” does not mean executing the step immediately after “A” but may include one or more intermediate steps.

[0024] It is understandable that the data involved in this technical solution (including but not limited to the data itself, the acquisition, use, storage or deletion of the data) shall comply with the requirements of relevant laws, regulations and relevant provisions.

[0025] It is understandable that before using the technical solutions disclosed in the various embodiments of the present disclosure, the type, scope of use, usage scenarios, etc. of the information involved in the present disclosure should be informed to relevant users and authorization should be obtained from relevant users in an appropriate manner in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The relevant users may include any type of right holders, such as individuals, enterprises, and groups.

[0026] For example, in response to receiving an active request from a user, a prompt message is sent to the relevant user to clearly prompt the relevant user that the operation requested to be performed will require obtaining and using the information of the relevant user, so that the relevant user can independently choose whether to provide information to the software or hardware such as the electronic device, application, server or storage medium that executes the operation of the technical solution of the present disclosure based on the prompt message.

[0027] As an optional but non-limiting implementation, in response to receiving an active request from a relevant user, a prompt message may be sent to the relevant user in the form of a pop-up window, in which the prompt message may be presented in text form. Furthermore, the pop-up window may also include a selection control for the user to select "agree" or "disagree" to provide information to the electronic device.

[0028] It is understandable that the above notification and the process of obtaining user authorization are merely illustrative and do not constitute a limitation on the implementation of the present disclosure. Other methods that comply with relevant laws and regulations may also be applied to the implementation of the present disclosure.

[0029] As briefly mentioned above, electronic devices can present media content associated with historical behaviors in a target platform to users. Traditionally, this media content can be formulated by the staff of a target platform (such as an application) in an electronic device based on the historical behaviors of users in the target platform. In this case, the content structure of the media content formulated by the staff is relatively fixed. This will make the media content for different users unchanged except for the numbers and illustrations. Since different users have different historical behaviors in the target platform, different users may expect to present media content with different focuses. Traditionally, the media content formulated by the staff may not meet the personalized needs of different users for media content, which will affect the browsing experience of different users for media content.

[0030] Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an improved solution for generating media content. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a configuration interface including at least one candidate description item for generating media content is presented. Based on interactive operations in the configuration interface, at least one target description item is determined. Target media content generated based on the at least one target description item is presented. Thus, the embodiments of the present disclosure can enhance the personalization of target media content generated for different users, present different media content to different users, and help enhance the user's browsing experience of media content.

[0031] Various example implementations of this solution are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. To illustrate the principles and concepts of the embodiments of the present disclosure, some of the following descriptions will reference the gaming field. However, it will be understood that this is merely illustrative and is not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure in any way. The embodiments of the present disclosure can be applied to various fields such as simulation, virtual reality, and augmented reality.

[0032] Sample Environment

[0033] FIG1 shows a schematic diagram of an example environment 100 in which embodiments of the present disclosure can be implemented. As shown in FIG1 , the example environment 100 may include a terminal device 110 .

[0034] In this example environment 100, the terminal device 110 may be running an application 120 that supports a virtual scene. The application 120 may be any appropriate type of application for presenting a virtual scene, examples of which may include, but are not limited to, simulation applications, simulation applications, game applications, virtual reality applications, augmented reality applications, and the like. The embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited in this respect. In the case where the application 120 is a game application, it includes, but is not limited to, first-person shooter games (FPS), multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games, strategy simulation games (SLG), business simulation games, and the like. The user 140 may interact with the application 120 via the terminal device 110 and / or its attached devices.

[0035] In the environment 100 of Figure 1 , if the application 120 is active, the terminal device 110 can present an interface 150 associated with the virtual scene through the application 120. The interface 150 can present at least one screen associated with the virtual scene. The at least one screen can include a screen associated with a virtual object corresponding to the current user, a screen associated with virtual objects corresponding to other users, a screen corresponding to a non-player character, a screen associated with a location in the virtual scene, and the like. For example, the interface 150 can be a game application interface to present the corresponding game scene. Alternatively, the interface 150 can be another appropriate type of interactive interface that can support users controlling virtual objects in the interface to perform corresponding actions in the virtual scene.

[0036] In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 communicates with the server 130 to enable the provision of services for the application 120. The terminal device 110 can be any type of mobile terminal, fixed terminal or portable terminal, including a mobile phone, a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a notebook computer, a netbook computer, a tablet computer, a media computer, a multimedia tablet, a handheld computer, a portable game terminal, a VR / AR device, a personal communication system (PCS) device, a personal navigation device, a personal digital assistant (PDA), an audio / video player, a digital camera / camcorder, a positioning device, a television receiver, a radio broadcast receiver, an e-book device, a gaming device or any combination thereof, including accessories and peripherals of these devices or any combination thereof. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 can also support any type of interface for the user (such as a "wearable" circuit, etc.).

