Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] Light signaling system
[0003] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The invention, as the title of this specification states, a light signaling system integrated into clothing, is an innovation that, within current techniques, provides previously unknown advantages.
[0005] TECHNICAL SECTOR
[0006] The present invention falls within the sector of optical signaling systems, especially those that use visible light sources and / or flashing light.
[0007] Similarly, in the clothing classification that corresponds to outerwear, protective clothing and accessories, specifically those provided with reflective or luminous safety devices.
[0008] STATE OF THE ART
[0009] The present invention arises in response to the need to improve the visibility and safety of motorcyclists and cyclists on the road.
[0010] This is because observing motorcyclists and cyclists on the roads is hampered by factors such as heavy traffic, lack of lighting at night, or adverse weather conditions, which can increase the likelihood of road accidents involving these vulnerable groups.
[0011] Consequently, this invention seeks to improve the visibility and safety of motorcyclists and cyclists on the road by implementing a light signaling system integrated into safety clothing.
[0012] Currently, the existence of any integrated light signaling system in safety clothing is unknown, which has structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal to or similar to those described in this specification, as claimed. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0013] The object of the present invention is the creation of a light signaling system that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description.
[0014] The present invention relates to a light signaling system integrated into a garment, which comprises at least one sensor capable of detecting when a vehicle is braking or turning and sending this information, through a wireless technology connection to a control device, responsible for turning on lights present in a garment.
[0015] This solves the problem of poor visibility for motorcyclists and cyclists on the roads.
[0016] This system is very useful for signaling maneuvers that motorcyclists and cyclists intend to perform, which will increase road safety and reduce the likelihood of accidents.
[0017] The system features wireless technology that enables rapid detection and transmission of braking and turn signals, ensuring an immediate response from the lights on the motorcyclist's or cyclist's safety gear, increasing the visibility of these road users' maneuvers.
[0018] To use the system, the motorcyclist or cyclist must ensure that their clothing is equipped with the appropriate lights and be aware that the system operates through wireless technology that communicates with the control device.
[0019] It's also important that the clothing fits properly to ensure accurate signal detection. This will allow maneuvers to be effectively signaled, increasing the user's visibility on the road and improving their safety and that of other motorists.
[0020] EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES
[0021] To complete the description being made and in order to help better understand the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by some figures in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following have been represented.
[0022] Figure 1 represents a view of the back of the garment.
[0023] Figure 2 represents a front view of the clothing.
[0024] Figure 3 represents a cyclist with his respective vehicle wearing the clothing.
[0025] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION.
[0026] The light signaling system comprises at least one sensor (1) capable of detecting when the user carrying the light signaling system brakes or turns on the vehicle on which it is mounted, and sending this information, through a wireless technology connection (3), to a control device (4), responsible for turning on lights (5) present in the clothing (6).
[0027] The electronic components are powered by an electrical power supply.
[0028] In a preferred embodiment, the sensor (1) is of the motion sensor, pressure sensor or acceleration sensor type or a combination of them inclusive, said sensor (1) being capable of detecting when the braking force is being applied, the changes in acceleration or the lateral movements that are intended to be made and, based on this data, sending the appropriate and precise signal to the control device (4).
[0029] In the preferred embodiment, the sensor (1) is present in the vehicle (2) connected to the braking system configured to detect when the vehicle's brake has been activated. Thus, it detects when the user brakes so that the corresponding light signaling system is automatically switched on.
[0030] In another preferred embodiment, the vehicle (2) is a bicycle or a motorcycle.
[0031] Preferably, the wireless technology connection (3) is via Bluetooth.
[0032] Generally, the control device (4) is an independent electronic device, of the printed circuit board type, which is part of the clothing itself or the vehicle, said control device (4) being the one in charge of receiving the signals from the motion sensor and sending the appropriate signals that turn on the corresponding lights (5) at the precise moment.
[0033] Preferably, the lights (5) include lights approved by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), of the LED type, which comprise a brake light (5.1) and flashing lights (5.2), which are switched on based on the signals received from the sensor (1) processed by the control device (4).
[0034] Generally, the clothing (6) is a safety vest whose lights (5) provide high visibility.
[0035] Preferably, the brake light (5.1) is clearly visible on the back (6.1) of the clothing (6), while the flashing lights (5.2) coincide with the shoulder areas (6.2), likely to allow greater visibility and safety on the road while driving the vehicle (2).
[0036] Preferably, the clothing (6) has a compartment that houses an electric power supply (7) of the rechargeable battery type, which can be replaced by another or is easily rechargeable via a USB port (8).
[0037] Generally, the lights (5) can be adapted to any type of clothing or apparel, using hook and loop or sewing fixing means, among others.
[0038] In one embodiment, the control device (4) is connected to the vehicle's turn signals in the case of a motorcycle, activating the turn signals (5.2) if the vehicle's turn signals are turned on.
[0039] Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to explain it further so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages derived from it, stating that, within its essence, it may be put into practice in other embodiments that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example, and to which it will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