[0037] Server 130 can be a standalone physical server, a server cluster or distributed system consisting of multiple physical servers, or a cloud server that provides basic cloud computing services such as cloud services, cloud databases, cloud computing, cloud functions, cloud storage, network services, cloud communications, middleware services, domain name services, security services, content distribution networks, and big data and artificial intelligence platforms. Server 130 can include, for example, computing systems / servers such as mainframes, edge computing nodes, computing devices in a cloud environment, and the like. Server 130 provides backend services for application 120 that supports virtual scenarios in terminal device 110.

[0038] A communication connection may be established between the server 130 and the terminal device 110. The communication connection may be established via a wired or wireless method. The communication connection may include, but is not limited to, a Bluetooth connection, a mobile network connection, a Universal Serial Bus (USB) connection, a Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) connection, etc., and the embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited in this respect. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the server 130 and the terminal device 110 may implement signaling interaction via the communication connection between the two.

[0039] It should be understood that the structure and function of the various elements in the environment 100 are described for illustrative purposes only and do not imply any limitation on the scope of the present disclosure.

[0040] Some example embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below with continued reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0041] Sample interface

[0042] In order to more intuitively represent the interaction mechanism in the interface, a game scene is used as an example for explanation below. The embodiments of the present disclosure can enable users to understand the corresponding interaction principles by presenting an example interface.

[0043] Figures 2A to 2F illustrate exemplary configuration interfaces according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 may present the configuration interfaces shown in Figures 2A to 2F in response to receiving a request to view media content. For example, in a gaming scenario, the terminal device 110 may determine that a request to view media content has been received in response to receiving an operation associated with viewing a battle report, and may then present the configuration interfaces shown in Figures 2A to 2F.

[0044] It should be understood that the configuration interfaces shown in Figures 2A to 2F are merely example interfaces, and various interface designs may exist. The various graphical elements in the interface may have different arrangements and different visual representations, one or more elements may be omitted or replaced, and one or more other elements may also be present. The embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited in this respect.

[0045] In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the terminal device 110 may present a configuration interface including at least one candidate description item for generating media content. As shown in FIG2A , the terminal device 110 may present a configuration interface 200A. The configuration interface 200A includes multiple candidate description items, namely description item 201, description item 202, description item 203, and description item 204. The multiple candidate description items here are related to the current user's historical behavior within the target platform within a predetermined time period. The target platform here may be, for example, an application (such as application 120), a web page, a mini-program, etc., and the following description will be described using an application as an example. The current user is the user 140 that matches the terminal device 110. The predetermined time period here may be set by the current user himself or predetermined by the staff of the target platform. The predetermined time period may be, for example, a day, a week, a month, a quarter, or the length of a season in a game, etc. This disclosure does not limit this, and the following description will be described using a week as an example.

[0046] In some embodiments, at least one candidate description item in the configuration interface may be pre-set by relevant staff of the target platform and / or pre-set by the current user. In some embodiments, at least one candidate description item here may also be generated based on an analysis of historical behavior. Specifically, at least one candidate description item here may be automatically generated by analyzing historical behavior using an analysis system installed on the terminal device 110 and / or installed on the server 130 providing background services for the target platform.

[0047] Based on the current user's historical behavior within a target platform within a predetermined time period, the analysis system can generate multiple media content items that describe various aspects of the historical behavior. The analysis system can then score the multiple media content items (e.g., based on the level of excitement of each of the multiple media content items) and sort the multiple media content items in descending order based on the scoring results. Based on the sorting results, the analysis system can then determine a group of media content items with a higher ranking (i.e., a group of media content items with a higher level of excitement). Finally, based on this group of media content items, the analysis system generates at least one candidate descriptive item that matches this group of media content items. For example, the analysis system can generate a group of media content items based on the current user's historical behavior within a gaming application within a week. This group of media content items can, for example, be associated with win-loss rate, highlight moments, and interactions with gaming friends. In response to determining that the current user has a high win rate and good interactions this week, the analysis system can generate at least one candidate descriptive item.

[0048] The terminal device 110 may determine at least one target descriptive item based on an interactive operation in the configuration interface. The at least one target descriptive item here is the at least one candidate descriptive item that has been adjusted. If the at least one candidate descriptive item is a plurality of candidate descriptive items, the interactive operation may, for example, include adjusting the order of the plurality of candidate descriptive items. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 may, in response to detecting a drag operation on a particular candidate descriptive item among the plurality of candidate descriptive items, determine that the ranking of the particular candidate descriptive item within the plurality of candidate descriptive items is to be adjusted to adjust the order of the plurality of candidate descriptive items. As shown in FIG2B , the terminal device 110 may, in response to detecting an upward drag operation by the current user on a descriptive item 203 in the configuration interface 200B, adjust the ranking of the descriptive item 203 within the plurality of candidate descriptive items to adjust the order of the plurality of candidate descriptive items. For example, in response to detecting that the dragging operation has stopped, the terminal device 110 may determine the ranking of the descriptive item 203 within the plurality of candidate descriptive items, thereby determining the order of the plurality of candidate descriptive items and presenting the configuration interface 200C shown in FIG2C . It will be appreciated that the upward drag operation here is merely an example; a downward drag operation may also be used. The adjusted order of the multiple candidate description items shown in configuration interface 200C is also only an example, and the multiple candidate description items can also be in other orders. It is understood that in addition to the drag operation, the terminal device 110 can also adjust the order of the multiple candidate description items in response to any other appropriate operation, and this disclosure does not limit this.

[0049] In some embodiments, the interactive operation may further include, for example, modifying the text representation of a specific candidate description item in the at least one candidate description item. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 may, for example, determine that an adjustment request for the specific candidate description item has been received in response to detecting a click operation on the specific candidate description item in the at least one candidate description item.

[0050] In some embodiments, the adjustment request here may, for example, include a modification request. As shown in Figure 2D, the terminal device 110 may present at least one adjustment control in response to detecting a click operation on the description item 203 in the configuration interface 200D. The at least one adjustment control here may, for example, include a modification control 230. The terminal device 110 may further allow the current user to modify the description item 203 in response to detecting a trigger operation on the modification control 230. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 may, for example, determine a modified description item 203' based on the user input received in the description item 203, and present the configuration interface 200E as shown in Figure 2E. The description item 203 in the configuration interface 200E is updated to the description item 203'.

[0051] In some embodiments, the adjustment request may also include, for example, a modification request. As shown in FIG2D , the configuration interface 200D presented by the terminal device 110 in response to a click operation on the descriptive item 203 may also include, for example, a delete control 240. If the at least one candidate descriptive item includes multiple candidate descriptive items, the terminal device 110 may, in response to detecting a trigger operation on the delete control 240, delete the descriptive item 203 from the multiple candidate descriptive items and present the configuration interface 200F shown in FIG2F . The multiple candidate descriptive items presented in the configuration interface 200F may only include the descriptive item 201, the descriptive item 202, and the descriptive item 204. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 may, for example, determine that a delete operation has been received for the descriptive item 203 and delete the descriptive item 203 in response to detecting a leftward or rightward swipe operation on the descriptive item 203. It will be appreciated that the terminal device 110 may also determine that a modification request or a delete request has been received for a specific candidate descriptive item in response to any other appropriate operation.

[0052] In some embodiments, the interactive operation here may also include, for example, refreshing at least one candidate description item. As shown in Figure 2A, the configuration interface 200A may further include a refresh control 210. The terminal device 110 may refresh at least one candidate description item in response to detecting a trigger operation on the refresh control. The multiple candidate description items presented in the configuration interface 200A after the refresh are at least partially different from the multiple candidate description items presented before the refresh. For example, if the multiple candidate description items presented before the refresh are description item A, description item B, description item C, and description item D, the multiple candidate description items presented after the refresh may be description item E, description item F, description item C, and description item G.

[0053] It is understood that, in addition to interactive operations, the terminal device 110 may also adjust at least one candidate description item to determine the target description item through other appropriate means. For example, in configuration interface 200A, the terminal device 110 may delete description item 203 and present configuration interface 200F in response to detecting the voice message "delete description item 203".

[0054] In some embodiments, the configuration interface may also include an input control. The terminal device 110 may also determine at least one target description item based on input information obtained via such an input control. Such an input control may, for example, be an input box. In response to receiving text information entered by a user into the input box, the terminal device 110 may determine at least one target description item. For example, in response to receiving the text information "This week's friend interactions" and "This week's new heroes" entered by a user into the input box, the terminal device 110 may determine the text information "This week's friend interactions" and "This week's new heroes" as at least one target description item. Such an input control may also, for example, be a microphone control. In response to receiving a user click on the microphone control, the terminal device 110 may obtain user voice information. The terminal device 110 may then determine at least one target description item based on the obtained voice information. It is understood that the input control may also be of any other appropriate format, and the input information obtained via the input control may also be in any form, and this disclosure is not limited thereto.

[0055] Furthermore, the terminal device 110 can present target media content generated based on at least one target description item. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 can present target multimedia content in response to detecting a multimedia content presentation request. As shown in Figure 2A, the configuration interface 200A can also include a continue control 220. In response to detecting a trigger operation on the continue control 220, the terminal device 110 can determine that the current user has completed the modification of at least one candidate description item and determine at least one modified target description item. The terminal device 110 can then present target media content generated based on the at least one target description item. It will be understood that, similar to the interactive operation, the terminal device 110 can also determine that a multimedia content presentation request has been received in other ways. For example, the terminal device 110 can present multimedia content in response to detecting the voice "continue".

[0056] In some embodiments, the at least one target description item includes multiple target description items, and the target media content includes multiple content parts corresponding to the multiple target description items to describe multiple aspects of the historical behavior. In some embodiments, since the multiple target description items are associated with multiple aspects of the historical behavior, the multiple content parts and the multiple target description items can be in a one-to-one correspondence. For example, if four target description items are included, the target media content can include four content parts, each of which is used to describe the corresponding target description item.

[0057] In some embodiments, the target media content presented by the terminal device 110 includes multiple pictures corresponding to multiple target description items, wherein each picture is generated based on the corresponding target description item. Figures 3A and 3B show schematic diagrams of examples of pictures included in the target media content according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in Figures 3A and 3B, picture 300A can be generated based on description item 201, for example, and picture 300B can be generated based on description item 202, for example.

[0058] In some embodiments, the target media content may present a picture switching prompt. The picture switching prompt is used to prompt the user to switch the browsed picture to view other content of the target media content. As shown in Figure 3A, picture 300A may include prompt information 330. For example, in response to receiving an upward swipe operation by the user on picture 300A, the terminal device 110 may switch to presenting picture 300B.

[0059] In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 can switch to a configuration interface that presents at least one target description item based on a return request from the current user for the target media content. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 can determine that a return request has been received in response to detecting a triggering operation on a return control included in the target media content, and then switch to presenting the configuration interface. As shown in Figure 3A, image 300A can also include a return control 310. The terminal device 110 can, for example, switch to a configuration interface that presents at least one target description item in response to detecting a triggering operation on the return control 310.

[0060] In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 can also, based on the current user's sharing request for the target media content, cause the target media content to be shared with a specific user and / or a specific platform. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 can, in response to detecting a triggering operation of a sharing control included in the target media content, determine that a sharing request has been received, and then cause the target media content to be shared with a specific user and / or a specific platform. As shown in Figures 3A and 3B, pictures 300A and 300B, for example, can also include a sharing control 340. The terminal device 110 can, for example, in response to detecting a triggering operation for a sharing control 340, cause the target media content to be shared with a specific user and / or a specific platform.

[0061] In some embodiments, the target media content may include multiple sharing controls in the image, and the functions of these multiple sharing controls may be the same or different. As shown in Figure 3A, image 300A may also include sharing control 320. For example, in response to detecting a trigger operation for sharing control 320, terminal device 110 may only share image 300A currently displayed on terminal device 110, that is, only share image 300A with specific users and / or specific platforms.

[0062] Thus, the terminal device 110 can automatically generate at least one candidate description item for generating media content based on the current user's historical behavior within the target platform. The terminal device 110 can also determine at least one target description item from the at least one candidate description item based on the current user's interactive operation on the at least one candidate description item, and present target media content corresponding to the at least one target description item. In this way, the target media content generated for different users can be personalized, different media content can be presented to different users, and the user's browsing experience of media content can be improved.

[0063] Generation of sample target media content

[0064] The above description of the user interaction and the different contents presented by the terminal device 110 in conjunction with Figures 2A to 3B is described. The generation of the above-mentioned target media content is described below in conjunction with Figures 4 to 5. The target media content can be generated locally by the terminal device 110 or generated by the server 130. The terminal device 110 can send at least one target description item to the server 130 and obtain the target media content generated for the at least one target description item from the server 130. For the convenience of description, the target device is referred to as the electronic device that generates the target media content. In some embodiments, the target device can generate the target media content using any appropriate method. For example, the target device can generate the target media content using at least one machine learning model. In addition, the following exemplary description is given in conjunction with the accompanying drawings using the example of at least one target description item including multiple target description items. It can be understood that when at least one target description item only includes one target description item, the target device can still generate the target media content using any appropriate method.

[0065] FIG4 shows a schematic diagram of an example architecture 400 for generating target media content according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG4 , a target device can obtain multiple target description items 401 (including target description items 401-1, 401-2, ..., 401-N, where N is a positive integer). The target device can generate a group of guide items 402 (including guide items 402-1, 402-2, ..., 402-N, where N is a positive integer) based on these multiple target description items 401. Each guide item in this group of guide items 402 is in a one-to-one correspondence with each target description item in these multiple target description items 401, that is, the number of a group of guide items 402 is the same as the number of multiple target description items 401.

[0066] Regarding the specific method for generating a set of guidance items 402, in some embodiments, for the first description item in the multiple target description items 401, the target device may determine multiple preset guidance items corresponding to the first description item. These multiple preset guidance items may be pre-stored and pre-set guidance items on the target device. For example, if the first description item is the overall performance of the week, the target device may pre-store multiple preset guidance items associated with the overall performance of the week, such as "This week's overall performance is excellent, with a win rate exceeding most netizens, and a standing hero," "This week's overall performance is poor, with a win rate lower than most netizens, and a kneeling hero," etc. The target device then determines, based on the current user's historical behavior, the first guidance item corresponding to the first description item from the multiple preset guidance items. This first guidance item may serve as the guidance item corresponding to the first description item in the set of guidance items 402. For example, if the current user's historical behavior on the target platform within a week indicates that the current user has a high win rate this week, the target device may determine from the multiple preset guidance items that the guidance item matching the target description item "This week's overall performance" is "This week's overall performance is excellent, with a win rate exceeding most netizens, and a standing hero."

[0067] In some embodiments, this set of guidance items 402 may also be generated by the target device using a machine learning model. For a second description item among the multiple target description items, the target device may generate input information for a second model based on the second description item and historical behavior. The second description item may be the same as or different from the first description item, and this disclosure is not limited thereto. The second model may be, for example, a language model. Language models include, but are not limited to, feedforward neural networks (FNNs), convolutional neural networks (CNNs), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), and the like. The input model may output a second guidance item corresponding to the input information. The target device may obtain a second guidance item generated based on the input information from the second model. This second guidance item may serve as the guidance item corresponding to the second description item in the set of guidance items 402. Figure 5 illustrates a schematic diagram of an example architecture 500 for generating guidance items according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 5, a target description item 501 and historical behavior 502 may be provided as input information to a second model 510. The second model 510 may output a guidance item 503 corresponding to the target guidance item 501. By using the machine learning model to generate guidance items in this way, the target device can use the second model 510 to sequentially generate a group of guidance items 402 corresponding to multiple target description items 401.

[0068] Referring back to Figure 4 , a set of guidance items 402 is provided to a first model 410 by a target device. Based on the input set of guidance items 402, the first model 410 can generate target media content 404 that matches multiple target description items 401. For example, the first model 410 can be an image generation model. Examples of image generation models include, but are not limited to, feedforward neural networks (FNNs), convolutional neural networks (CNNs), generative adversarial neural networks (GANs), and the like.

[0069] In some embodiments, the target device may also provide the first model 410 with image resources 403 associated with the current user, for use by the first model 410 in generating target media content. Image resources 403 may, for example, include at least one of an image identifier of the current user and an image of at least one virtual character within the target platform. Image identifiers herein include, but are not limited to, a user avatar of the current user, a picture taken by the user (e.g., a selfie), and so on. The at least one virtual character is determined based on the current user's historical behavior. For example, the at least one virtual character may be a virtual character used by the current user more than a preset threshold within a predetermined time period. The target device may determine such at least one virtual character as the current user's frequently used virtual character. For example, if image resources 403 include virtual character A, and the guidance item 402 input to the first model 410 is "Overall performance this week is poor, win rate lower than most netizens, a kneeling hero," the first model 410 may output target media content 404 containing an image of virtual character A in a kneeling position. If the image resource 403 includes a selfie of the current user and a virtual character B, and the guide item 402 input to the first model 410 is "excellent overall performance this week, with a winning rate exceeding most netizens, a hero in a standing posture", then the first model 410 can output target media content 404 including a virtual character B with a standing posture and a facial image of the current user's selfie.

[0070] Thus, the target device can automatically determine a corresponding set of guidance items based on the multiple target description items obtained. The target device can then generate target media content corresponding to the multiple target description items based on this set of guidance items. In this way, the target media content can be generated conveniently and quickly, helping to improve the efficiency of generating target media content.
